Fantastic bakery. They have a great Russian cake there and sometimes its by the slice. The King Cake is the best in the city without question and its nice to be able to go to a bakery and get one without waiting in line for an hour or two. The service was quick and the employees are all nice and professional.

Their King Cakes are the BEST!!! I love their Traditional but for Special Occasion during Mardi Gras you can’t beat their Queen Cake! ❤️ Their birthday cakes are first rate! There isn’t anything we’ve tried there that we didn’t absolutely LOVE! ❤️

Apparently, beignets with powdered sugar is now a thing of the past for some in NOLA. 😲 While there recently, I was introduced to "glazed beignets." The lure of eating a beignet without the dreaded trail (i.e. evidence) of white sugar surrounding me was at first very questionable, but ultimately, I gave in to the temptation and said "hey, why not?" 🤷🏽‍♀️ After all, I just wanted a beignet...or two! Let me tell you, they were different, but they were magnificently delicious. So good, a half dozen had to make the trip back home so that I could share with my family and get them up-to-speed on this new way of enjoying beignets. They loved them too! Antoine's is the place for creative, new, different, and delicious treats! They never disappoint!

Antoine’s is now my favorite bakery! From the Belgian slices, glazed donuts, beignets, petit-fours, and my birthday cake, these items are a testament to this king’s success. Also, the customer service is always five star. Support black owned!

Who doesn't LOVE Antoine's?! This location is in a small, busy, cramped strip mall type place with little parking. The store itself appears modern, clean, and smells wonderful! The cashier was very friendly despite being the day before Thanksgiving and being very busy. There was another lady there who came out to help. She was friendly but seemed a bit...well...she was helpful but rather than stopping to listen and communicate to customers she just kept saying, "I'm listening." and expected people to just tell her what they wanted, hoping for the best. I bought the butter pound cake...it is delicious! I also bought a Kringle cake. We'll cut that tomorrow for Thanksgiving.

My favorite Bakery in Louisiana. I normally visit the Gretna location. I found out there's a Metairie location and I went there to get a King Cake for my Mom's Birthday. The lemon filled King Cake was AWESOME! Lemon filling in every bite. The staff was so polite and ready to assist in helping Mom decide on her filling. Their donuts are great too!💕👍👍

Stopped this morning on the way home to try this place since I've always heard people mention it...King cake was super fresh and tasty. Glazed beignets were even better. And unlike Mannys down the street who is always sold out, Antoine's had plenty of stock available. I will be back for sure next time in town. 5*

Called for a custom cake for my 6 yo birthday party, and the staff was very helpful with the custom idea I had. They called a couple of days ahead of pick up to confirm the order and details. This is a very friendly establishment! I went to the one in Metairie. I wanted a Shimmer and Shine birthday cake made for my daughter, but it was too late to get it customized. I waited last minute, but they was able to put a picture on there for her. She loved it! The cake was super delicious! I also got some cake pops and some other pastries which was very tasty as well! The bakery is very clean, and you will not be disappointed with your purchase. Thank you so much for helping me put a smile on my little girl's face. Went in yesterday to buy a whole cake for myself because I Love cake so much. There was only 1 sales associates working. I don't know if she was the owner, but she was very friendly, and customer service savvy. She greeted every customer who walked in, and apologized for the wait. Little did she knew, I was in no hurry, I was so grateful to be in the opened bakery, cause all I knew was I wanted my cake so that I could be in cake heaven. When it was my turn, I made the purchase, and asked her if she could cut my cake so that I could eat a slice in my car...but she blessed me with an already cut slice....and all I know from there is that she made my whole day!!!! I will forever be customer! Thanks to all the Lady's at this location for Great Customer Service and a Friendly welcoming smile

my family was there over the weekend for the parades & visiting family and i notice the sign as I was looking all over for a fresh baked king cake. my sister and i walked over and there was the best smell in the world when I walked in with the nicest lady ever!! we talked a moment about the cakes and I got the original one as its the family favorite. it was absolutely one of the best king cakes I've ever had...it was light fluffy and lots of icing (which my children love) and they went crazy because for them its all about the thick icing. will definitely get another one from there when we visit family again!!

The service and king cake were equally spectacular! Purchased the strawberry and cream cheese king cake...flaky and delicious! Even purchased mini cannolis. Wished I would have gotten more cannolis because they were quite tasty! Will definitely return to Antoine’s soon!

The last visit I needed help with getting a birthday cake, the lady owner went out and beyond to get me all i needed. She was really professional and accommodating. This made us order extra items that we had not intended to have. The cakes are delicious and the place clean. I will always recommend my friends to go there. Thank you so much. Awesome bakery! Only been there on two occasions. I was able to contact them after hours when they rescued me in the time of need! I had a situation to where my birthday cake was destroyed. The manager was so understanding and sweet! She came all the way back to work and contacted me and offered me another cake. After I explained to her what happened and showed her the damage. She explained to me why it happened and also told me that it also happened to her and that because I had strawberry filling in the cake, that's why my top layer slid off and that in the future that I should put my cakes on a flat surface with fillings such as strawberry or filling that is prone to slide. ☺

As soon as u walk in the shop it smells like heaven. I went there to pick up a wedding cake and while I was waiting I couldn't stop looking at all the treats. Let's just say the smell of the shop definitely goes with how the treats taste. The cake was also amazing. It was nice and moist and icing was amazing also. Will be returning very very soon.

I am visiting from Oklahoma and my fiance, native of New Orleans bragged about this bakery for awhile! Of course I had to try it, and we accidentally stumbled upon a location while I was in town. The staff was very welcoming and both greeted us. My fiance got a huge chocolate dipped strawberry and I got a new item on the menu, tiramisu. His strawberry was very delicious and juicy, and my tiramisu was absolutely amazing! I wish they were in Oklahoma so I could get my wedding cake from here! Thanks for the delicious treats and friendly staff!!

I would give this bakery 5 stars but today the experience I had on thanksgiving eve with the store manager I’m assuming who were telling the other two workers what to do. Had a terrible attitude she was very rude i spoke with a sibling of mine who knew who I was talking about agreed she’d had a bad experience with her last year around this time. long lines and they were only taking phone paid orders first while walk ins had to wait 30 minutes to be served! I love this bakery because the food Is great not the service but if it continues I will be forced to take my business else wear btw black short female older with short hair wearing a hat beware !!!!!!

This place makes awesome cakes. They have a lot of variety of baked goods. We bought a buttercream cake with buttercream filling. The cake was moist and fresh and the icing was really good. I'll definitely come back to either order a personalized cake or treat myself with a dessert.

The environment was clean and organised with a friendly staff. I got their apple cream cheese king cake in medium traditional size. It was delicious and so worth it. That's the best king cake that I have tasted so far asides from dhu phong. I will definitely be going back for more.

3 stars bc the lady that took my order was accommodating as it relates to taking my order. However she had to call me back and tell me my order could not be made 2 hrs before my scheduled pickup time. Custom cakes obviously doesn’t mean custom. Basically just cake designs they want to do. The design I wanted was not offensive or deragatory. A disclaimer or list of designs they dnt want to do should be listed on website. Also 3 stars bc at least they refunded my money.
