Everyone is super friendly and lightning quick service. The donuts are amazing. I love the consistency/texture of them. Mochi is my favorite confection so it's awesome to have it in donut form. I've read other reviews comment on the sweetness level of the drinks. There is an option to choose the sweetness level when you order. I'm not sure if that's new or if other folks missed it. I had the pandan and hazelnut at 50% sweetness and it was pretty good but I'll probably get 75% next time. I would say 50% would be like slightly watered down sweetened iced tea. I think it's great that they have an option for customers to choose the sweetness level. I also love that they have rotating flavors for the donuts. I'm glad I don't live too close or I'd be going here all the time!

Finally, legit mochi donuts in the Twin Cities! They are so good and worth the wait. Black sesame was my favorite flavor, but I overheard that they rotate flavors every two weeks or so. Please note that you can only order via kiosk, and it can take quite a while for people to decide what they want to order. I didn't order any boba because the sweetness wasn't adjustable, but I'm not sure if it's like this for every drink.

my husband and i went here last night and got two drinks and a six pack assortment of the mochi donuts! the entire place is super cute! my husband got a mango drink and i got an iced coffee, both were good… but the mochi donuts were amazing. we brought some home and my entire family loved them! the toffee ones are SO SO good! definitely would come back and recommend to try it out, i’m sure you’ll love it too and want to come back!

My first time going to a Japanese doughnut and Boba cafe. Space is quite small that tells me the space there renting per square ft must be expensive. Its my first time paying $15 dollars for six doughnuts. Most of the icing is base white chocolate but the extract different flavors the Taro flavor did not carry its weight it was basically like white chocolate with purple coloring maybe should try ube flavor? The fact you can only choose one out of your six pack per the the pink Golden rose tea flavor because the ingredients in it is not cost effective and driven by quality base and want to give customer a upscale donut is interesting concept to market one of your doughnuts. It was hard to get around for me and my son waiting for are order. The rest of the doughnuts we choose except the Taro was pretty flavorful. The boba teas for the price you want they look beautiful but flavor do not pack a punch I had better at Feng Cha. I wonder if this was done un purpose because you dont want your products to be overly sweet? The Kiosk payment at the line is quite interesting I see this more after covid. The staff was very nice. I love the decor of the Cafe. Overall I would come back for the doughnuts as a once in a bluemoon if im passing through not a go out of my way for you type of deal watch im sad about that. I would like to go out of my way for you someday for I live way over by Mystic Lake Casino. Ok have a great day!

My partner and I keeps watching people buy like 2-5 boxes and we were like let try this place. I got Chizu Taro Latte and 6 mixed different kind. Wow they are BOMB! So good and we feel like we are in heavenly. Definitely will come back with Chizu Taro Latte for me and my partner love their donut. Perfect for our mini date. HIGHLY recommend stop by!!! (Yon won’t regret it!)

First of all, the setup of this shop is super cute! If you're more into aesthetic cafes with cute photo walls, this is definitely the place for you! They have a rose covered wall with a neon sign, a 3D display of wings, and a hot air balloon setup for all your photo needs. To order, you use the two screens towards the back of the cafe. They're straightforward and easy to use. You also use those screens for payment. If you buy a drink, you can also buy one mochi donut. The default option is buying 3 or 6 mochi donuts as they don't allow you to buy a singular one if you don't also purchase a drink. The drink itself was SO good! Definitely some of the best boba I've ever had. I also can't get over how cute their cups are! If I could go back to try every flavor of drink they have, I would.

To be honest, they do not have the best mochi donuts I have had everywhere in the United States, but to have one like such in the Twin Cities, with such good service, efficiency, and options, is amazing already. I loved the black sesame, taro, strawberry, and Oreo mochi donuts, and an employee there told me today that they are coming out with new flavors soon! The décor is also very suitable for pictures when customers want to take some. But what impresses me the most is their employees' level of patience and ability to handle a large, loud crowd. They ensure that every person's order is sufficiently completed, and even remember it if you have also ordered a boba tea. I know this business will thrive without a doubt, given their popularity, but I implore every customer to give the employees hospitality, patience, and, in some cases, empathy. They deserve everything!

Love this place! The mochi donuts were yummy (favorite was taro). Bubble tea was decent, but mochi donuts were the highlight. Beautiful decoration and space was made with students in mind - had outlets on the table with usb :)

The donuts 🍩 are worth the drive and standing in line… it’s like a moist dessert, like a luxury chew, not like a dry text from your date, but more like a soft Pom Pom, boba balls. (Mochi Dough) Worth the wait, GET THERE EARLY as they do run out of the donuts. We got lucky and grabbed the last three around 9pm. Line is long, but goes fast. Parking, non existent.

BEST LOCATION FOR MOCHI DONUTS IN MN. I’ve tried other stores & local vendors here in mn and they cannot compare to this location! Tasty flavors & Mochi bread like texture. Beautiful interior and many seating available. Their Mochi Donut menu changes occasionally to produce more variety of options, so definitely take a look at their socials first to check what they have for that day.

amazing!! the mochi donuts are to die for! they are so crispy on the outside and chewy in the middle. the creamy smooth frosting is so perfect on top! i asked and these are NOT gluten free or vegan. they contain eggs. the boba here is delicious as well! definitely recommend coming to dinky town to come here and explore all the other asian options in the area!

Such a cute place to take pictures and hanging out with friends/family. There are different flavors of mochi dough and when you take a bite, it’s cheery inside covered with delicious toppings on the outside. Their drinks are also good and refreshing

Seriously these doughnuts are the best ones I have ever put in my mouth. These were soooo light. My husband and I ate the entire box in one sitting. All flavors were decadent but my personal favorite was strawberry. If you are craving some amazing melt in your mouth light and fluffy doughnuts, this is the place to go.

Decided to go check this place out since I love donuts, and Mochi Dough did not disappoint! You can taste the rich texture of the mochi in the balls, and the amount of flavors they had was quite plentiful. The staff was super friendly, and Bober Tea was good too. The vibe is great too if you like taking pictures. You may need patience if you visit during a busy time.

Went in today to try out some mochi donuts. The line was long but that was expected because they just opened up after hyping for months. Line went faster than I thought, service was quick got my order in less than 5 minutes. The doughnuts were light, crispy, airy, and weren’t heavy at all, could definitely eat a whole box without even knowing. Overall the staff was friendly and service was quick! Would definitely recommend this place for doughnuts lovers out there.

First timer here , place is great for ig pics. The donuts are good but the drinks were way to sugary for me, Now on to service and pricing could be more better honestly their is only one size for drinks which is large or xl and you have to pick a popping boba in which I didn't want because I don't need all that sugar , And tip option you have to tip their is no other option . I wish they had different sizes and sugar content and calories and etc that wasn't listed on the kiosk machine (I know it's in college town dinky but more millennials are becoming health aware to ) pricing is a bit pricey to. But anyways I saw a blind lady go in and they didn't help her with the menu on the kiosk they need to be more attentive for that as well so I walked up to help her instead. Will I go back prob so take some more pics and see if they changed anything.

Glad I came here to try this out! My drink and the donut I got were very good! The mochi donut was amazing and warm. I am a bit frustrated as I thought the drink I ordered came with boba. The photo of the drink on their menu has boba in it but apparently it is not included with the drink. Please change your photo, it's very misleading and frustrating! I came because I wanted boba and left without it. :(

These are the best donuts I’ve ever had! They’re soft and chewy yet still a little crispy. Not too sweet, everything about them is just perfect. The boba is also amazing got the signature milk tea (so good!) and mango green tea with passion fruit boba (also delicious). It’s an expensive place but worth every penny. Since it’s still so new, the line is huge. Make sure you order ahead online so that you can skip the line!

Very much worth a visit! We got a 6 pack of doughnuts, a brown sugar boba tea, & a matcha green tea. And they serve excellent, good quality matcha! Doughnuts (top left to bottom right): chocolate drizzle funnel cake, matcha, cookie monster, funnel cake, birthday cake, & churro. My favorite was the matcha (good quality matcha) but you can only get it in a 6-pack box. My runner up is the birthday cake. Hubby loved the chocolate funnel cake the most. Brown sugar tea was good but nothing to write home about. The matcha tea was actually REALLY good! Seriously, this place knows their matcha! I recommend reducing the sweetness of your drink so it's not overwhelming with the doughnuts.

I even told I drove 30 minutes just so I could come see this place and she was impressed with my dedication to driving there. I love the hazelnut boba I got and the machine donuts. Super cute interior with statement walls and a little spot styled for photo shoots. This place is an explosion of pink. Their drinks list is large and wonderful! You order from a screen that lets you customize everything which I love: it also shows you photos of everything. I got the taro latte with the cream cheese like topping and it was incredible.

I really like their donuts and drinks. Everything I've had has been good. But they are more pricy than many bubble tea places and their policies are really weird and unclear. Their linked website claims that they do dollar donuts on Tuesdays if you buy a drink, but they said they actually don't do that. They have certain donut flavors that you can only get if you buy a box of 6, but what they didn't mention is that you can still only get one of that flavor. So you buy a box of 6 to get the flavor you want but can only get one anyway, which is weird. They also don't accept cash and not all of their menu is available for ordering ahead, so you have to order off the kiosks in the store, turning your back to the rest of the restaurant. I find it uncomfortable, but I'd be happy to do it if it was the only uncomfortable thing about the store. I'll still go here, because I do like the items, but I'd be more inclined to visit if it weren't for these issues.

Apparently if you order the 3 donut box you are restricted to certain flavors. On top of that there is Never parking available. Good donuts, but too much restrictions.

First time I went, the donuts were great. Second time, they were undercooked. Also, the way they reserve a certain flavor for people who buy six donuts is a little frustrating— if you don’t want to eat six donuts. I’m not sure I’ll come back, since there is a place in Saint Paul that makes really good mochi style donuts to order.

I have never tried boba before and this experience was just more than I could ask for. The staff was dancing around to the music and was super friendly and helpful. The decorations and set up of the store was so awesome and super super cool. And the drinks were absolutely amazing and I will for sure be coming back again!!

The Mochi Doughnuts are great! I've had boba tea other places that has tasted better.. and allowed for more options/mixings. I didn't like that they only offered ordering through kiosk. The kiosk has the menu and pay feature but there is no menu in store outside of the kiosk.. soo with only two kiosks if someone doesnt know what they want right away a line can form easily. Its awkward too because the line for ordering cuts through pick-up so just not a good flow for traffic. You're walking around people to get what you need. There is also only 2 size options for boba tea.. large and then a champagne bottle. Would of liked to see a smaller size option available as well.

Usually they have a doughnut that can only be purchased as part of a 6 pack. Also the doughnuts are generally stale and sit out in a case. I would rather have them fresh. You can't buy just 1 doughnut, the minimum purchase is 3 which is strange since that's far too much food for one person. The boba tea is good, but there are lots of places you can get boba tea.

Extremely loud, bright and warm inside! We were very uncomfortable ordering and waiting for beverages, shuffling around other patrons and trying to talk over blaring loud rave music. The doughnuts and icing had great texture and sweetness, but no distinct flavor. The Vietnamese coffee was delicious but the taro milk tea mostly just tasted like milk. Customer service was polite and the workers were focused and kind. Stop in for a yummy doughnut!

I really like the donuts. The sesame one we ordered were delicious. We were smart and got 25% sweetness in our milk tea. It was good. They’re new and they have operational hiccups I hope they fix it because I basically threw away $15. you can order a box of eight churro or funnel cake donuts. So I ordered the funnel cake ones that when we came up to the counter there were none available and they said we are making them right now and will get them to you. That was all completely fine and I even told the young woman We are not in a rush. Not 30 secs later she’s pushing a steaming hot box at me that cake from the back and tells me not to close the box. I’m pretty annoyed because I already know what’s going to happen to these donuts the thing about fried food if you don’t let them rest then they’re just going to keep cooking each other. It’s so crowded I don’t get a chance to fly her down and ask for different donuts and I really regret taking that box home. Because sure enough what I brought home was basically sugar mush. I threw the whole thing away. Our other donuts which came in the mix box or a fantastic and it really was she should not have handed out super hot donuts crammed into a box. We also met the owner outside who asked us if we like them even though we haven’t tried them yet and we had a small chat with him. I like supporting small businesses and we will return. I hope they help the worker not to stuff hot donuts in a box. But otherwise, it was worth a stop.

These are the best mochi donuts in the twin cities (so far). Soga has nothing on these. Ordered a full spread of their mochi donuts and their signature milk tea. First things first, their prices are kind of high. The shop looks to mostly be catering to social media photos and whatnot. Not my favorite atmosphere, but I won't let it detract from what's important, the food. The mochi donuts here are very good, up to par with similar establishments in Seattle and L.A. They have that slight chew that I have come to expect. They were very fresh and the flavor choice here is actually really solid. There wasn't a single flavor I disliked or wished they could improve. My signature milk tea has a decent flavor but is mostly overridden by sugar. That's not always a bad thing, but it's not my favorite. The star of the show for my drink was the stir fried boba. These were a new experience for me and holy cow they're delicious. Definitely give these a try in whatever drink you end up getting.

Easy to order and quick moving service. They use a kiosk syst for customers to place their orders. When completed, they just call you over to pickup. We got both the boba and mochi donuts. Loved the boba. Their mochi donuts were well decorated and cute. However, I wasn't a huge fan of them. They were a little dry for my preference but my friend and her entire family LOVES them. Aside from that, the place is super cute. It is a little tiny so, plan your visits well if you want seating or photos. Don't go during busy hours or days.

In my opinion this is the best boba tea in Dinkytown. The options are great, however they won’t make drinks without ice which means I’m not going in the winter. Drinks and add ons are also pretty pricey but they are good so I don’t mind too much. Definitely recommend the cheese on top and the crystal boba!
