The team at Queen City Cupcakes were wonderful to work with for our 2021 wedding. We knew we wanted to share their amazing cupcakes at our wedding far before we were engaged and we can easily say that we made the right choice. They worked with my wife and I to select flavors and choose decorations/colors to fit our autumnal theme. Our guests were very happy to have multiple options for flavors (including gluten-free). We would highly recommend QCC for your wedding or events!

We ordered from Queen City Cupcakes for our wedding and were over the moon with the result! Chelsea was incredible from the start in helping us plan our menu and had great suggestions for flavor pairings. They were even able to help us order specialty items for our GF guests. On our wedding day, the desserts were absolutely stunning. It was difficult for our guests to wait until after dinner to dive in to the cupcakes. They were certainly the focal point of our many displays and our guests raved about the cupcakes for weeks afterwards. We highly recommend ordering from Queen City for your next event!

I can't believe I've taken this long to review this place. I discovered Queen City Cupcakes when I first moved here about a year and a half ago. They are hands down the most delicious, moist, flavorful cupcakes you will ever have the joy to eat. I have tried numerous different flavors, and have never been disappointed with any of them. They have rotating flavors, and their website lists their weekly scheduled flavors so you can see what flavors they have each day, and decide when you want to go in and grab your favorites. Gluten-free options are also available. The cupcakes are bigger than normal cupcakes as well. They also do pre-orders for holidays, and will say in advance the flavors they're going to have. I pre-ordered a bunch of cupcakes for Thanksgiving last year and they were all delightful. Lastly, they have a loyalty stamp card, so for every cupcake you buy, once you fill the card you can get a free cupcake. I've gone through several of those already. If you're in Manchester and looking for something sweet, in my opinion, there's no better place for something quick and delicious. But be warned, they do sell out fast!

Got one of the hands-down best cupcakes I've had in a long time. Everyone is friendly and welcoming and the whole place smells like fresh cupcakes when you walk in. The cupcake selections are great, but (as I've been told) cupcakes will sell out fast if you don't get there soon after opening. The cake itself is really fresh and moist, and the frosting isn't too sweet. Unlike a lot of other cupcake places, Queen City also has a really nice cupcake to frosting ratio which is also really nice.

Great moist and flavorful flavors that make it worth coming back to over and over. Loved the pink lemonade the best because it was light and refreshing. Though, you can't go wrong with any of our other selections of salted caramel, red velvet, almond wedding cake, cookies and cream, or the sundae with a decadent ganache.

This store is really fun. It has great, high quality New England-made items. They have a lot of little potted plants in the front, and household and gift items throughout. In the back is a large selection of Blue Q items. They will gift wrap things and do a beautiful job with that. They also have great service, very friendly and helpful.

This has been my go-to cupcake place for over 6 years now. I have tried all of the other cupcake bakeries around the Manchester/Hookset area and these are by far the best. The cupcakes are HUGE, incredibly flavorful, and affordable. Flavors are innovative and presentation is always pristine. The staff is always so great and enthusiastic. You can really tell that they love what they do which makes supporting them that much more rewarding. Highly suggest trying the red velvet, PB cup and the cookies and cream.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. The cupcakes are too die for!!! I am a very plain jane so the vanilla bean is my favorite. You can't go wrong with any flavor cupcake you get here. By far best cupcakes I've ever had. The price is very reasonable and they give you little cards that they stamp. When you buy a certain amount of cupcakes you get one free, that's great customer service.

Keep the cookies to yourself.. they are green and yellow pertttyy and taste good. Call ahead to place an order. Popping up you are definitely taking your chances but think about it. Ordered a dozen and a half cupcakes for an event on a Sunday. I had to pick up on Saturday because they aren't open on Sundays and I was worried the cupcakes would be dried out by the time we ate them. I was WRONG! The wonderful lady at the shop gave me a bag and instructions for how to store the cupcakes overnight, and they tasted so fresh when we ate them Sunday afternoon. There were a few leftover, one that I ate on Monday, still delicious, and the rest I froze. They freeze so well, I just put them in a Tupperware. I also purchased some of their gluten free/vegan cupcakes for my husband. I tried a bite and honestly couldn't tell they were gluten free or vegan. So moist and delicious! Will definitely shop here again!

This place is amazing! Check out their website to see what flavors they are offering for the week! I called in this morning to reserve a couple of snickers and peanut butter cup cupcakes. They were boxed and waiting for us when we went to pick them up. I also recently bought four dozen cupcakes for my baby shower a couple of weeks ago and they were a hit. All of our guests, especially my 3 year old niece, were really excited about the cupcakes so when we announced dessert everyone jumped up to go pick one out. We thought four dozen might be too many cupcakes but we only had about 6 left over which were delicious over the next few days. My wife and I went in a few weeks before hand to ask questions and customize our order and they were so great. We paid a pretty penny for all of our requests (which were a lot) but you totally get what you pay for at this place. Great customer service! Great family business! We will continue to use them for all of our big events and for a quick cup cake fix every now and then!!

Quite possibly the best cupcake shop in the country. Probably the best cupcakes within 400 miles. Certainly the best cupcakes in New England. I typically make at least one order a week (for the past 5 years) at Queen City Cupcakes and have tried nearly every variety of cupcake (and cookie) they make. The frosting is consistently perfect. The cake is moist and full of flavor, especially the chocolate. The size is generous and the frosting to cake ratio is well balanced. The owners are friendly and accommodating. Personal favorites include: chocolate^2, grasshopper, lemon drop, black forest, peanut butter cookie, and banana cream pie. If you prefer something (a touch) less sweet, a cream cheese frosting variety is typically on the menu every day. The menu rotates daily, so check the website for this week's offerings. Call/order ahead. This place is known to be sold out a few hours after opening.

We ordered 6 dozen cupcakes for our wedding. They were DELICIOUS!!!! They were so helpful with how to store even helping me load my car with them. Everyone asked where we got them because they were so good! Do yourself a favor and have a chocolate covered cherry one... life changing!

Great place with something for everyone. I was able to find some unique gifts for some hard to shop for family members. I also found several items to make a basket for a baby gift! Great selection and truly special/ unique local finds. I will definitely be back soon!

Could not be happier with our decision to work with Queen City! The cupcakes were delicious and absolutely adorable. The set up team made the table look wonderful and was there with plenty of time to set up and be out of the way long before the wedding began. The cupcakes seemed highly priced at the beginning, but when we realized how delicious they are and how smoothly all interactions went with this company, they were worth every penny! They even accommodated with my dietary restrictions and made the bride a gluten free AND vegan cupcake to enjoy! Wonderful!

The cupcakes themselves were very moist but the frosting was very sweet. I bought 3 cupcakes that cost me just over $11 chocolate salted caramel, peanut butter cup and cherry vanilla. The only salted caramel was drizzled on top of the frosting. For the price I would have liked some kind of filling in them. They were decent sized but the frosting was just too sweet.

Queen City Cupcakes catered the cupcakes for our wedding in September 2019. Words cannot fully describe how amazing all these cupcakes are. During the process we worked with Chelsea to try a number of different flavors for our big day, it was nearly impossible to parse it down to 5! Since our wedding was early on Sunday we opted to pick up the cupcakes on Saturday and store them overnight. Chelsea helped up decide which cupcake toppings stay better overnight and also gave us all the items needed and tips on how to store them overnight. These cupcakes were still equally phenomenal when left overnight (or even multiple nights as we found out eating the leftovers for the few days after the wedding!). Queen City Cupcakes also provided the display, wine crates, which made for great photos during the day. The costs were the same regardless of it being a wedding which is not often the case and was very appreciated. We will certainly be returning for more cupcakes!!

This place is amazing!! The cupcakes were beautiful, and I’ve always been reluctant to buy fancy cupcakes because they’re pricey and often times don’t taste very good. These were worth every penny! They were so moist and delicious. I highly recommend you try them!

Queen city cupcakes is a fantastic small business run by a family. They've always been friendly and welcoming when we buy cupcakes from them. If there is any desert I truly love it is apple pie. If I had a choice I would walk right by the pie and take one of there cupcakes. Yes they cost more than what you can get at the local supermarket but they also don't have chemicals in them that you can't pronounce, They are freshly made, creatively flavored and delicious. In short, everyone in my family loves their product and we travel from Virginia, Washington and California to have them.

I love their cupcakes, but live a little ways from their location. So when I got the email this year for a birthday cupcake from them, I was excited to make the trip, especially since I didn’t go last year as I had just had my son. Unfortunately, the one I got ended up ON Granite St. I had completely forgotten that I put on my car while I was getting my son in the car. 😭 The woman behind the counter was extremely nice and understanding when I went back in to tell her what happened. She immediately offered me a new cupcake and I can’t tell you how happy I am that I finally have my cupcake. 😊

I got two vegan chocolate cupcakes and they were amazing! I called ahead to see what vegan options they had for that day and she offered to set the last two aside for me. I'm usually not a big fan of frosting but theirs is so fluffy and not overwhelmingly sweet, it was perfect. I already cannot wait to go back! This is one of the true gems downtown Manchester. The shop is wonderful. with gorgeous, carefully curated products (many locally made!) and the staff is helpful and caring and able to help select just the right gift when needed. Not to mention the gift wrapping is almost too pretty to open! Highly recommended!

Queen City Cupcakes did the cupcakes for our wedding, and all I can say is DELICIOUS! Chelsea was so easy to work with, super personable and helpful. We had four different flavors, all just as good as the others. The only difficult part was choosing which out of their huge list of flavors we wanted!! QCC came the afternoon of the wedding and set all of the cupcakes up on the stands and it looked beautiful. I was a little worried that we would have a ton of cupcakes left over because I got more than I though we needed, but there was not a single one left over! Everyone raved about how delicious they were, including me and my husband! We would absolutely recommend them and will for sure be using them for anything we could possibly need cupcakes for!

I just went today to get a couple of cute things for my mom for Mother's Day. Let me tell you that this store is ADORABLE! So many things are custom, and the entire energy and feeling within it is so vibrant. After I purchased my goodies, the owner asked if I would like for it to be wrapped for free. Even with it being free, this was incredible (Honestly with an offer like that, I'd like a simple gift bag). But she put together a HOMEMADE plastic-wrapped bag tied off with a custom ribbon in a bow.... I mean COME ON. That is super neat. Highly recommend this store to anyone for is looking to for a gift for various occasions, for mothers, fathers, siblings, pets, and so forth. You cannot go to Manchester without stopping in. <3

I have high expectations for cupcakes and Queen City Cupcakes were on POINT! Ordered 3 dozen for my sisters baby shower: Vanilla bean, Cookies and Cream, and Confetti. When I called they proactivley offered to change the frosting colors to match the shower theme and add sprinkles for garnish. So awesome!! And they tasted AMAZING! Even our gests said the vanilla bean was the best they ever had. I picked them up the morning of the shower and they were ready to go on time! Hats off :) So so perfect.
