I've gotta say, I really enjoyed the texture of their yeast donuts! They are airy, fluffy, moist, and most importantly, not overly sweet! Not to mention, so many outstanding flavors to choose from. (Yea, I can't get enough of this place!) Bonus points: they open 24/7. Also, they do customized donuts. Good for events, birthdays, and even engagement proposals. The only con is the parking! It's located in a fairly small plaza, and it is always super packed. But still, it's a must in Ktown. One of the best in LA! So good!

I absolutely love donuts and the donuts here do not disappoint! I haven't been here in a while due to the parking situation, but it was not as painful as I had thought. Coming around 6:30, there was a short wait and I was able to get my order quickly! Service was great as well despite to deal with endless customers at this busy location. The parking lot is a bit small and you’ll have to find street parking instead if you’re not lucky. Would definitely come back again to try out the other donuts since they look amazing. The panda donut was yummy and the butter pretzel donut was amazing, fluffy and flavorful. This place is also open 24 hours which is a nice bonus to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings at any time.

Great place for big, moist (IkIk, people had this word) quality donuts! They aren't fried up to the point you can taste oil. Great donuts but not at a great price. For 1 dozen donuts, cost was 33 or 43 dollars. But let me tell you, when I served these to the friends and family, they were gone and all eaten! OPEN 24HRS! View the type of selection they have in my photos. -1 for the price, but they don't deserve the minus so I didn't. I know the price or food is ever increasing so it's expected. Fast service. The staff could be a little nicer. Perhaps they were having a bad day. I will totally go again! I recommend this place.

If you’re looking for fluffy, sugary goodness then California Donuts is your spot. I tried their original glazed and cookies & cream donuts. You’re not overwhelmed with sweetness, which is a huge plus for me. The texture of the donut itself was smooth to bite off of. Nice doughy/bready smell inside too. Best part is they’re open 24/7!! :) 10/10

First time trying this donut place. It’s located in a small plaza so I advise parking on the street. Like all donut places, it is super sweet but the difference this shop is unique for is its wide selection of different themed donuts. Classic donuts cost $1.75 while the specialty theme donuts are $2.75 per piece.

Woo! What a fun collection of donuts that are available 24/7!! Such fun creations and classic donuts so you'll find one that resonates with you. Service was friendly and easy to deal with. The parking lot was small, but was lucky enough to snag a spot. I ended up choosing the Twix Donut and it was just what I needed! Twix pieces on top with some extra caramel and chocolate drizzle! Very cute a delish!

Yoo if you like donuts, you know where to go. The sheer number of people that come through at all hours makes sure it keeps the donuts coming out fresh. But I wouldn’t even come for the donuts, I’d come for the croissant sandwiches. Have them warm em up, and you got yourself a solid meal. Their OJ is BOMB.

This place had the best apple fritter I think I've had in a long time if ever. I stumbled upon this place after spending a few hours at Wii spa. This location is much better than the other one around the corner. The variety of donuts is awesome spend about $4 per donut which isn't too bad for what you get. And I would absolutely go back for that apple fritter!!

Some of donuts were pretty good, not all of them we tried. I personally don’t like sugary icing, and I liked how they use white chocolates. Matcha flavor was one of the best I’ve tried for donut topping. (It’s often taste like just sugar with green color at other donut shops.) We always get maple bacon bar when we go to donut shop, and this one was the least favorite :-( The bacon had off smell, so we had to toss it. Boston cream was not so good. But we enjoyed others. Buttermilk donut, apple fritter, crumble donut, matcha strawberry, butter cookie, etc. Great price fancy donuts, but not so good for some basic donuts. Parking is very limited.

I always take friends and family when they come here and it is always a hit. I have been to other locations but they do not compare to this one, FYI! Donuts are always fresh and yummy. Probably not the best donuts in LA but consistent and a fun out of towner experience

Parking: Pretty tight parking lot with few spots available around 9pm. Past 11pm, the lot begins to free up though. Every car lined up had to wait for spots to open up but this kiosk location is very much in-and-out so we only waited 3 min for the next car to leave. Food: Love the donuts here, especially the Asian-inspired flavors like matcha and black sesame. But my ultimate favorites had to be the fruity pebbles log and maple bacon log. These donuts are a great snack to bring to a small gathering!

A large variety of different donuts prices are reasonable. There srinks are good to the match and the vanilla blended latte. The parking is very limited and very small only downside to this place

I tried boba donut from California donuts and I really enjoyed it was better than I expected…. I also was able to order the panda donut which I thought was pretty basic and not worth it… I enjoyed the rest of the donuts they tasted fresh and weren’t too sweet..

I don't live in LA, but every time I visit, I make a point of visiting this place. I love that it's open 24 hours, and even so, there always seems to be a line. The donuts are delicious. My faves are the Reese's and chocolate strawberry.

Open 24 hours, local favorite, delicious creative donuts, like the horchata, the D’oh nut front the simpsons, cronuts, lucky charm donuts, blueberry lemon crumble, all pillowy, soft, chewy and sweet. At peak times they can get quite busy and a line can develop throughout the strip mall. Parking may be doable if nobody is there but at peak times parking could be really tough. They are on postmates. That might be a good option. I love the look of the place it’s a true hole in the wall.

Cali Donuts! Definitely worth their worship, are also a bit too sweet. Although these donuts will not deceive in flavor, some of the glaze can be a bit sweet. I tried the following: Green: Matcha Green Tea Pink: Rosie’s (rose water infused icing) Old Fashioned Chocolate & Mazapán Enjoy!

I am a big fan of this donut shop. They're Blended drinks such as the Taro in the matcha drinks are delicious. I've never tried the coffee. My favorite donut is a panda donut and the blueberry crumble donut. The dough is very soft, it's amazingly soft. Unfortunately the last two or three times that I visited this location was at the early morning time abou 3 to 4 am. And the same worker continues to just display a careless attitude towards any requests that we make. He never wanted to do any Blended drinks, he never had any of our favorite Donuts, such as a specialty Donuts. He only had the basic donuts. And that's fine and all. But what isn't fine is today I went and for the first time ever I noticed there were flies inside of the donut display. This is absolutely foul and disgusting. It's just obvious how much he cares about his job, he seems very impatient and he makes me and my friends not even want to visit this location. We wish that there was another location around Los Angeles. If you do visit this city and want a delicious donut go during the daytime. The daytime workers are very polite and patient, completely opposite from the early morning worker. They have so many different types of donuts and so many different flavors. They're croissants are also amazingly delicious.

So, it's basically normal donuts with a large variety of toppings. I was expecting differences within the flavor of the donuts. Coconut shavings in the batter, or chocolate chips in the batter, etc. The only thing that was different were the lemon filled ones. I've seen other popular places in the southwest, including Texas that incorporates different flavors within the batter, like the cream cheese donuts at Chicago bagels right outside of ft worth. To be fair, the different toppings were very well done, and very colorful and fun and festive. The donuts were good, like any other fresh donut. Perhaps work on something more idealistic than taking a glazed donut and decorating it with what the name of the donut is. Donuts were fresh, soft and the employees were fantastic and quick. It was an overall very pleasant experience, I'd return when I eventually fail on my diet.

This place is better than Voodoo Donuts!! Their decorations are very cute and their donuts taste so yummy! My favorite is the horchata donut! They even had donuts decorated for the 4th of July! The parking isn't very good but there is street parking right next to it. To order you walk up and purchase from the to-go counter.

Their staffs are super efficient! They work so well as a team. They organize the line nicely so they know which customer comes first. OMG!!! They are super adorable & colorful! I wish I can take one of each~ hahaha!! They are very creative how they decorate their donuts. They always have special design for special holidays. Plaza parking lot. California Donuts have really good donuts, but even better croissants. They're open 24 hours, the donuts/croissants are both made fresh daily, and it's a certified LA staple that you should most definitely check out. You may have to wait in line, but don't stress, it moves fast.

The plus outweigh the minus! If you like donuts, this is the spoy. The donuts and service are great. I love that they take credit card. You can do half dozen or full dozen each come with a discount. You can choose from the classic style or signature style donuts. I haven't tried the coffee or other drinks, but the quality and taste for your sweet tooth are spot on. The only minus I had was parking. Small lot and street parking is metered on a very busy 3rd Street.

This donut shop is open 24/7! The donuts are so cute and tasted so good! We got 6 different flavors to try and honestly I didn't have a bad one. My favorite was the panda donut which I think was a cookie and cream flavor. It was very doughy/cake battery.

Aside from the long excruciating line that almost wraps around the building and the long walk due to no available parking. The donuts were presented nicely in displayed cases and offered a large colorful selection. Donuts not seen anywhere else , such as Rose flavored with dried petals, peanut butter and jelly filled donuts and much more. Prices are a little high compared to most, however well worth it.

Late night craving and just plain wanting to explore the city.....ended up at California Donuts. Please don't let the long line or small parking lot scare you away! Managed to park and the line went seriously fast in part because the staff at California Donuts run it so effectively. We picked up 6 donuts, an assortment. All of them such yum! Fresh, moist and full of flavor! Personally, I loved the Samoa....saved the lemonade one to enjoy tonight. My boyfriend picked one and I wish I remembered the name of it, it reminded me of a cronut with blueberry and cream cheese flavors going on. Absolutely Heavenly!!! My daughters loved the Panda donuts and how adorable they are!!! 🐼🍩 Definitely will trek out there again!!!

The donuts are good, even their basic glazed donuts are good. The prices are cheap, and if you get their premium donuts they’re still a good value. Big downer, parking is horrible, you better park far or be patient to find close by parking. Or come in the middle of the night, yup, they’re open 24 hours a day.

Open 24-hours with tons of signature donuts. This place, if it isn’t famous yet, sure feels like it is. Located in a small strip mall of stores, this spot is like a light for those with a sugar craving. Iconic panda donuts, unicorn donuts (this is the most expensive one, at $4.50) and all sorts of other donuts - matcha green tea, classic glazed, bear claws, apple fritters, and that Homer Simpson pink donut. DOH! I was thankful they had birthday candles. After grabbing a box of donuts for a friend’s birthday, finding candles here for $1 was the cherry on top. Get bagels here too if you want something other than a sweet treat. Free parking out front, and in the nearby neighborhood.

These donuts are possibly the most adorable things you will ever see- but they are definitely a sugar overload. These are better to bring to a party, to make a statement on a plate, but you will need to cut them in half or smaller and share them so you can taste all the different flavors. You definitely can't house 3-4 of these on your own, like you could with a regular donut. I got a variety- one with fruity pebbles, some bears encrusted with sugar, and a few others. They also served good coffee and thai iced tea (and I even got a tote bag because it was so darn adorable!). Overall, they have the look and make a statement- but the ones that are bears (the sugar ones that are all sparkles) are a bit to sweet for me to house more than one, so if you wan something to eat and enjoy with you coffee- go with ones with less toppings. If it's for a party, grab the cutest things on display and you will be the belle of the ball.

This place is awesome. They have fancy donuts! They have old fashioned donuts that you know and love. They have coffee and none donut breakfast items. This place does get busy and parking is limited. So, make sure you give yourself at least 30 minutes during peak time. The donuts in my picture were for Valentine's Day but the M&Ms are available anytime. Make sure you double check your order when you pay. If you don't tell them know exactly what you want then they may add a donut with nuts!

I've been meaning to stop here forever, but the line has always seemed like 20+ people deep whenever I've tried to go. That's a pretty good sign ... Finally I went, and ordered a few different kinds of donuts in order to evaluate the shop's strengths. If it's important to you too: their old-fashioned style donut texture is somewhere in between a pound cake and a fritter, plus it's sweet with plenty of frosting or glaze. Specialty donuts mostly taste like whatever the toppings are (matcha, peanut butter cup, & Twix in this case). They're pretty uniformly light and fresh. Btw the shop uses a salted creamy peanut butter and I feel like the PB&J variety must be 🔥 Cold brew coffee was good too.

I had the toasted coconut donut and it was really good even though I ate it a day after buying it. The donut reminded me of the Hostess crunch donuts. My husband had the cronut with a strawberry filling. It looked pretty and we thought it would be good. He ate it the next day which may have been a mistake because he didn't get the real experience. It was hard by the time he ate it. Maybe we'll give the cronut another try and that time eat it the same day.

Cute place for special treats and they always make cute new donuts, if you follow them in the gram, they always post the new stuff there. I think they have another location in Hollywood. 24 hour donut service. Parking is limited and can be a pain. Had to park a block away and walk over but was totally worth it. Panda donut and the blueberry crunch were my favorite! Stopped by here during our trip to LA and nearby Korea Town and got a variety of donuts one night. We ate them the next morning and they were still tasty. They have something for everyone and we all found something we liked. I tried a bit of them all and they were all solid donuts, would definitely stop by again if we're in the area.

Super yummy donuts. They always taste fresh and are soft. They have a huge variety of different types of donuts. I had the coconut one and it was truly delicious. Depending on time of the day it might be hard to find a parking spot. The place is open 24 hrs.

Very limited parking but a clean cute shop that had many beautiful doughnuts. I wish some of them were labeled more by flavor but I could have asked what a "unicorn" doughnut was supposed to taste like. I think the beauty of the doughnuts was better than the taste but I would return and do it all over again. Prepare for a sugar rush!

This place rocks! The Panda donut was the absolute BEST!. Kids googled "cool donut shop" and this came up. Very cool place with great selection and good prices. Yum! We went to the location in Little Bangladesh. Parking (pay) on the street is necessary because the 3-4 parking spaces in front of shop are usually filled.

Another staple in LA! There are so many donut places but California Donuts stole my heart and I have visited them on every trip to LA. I swear they’re delicious fresh, still just as good a day old. Delicious and beautiful donuts. They take good social distancing measures too. Only reason I gave 4 stars is they can get pretty expensive for the specialty donuts. Paid almost $40 for a dozen donuts and they weren't all specialty donuts either. Definitely a once in a blue moon kinda treat for us.

Very good experience here at 3am Don't get the Snickers one, way too sweet. Other than that; the cream pie, buttermilk,blueberry toast crunch and others were really delectable. Be warned, it's so so decadent. Don't overdue it or the food coma will surely follow. Enjoy the goodness.

These doughnuts aren't like any other I've tasted. They were so soft and airy, but full of favor! I love looking for the best apple fritters, which theirs may just be my favorite; each piece as I pulled it away and tossed in my mouth had a light crunch and good flavor. Mmmhh, smh, mmhh. The matcha one was my husband favorite. So glad we're from out of town, otherwise we'd be in trouble.

These are not just ordinary donuts, this is like top of the line. There is always a little wait but I've never waited more than 7 minutes to buy some. This is easily one of the best doughnut shops in LA. It is a must visit! This is the only location though! All other "California Doughnuts" do not relate to this location. There is a huge selection here and it is all great! They have the option of warm doughnuts that just melt in your mouth. The highest quality doughnuts I have had are from here. Very Impressed and their specialties are great, but the simple regular doughnuts do the job! No need to pay triple to get a panda doughnut unless you need it for selfie purposes.

The blueberry cake donut is the best one out of the selection that I’ve got. I was slightly disappointed with the matcha donuts as the matcha flavor lacked significantly. Other than that, the other donuts were also very delicious but the blueberry cake stood out the most as the blueberry flavor was strong while the donut itself was not overwhelmingly sweet. The texture of their donuts are moist and soft and their service was very fast.

One of the most famous donut stops you can check out in LA. They're open 24 hours a day, and for good reason. A wide selection of donuts and other baked goodies you might crave if you have that late night sweet tooth. Their specialty donuts cost a little more, but, you cant go wrong with their original and no so original. Green tea donuts are my absolute favorite!

The flavors/ options are amazing, but also the base of the doughnut is perfect on its own (a nice light yeast doughnut). The De La Rosa (peanut marzipan) was so good, it reminded me of Brazilian paçoca crumbled on top. Can’t got wrong with the Samosa with chunks of the cookie on top. And the blueberry toaster cereal was also tasty (the most artificially flavored out of the bunch)

These donuts are reminiscent of the ones I've had back in my homeland. I would definitely drive the 30-45 mins to get my fix. There's definitely a more significant amount of signature donuts instead of the classics. Be prepared to pay more than a standard donut dozen at your local shop. There may be a wait, but it's not incredibly long. We waited about 10 minutes. The only thing that took a while was the parking situation. The parking lot is terrible and has about 9 or 10 spots. We went around the block 3 times until we finally landed a spot that no one wanted to park in and required my husband's fine driving to park as it was directly next to a tent the Mexican restaurant has propped up.

These donuts are great, they have so much variety and not your normal donuts. Got the blueberry toast crunch, the marble, and M&M's. They also have other things like croissants and muffins I haven't tried though.

I would always come here after going to shows at Los Globos, they have really good doughnuts to choose from as well as frozen drinks.The M&M Doughnut is my favoirte & the frozen horhata is delicious. The line might be long but it goes by quick. The parking lot is really small and tight so if you're not the one for tight spots i would just say find parking around the street. Maybe a block away theres a Vons, i parked there and walked to get my doughnuts and my car was good, but it's your call whether if you can find parking or not.

Fabulous place. My daughter wanted to check this place out because all of her youtube channels go here. With all the crazy options I assumed this would just be a novelty place....NOPE. These are the best donuts I've ever had. I've been following California donuts on Instagram for over a year now. And I've always said I absolutely have to go to this place one day. Well that day finally came. I was in LA with a friend and we had just got done eating ice cream and we were driving around not going any where in particular when we drove right past. And I literally made him turn around so we could get donuts. I ordered a dozen because who comes here to just get like 1 or 2?? Maybe if I lived in LA and not an hour away I would do that but no I needed to try them all. By far the strawberry donut is my absolute favorite. The matcha green tea donut is bomb. The toasted coconut donut. Yummy. The snickers donut. Come on can not go wrong with snickers anything. My friend loved the oreo donut. We got so many I cant remember them all but these donuts are definitely worth it. And the best part of it all they dont have that nasty film taste you get in your mouth after you donuts because why I'm sure they actually use fresh oil when cooking the donuts. I dont know what they do all I know is they make amazing donuts

First time to California Donuts, and I was not disappointed. The donuts are unique and tasty. The presentation of the donuts were visually stimulating. My go to donut shop anytime I'm in L.A. Expect a line though since I think nearly everyone in Los Angeles must feel the same... Not to bad though, usually I find about a 10min. wait. As soon as you bite into one of these gourmet pieces of fried dough you will want to get back in that line for more! My favorites: the fruity pebbles, the chocolate strawberry, and the creme brulee. I will never go to Winchells or another rinky dink donut shop again! California Donuts has a high turnover rate, so they are constantly making donuts and putting them out throughout the day. So therefore the donuts are always FRESH. I appreciate that because there is nothing worse than a stale/ Undercooked donut (like Winchells). These are the most creative and innovative donuts In Los Angeles in my opinion.

The donuts here are so good there's so many awesome flavors. I had the cookies and cream and maple bacon and they were both so good. I really wanna go back to try all their other donuts. A bit pricey but it's what's to be expected when you get a nice gourmet donut. The line was not super long but we went at like 11 PM on a weekday so there's that. Must try if you're in Korea town!

Their Croissants are always on point in the morning. -1 star for their lack of customer service although they did everything perfectly they just seemed so overworked so they seem almost zombielike. However I am a frequent customer so would love to give 5 stars soon if this changes. This place is a Los Angeles gem! Gourmet donuts in incredible flavors! And reasonably priced! Best donut on the planet! I am a throat cancer survivor who’s taste buds were affected by radiation. Long story short, my new taste buds find artificial ingredients and bad tastes extremely intense. I recently bought a couple donuts from a chain store, I had to throw them away because of the artificial taste and nasty oil they were fried in. These donuts are clean and fresh! My favorite new place to enjoy! Word to the owners “ Don’t ever change your quality ingredients and preparation! Definitely you have the market and the recipes for success!” I’m 68 and this is the best donut I have had in my life! I’m addicted and so happy I tried your product! I even plan to take some to friends out of state when I visit!

I tried this place for the first time yesterday and I must say that I love this donut shop! I tried their regular glazed donut (which, according to my spouse, is an indicator of how good a donut shop is), a cinnamon roll, and a strawberry chocolate donut. They all were absolutely tasty and decently priced. My spouse thinks that the reason they're so good is the dough. I highly recommend this place, especially the chocolate strawberry donut. (I wish I posted a picture of it, but I ate it too quickly.) The parking lot is tiny, so be prepared to wait or park far.

I went here for the very first time in the morning to try out their donuts since I always see many people lined up during evening hours. Damnnnnnnnn. Their donuts are so freakin goodddd! I think these are the best donuts I've eaten so far. Just on one bite, you can already feel the soft texture, sweetness, and flavor. I was really taken aback. The staffs were really friendly as well. Small batch donuts made throughout the day at a shop open 24/7/365? Yes please! You can't go wrong with a California Donut any time of the day. The Snickers bar consists on a standard bar top with half peanuts and half chocolate chips...stuffed with a full sized Snickers bar inside! The Reeses donut is stuffed with enough peanut for the donut and a pb&j sandwich. These two donuts have never let me down in over 10 years.

it's like 11pm and there was a big line so I said " what do they have in those donuts? must be like crack or something lol" definitely didn't disappoint. coffee is great. I've only started on the warm ham and cheese which is pretty good good lot of Ham lot o cheese... I did try the glazed donut and it tastes like a funnel cake with powdered sugar that you get at the fair👍... Not being a fan of donuts, I highly recommend: Breakfast croissant, Swiss Cheese croissant, Jalapeno Cheese croissant, and the Mango-Passion Fruit drink. Parking is a challenge unless it's very late; I recommend parking temporarily at the larger chain grocery stores nearby and walking over once your done at the stores. Ideal place for people who prefer coffee especially since its open 24 hours.

A great place to get donuts. They offer some unique donuts like the Maple Bacon, Matcha, and the Panda. The store is open 24/7 so if you are craving donuts late at night this is the place to go. You will probably find a line when you visit. The only downside is the parking. There are only a few spaces in the shopping center which is shared by other businesses.

California Donuts are the BEST. I've broken ketosis with their gems on a few occasions, lol. The Horchata Donut for example is really good--perfectly fluffy and delicious! I appreciate that they try to incorporate flavors that are beloved by our eclectic community. One of my favorite donut shops in all of LA my favorite donut is the reese's peanut butter donut but fyi you will need milk or something to help wash down that pb. This was our first time here and we absolutely loved it. Kids were ecstatic and this was even before the sugar rush kicked in. The donuts were absolutely beautiful and yummy (would love little bit more cream though in Bavarian cream ones) They were some really cute and unique ones, like panda and unicorn. That's why the price ranged from $2.50 to $3.50 per donut. Little expensive for a donut? But hey, - priceless when you see how your kids eyes lit up. Also, the way donuts were decorated were just awesome. The shop was little bit far from me, but I promised my nieces that we will be coming back for every holiday to get more seasonal decorated donuts. Don't tell them, but I can't wait for the Christmas donuts - yay!!! Plus, they had smoothies and slashes that helped washing down the cutesy deliciousness. Would strongly recommend to try this place out, have a unicorn donut and a magical day.

First time here - wonderful selection of donuts. Got a maple bacon croissant donut and was tasty. They serve the donuts outside the front facing glass counter which is convenient as I travel by bike and there is little bike parking to be found. Parking itself is limited and I could see it difficult if I came at a busier time. Others seem to like it as well as the last few times I have past by there were always a small line at the counter. Great place for a quick donut fix.

I love the specialty Donuts they have there. And the chocolate croissant is my favorite. I always get the donut holes chocolate croissant because even though I'm skinny there's an inner fat person in me and it tells me sometimes that I need to eat donuts. CA Donuts Perhaps I just got lucky and got a good batch of donuts, but I enjoyed every single one of it! Like everyone else said, the actual store was more of a "pick and choose then pay at the window" kind of establishment. I chose a half dozen donuts with an order of cream puffs for a total of about $15. I figured for the specialty donuts it was quite a fair price. Pros: cute, relatively cheap, and very tasty. Cons: they only bake certain donuts during each time so try to call ahead to make sure you don't drive there expecting to buy a matcha green tea donut and they don't have any made (learned that the hard way!)

Of all the donut shops I’ve tried all around the USA, California donuts is by far the freshest and most delicious donuts I’ve ever had. I used to live a few blocks away from here and I miss it so much. If you’re in LA, specifically Koreatown, you HAVE to drop by for some donuts. The panda bear had Oreo cookie ears and Oreo cookie cream filling. The fruity pebbles is so soft that you’d think it’s cream filled! And how could I forget the blueberry toast crunch. I understand the hype, and the donut hype train, but these donuts are alright. Snickers donut is a fav. Their turkey cheese and jalapeno croissant is amazing as well. Make sure you get it warmed up by them. Its my go to spot for late night ice green tea or coffee and its pretty local. Parking can be a pain during rush hours but late night is no problem for me so far. Note, there is one line just for drinks so you can skip the wait if you just want drinks.

WHAT DID I GET: A blueberry muffin, a jalapeno and ham/cheese croissant, and half a dozen assorted donuts. HOW WAS IT: I ate the croissant and an apple fritter, and both were pretty legit. I mean, it wasn't anything mind-blowing or unique, but it was very good and highly satisfying; it really hit the spot. HOW MUCH DID IT COST: Everything all together cost about a little under $13, which is a pretty good deal considering the amount of baked goods you're getting. WOULD I COME BACK: Yeah, sure. Next time I have another donut craving, this place is at the top of my list. WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO OTHERS: Yeah, you should definitely check this place out at least once. If you have any friends/family visiting from out-of-state or out-of-country, I'd definitely bring them here; this place is very much a part of the 'flavors of LA.'

There's a large glass you have to talk through to put your order in and on the glass it says not to worry that they could hear you but if you're soft spoken like me and it's busy (it's usually busy) then expect to disregard that sign. Other than that the donuts are pretty good. Try to go when it's not busy.

The specialty donuts are unreal. I can't wait to go to California again just because of these donuts. We had the Snickers donut that has a whole Snickers in the middle of a donut! Needless to say that was fantastic but so was the Blueberry Toast Crunch. It's a regular donut with blueberry frosting and Cinnamon Toast Crunch pieces. The D'oh-nut was great for a regular strawberry frosted that looks likes the ones Homer Simpson eats, hence the name. The donuts are fantastic and so are the prices.

People go to this place for one reason- the doughnuts are maybe the cutest food I've ever eaten. We got half dozen and the only one that blew us away taste wise was the Reese's. Otherwise, you can find better tasting, but not better looking, doughnuts elsewhere. The line also moved very slow for a doughnut place. Overall, you definitely need to go here to try it out, but it won't be our weekly doughnut stop.

Over hyped. While it is an experience because of the types of "premium" donuts the long lines and prices eventually wear through the euphoria. If you can get freshly just made donuts, it's like WOW!! Got a freshly made jelly filled one time and it melted in my mouth, haven't been lucky enough to get one since. Feel the drive to get premium donuts (panda...panda, panda, panda) otherwise I don't know why I'm going here. When I do it gets pricey quick at a few dollars a donut. Depending on time of day lines can get pretty bad and parking is scarce. I still say give it a try and if any of my downsides don't bother you I'm sure you'll like it.

Such a cute little spot. Donuts were good, but I especially liked the Blueberry muffin that I got. Will definetly be back for more. I found a parking spot down the stree without any problem, and I showed up on a Friday afternoon and there wasnt a long line.

Donuts for days (#DonutsForDays in this time and age). Well, that's what I was saying after literally asking for every single donut they had (and pissing off everyone who was behind me in line). It was 2:30am and this was probably our third attempt to come here in the wee hours of the night and surprisingly the line wasn't as long as it usually is. I had my eyes set on a handful of items but I usually let my stomach make all the decisions. The presentation of the donuts were quite nice. And the concoctions were interesting as well (oreo panda, snickers bar inside donut bar, etc). But I have to say the actual taste of the donuts were just so-so. Just a typical donut you'd expect from any donut shop. Spent $42 on two dozen donuts, which isn't too bad compared to all these other "gourmet, handcrafted" donut joints popping up all over SoCal. But a regular hole-in-the-wall donut joint is pretty much the same at just half the price. Would I come back? Probably not. But great job on branding and marketing the hell out of this donut business! The hype never seems to die despite how long it has been since people have been ranting and raving about it.

Really like this spot. Everytime Im in Korea town I pass by and I love the fact that its open 24hrs so i can pass by whenever I want. Its the first place I saw cereal on donuts and the combination makes a great sweet taste. I recommend it for people that like sweets, buy two, and they have good Thai tea as well. Cant wait to see what donuts they have for the holidays. Warning, paking can be difficult and lines can be long. Bring extra cash cus they cost more than basic donuts, but they do accept card.

Really good. Line was a bit long so would not go prime time in the morning. People also order like 3 dozen at a time: turnover very long. I tried the matcha cake, matcha yeast and maple bar. I liked matcha yeast best. I will be back for sure. 24 hours damn

Excellent doughnuts--dense and outrageous amounts of filling. Pricey, though, for the specialty doughnuts ($2-$3, and they are not clearly marked in the display). The client experience, however, leaves much to be desired. You line up in front of a display window outside the shop (like a drive through, but you're on foot) and have to communicate with the employee on the other side. They cannot hear you, so it's all by pointing. You then wait for your order to get to a cashier. It's not very efficient.

Pretty over hyped and more about the looks than the taste. All the non traditional donuts have same cake base just with different icings and toppings on top. My personal favorites were the donuts with oreos and the blueberry cinnamon toast crunch. The lucky charms one was kind of gross just because the cereal is so sugary and stale. The fruit loops were stale as well so I would go with a non-cereal donut unless they had just been re-stocked. Parking here is a butt and you'll probably have to park in the surrounding neighborhood or at the market next to the store. The line had about ten people in it when I went but it moves quickly. You order by pointing at what you want through a glass window and then paying at the register, where you can also get smoothies, thai tea, or lemonade. This is more of a one-time visit place just to check it out, I won't be coming back.

This place is like Portland's Voodoo Doughnuts, except it's been around much longer and is about 10x better! The doughnuts (yes, even the cereal ones!) taste fresh and yummy, as opposed to stale and soggy. They have a variety of cute creative wild doughnuts and all the classics. Pricing actually isn't horrible. I do wish they had some sort of window where you choose your doughnuts, though, because you can't speak to the employees choosing them and just have to point and mouth words through a glass barrier. Overall though, this place is great fun! There was a pretty long line but it was less than a 10 minute wait for sure, and totally worth it.

They have a walk up window or you can order in front of the donuts (they can hear you through the glass) It was my first time I ordered the Reeces, banana/nutella cronut??? White chocolate strawberry, & the Mexican one with the tamarind candy on top😀 The only one out of those I'd return for is the Reeces it's filled with real peanut butter💗 the banana one would be better if they didn't put chocolate icing + Nutella inside I think it'd taste better with straight Nutella Also there was no line👍

Always open for whenever you crave something, they also got boba drinks. Have been coming here for 15+ years. Only issue is now they are so popular you got to get there at the right time or youl most likely find a long line to wait behind!

I custom ordered donuts for a birthday at work. There was an issue with the pick up date that was completely my fault, but they were so accommodating and were so nice about it. Picked up the donuts this morning and everyone at work loved them. Thanks California Donuts!

Great donut place with no parking! You'll have to park at the nearby grocery stores about a block away, Vons and Ralphs. We got a dozen donuts coming out to a total of $16 due a to a couple specialty donuts. The only donut that I did not like and will never get again is the Snickers Donut, it is $3 and has some weird flavor added that does not mesh well, I think a coffee cream is added? The classic donuts are all good - boston creme, glazed, homer simpson donut. My personal favorite was the blueberry cake donut, classic old fashioned taste! Lines can get long, but they are pretty fast with usually 3 people taking orders and 2 people cashing customers out.

Its fun - open 24 hrs - parking can be a hassle but if your lucky enough there's a person leaving right as u pull into the tiny plaza - parking will also be easier at various times of the day - I recommend the m&m donut !

Donuts and other related items made 24 hours a day. The "cronut" is a croissant donut, which is one of their specialty items. Seasonal donuts are available at times with decorations, for example Easter with a bunny . If you don't see it ask them, if they will make it.

The doughnuts are beautiful, but for the most part, it's all hype. Nothing special. All they are is average doughnuts dipped is cereal. The lines are way too long but the staff are friendly. I still prefer Krispy Kreme.

This place is the place for doughnuts. They have oreo panda. Bacon doughnut. Fruity pebbles, snickers, and a whole lot more variety. Be prepared to look for parking as the parking lot they are in is small. Depending on the time you show up the wait may be long. No more than 20 minutes. The staff is very helpful. All you doughnut lovers make a still here.

Rude rude and did I mention ruditude.? Well...I cannot stress enough how disappointedly nasty and rude the employees are ....one woman in particular. I've been twice in the last couple weeks and both times I was met with blank stares and attitude. The product isn't anything special I promise there is better further west with less drama and a shorter line...which isn't any indication of how busy they are but clearly tells they are more efficient in expediting their product with smiles😏

8x8 croissant donut!!! Prolly the most unique donut I've seen (they have one sandwiched with pumpkin spice ice cream... Omg). I got one with banana and Nutella topped with cinnamon for a birthday. Parking: Really sucks. Best to come here with another person (one will wait in the car while the other gets the donuts/"cronuts"). Unlike the other donut shop, their "cronuts" are worth the price because they're bigger and they have 12 kinds to choose from. My favorite one is the glazed donut. The owner: Family owned. She loves to get creative with her donuts. Find them on Instagram and you'll see what I mean :) Another cute one they make are Mickey and Minnie donuts. TIP: Show up early for some fresh baked donuts! Or call in advance to see what they have. There's always a line and there might be a wait in the morning. 8x8 "cronut" needs to be ordered at least a day in advance. Random: Anthony Bourdain was there for the 24hour layover ktown show. Unfortunately, they didn't make the cut...but sizzler and jolibee did... Which I don't understand.

Haven’t been since prior to covid but this place was great minus the long lines but I would drive 30 miles away every once in a while because it was worth it . Go with a friend or two her dropped off and then get picked up most of the time their no parking for a few blocks to a mile
