Reviews of Pipeline Bakeshop & Creamery
Topher B
Very good, hot, fresh, made-to-order malasadas. Generous sugar coverage too. Have lots of other options that I’ve yet to sample, keep meaning to, but hard to avoid the staple. Hard to find a better version of the baked good on the island. Street parking, they do have pick-up services, and even on walk-in are taking great covid pre-cautions in having patrons waiting outside for their orders.

Really cute shop with delicious malasadas! I'm glad I changed my mind and ordered a full one for myself instead of splitting with husband. I got the cinnamon one and he got the classic. We both practically inhaled ours! Cute shop with their dog mascots on their signs and also very friendly staff. Will come back in the future!

I had a cinnamon sugar dusted malasado, coffee and this pumpkin bar with whipped soy cream. Everything was great! The malasado though...omg. so soft warm and melted in my mouth. I originally went to another well known spot but the line was so long and parking ridiculous. I Google nearest malasado that had a good rating and that's how I found this place. So glad I did.
Lindsey Itamoto
Best Malasada on the island. I almost don't want to write this review so that it can be kept a secret 🤫🤫🤫.
The plain Malasada and the li hing Malasada are a must try!
The bread pudding is pretty amazing too.
The only tough thing about pipeline bakery is the lack of parking. There are 2 or 3 stalls along Waialae Ave (main road) heading West/South bound but otherwise you have to find parking elsewhere and walk.

My favorite malasadas that I found on a recent trip to Oahu - I didn't try the ice cream filled ones, but the unfilled malasadas were fried perfectly and had an amazing texture and light fluffy dough.
The real star of the show, however, was their banana bread. Oh. My. God. Get it.
Lina L
You must make a stop here if you are in the area. The hot malasadas were better than Leonard’s in my opinion. The homemade strawberry ice cream was excellent. I also tried the banana bread with chocolate chips which had good banana flavor but probably would have been better warm. The peanut butter cookie was tasty as was the energy bar which was more like a rice crispy treat. The cake bomb was lemony without being too much so and very moist. Went twice during my stay so far and will probably return again tonight.

They make the malasadas to order so it does take a while to get them (we waited about 5 minutes). The malasadas were pretty good though. We also tried a focaccia with tomato and mushroom. The flavors were good but the bread itself was a little mushy. We’ll probably stop by here again and try the ube bites.
Hunter Smith
Absolute best malasadas on island. Fresh made to order. Absolutely beats the other famous shop in town. Pipeline has the perfect balance of sugar and not greasy at all. These things tasted great the day after even! Can’t say enough good things. The rest of the pastry’s and stuff were great too. Pumpkin bar could have been a little stronger flavored for me. But please go try this local place. They rock.
Justine LaLa Story
The best Malasadas in town!
I’ve tried many kind of malasadas from popular establishments before. I’ve always wondered what made the certain place so popular over another but I couldn’t figure out why as I couldn’t tell the difference until I tried this place.
The texture and taste are different at this place for sure. I’d chose the original one. Other flavors are available but it it is not the cream inset but different flavor sugar coat.
You can’t go wrong with the original. I will try their gelato next time I go back.
Pang Van
We came in to try their malasadas and they were da bomb! Hot, fresh and huge! Our boys gobbled down two each and if we would have let ours go, they'd have eaten those too. Lots of other pretty desserts but seriously, all we wanted was to fill our bellies with soft, fluffy malasadas. I had one coffee flavored and while it didn't taste tremendously different from the cinnamon, it was very yummy.
Tiko Koreen
A great local spot for once cream and baked treats. The ice cream was nice and rich and was not that over priced for what you get. Not a ton of ice cream options but the flavors that they do have are usually what you want. Parking is challenging but if you can find a spot around the block it's not a far walk. Yum.
Carolina James
Beautiful clean shop. All homemade ice cream. The malasadas are made when ordered. So they’re served hot! A must stop to try them out!
Dan Ladd
This is a great spot for local desserts. The cake bombs, ice cream, malasadas, and cookies are all really solid. If you’re in the area, this is worth the stop.
Kira Lebsack
Really enjoyed the cookies. The oatmeal chocolate chip was amazing. By 3pm the malasadas were sold out unfortunately.
Adrian Mitchell
Tried this little shop. They have some different options between baked goods and icecream. The icecream is a good price. Milkshakes are pricy. Ordered Malamodes. They took 20 minutes to make and are only served them between 2-5 we got there at 1:50 and had to wait. Malamodes were good but just fried dough that covered icecream with a sugar dusting. Only two flavors of of the 12 flavors are available for the Malamodes. It’s a place to go for something different if you have some time to kill.
Sandia NVo
Since the first time trying malasadas, we knew they'd be even better with icey cream!
Well the creative minds of Pipeline Bakeshop now serve malasada ice cream "sandwiches" and it is a treat not to be missed! We decided to stuff our own (since we came too early for that launch on July 1st @7pm) with the chocolate avalanche (which is a kona coffee rocky road) and it was BOMB with my strong Viet ice ca phê (from Broken Rice across the street). Nearly broke da mouth, but we had Koko Head Cafe to enjoy next so we bit slowly and enjoyed fully.
The cake bombs are flavorful, but it is wayy too much icing for us. Super moist cakes and they were nice enough to give me the fattest blueb scone in their tray. We will def be back, maybe for a pint next time and def more baked goodies.
With a nice, clean shop & fresh beachy vibe, what more could a sweet tooth as for?
Maybe more for to-go & don't forget they offer a free malasada with every >$10 purchase! Yes, please! =D
K L
Malasadas here are large, fluffy, hot and tasty. About the same price as Leonard's without the crazy lines. Easy parking in the meter parking lot across the street. I like the regular sugar flavor the best. There are no filled malasadas like at Leonards. The flavored malasadas are just sprinkled on and most of the flavors are too mild.
Lori Gutierrez
Cute bakery and super friendly staff! We ordered a few different items and I will start with the Lililkoi ice tea. We ordered the large for $3.50 and I really wanted to like it, but it didn't have much flavor. The 16oz cup was filled with ice and the tea was poured over the ice, I tasted it right away because I was afraid that after the ice melts the flavor would be diluted (but there wasn't much flavor to begin with and would only give it a 1 star). We also ordered the Malasadas (the sign says they are fresh baked) and they were warm when we walked out of the bake shop. They are similar to the type that you get at Leonard's Bakery. We ate them as soon as we stepped out and found them very tasty.
The last two items we brought home to eat. First the Malasada bread pudding, DELICIOUS (definitely 5 STARS). The gal who helped us said it would be best if it were warm, so we put it in the microwave for 20 seconds (so good).
The last thing we purchased was a Strawberry cake bomb (was not a favorite), will not purchase again. The light colored cake was super soggy and didn't have any flavor, although the light frosting was good, had a hint of strawberry flavor (1 star).
I will go back for the Malasada Bread Pudding and the Malasadas, and look forward to trying some of their other items. (The Lilikoi cream cheese bar, Ube Haupia Mac Nut Bar, and the cookies look really good).
Nikki C
5 stars for the cake bombs, 3 for the malasadas, which were a bit greasy and not as fluffy as others. Skip the malasads here and get the cake bombs. So yummy.
Therese Howe
Great little shop for when that sweet tooth demands to be fed - creative desserts and pastries including a pumpkin crunch that Eater Hawaii said was a must-try dessert. Their sole savory item is a plump “pizza pie” with focaccia; coffee, mochas and lattes also available to enjoy with your treat. Some fun homemade ice cream flavors to try - must come back!
James Chou
First visit. Branding ofLilikoi ceam cheese bar is wonderful, not too sweet. Malamode- ice cream filled malasada is made to order and a must try. Looking forward to another visit soon.
Robert E
Excellent bakeshop. Their malasadas easily beat out the more touristy alternatives. Prices are fair too. Also tried their cake bombs and they're pretty good.
Allison Adlich
Recommended by a waiter at Kokohead Cafe. Fresh and delicious Malasadas with homemade ice cream. Very friendly staff with quick service. Would definitely come back!
James Cage
Hidden spot to visitors but popular for locals. Must try their malasadas - home made in HOT!! And dont miss the ice cream too.
Cristina Choi
Made to order malasadas are excellent. Order them ahead of you will have to wait a bit outside the store.
Rom Cat
Finally got a chance to try this place and boy was it worth it. Tried there malamode which is a malasada with ice cream goodness inside. You can chose your toppings and ice cream. But the strawberry guava cake bomb was the bomb.
Michael Ammann
Best malasadas on the island! Each one will be made fresh for you. Go and try it! It's so delicious. Can highly recommend this place.
Natasha Holmes
My favorite malasada and goodies joint! The ice cream and coffee are good as well and the merch is cute!
Jake Kissack
Malasada is made fresh when you order and the best I've had on island. Beautiful shop with great customer service!
nms
Love their Malasadas but the price went up a bit, and seems like you can only order from a dozen on the phone.
amanda
An absolute MUST if you are in the area. We stumbled across pipeline when we were visiting "the Curb" - a cute little grab-and-go coffee shop just down the street from this bakery. Pipeline apparently shares their treats there sometimes and we sampled a cake bomb there and just had to walk the block back to purchase some more!!! We tried the honeydew melon, lemon, coconut, and matcha flavors and each was unique and flavorful and carefully prepared. We highly recommend!!!!
Sabrina Saiki-Mita
Fresh malasadas (no stale oil here), homemade ice cream, ice cream-filled malasadas, lilikoi cream cheese bars, cake bombs: lemon, chocolate hazelnut, matcha, strawberry to name a few, malasada bread pudding... need I say more? Great desserts anytime. Just go!
Lan Ngo
Don’t get the cake bomb.. even though it’s said to be their best-seller, I find it overly seeet and the cake is just too wet. A bit gross to eat tbh. The malasadas are okay
Charlette/Mack McCoy
I had a wonderful time there today I had a Lilikoi scone and a cup of coffee and maybe the best conversation with the regulars that goes there. Sadly I ate the scone before taking a picture of it which means You have to go and try it?! Now they don't have wifi which means you'll will have a great conversation with whoever is there.
Lito Dequina
Highly recommended bakery & creamery. The malasada, and cake pops were good, but they also have cookies, and the Ube Haupia tart (which is delicious)! Will definitely be back!
Ronya H.
They have a great way to order online and pick up curbside or in the bakery. Everything is so yummy here. This time I just picked up a few things. I can’t wait to go back!
Lisa Brothers
Malasadas are excellent and the malasada bread pudding is even better.
Xavier Minakawa
Our longtime local airbnb host recommended Pipeline, and we will never go back to Leonard's again! You can order online for Pipeline's malasadas and other food, so save yourself the long lines at Leonard's, order ahead, and take the short drive to the Kaimuki neighborhood. We thought Pipeline's malasada's were way less oily, more puffy, and their haupia ice cream was amazing.
Eldon Ngo
Nice little shop for desserts and sweets. Forgot to try their malasada but we tried other treats. Everything was tasty but nothing too amazing.
Kauahi Perez
I can never make up my mind when I stop into this place. Everything looks scrumptious! And, so far, mostly everything I've tried tasted good. The malasada bread pudding is awesome!
Yao Wong
Modern twists on Hawaiian classics. The malasada here are freshly fried and quite robust, with a dry crumb. Personally, I prefer the more custardy interior of a Leonard's malasada, but to each their own.
Nathan Vomocil
It's very hard to find. You have to go up the ramp to the second story. It's right by the very bright made in Hawaii painting.
The donuts are great. Basically the same vibe as Duck Donuts if you're from the East Coast.
Tanya Philip
De.lic.ious! Best malasadas on island in my opinion. Less crowded than Leonard's and less greasy. Plus they have ice cream and you can even get ice cream INSIDE your malasada!
Scott Van Woudenberg
Best malasadas I've had, period. Made fresh, come out almost too hot to eat immediately, but do it anyway because they are best that way. Light and fluffy on the inside, perfect crust on the outside, coated with cinnamon and sugar (the classic). So good! Ice cream flavors look awesome too, but I didn't try any. Love this place, definitely now on our list of places we go to everytime we come to Oahu!
Gina Ribis
Best malasadas on the island! Definitely better than Leonard's! Light fluffy, absolutely amazing. Cake bombs are delicious too! The flavors are true and not artificial tasting. Absolutely love this shop.
Parking is difficult so plan accordingly.
Faye S
I like their cake bombs especially the guava one :)
Al P
Though I couldn't taste anything because I'm a diabetic, the selection looked gorgeous. The friends that I bought it for said it was delicious. The lady helping me at 8am opening was pleasant and very patient because it was difficult to choose being it was my 1st time there. So many great pastries.
Robin Law
I ordered a couple things today for mothers day online and then once I got there I went in and ordered ice cream for myself. EVERYTHING I ordered was delicious and amazing. So much flavor and excellent quality. Love this place so much will be going back again.
C.C.
Order their cake bombs! Strawberry-guava is my fav so far. The cake itself is very greasy/oily, however the texture and flavor is great. The icing that comes on top really packs the flavor.
William Dale
Best malasadas we had in Oahu. Go Niners! Favorite was the coffee and Li Hing. Li Hing was the perfect combo of sweet and salty.
Mary Keenan
Got a half dozen malasadas and a Lilikoi scone. They were all delicious! It seemed like the difference between the malasada flavors is just which flavor of sugar they use, so there wasn’t much of a difference. I’d recommend just getting the originals, which are marginally cheaper and equally great!
Michael Hew
Great malasadas -- I tried the classic and coffee flavored.
David Han
Hit this place up if you have a sweet tooth! Great selection of malasadas, pastries, and ice cream. I got a couple of the classic and the cocoa malasadas and it was definitely a great way to end dinner. They had a bunch of unique flavored items throughout the store. Definitely would love to come back again if I came back to Honolulu.
Candice Sannella
Pipeline never disappoints! They now have online ordering, and it was seamless. We got the cake bombs, coffee, strawberry guava and lemon. They were delicious! We also got focaccia, they were like mini pizza pies, soo good, and of course, malasada's with sugar coating. They didn't offer filled malasadas but everything else was perfection, so custard filling was not really missed.
Tsai Hannah
Friendly service, malasada is fluffy and delicious.
Ethan Mamiya
Delicious ice cream in baked goods. Everything was fresh and tasted exactly as you would expect from a boutique ice cream shop. Their ice cream filled malasada's are very "interesting", buy I wouldn't order it again. The ambiance of the store is very clean and inviting although seating is limited. Unfortunately prices are relatively high here, and because there's no stand-out item on the menu, I probably won't be going back soon.
Eldon Costanios
Malasadas are so good. You can tell they uss clean oil. The donuts do not taste rancid like Leonards.
Diane Lau
Pipeline Bakeshop & Creamery has made things so easy for me to order online and curbside pickup. We all know how dreadful parking can be, and it allows more people to park and pick up their delicious baked goods quicker. I love ordering online and picking up! Their site is updated daily so you don't have to guess what they have in stock. If in doubt, you can always call.
Rebecca Avery
Good malasadas! I like their dough consistency the best, over Leonard's and Liliha bakery. They do not have any filled varieties though which is too bad.
Christa Lawcock
Recommended as an even better alternative than Leonard's, we went for their famed stuffed malasadas. Due to covid and the requirement to have ovky 3 in the store at a time, they weren't able to make them but the made to order malasadas we got? Delicious!!!!
Daniel Pacheco (Apex_HiTTer)
Awesome little spot. Their pastries are easily the best in Kaimuki, and are definitely one of the best on island, especially their malasadas! I have yet to try the ice cream, but it looks to be delicious!
Solidly recommend if you're looking for a sweet treat!
Max And Kona
The malamodes were fantastic!! Can wait to try my lilikoi cream cheese bar later.
Joni O
FINALLY! I finally made it to a "soft" opening and I must say, I can't wait until their official opening in September. The malasadas are so delicious and there is no after taste like other bakeries. They are not oily. My mom even loved them and she is a malasada critic because she makes Portuguese sweetbread the "old school" way. The owners are very sweet and generous. I ordered a dozen but they snuck in some extra. The scones are delicious. The miniature orange lemon bundt cakes are amazingly moist. I bought just one but should've ordered more. The cookies are chewy and you can taste the butter! I think this will be MY go to spot when they have regular hours. You gotta check them out. Follow them on facebook for sporadic shop hours until their grand opening in September 2016 :)
Lorraine Pai
Loved the cookies. Crispy and tasty. Wished they had premade malasadas would have tried those. But would have had to order ahead. Don't understand why when they ship donuts through Goldbelly.
Jack Lui
I come here just for the best malasadas on the island! These are made to order and just the way I like it, fluffy, not oily, and skin is not too soft or crunchy. Free parking in the side lot on Center St.
Gayle Chang
Their blueberry scones are chock full of blueberry and the liikoi scones have just the right amount of tartness and sweetness. Both true winners. Also order the liikoi cheese bar. My mouth waters just thinking about it.
Sony
I discovered this place after I came across an advert indicating that Facebook the shop was giving away free Cakebombs for a special they were doing at the shop. I made a beeline over there, because anything that's "Free99" is speaking my language. I got the birthday cake flavor that day and it was so good, I just had to come back and bring my husband with me. The cake was moist and full of flavor. It was pretty sweet as well. The second time we went, I got the fruity pebbles cakebomb (because, Fruity Pebbles!) and it was good too. Not quite as good as the birthday cake flavor, but I still enjoyed it.
The only con about this place is the lack of parking. We parked in the lot across from Jose's restaurant and it was a Saturday so most of the spots were already full. We got lucky and were able to find a spot, but if you go on a busy day, you might be driving around for a bit.
Eric Tokutani
Ordered the pumpkin crunch treat. About 2/3 of it is thick whipped cream. The bottom portion is pumpkin and a form of crust. So very delicious! Each bite was savory, rich, deep. Very tasty! Quaint, cozy, warm, friendly place! Good vibes.
Maiya C
Great place for desert. Awesome selection of ice cream to include Hauula Heaven, which is vegan. The cake bomb is also soft and tasty. The only thing is Malamode are only served from 2-9pm. All that means is another visit to a great establishment
Jody Underhill
The Malamode is incredible! They must have elves in the back that make this magically delicious treat! I had the Malasada stuffed with coconut ice cream and it was heavenly. I don't know how they do it but it blew me away!
Keoni Keaunui
The BEST malasadas in the state. HANDS DOWN. Trust me. (This started as a dozen classic) 😁😁😁 …
Olivia Malcolm
I ordered a scoop of cookie and cream ice cream and strawberry guava cake bomb for first time and I am impressed! I like to treat myself once in a while and I wanted it to be worth it. I hoped so and I am glad to say it was worth the calories! Thumbs up! I will come back again someday.
Jaime Forman-Lau
Best malasadas on the island, IMO. Fried to order. Love the coffee-sugar flavor. And the lilikoi bars 😍. Lilikoi ice tea is also pretty good, not too sweet. …
Jimmy Fung
Started by a former Leonard's employee this shop had a modern local look and feel. Malasada's are tasty with a higher chew factor than say a yeast or cake donut but less than Kamemeha bakery point donuts. They are all made to order and they have seasonal flavors like their once a year cinnamon. They also have staples like plain sugar, cocoa and Li Hong.
Kai Lee Awaya
We love Pipeline! The cake bombs are awesome. My favorite is the lemon. Malasadas are freshly made to order. It's one of our favorite places to go after dinner anywhere in Kaimuki. The owner is always there and very friendly.
Jayden Tam
Wow. These malasadas are the bomb!
They're fluffy & crispy on the outside... Li Hing Mui. That one is my favorite.
They are a bit pricey & parking is a little less convenient with them in Kaimuki, but I'd splurge anytime for these freshly made pastries!
Morgan Myrmo
How can you not give 5 stars?
The lemon cake bomb is the bomb-deezy. The malasada bread pudding they are known for is okay, wouldn't get it again. they offered to heat it up and nuked it for 30 seconds.. wasn't even warm. Lots of treats there. Fun vibes. Good service.
Iga
Greatest malasadas on this island, can't compare to Leonardos, plain ones are the best, but make sure you try so.ething else like the one with ice cream inside :) there is a great hipster coffee shop right across :)
P Lopez
Best spot on the island it is a must have if you ever visit the
W Wilson
Malasadas are a must order - baked fresh for you. I preferred these over Leonard’s Bakery. Also, the coconut cake was delish.
AngelxChic (AngelxChic)
Cute shop off Waialae in Kaimuki. Had fresh warm sugar malasadas. The pastry is tender and pillowy-soft. I think these are much better than Leonard's. Can't wait to try their other pastries!
Kamu Ela
Malasada's give Leonard's a run for it's money. Although being from Big Island I'm biased and love me son Tex Drive inn malasadas, Pipeline is the closet I can get to the goodness. That being said, their malasda bread pudding is amazing!! I'm impressed by their creativity and menu. This place is a must if you enjoy the ono things in life
Aaron D.
This truly is a unique bakery. They make their own homemade ice cream from scratch on site!! Then incorporate it into their amazingly crafted baked goods. The combination is really a departure from everything else. Touche!!❤️❤️
Clarence Nicola
First time trying Pipelines Malasadas. Good eats. Good service. Line wasnt to Long. Had an Oatmeal Cookie. Would go Back !
Christine Richard
Loved the fact that the masaladas are made to order, other places say fresh but don't come out nice and hot like they do here. Find it inconvienent that they don't have restroom for their customers and when a kid has to go they have to go. The restaurant across the street let my son use the restroom.
Gina Meyer
Made a pre-order for mother's day, POG cake bombs are my favorite!! I also got An Manju, as that's my mom's favorite from small kid time and she complains no one makes it like before. Guess what Mom! Happy Days are here again!! I bought the six pack for part of her mother's day gift and she loved it! She made a comment that it was even better than the one she used to get!! 😀
Canaan Machida
When people say their malasadas are better than Leonard's, believe them. And me.
Rubierose Cacho
Their malasadas are always freshly made, and way better than Leonard's malasadas. So much fluffier and tastier. Best malasadas on the island!!
farrah a
Really ONO malasadas. Made fresh to order. Better than Leonard's! Nice clean shop, friendly staff. The bread pudding is good too....made with their malasadas.
Sarah Johnson
Easily one of my favorite places on Oahu. Everything we had was absolutely amazing! The pumpkin crunch is delicious and the cake bombs are a must have!
Glenn VILORIA
Tried this place and just discovered my new best malasada place. Doesn't shrink nor is it as oily as the other popular place. The value can't be beat. Will definitely return to sample the other goodies
Alejandro Torres
Food was great but staff was def on island time. Waited 20 minutes to order (not hyperbole) with the staff chatting with the one person in front of us with no acknowledgement of our wait. Not worth the trip.
Mark Setliff
Good pastries. Funky smell
Nadine Cho
Freshly made malasadas are light and airy - not greasy! Also try the cake bombs, gigantic cookies, and homemade ice cream!
Kelly Taylor-Aoki
A friend dropped off some of Pipeline's little cakes. So moist & tasty. YOU HAVE TO TRY THEIR STUFF. They are in Kaimuki
Zachary Heller
Great local spot. Love that they use left over malasadas for their malafrozada ice cream! Always fresh and fast.
Emerson Goo
The ice cream is sweeter than death, but it's still excellent.
Rocco Zehnle
Amazing! I’ve been trying all the local places in Kaimuki and Honolulu, and I’ve found that this place consistently has the best malasadas on the island. Beats Leonard’s by a mile!
Alex Sun
Hands down, way better than Leonard's. Growing up, it's always been Leonard's malasadas. It's delicious, it hits the spot & it's a Hawaii staple.
Recently, ventured into Pipeline in Kaimuki. Oh man!! New convert, Pipeline's malasadas are so way better. For one, it's larger than Leonard's. And it's the perfect airy with soft bread texture. The Li Hing is a must have. And I like how they make the drool-causing malasadas when you order it.
Now that I've had Pipeline, I've been visiting nearly every week. I haven't gone down to Kapahulu for Leonard's ever since.
Keep up the good work, Pipeline! Btw.. Can you add more vegan ice cream? The haupia was good but gets too sweet with each spoonful after. Thanks!
Stephany Ogata
Love the icecream and malasadas here. Their baked goods are great too! My personal fave is the lilikoi bar
Sara Looks
i got the pizza focaccia which was a little underbaked. the cake bombs were good, consistency reminded me a bit of a cake pop.
Claire
I think I’ll skip the malasadas next time. But do get the cake bombs!!! It’s very moist, even after couple days!
Alan Chun
Very friendly service and tasty pastries! Good malasadas!
Y Straitz
They serve the best Malasadas in the entire island!! Malasadas from Leobard's bakery is junk compare to Pipeline bakery ones!!
Nasser Al Khalifa
The best Malasadas I have tried so far in Hawaii. I wanted to try the ice-cream sandwich but it was too early for ice-cream.
Wes Lum
Their brownies are the bomb! Their gelato and malasadas are good too. Just tried their maladada breading pudding (warm) ala mode....WOW! Good stuff.
Joyce Martin
Amazingly tasty scones. So far everything we have tried is pretty danged good!
It is dangerous for us, we live only 4 blocks away. =-)
Dario Vielma
excellent service, cozy clean and most of all Malasadas best I ever tasted. Will most definitely will try thier Ice Cream next time.
Yvonne Takehara
Love their strawberry ice cream. Passed on my favorite lemon cake bomb but now I have 2 favorites to consider. Oh no!
Nathaniel Lutes
Great ice cream
Malasadas are the real deal
Coco
Cute bakery in Kaimuki. I’d say they are most known for the malasadas and cake bombs.
Georgina P. Siamani Jones
Went for the creamer, not available when I went. Settled for the malasadas. It's just like Leonard's.
I am a fan of Champions Malasads myself.
Leith Irinaka
Excellent varieties of malasadas, ice cream filled malasadas and other bakery goods. Creative and very onolicious! Highly recommended!
Brogan Begley
The foccacia pizza roll and the scones are quite tasty but a bit pricey. Will have to go back for the ice cream and malasadas
Daniel Usey
Super good and delicious. The staff could be a little more friendly. Felt a little cold towards us.
Reginald Fung
Great little place which has glazed mini cakes and yummy ice cream-if you are wondering about the madasadas- close to agnes or champion and a little
Denser than Lenard's
Free one hour parking behind the theater
Scott Shiigi
Enjoyed the classic malasada and look forward to trying the cakes.
Blu Phone South Korea
Pretty shop. Finding parking is not easy. Li Hing malasada is great! Cake bombs are great too but too expensive...
SooBin Kang
Ice cream was tasty and the girl who rang me up was nice but the guy scooping the ice cream was very short and gave me a look when sampling. I may or may not go back
Reid K
The lilikoi flavor was very good.
Uriah Waldner
The malamode was one of the best desserts we had on the island albeit a pricy one at 6 $.

I've purchased from this bakery almost 2 dozen times and a few times I was served as if I was a nuisance or a threat. I was praising the baked goods of this place to everyone until the reception drove me off.
melissa kenigton
Everything I tried was delicious. Had unique desserts and I love that it is locally owned.

A hipster cake joint. Excellent malasadas, good coffee, and cake bombs. Tons of sugar on the malasada though so be warned!

It is vacant because it is in an area that is difficult to reach from Waikiki compared to Leonards. According to Loco's friend, he prefers this one, but I think it's Leonards. Please eat and compare.
sweet pekoe
Donuts here are delicious
Deep-fried once more for a crispy texture
Leonards if you like soft things
Pipeline if you like crispy things!
I ate original, cinnamon, and chocolate, and everything was fine.

I stopped by for dessert after dinner.
I was looking for malasada, but since I entered the store after 20:00, it was sold out (or rather, I didn't make it late).
By the way, the owner of this restaurant seems to have been the manager of the famous malasada restaurant Leonards.
I switched and ordered another Pipeline specialty, "Cake Bomb".
There were about 8 flavors. Matcha, Strawberry & Guava, Coconut, Chocolate, etc.
It's reasonably priced at $3.50 per piece, but it's quite filling.
When I imagined a donut and ate it, it was surprisingly moist. That's why the bag was heavy when I received it. It didn't have a persistent sweetness, and even though I was full, I ate it all.
They are particular about using local Hawaiian ingredients and do not include any additives, so you can eat with peace of mind.
The inside of the store is clean and the beautiful blue interior is comfortable, and next time I would like to relax in the eat-in space. There is no parking lot, but let's park the car at the pay parking lot on the Coffee Talk side or the coin parking lot next to Goodwill.

The nearby Leonards was very crowded, so I searched for another place that served malasadas and found this place.
Was it about a 20 minute drive from Waikiki? The hustle and bustle of the city is filled with a laid-back atmosphere.
Even so, malasada is delicious, but it's hard to eat. Sprinkle the sugar sprinkled over the surface. I get dirty around my mouth like a child. It's also a fun memory. I want corona to end soon.

The malasadas are fried after you order them, so you can eat freshly fried malasadas whenever you visit. Compared to Leonard's Malasada, I felt that this one was less greasy and easier to eat. Travelers are also grateful for the eat-in space. Since it is a bakery shop, there were breads, pies and muffins besides malasadas. Bought some muffins and pies and they are so-so. Anyway, I recommend the malasada because it is the most delicious.
Yuna Papa (ゆなパパ)
The salad here will let you eat freshly fried! It's warm and fluffy, so it's really delicious! There are many delicious and affordable restaurants in the neighborhood. The store clerk also responded well and became a favorite (^ ^)
Koko Tagu
It's a local among locals, and it's different from that famous malasada, it's fluffy and chewy, and it's crispy on the outside, so he told me not to tell him too much about it. (smile)
I only took two plain and two leehins,
Lihing is sweet dried plum powder.
Sweet and sour and delicious!
I liked this more than plain.
Recommended for those who want to challenge the unique taste of Hawaii.
There is a character with a dog surfing
You can also purchase bags.
I heard that one is the owner. Which one? (smile)

Delicious donuts are freshly fried after each order. The coffee is hand drip, and the ice cream is delicious.
I've stopped by several times after dinner, and it's a popular restaurant that is always full of customers!
H muu
Perfectly delicious! I prefer Leonards. The chewy feeling is amazing. Isn't horse mackerel falling at Leonards in Waikiki? ? Pechanko dashi,,,
Raúl Ramírez-Hernández
Everything is delicious. Sizes are bigger than expected from my experience at other shops.
Delicious everything. Portions are more than good compared to other places I've been.
masa HAGI
I didn't think it was so fluffy and delicious as it was the first malasada I ate 😍I want to go to eat it next in Hawaii! ️
Rika SHIMODA
Freshly fried malasadas ($1.5) are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The coffee ($3.5) is strong and delicious. Local parents and children, grandmothers and grandchildren came to buy ice cream.
Aki SUNFACE
The freshly fried malasadas are crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. It is completely different from the malasada sold at supermarkets.
YASUKO T.
A delicious malasada restaurant. Maybe it's tastier than the famous restaurant ○Nars? It's crispy even when it's cold.
Kie Takahashi
I was so full that I couldn't eat malasadas...
I got the malasada ice cream. When I was at a loss in the showcase, someone who seemed to be a wife said, "You can taste whatever you like." Thank you.
I've never eaten malasada, so I chose malasada ice cream.
When I tasted it, I felt it was super delicious because it was just one spoon, but when I tasted it in a cup, it was quite large, so it was sweet and tough.
There are also a lot of lumps of jerky sugar. Is this the real pleasure of malasada?
I went around 12:00 and it was empty. There was also a Japanese TV crew. Also, there are no restrooms in the store, so don't let the ice cream ruin your stomach!
Next time I want to eat malasadas.
CHIHIRO
There is a one-hour free parking lot on the mountain side.
I ordered malasadas with coffee.
It was crispy around the edges and delicious.
I liked this one better than the Leonards.
The coffee was in the cup, so I had it for about 30 minutes.
I also like ice cream.
T MR
delicious. TV is coming, so it's going to be crowded from now on
zoselfntl
it is delicious. But the service is messy
People who can't speak English are unfriendly.

In general, malasadas become covered with oil and lose their shape after a few hours, but malasadas here seem to be fine in the evening (the ones I bought in the morning), maybe?
Malamode $5.95 only on weekends, ice cream inside malasada.
t m
You can have delicious freshly fried malasadas.
The parking lot is on the left hand side after turning the corner of Bank of Hawaii in front of the store.
SH Park
Malasada's new powerhouse! The staff was friendly and the taste was good, especially the malasada that I bought in the morning and didn't get soggy even if I ate it in the evening!
Take Ishi
After ordering, you can provide freshly fried. It's a paper bag that doesn't close tightly, so be careful not to spill the sugar when you put it in your bag!!
aloha oe hawaii
Crispy on the outside. The inside is dusty. It was delicious the next day too! !
MANNY B
It's delicious!
