Last week, I came in to buy hardo bread for my son. The store only accepts cash, which I did not have. The lady at the counter pointed me to ATm, but I could not find my bank card. I asked her if I could Zelle, and she said no. She called me closer and asked the bread I wanted, I told her and she told me to take it and I could pay them later. I go to that store often, but I doubt she knows who I am. She was just being a kind person. Thank you!

It's not like it used to be. The sugar buns don't taste the same & they were dry even though they claimed they were just baked. The bread was fresh. The patties aren't the best but the coco bread is good. Maybe I went on an off day but they are definitely not like how they used to be regarding quality.

Based on experience from 2017-18. Bread here is fresh and smells wonderful. The patties are excellent. This place is highly recommended! More than likely if your traveling and get close to there you'll smell the fresh coco bread and other breads that's made there.

Champion bakery ...patties, sugar bun, bread fresh every day but they need to pay attention to customer service. I ordered cocktail patties for 12noon pickup, i got there at 2:15 and was told i need to wait 10 minutes for the patties. This was not the first time i had to wait for patties. Customer service is key to a successful business.

Besides the older woman at the counter who had a bit of an attitude, everyone else was so sweet, their breads are to die for and not to mention the Easter buns omg, it brought back a feeling of nostalgia when I was a child in jamaican on Easter time, I definitely would recommend this bakery big up to the men and women who makes these delicious pastries.

My family has enjoyed various baked items (hardo bread, spice buns, patties, birthday rum cakes, etc.) for 3 generations. Proud to say there's a continuing friendly relationship and this is especially rare these modern times. The founder, Ms Dell, is gone, but she'd be happy to know that her legacy remains in tact and in good hands.

I have been going to Champion since they opened their doors in 1978 the hard dough bread is the best especially if you get it hot I must say their beef patties were excellent but lately they taste quite different almost like they put vinegar in the mix I have not bought a beef pattie in 2 years from them but I still travel over an hour to get the bread.

When got there most of their stuff were I assumed sold, I had few choices, what I bought wasn't to my liking. The cashier was very friendly and explained what some of the pastries that were left were called and what it was made of, she was helpful.

I like the bread from this bakery but i was a bit appalled by some of the bakers not wearing mask and even though there are signs saying "No Mask , No Service " and only five (5) customers at a time those rules were not being enforced.
