We tried Papas egg bread at another store and we liked it so much we looked them up and decided to to check out their store. Located on Howell just south of the airport, easy to get to. The shop is small, but they always have a great selection, not a huge selection, but great! I highly recommend that you go early for the best selection. They put out fresh product daily but it's not restocked throughout the day, they start over and make new again after they close. Various breads, rolls, buns, donuts, deserts (some items we've seen are cookies, brownies, strudels, cinnamon rolls - it's been a little different each time we go in), our son's favorite item is the cinnamon swirl bread. There's a rack where everything on it is $1. Customer service is fantastic. Love chatting with the owner. If you are looking for something specific order it ahead. If you're there and there's something you're looking for ask! They might have something in back.

Absolute BEST 'EGG BREAD'!!!! This bread is so soft and delicious! I was raised on Egg Bread and Challah Bread, so I've had egg-type breads from many different bakeries, Papas nailed the egg bread!

Love the staff! Fresh healthy bakery. Orders are a plus when you need to fill ahead of time events. Works with local business's. Very good bakery products. Ran out of there wonderful almond tarts, (must try) found several rolls ,buns and breads on there $1 day old rack ( great price ) very pleasant and helpful sale persons too. Would of been a 5 star visit but the bread slicer was in disrepair Backing up customers.

Best staff ever! The specials are amazing values. The regular priced items are worth every penny. But the must try is the tarts! It is a cross between raspberry tart and almond cookie. *Droool* Do yourself a favor buy several and share!

Everything there is great. The breads are awesome, especially the seeded light rye. The egg bread is great and so is the sourdough bread. The strudels and the pastries are also delicious. The people there are very courteous also.

Very good pastries, but you have to get there very early before they sell out. I went there to get a large kringle which is one of their specialty items and they were out because they forgot to order a specific ingredient needed make them. Very limited doughnut selection. Mostly pliant doughnuts with various frostings.

The strusel is terrific. I love the raspberry and the cherry cheese. Great customer service. I tried a loaf of the egg bread to make french toast which came out so delicious.

Wonderful bakery and staff. I really love their salted marble rye and have ordered it for family and friends after they enjoyed it at our house. Well worth a trip to Papas to try their bread/bakery.

One lady in particular, is very knowledgeble & no matter how busy it is (she the only one there) she has a smile on her face & is very courteous...the bakery is awesome & I love the day old bakery, which is priced very well that anyone can afford to buy it.

Great bakery and breads I especially enjoy their cheese pockets. If you get them earlh they may still be warm. If they are watch out for the cheesr filling comming out.
