Had a great experience working with Aggies for our wedding and better late than never on the review! Not only did they provide us with a beautiful cake that tasted delicious, but they also provided us with mini treats so our guests had more options. The feedback was awesome that it wasn't just a standard cake and they could pick what they were feeling for the day. Then to end the night we did a donut wall where they were able to create our wedding colors as the icing on the donuts. The experience with Aggie's from start to finish was amazing and if you don't want to take my word for it, let the pictures do the talking!

My husband and I finally had our wedding reception 1 year ago today and we had an absolutely amazing experience with Aggie's! They were so helpful during the initial meeting - I forgot to select that it was a wedding consultation but Alex quickly went in the back to whip up some samples for us. We had to postpone several times due to Covid and they were so flexible and organized, checking in with us for our plans. We gave them decorations we wanted to use on the cake and they totally captured what we wanted, making the whole planning experience smooth! We got lots of compliments on our marble cake, and it wasn't too sweet. I would absolutely recommend Aggie's to any soon-to-be bride 😊

The wedding cake was delicious! Our guests loved the design of the cake and having two flavors to choose from. The whole process was easy. The tasting was fun getting to mix & match flavors around to find the best options for us. Very quick to respond to emails and accommodating to requests after the deadline (THANK YOU!). We ended up with extra cake and froze 2 layers; we recently thawed one layer after being in the freezer for almost 2 months and was still just as good! They even helped me surprise my cousin with a small cake for her sweet 16 the next day! All in all a great experience and would do it again.

We used Aggie's for our wedding cake, and we had a wonderful experience working with them! The owner, Rachel, was so helpful during our tasting. She gave us all the information we needed and was quick to help with any questions we had. The sampling experience was plentiful and very delicious! Though it was hard to choose between all the yummy flavors, we ended up with a 3-tiered red velvet cake with French cream filling and buttercream icing. It was beautiful and tasty! We also had a few sheet cakes so each of our 115 guests could have a slice. We had a little leftover after - and were glad we did! We definitely recommend using Aggie's.

Our consultation with Alex was great for helping us decide what we wanted for our wedding cake, from the decorations we wanted to the different flavors for our sheet cake and our personal cake. We also ordered their mini desserts for our sweets table and the wide variety we were able to pick from was a big hit at the wedding. We highly recommend for any occasion for your dessert needs!

Aggie's did a fantastic job on our wedding cake. When we had our tasting Rachel was very easy to work with and very informative during the process. Communication back and forth was responsive and timely. For our wedding we had a two-tier cut cake along with sheet cakes. I loved the entire experience we had with Aggie's Bakery for my wedding cake! They were one of the few places that offered in person cake tastings and it was a very pleasant experience. The staff were very kind and knowledgeable, and even gave us some great tips about choosing a cake. They were easy to contact and really worked with us when delivering the cake. Our wedding was fall themed and the style and colors on our cake came out perfectly. The cake itself was delicious and was very enjoyable. I highly recommend them for all occasions!

We used Aggie's for our wedding and could not have been happier! We had to change our date and venue a few times and there was never any issue. Alex was so great to work with and always responded to emails in such a timely manner. We had a few cake tastings because we just couldn't decide on a flavor, as they were all amazing! Our cake was so beautiful on the day of our wedding and exactly what we asked for! The cake itself was also very moist and fresh, something important to us because we found a lot of other cakes in the area can be dry. Would recommend Aggie's to anyone getting married, or just in general if you're looking for great desserts!

Absolutely loved our wedding cake! My husband and I ordered this beautiful cake from Aggie's last June. It was a marble cake with french cream layers and cream cheese frosting. It was so amazing! From the start, when we went in for our tasting, we had so many choices, and all were so amazing. Thank you Aggies for being so welcoming, helpful, and overall doing a wonderful job on our cake. It was so beautiful, and we truly loved it.

I can not say enough positive things about the experience my wife and I had with Aggie's. From the initial taste test and consultation and then a secondary taste test with our custom flavor selections. Aggie's truly made us feel like we were their only client every time we were there. They listened and cared about our request and delivered on those requests 10x over. Aggie's has gained life long customers between my wife and I. I would truly reccomend this amazing bakery to anyone looking for the sweet finish to their special event.

My husband and I are so happy we chose to have Aggie’s Bakery as our dessert caterer for our wedding! We had a dessert table, and a small two tiered cake. All the way back to the first tasting, and everything in between leading up to the wedding, Aggie’s was such a pleasure to work with. The tasting was wonderful. We were able to try so many different options for our dessert table, and we even got to try extra just to make sure on our final decision. For no extra cost! Our guests fell in love with the desserts on our dessert table, and are still raving about them! Our small two tiered cake was for our wedding party, and immediate family. We had some of those people say it was the best cake they have ever had! We are so happy we chose to work with Aggies, and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!☺️

Aggie's Bakery made and delivered our cake on 9/17/22. It was on time, gorgeous, and everything we envisioned. Not only did they deliver the cake on time, but they made suggestions on where to store it since it was an outdoor wedding and warm. We never even thought about that, so very thankful they suggested placing it in a different location until it was ready to be served. They even positioned the cake topper. Slicing and serving the cake was easy and it held up very well throughout the day! Taste, customer service, and knowing we were getting a quality product is why we gave this establishment 5 stars. We hired Aggie's to make our wedding cake in May. Our tasting with Rachel was amazing. She was so kind and very quickly understood my vision for the tiered cake. We chose three different cake flavors and they were so absolutely delicious on the wedding day. The reason for my 4 star review was the communication in the few months before the big day was challenging and the tiered cake on the day of did not match my original vision (color and shape were a little off). Rachel was extremely gracious and professional and acknowledged the differences, which was much appreciated. Our cake was so tasty, which honestly is the most important part!

Aggie's provided exceptional service from the cake tasting through delivering our cakes to our reception. By far, Aggie's had the best tasting cake at a reasonable price. We had such a difficult time choosing between flavors that we offered our guests five different options. We received many compliments on the cake from our guests. In addition to our traditional wedding cake, we had Aggie's create a groom's cake. They exceeded all our expectations, and we could not have been more grateful. Holy cow this place is amazing. I ordered a cake for my daughter's first birthday party. I provided them some photos of the decorations I planned to use and asked them if they could customize the design based on that. WOW did they come through. The cake was SO CUTE. Literally everyone at the party was oooing and ahhing over it before they even tasted it. Then when we finally tasted it, that was a complete home run too. 100% recommend.

We chose Aggies as one of our wedding vendors to supply a small round cutting cake and a bunch of mini desserts for our guests. Supporting a local West Allis company was the perfect choice. The website is set up so well, we knew 90% of what we wanted before going in to meet with Alex (who is the sweetest soul in the entire world and a dream to work with). We finalized everything in just one meeting and had everything set for delivery. I realized just a few weeks out from our wedding date that I had guests with severe allergies that would need alternate dessert options. I emailed a request and after a bit of brainstorming (with ownership) we found the perfect solution for my two guests. I'm just so impressed with how all communication was handled throughout the process. Delivery was a breeze and the desserts were amazing!

This place has changed alot from the last time I was here. The customer service has drastically improved, which was phenomenal. Bienenstich, Almond twist, peanut butter cookie and chocolate dipped chocolate chip cookie were all perfectly done. It was quite overwhelming to pick from their huge selection, but we enjoyed it all. The pies were so amazing everyone said great things about them. They were so tasty. We also ordered a cutting a cake and it was looked gorgeous and was perfect for our cake cutting ceremony. The staff at Aggie’s was amazing to work with. When we arrived Friday all our pies were ready so we could get them all boxed up and ready for the day. When we arrived Saturday morning our cake was also ready. We didn’t have to wait everything was just ready for us when we arrived. Our wedding cake was amazing we went with a three tier vanilla cake with two tiers filled with lemon filling and one tier filled with raspberry. The lemon filling was hands down the best! Our design was birchbark which was also beautifully done for our fall wedding. Aggie’s team was super easy to work with from the time we walked in the door until the day of delivery. We highly recommend them! So many compliments were received on our cake not just by the look of it, but also the nice moist refreshing taste. The appointment was amazing and Alex helped us customize our cake the way we wanted it without feeling pressured into something else. We also had cupcakes to go along with our cake. Go for the s’mores flavor!!! On pick up day, it went very smoothly (aside from the bridezilla in front of us who argued for 45min about not knowing her own pickup date…don’t be like her, these people work WAY too hard). Aggie’s is very professional, friendly, and willing to work with your specific needs. Anyone looking to have the perfect wedding cake that’ll “WOW” your people, definitely choose Aggie’s Bakery!!!

We cannot recommend Aggie's enough for creating the perfect wedding cake. Their short, in-person "cake consultation" makes the wedding cake one of easiest parts of wedding planning. They helped us with decorating ideas, matching cake and frosting flavors and ensured that we would have enough for all our guests. I hear from so many people that they never have time to eat the cake on their own wedding day. Unfortunately (besides cutting the cake when we entered), that ended up being true for us too. All our samples and the small taste on our wedding day were delicious. If I could do it again, I would serve the cake before dinner ; )

We had Aggie's catered for our wedding in October 2021. We had a phenomonal experience from start to finish. We met with a worker from Aggie's for a tasting and we were able to try many cakes before choosing the one we wanted. They were all delicious and had a perfect texture. We chose our cake for our date we picked in October 2020. We then had to postpone to October 2021 due to COVID and Aggie's was extremely undertsanding and accomodating. We then had our cake delivered on time for our big day in October 2021. The cake was absolutely beautiful and everything we had imagined. The flavor and texture was perfect too. Absolutely tremendous experience. We hired Aggie's to cater dessert for our wedding. It started with an awesome experience during our tasting through both the delicious food as well as the patient and helpful staff. Surprisingly, Aggie's offers unbeatably good prices and plenty of options to fit exactly what you need. They delivered what we needed, on time with impeccable quality. Almost every guest came up to us and commented on how our mini cupcakes, fruit tarts, lemon bars and brownies were insanely great. Aggies is always sweet (get it) and if you pick up a cake from their fridge they will write on it for you!!!. Their donuts and cheesecake is delicious. What am I saying everything is awesome there. My wife and I got married a year ago and we had a great experience with Aggie’s bakery. They where very helpful with questions when we came in for the tasting. My wife and I decided to go with a personal cake red velvet on top and cheese cake at the bottom and cheese cake, red velvet, marble cupcakes, the guest really love the cupcakes and cake. Until this day people tell us the cupcakes and cake was the best they ever tasted and that makes us feel great with our choices. The only sad part was that my wife and I never got a chance to taste the cake, because after the cake cutting people wanted to take more pictures with us. After we took pictures and went back to eat some cake, there was no more cake 🥺🥺. I really recommend going and using Aggie’s bakery they will help you and answer all your questions

We used Aggie's Bakery to supply our cupcakes and a smash cake for our wedding reception. The staff was quick to reply with requests and information. We were able to try many flavors and combinations of cakes, fillings, and frostings. They had great suggestions for colors, designs and flavors. Ordering, payment and pick up was all easy and efficient. Prices are fair. I would recommend them for anything from one cupcake to enough for a party of hundreds.

Aggie's did a tremendous job on our wedding cake. It was a beautiful 3-tiered cake with a cascade of flowers added. We chose to have each layer be a different flavor. Red Velvet with Cream Cheese filling, Yellow Cake and cheesecake with French Cream filling and Marble Cake with French Cream filling. Everyone raved about how delicious all three were! Not only was the cake beautiful and tasty, but Aggie's also made the delivery extremely seamless. If you want one less thing to worry about on your wedding day, get your cake from Aggie's!

I'm so glad that a friend of my moms recommended Aggies to us. Our Wedding was Oct. 22, 2021 and Aggie's Bakery & Cake Shop did an amazing job! We ordered Cake and desserts (cannoli's, apple bars, mini raspberry cheese cakes, fruit tarts) everyone loved them. Our cake turned out delicious and gorgeous and had everything on it that we had asked and even had our hidden mickey on it that they did in the scroll work.

My husband got me a cake for my birthday from here and my 2 sons picked it out. The cake was beautiful and was exactly as they requested. The actual cake itself was delicious, but the frosting was alright... We actually thought they accidentally put the wrong frosting on the cake (we ordered buttercream and we thought it looked and tasted like whipped frosting). We just prefer buttercream and don't really care for whipped frosting so he was super disappointed The following day he brought the remainder of the cake back into the shop and they reassured him it was, in fact, buttercream frosting but with the adding color or depending on what type of cake you choose, it can alter the taste. They were very polite and offered samples to show the comparison. They still even reimbursed us, so I would say their customer service is great and just to recommended to others to taste test some samples of frosting before you order the cake if you're as picky as we are about frosting!

After taste testing two other local bakeries before Aggie’s we were just not finding the selection or quality that we felt met the standards of our wedding day. From taste testing to final details, Alex was extremely helpful in outlining our many options for us and the final result delivered! Aggie’s did the cupcakes for our wedding after we searched many many bakery’s for the right cupcake. We ended up selecting them based on the carrot cake since that is my favorite flavor and there’s tasted just like mom’s homemade carrot cake! Prices were much more reasonable than others in the area and they had a wonderful selection of options. Everything was on time and as ordered. The final cupcakes were a bit more dry than the tasting but overall were still tasty - my favorites were the carrot and the lemon with raspberry filling while my husband liked the more simple vanilla funfetti! Overall a good experience and would use them again for another event!

My wife and I had our wedding catered by Aggie's not too long ago. I would highly recommend getting a wedding cake by Aggie's. They were very gracious in letting us postpone our wedding date twice due to COVID. We had a 3 tiered cake each tier was a different flavor combination our guests loved all of the combinations we selected! One area for improvement would be better communication while the cake is still being cut. Numerous wedding guest had thought we had run out of cake. (Although this might be on our Wedding Coordinator's to have announced). Overall, I would highly recommend Aggie's for an unforgetable wedding cake.

I bought some cookies. They were incredibly dry and without much flavor. The french cookies had "jelly" in them that would not break and so I had to eat the whole thing or tug at it like a dog on a chew toy. The sugar cookies were rock hard and tasteless. It should taste buttery and sweet. Both crumbled into the consistency of sand. I'm no baker, but maybe butter, brown sugar, or a shorter cook time? I don't know. Maybe it was a bad day for the baker. The Chocolate chip cookie (which is wrapped in plastic, not in the shelves) was pretty good, though. It wasn't my favorite type of chocolate chip cookie, being more crumbly than I prefer. But it tasted good. A little inconsistent in the chocolate chips. But again, not bad, and even really good if you like a dryer cookie. reminded me of the ones I used to get at my local Piggly Wiggly. I give it a pity 3/5

Ordered a birthday cake for my husband with ps4 controller button theme. I didn't draft an exact design but emailed them the controller pic and described the design in person. They were very quick at understanding what exactly I wanted. This is my first time ordering from them. I wasn't sure if fondant or butter cream would be better for the outer design and if I can make the whole cake red. They were really helpful to explain that fondant might give a cleaner look but wouldn't taste good, moreover it's expensive. And dark colors do not taste good. So, we came up with this optimum design. My husband looooved it. It was just perfect! Colors and buttons matched exactly; refer to picture. Inside was a marble cake layered with butter cream frosting. It tasted as good as it shows. 1lb cake with this design costs around $40

A year ago today, Aggie's made our wedding cake for our receptiion at the Milwaukee War Memorial. The cake was INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!! The cake was beautifully decorated and just perfect. Aggie's is the best!! We hired Aggie's for our wedding in July. Our idea was a "Cake Bar" with a variety of cakes for our guests to choose from. In total, we order 12 cakes of different flavors, and our guests were able to choose whichever piece they wanted. SO many of our guests said they tried 2-3 different cakes because they were all soo good. We had very few leftovers, and the rest of the cake didn't last long either. It was perfect.

Aggie's Bakery made us absolutely delicious wedding cakes! We got a three tier showcase cake and two half sheet cakes for our ~160 guest count rather than one giant tiered cake to save some money. This also allowed us to get three different flavors of cake, which was a great way to offer variety to our guests rather than just a traditional wedding cake flavor. My now-husband had the crazy idea to try carrot cake with lemon curd filling instead of the typical cream cheese filling when we went in for our samples and it turned out to be a super delicious, unique flavor that we used as one of our sheet cakes. Try it out! I brought in a photo of a cake with henna-style piping for our Indian wedding and Aggie's recreated the look really well. Overall great cake, great decoration, and no complaints!

We used Aggie’s Bakery for our wedding cake baker. We had only a two tier cake, and it was very beautiful, but it wasn’t designed exactly as Rachel, one of the owners, and I had discussed. I picked out a ballerina pink frosting with an ivory lace pattern, but it looked just all ivory. The first photo is what we agreed on except just two tiers. The second is the actual cake. It was still very pretty but not exactly what I wanted. It tasted amazing though! We got chocolate cake with a raspberry filling and a vanilla buttercream frosting. The taste was amazing!

Our guests had little cheesecake bites while we had a small cheesecake to share between us. Everyone we talked to loved that we went with cheesecake as opposed to a regular cake. Aggie’s made some amazing cheesecake and we’re so glad we went with them for our wedding experience.

The taste…how moist the cake was…the details in the cake decorating…the professionalism. The horrible tasting charged us an exorbitant amount for the tasting and wanted us to pay for a design fee and wait a week for a quote. Not only was the delicious tasting at Aggie’s free and friendly, a consultation was given immediately with a customized quote right there. Pricing out several options to show us. Rachel knows her stuff! So professional! And so within our budget. Go get some yummy cupcakes whenever you can and they’re also friendly for your wallet. Incredible taste and portion size. Amazing service! So happy we chose you for our wedding!!!

Last year on 7/17/21 Aggies did our wedding cake and it looked beautiful and just as we envisioned! The service and consultation was great, everyone was super friendly and helpful in the process. As for the taste, we can only remember from the taste testing and the words of our guests as they ate every single piece before we had a chance (although I did have a fondant acorn), it was just THAT GOOD!! We had 3 different flavors on each tier which probably lead to people having multiple pieces but all I can say is, our guests were impressed and loved it, and that is all we could ask for!

I had to edit my review but if this was a 10 star option, I would still say they deserve more. I had a sweet table to make and I kept putting it off because I kept changing what I wanted and my kids kept changing their numbers. The caramel torte was just Devine. The Aggie’s buttercream icing was the best. Not too sweet, not too dull and unlike certain chain stores where the icing can come off in one piece and leave you in sugar shock for a few minutes after that first bite which for me is usually my last. There were only maybe 2 of the mini desserts I didn’t order but I won’t have enough to tell you that there was not one thing about them to complain about. The turtle brownies were just the perfect size in mini form. I couldn’t eat a whole full size one. The tarts were ALL awesome. I didn’t think I would like the cherry almond tarts but in the end, they were my favorites. And I love how you can order online and choose your day and time for pickup or delivery. But make sure you either order super early or watch the web site where they will tell you when they are 100% booked for both pickup and delivery. Especially during wedding season. Awesome

I highly recommend Aggie's cakes! I ordered a sheet cake (pictured below) for a surprise birthday party. I live in California so I had to order remotely, which can be hit or miss. The staff was super helpful! The website showed a large variety of cakes and the staff answered all of my (many) questions. The cake was a huge hit! It was a shame to cut into such a cool design, but I am so glad we did! Layers of light, delicious white cake were surrounded by creamy (dreamy!) vanilla frosting. It was fantastic! We were able to feed a crowd of over 50 people (including several teenagers!) easily and had enough left to share with staff at the restaurant. A great experience overall!

Our experience at Aggies was awesome! We had a great experience throughout the process. My wedding was June 11 2022. We met with Raquel in November 2021 for a cake consultation. We were undecided about the cake and she agreed to do half cheese cake and half white cake with Strawberry filling! It was a 3 layer cake and it turned out wonderful. Aggie's was amazing through all the prep work down through delivery. I would advise asking to try other flavors aside from what they offer as part of their standard tasting to get a much bigger selection. When they delivered, apparently we were told by our venue that the noticed a small streak on the cake that shouldn't have been there. Aggie's wouldn't accept that as being quality and drove the 30 + minutes back to the bakery to fix the issue and STILL arrive on time with an outstanding cake...that's customer service. When my husband and I went to our appointment at Aggie's with a very specific cake reference photo for our wedding, I was nervous that it could be done. After meeting with owner Rachel and showing her the photo, she was confident that her team could pull it off. And let me tell you, they perfectly executed the cake I have always dreamed of! Our decorator Brian even did some trial "brushstrokes" for our cake design and sent us photos to confirm that we were happy with it before confirming our cake. When I walked into our venue on our wedding day and saw our cake, it took my breath away. It was exactly what I always pictured. Besides the gorgeous way it looked, our cake was SO delicious. The frosting was not overly sweet, and the strawberry cream filling was light and juicy - it didn't taste like fake fruit, and you can tell that the team puts a lot of love into their bakes. One of the reasons we also love Aggie's is their mini desserts - we ordered turtle brownies, cream puffs and key lime tarts and everything was astounding. Aggie's makes it easy to offer multiple desserts for your guests, which is a fun way to mix it up. Working with the team at Aggie's was also just such a delight. Our wedding date kept moving around due to COVID-19, and the team at Aggie's helped us navigate the whole situation with kindness and flexibility, which took out so much of the stress we were already under. We had a variety of cakes/filling combinations to try (all of which were delicious) and he really understood our vision as to what we were looking for in the cake! We did have some communication issues as our wedding date neared (which was nerve-wrecking) and a few minor things were missed on the cake’s end result, but nobody knew except us. We got our wedding cake from Aggie's back in June of 2019. The cake itself was beautiful and delicious. The quality and taste of their cakes were above and beyond that of any of the other bakeries that we tried. I would be a little hesitant to recommend them though. Maybe things have gotten better since our wedding, but the whole ordering process and day of wedding coordination was very unorganized. At one point when we went for a follow-up appointment to finalize details, they had lost all of our paperwork from our previous appointment. Then on the day of the wedding, the cake was delivered about 4 hours earlier than our agreed upon time. And instead of bringing the cake safely into the hotel through a service entrance, they wheeled it into the main lobby of the busy hotel on a luggage cart and brought it to the reception desk. They then sat there waiting in the lobby while calling the mother of the bride to ask what to do with the cake instead of dealing directly with the hotel safe to bring it to the correct location. For being a bakery that makes plenty of wedding cakes, they seemed to not understand how the wedding day coordination and process worked. Once our cake was finally brought to our reception space, we found a large gash through the bottom tier, which thankfully our florist was able to hide with flowers. So although the cakes taste great, I would be weary of using them for such an important day that relies on a schedule being followed and staff being professional.

My wife and I purchased our cake from Aggie's for our wedding in 2019 and this review honestly reflects our wedding cake purchasing experience. We had a consultation about a year prior to the wedding to setup our wedding cake. Upon wedding day our wedding cake was colored gray when it was initially requested to be gold (see picture). This had occurred under prior ownership (Adam Purcell) who is no longer with the bakery out of spite due to pricing. Following our wedding we called furious about the situation however the current owner had informed us that Adam was no longer with the Bakery and it now has new owners. We were refunded as a result. We were very happy with the prompt and kind response by the new owner, and I trust the new owners will not follow in the prior owners mistakes. Aside from the bad experience, the cake was the best in the Milwaukee area. We had tastings at a bunch of bakeries around the Milwaukee area and Aggie's was by far the best!

We recently(5/13/20) ordered a graduation cake online from Aggie's. We went to pick it up and there was a mistake on the cake. Someone had gotten our cake. Good thing we had looked at our cake before we left. Happily, they said they would make us a new cake and deliver it to our home, which indeed they did. We decided to use Aggie’s bakery for our wedding cake. I will begin by saying our cake itself was incredible! The tuxedo and red velvet flavors we chose were absolutely amazing. I received so many compliments on the style and design of our cake, all white with large white rosettes. I am so glad I stuck with my design choice after Adam, the sales team member we worked with, told me my design choice was a bad one and wasn’t going to look very good! The first woman we worked with, Abby, was incredibly rude as well and I am not surprised she no longer works there, never letting us know she was leaving and just choosing to ignore our emails. As far as Aggie’s goes, the cake itself was beautiful and tasty, and they did an amazing job! As far as the sales team goes, I wouldn’t recommend them if you are looking for a positive planning experience.

I intended to only buy a couple of pastries when I walked in, and I walked out with over $30 of items. Almost everything was delicious and I was particularly surprised by the cinnamon roll. Often I will find that the cinnamon rolls at different places don't hold up very well and come out dry and barely palatable. These are awesome - soft where they needed to be and the cream cheese frosting was well-blended and not gritty at all. The only complaint that I had was about the lemon bars - they were a bit sweet for my taste as I was looking for a bit more of a lemony bite from the curd. But it was still tasty. Olivia is a GEM! She takes customer service to the next level and encourages her customers to make return visits just because of how pleasant she is.

We went to several places in Milwaukee and Chicago and tasted many wedding cakes but Aggies was by far the best tasting and most reasonably priced. Our overall experience was amazing. They accommodated our delivery request with ease and the cake turned out beautiful. We love Aggie’s! We live in Racine but it’s worth the drive for their cakes. We ordered a chocolate cake with fudge filling for my baby daughter’s first birthday. It was beautifully decorated just as we ordered it and of course delicious. We were able to pick it up on New Years Eve for her party on New Years Day. Even though it was a half sheet cake, people loved it so much they took pieces of cake home with them. We will definitely be ordering cakes from Aggie’s again!

Aggie's is an amazing bakery, with a great South-Milwaukee feel. Our tasting was laid-back and delicious: Deb and her team were very accommodating, friendly, and generous from the beginning. They also allowed us to make changes to our order just a few weeks before the wedding. We also appreciated the quality of their cakes. Everything is baked FRESH for the wedding. We also get a fresh new anniversary cake one year after the wedding, rather than having to freeze the cake top from the wedding day. (Excellent - one less thing to worry about the day after the wedding!) We went with the confetti cake (totally worth the additional charge) with butter cream frosting, and with a sampling of pastries/small desserts. They were all eaten up at the wedding - no one wanted to pass up Aggie's desserts. Would absolutely recommend using Aggie's Cakes for a wedding!

Slightly non-traditional cake for a reception party held after a destination wedding was perfect! We had several tiers made up with blue polka dots (bride's favorite!). We used Aggie's for our March 2019 wedding for our cake and assorted mini desserts. They were amazing! They worked with us to deliver everything to our venue in Fond du Lac, WI. Everything made the trip and looked wonderful! They were the biggest hit - we had absolutely no desserts or cake leftover! They suggested the perfect amount for our 120 guests. We had a small budget (and two different tastes between the two of us) and they helped us choose items that fit within our budget (and we each got the flavors we liked!). Aggie’s was the best. I have been going there for bakery and coffee for a while (I like the local shops the best) and I thought let’s stop in and see what they could do for a cake for our October wedding. Today I picked up 2 dozen lemon raspberry filled cupcakes jumbo size!! After receiving them at 7:00 a.m. I cut one opened and wasn't happy about the amount of filling that was inside it was very little for such a big cupcake. Best wedding cake!!!!!! The cake was delicious, and the presentation was beautiful!!! Delivery was tad early but way better than if they were late. I gave a 4 because they were a little disorganized when I first went to order my cake. I had to follow up several times and go there in person to make sure that I was on their books as I wasn’t getting a call back and no response on my emails to them. I’m not sure if this was due to a change in the owners that were working and running the bakery or if someone quit. But once I went in and spoke directly to the owner/baker I had no other issues. We had a beautiful cake and everyone loved the flavors we chose. I had a hard time getting through when I called after our tasting to change the colors of the flowers and the woman hung up on me by accident I presume because they are very busy. That did make me second guess choosing them but in the end they delivered what I had asked for except one design element was pretty far off. Fortunately I’m pretty chill so it didn’t matter but I would have liked to know in advance they were not going to do it as I wanted them to in the pic I showed. When it came time for delivery they were very punctual and even put the topper on although the contract says they won’t because of liability. They set it up nicely with my confetti around it and they actually took the time to showcase the cake. I was not at the venue when they arrived and set up so I’m glad they took that liberty to make it a beautiful showcase. As I said the cake was amazing tasting and we had leftover cake for several days that continued to taste awesome. Super moist and not overly sweet. I would recommend them.

Ordered my wedding cake from Aggie's. Debbie was amazing to work with. We sat down together and drew images and made notes of what exactly I wanted the cake to look like on my wedding day. The guests seemed to like the flavor of the cake, however I was so, so upset when I saw there was no color to my cake like I requested several times. I had requested, and was expecting to see the elegance of white, and blush tiers to specifically match my wedding colors. However when I did a 'First Look' at the cake, it was all white. No blush. Which made it look very simple.. A few close family members noticed as well and mentioned "Didn't you order some pink to the cake to give it color?". So that was very disappointing. Based on reviews, I see most people are impressed with their Birthday/graduation etc. cakes. It stinks though to screw up a once in a lifetime wedding cake, after sitting down with them 3 times with several very descriptive emails pictures and drawings.

We worked with Aggie's for our wedding cake. Everybody loved the wedding cake, moist and delicious. We met with Debbie and described what we were looking for in our wedding cake while we sampled several varieties; she was helpful and professional and soon sketched out a design. We choose three layers: chocolate fudge with raspberry, yellow with custard and strawberry, chocolate fudge with chocolate mousse. The cake design was as we requested, although it lacked a bit of the free flowing artistic flare that seemed present in some of the examples we were shown. Even with that, the cake looked good and tasted fantastic. We will surely stop in for more sweet treats in the future.

My wedding cake came from Aggie's Cakes and Pastries. The cake was absolutely drop dead gorgeous, and was so delicious! Aggie's provided a generous amount of cake (we actually had the whole bottom tier left over to enjoy at our gift-opening brunch!), and we devoured it! Our cake and the frosting tasted delicious, even better than at our cake tasting when the cake was a little dry and the frosting seemed a little sweet. When it came time for the real thing, the cake was moist and delicious, and the frosting was perfect, not too sweet at all. The cake stayed moist for days, too! My cake had calla lillies made of sugar on it, and they looked so real! We got lots of compliments on the gorgeous design. They worked with me at the bakery to choose how it would look, and everyone there was very friendly and helpful, and not at all pushy. The cost was also very, very reasonable! I have absolutely no complaints and no regrets, and I cannot WAIT to go pick up my 1 year anniversary cake from them next November!

I ordered a birthday cake, chocolate with raspberry filling and chocolate ganache. The cake was very nice. The service was great, everything was good, except for the cake, itself. The filling to cake ratio could have been tripled. The flavor wasn't right because of it. There just wasn't nearly enough raspberry in between. It was such a tiny amount, the cake tasted like pure chocolate. I'll still order form here again, I'll just ask for more cake filling next time. Really nice bakery, though.

Overall a good experience working with Aggie's Cakes. I ordered a wedding cake and a bunch of jumbo and mini cupcakes to go along with it. They were willing to let me pick out a few different flavors for no additional charge. I was a little nervous on the big day when we had to make a trip back for the rest of the mini cupcakes that were missing from the order. My husband didn't check it before leaving but it all worked out. The cake itself with filling is really tasty however the frosting is overwhelming for me personally- way too thick, I know some people prefer this. Also it is a really sweet touch that they give you a free anniversary cake (topper size) on your 1 year anniversary.

We ordered our wedding cake from Aggie's, and it was one of the easiest decisions we made (as far as wedding planning goes)! We wanted a smaller, more detailed cake for our bridal party and then served sheet cake to the rest of our guests. For the smaller cake, we had a chocolate cake with raspberry filling, and the sheet cake was marble cake with the classic buttercream. The cake was moist, light, and the flavor of the raspberry and chocolate melded so well together! As someone else said, the price for their cakes are competitive. This is probably the highest quality cake you will find for what they charge, and the cake is darn good. We worked with Debbie through the whole process, and she made it stress-free for us. She was quick to respond to any questions I had via email, which was greatly appreciated. If you're searching for a place to buy a delicious, high quality wedding cake while also not going completely broke, this is the place to go. You won't regret it!

We ordered a simple 8” cake from their website (in-store from their kiosk), it was a white cake with lemon filling. We had ordered a cake for our wedding in July 2019. Our guests really liked the cake and we thought they were amazing during our tasting. A couple things that disappointed us was when we initially were looking for a cake vendor we stopped in to inquiry about wedding cakes. It was my birthday so my husband and I had the day off so we thought it was a good time to stop in. When asking the lady about wedding cakes. She replied a little snotty saying do you have an appointment? I didnt think so because the appointment would be with me and i don't have any today. Then she had us book an appointment online using there tablet. She could have just nicely explained that we need an appointment. She was nicer during our tasting. The second issue we had was on our wedding day when I got to the venue I found out there was no cake. The venue manager eventually found it. It was delivered to the wrong hall. Not sure why it was delivered to the other hall. The venue manager said no came to find anyone and ask where to put the cake. Not something a bride wants to deal with 1 hour before she gets married. Hopefully they worked those kinks out. Cakes are delicious and so are the cupcakes!

The cake I purchased for my mom's birthday was beautiful. Aesthetically it looked great! However, the taste was far from it. It was quite sweet even with whipped cream frosting. The cake was pretty firm, not as moist as I would assume it to be. I opted for the strawberry french cream filling, which was a complete disappointment after cutting into the cake. Definitely not worth the price tag compared to many other cake shops in the area. First time purchased based on reviews. Probably won't be coming back, so my search for a "regular" cake shop continues!

Definitely a 5 star experience starting with the phone call. This was the third cake shop I had tried. I was hoping to get a velvet cake for my girlfriend's birthday, knowing it was such short notice I wasn't very hopeful. After the second call my hopes were cut further. The woman who answered immediately transferred some of her good mood to me as she was very nice. When we arrived we were lucky enough to have her help us. She was very sweet and got us exactly what we needed. We noticed they had quite a few awards and it was impossible to disagree as the baked goods looked amazing. When we got hope we learned everything tasted as good as it looked. We are definitely going back and I'd suggest you should at least try them at least one time.

Overall, I was happy with my experience. We had a bit of a struggle with communication with them (hence 4 stars). We ordered a 6in cutting cake and about 200 cupcakes in various flavors for our wedding. We ended up not getting the 6in cutting cake in the flavor we had ordered (a huge surprise at the cake cutting!). We emailed to let them know afterwards, but that was about all there was. When it came to our one-year anniversary, we made a special request (which they do not normally do) to get our anniversary cake in the flavor we had missed at our wedding. Again, some communication confusion, but they were happy to oblige, and we are satisfied!

Buttercreme! My wife is not a fan of the crunchy sugar in most big store and some other bakery frosting and fillings. This is silky smooth. We got a custom wedding cake that all our guests loved and figured we had spent way more for because of their experiences. We have since been back several times including a birthday cake for our daughter that wowed the parents as much as the kids. Always try to stop in during the events in West Allis as they are a great add to the neighborhood. Great product and customer service.
