Naomi TinglerI was told my a friend I had to try Derby Pie while in Kentucky. I explained this to the young lady working and she said they have triple crown pie, so I ordered one. It is very good. The crust is so flaky and delicious.
The store was very busy but moved quickly. Seemed like one of those place where everyone knows everyone.

Sara HumphreyBest donuts in Louisville! I grew up in St. Matthew’s and my mom would get them for us at least once a week. I always loved watching the rotating cake display and have fond memories going to this bakery with both of my grandmothers. Anytime I am back in town, I will always try to stop to get a Plehn’s Bakery donut or two. The last time I was there, there were still two of the same employees working that I remember from at least ~15+ years ago!
Kathryn ConoverOrdered 3 dozen baseball decorated donuts for my sons’s first birthday party! There was one box where a couple of them looked like the frosting had melted but otherwise they all were great! Tasted amazing and turned out really cute!
Overall I was really happy considering I had asked three other places locally to do this and they all said no!
Stephanie HSorry for the bad photos, they don't do the Brownie Supreme justice. It was so delicious! We also picked up some spice cookies and a lemon meringue tart that were amazing.
Chris FlahertyWe ordered a wedding cake a week ago and thought that we were supposed to pick it up on a Friday. The bakery said we had asked to pick it up the following day. They said we could get it a day early and they were able to get it done in two hours. We have been going to this bakery since I was a kid. It's still the best bakery in Louisville.
Allie LemonsAlways love stopping here for sweet treats when we come back to town to visit family and friends. From the oh so fluffy donuts, delicious cookies or the fabulous cakes (Red velvet and simple yellow cakes are family favorites) you can't go wrong! Enjoy!
