It is hard to find allergy friendly donut shops for our family so we are so grateful that this place exists! I also love that you can easily place your order online for pickup. A friend of mine who works in the area told me I should go here. Little shop with a line of about 8 people that goes to the door. The donuts are amazing! They're about half the size of a regular donut and they top them fresh right there. Crispy edge and fluffy interior plus some of the best toppings you'll find. I had Boston cream, cookies and cream, and a death by chocolate. If you haven't had them you would love it.

Two of us went on a Saturday late morning for a donut. When we saw the size, we ordered three each since they were a little bigger than donut holes. They are a little pricey for something so small, but you do get six for the price of five. They were very good, of course, being hot out of the oven. It was busy. We waited 10-15 minutes with four people in front of us. Service was friendly and efficient. Their coffee is very good. Leelanau Roasters breakfast blend.

My first time in here today, and I am sorry I waited so long before going here. They make the donuts fresh as you order. They are actually hot to the touch! And then you pick your toppings. My favorite so far is the lemon raspberry. Amazing!!!

I really enjoyed my first visit here. Friendly, helpful and courteous staff. I got the Maple Bacon and they were amazing. I love how they prepare them fresh and in front of you. And let's be honest nothing beats a freshly made warm donut! The price point is a little up there but not ridiculously so. Will definitely sneak in here again when I'm nearby.

Who doesn't like warm donuts that are made to order! Nice selection of toppings with many classic and custom flavors. The donuts are cake style and are smaller than "normal" donuts. The smaller size is good because you can have more than one! I recommend getting some whenever you can!

It is bonkers how good these donuts are. The rest of the place is so quiet and unassuming that its unexpected for these donuts to be so tasty. Always new combinations, very reasonably priced, someone needs to open a joint coffee shop with them and have a space to read by the fire and it would be true heaven.

Went for the first time and felt like these donuts melted in my mouth! They’re not oversized (so I felt better about myself after eating one knowing I didn’t over eat) and love that they have such a wide range of flavors! So creative, BEST donuts I’ve ever had! I will for sure be back!

Overrated for what it is. The donuts were good but the toppings are minimal for the specialy flavors and they donut to frosting ratio is way too. Too much donut. With that being said, interesting concept - could have been executed better.

Bro's makes fresh-to-order mini donuts. There's lots and lots of options between classics (like glazed or chocolate) and the slightly fancier creative flavors, and literally everything we had was warm and delicious. The place is small, so don't expect to grab a chair and hang out, but don't wait too long before eating because you want them while they're still warm! There's coffee and juice available, but it's pretty standard stuff. The donuts are the focus here, everything else is an afterthought. Expect a line and expect excited children. Everything is visible behind glass, so it's cool to see donuts being made. The kids there were especially transfixed on the donut production process. Overall excellent donuts. It's not meant to replace your standard "pick up a dozen for work" type place. It exists more to show you how good a donut actually can be when freshly prepared with attention to detail. If you like donuts or have kids that like donuts, you gotta check this place out.

Of the half a dozen times we’ve been here we’ve tried over a dozen of their creations and have enjoyed them all. The donut service has always been quick, their creations are fresh, and the prices are reasonable. They do take good care to keep social distancing and maintain a clean shop as well. We think of Bro’s Doughs any time someone mentions donuts.

This shop is amazing! Heard about it from friends who said they were the best donuts ever, so of course we had to try. We were not disappointed! Staff was super friendly and accommodating over the phone and in person. The donuts were phenomenal of course. I don’t think their price point is bad. To be honest I would still be a customer there even if their prices were higher. (I mean even Krispy Kreme donuts are at least $10/dozen and they don’t even compare to Bro’s Doughs). I can’t wait to go back when we can actually dine in and get the true experience. Overall absolutely amazing.

Custom made doughnuts while you wait. Hot from frying, classic dozen choices at $1.25 each and over thirty (or make your own) custom creations choices at $1.50 each. Discounts with 6 and 12 packs. All melt in your mouth cake doughnuts with crispy edges. We picked 3 classic, samoa, cherry cheesecake and maple bacon. Size is bigger than a mini doughnut and smaller than a full size doughnut, but the flavor is amazing!

Probably one of the best doughnuts I have had. They make them fresh in front of you and top them to order. Taking the first bite out of a warm doughnut with the crunchy outside is something that you must experience. They smelled so good, we ended up eating some in the parking lot. Space is a little tight so I would recommend getting there earlier, or ordering ahead.

Hands down the best doughnuts in Michigan! They make the doughnuts right in front of you and top them with delicious ingredients and a friendly smile. It's a fun, fresh environment and great for all ages. Perfect for an after dinner dessert, birthday cake replacement or a weekly conference meeting. These donuts are small but mighty! I picked 6 of the fancy ones and they were still warm after picking them up and driving them home to have with a cup of coffee! The ones with the sweet cream are too delicious (I tried the fruity pebbles and Oreo sweet cream). The dough had just the right amount of crunch in all of the right areas! Yum! Will definitely be back!

Honestly, I don't know how the donuts are here because after looking at them we didn't stay. They're very small donuts, cooked when you arrive according to what you order. I imagine they are delicious but as I said they are very small.

First time visiting this place today and we loved it! Went right before they were closing and the two staff members were so nice and accommodating. I was very impressed with how quick my order was completed for the donuts being freshly made (and I ordered all different flavors). I think price is fair for the quality and variety of flavors you can get. I also LOVE the mini size. Its perfect for if you want to try more than one flavor, and perfect size for kids. Definitely will be coming back!

Love this place! Freshly made little doughnuts, with clever topping combinations. You can get classics like powdered sugar, or frosted if you want. But really, go for the creations! I had Red Eye, Maple Bacon, and French Toast - a breakfast theme. My wife got assorted fruit and creme doughnuts. These are bite-sized treats (well, two or three bites) and might seem pricey. But with the quality and the freshness they are truly well worth it. Ignore the GPS directions that take you behind the D&W off Knapp. Stay on the front side of D&W, Bro's is in the set of shops just beyond, next to the juice bar. Forget the juice! What you need are, and I can't stress this enough, some of Bro's doughnuts. Try it, and see if I'm right. PS: I'm right!

I expected to see a normal donut shop, but when I entered I didn't see any display cases full of donuts. Instead there was 3 display boxes, holding the days offerings for you to choose from. All their donuts are made to order, and frosted, according to your choices while still warm. These are delicious small bites of your favorite toppings, perched on a warm, tasty donut. So glad I found this place.

We'd heard good reports about the doughnuts here, so we dropped by to give them a try. The person helping us was very helpful, and explained that the doughnuts displayed are examples of what they make for your order. They looked wonderful though smallish. She essentially custom makes them according to the ones you choose. She decorates each and you get them still hot. Though they tasted fairly good, we found that since they're made with the same dough they tend to taste the same regardless of how decorated. The one I chose with lemon icing had very little lemon flavor. They are labor intensive to make so I understand the higher than usual cost. If there are other people in front of you, be prepared for a wait. It's an interesting approach but seems to fall short on the flavor side.

The donuts are made fresh, so you're always guaranteed a piping-hot donut. Their flavor selection is phenomenal. My only complaint is that the donuts could be a little bigger for the price you're paying. That said, the freshness and the novelty of watching your donuts being made right in front of you makes it worth the cost.

This place is amazing! I love that the donuts are fresh and hot with a have a huge variety. I also like that the donuts are smaller so you can try different flavors. This is a fantastic idea! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. We live in Georgia, but visit Michigan 2x a year and I am so sad that we can’t go here all the time. This will be one of the things we look forward to when we visit.

Wonderful little donut shop. I love the mini donuts. Yes, getting a custom dozen deliciously fresh donuts made in front of you takes time, but that's what you're paying for. And, it's worth it. I recently moved back to Michigan after being gone for almost 20 years. I have tried donuts from all over the country, but this is the first time I have felt compelled to make a review. By far the best donuts I have had. I tried the Maple Bacon and thought I saw the face of God. Don’t be fooled by their size, they may look small but they are packed with flavor and are quite filling. I implore you to try these donuts and also support a locally owned business.

We were in town from Indiana and looking for a doughnut place. They’re a rare treat for our kids, so we like to get really exceptional doughnuts. We just picked a place from Google maps and it did not disappoint!! Wow - so many flavors, made to order, and served warm. What’s not to love?! I also really like that they’re full of flavor, but not a sickening level of sweet. I’d be in trouble if I didn’t live 2+ hours away 🍩

Pretty good 'nuts. BE ADVISED, you should 100% pre order and expect it to take a while. All donuts are made to order, so just like 3 people in line ahead of you could take 15 to 20 minutes depending on their orders. Also note these are tiny donuts, not the big ones I usually expect. 3-4 bites each. Which makes them kind of pricy at 1.25 for a normal donut, more for fancy. I think I prefer other donut locations, but it's kinda fun to see toppings get added right in front of you, also nice how fresh they are (like minutes old when you take them home)

Loved this place! I called to place an order for pickup and they were very friendly on the phone. Answered all of my random questions and I picked my donuts based on what the best sellers were and I’m so glad I did! Payed by phone and when I went to pick them up everyone was very friendly and they brought them right to my car because I arrived a bit early and mine were quite ready. When they brought them out to me they were so fresh the donuts were still warm and the smells were so good I almost didn’t make it home to share them with my family. :) Thanks for a great visit! Fresh donuts hot off the fryer, can't get any better than these. These are currently the best donuts in Grand Rapids and you need to head there and get you some these delightful delicatessens. The cinnamon swirl was my favorite along with the coffee cake and cinnabro. This place is off the charts amazingly delectable and I will definitely be back for some more donuts soon.

This place was great! The donuts are a great size to have two or three of them. And the huge bonus? They are made when you arrive! You come in, tell them how many donuts and then they start frying them. After that, they top them when hot and ready to eat!

Wow! Some friends and I checked this place out on opening weekend and we were not disappointed! The donuts are fried on a little conveyer belt right in front of you and the toppings are added as you request. Everything was really fresh and I will definitely be back! Ordered a dozen this morning for my daughter's birthday via Door Dash, & they were BAD!! (Bomb A** Doughnuts) 😁 They were amazing! I can't remember the last time I had a fresh fried doughnut. In my opinion, the best fresh doughnut in the city of Grand Rapids! What a way to standout! Get over there and try a dozen, or 2... You're gonna need to get 2, TRUST ME!!

BROdy is the "Bro" Dough! I thought it meant a couple of brothers or friends. My daughter and I stopped the other day so I could treat her and the children she nanny's. Little did I know that Brody makes them fresh for every order! I initially said I'd come back because we had limited time. He assured it only takes a couple of minutes. Yep! He's not kidding! The difficult part was deciding which donuts (a dozen). It's going to be hard to limit my visits, no lie! I am working on how to work this into my personal reward system 😋🍩🏃‍♀️

The doughnuts are above average, but they come with a long wait and a price that borders on unreasonable. The idea is you order a doughnut and they add the toppings in front of you subway sandwich style. Since some of the doughnuts have three or four toppings this means you have to be ready to wait a while to get your food. They use doughnuts that came straight out of the fryer, which sounds cool, but results in sloppy melted frosting and doughnuts that look nothing like the ones on display. Then there's the price. They are mini doughnuts sold at what would be a reasonable price for a full size gourmet doughnut. They aren't bad, in fact they are quite good. To me they're just not worth the time and money.

This is, by far, the best donut place ever. Better than Dunkin, crazier than Krispy Kreme. You will NOT be disappointed. The first thing to love is that the donuts are fresh. I'm not talking like "made 3 hours ago and sitting under a heat lamp" fresh. I'm talking " batter dunked into a river of oil, fried to perfection right before your eyes" fresh! Literally the donuts are made to order right in front of you. Most people would stop reading this here and stop in. But I'm not done yet. What's a donut without toppings? Let me tell you that as awesome as fresh donuts are, having them decorated right there while you watch is a thing of beauty. They have TONS of different types to choose from, or you can just add whatever. I'll leave you with these final three words... DEATH BY CHOCOLATE!

Definately recommend you visit! Bro's Doughs has a great concept- fresh, hot doughnuts customized for you as you order. The doughnuts themselves are light & fluffy, and the toppings are delicious! We got "Death by chocolate" and "Dutch crumble" and thourghly enjoyed them. Hope this little business thrives! *Not a lot of seating, so be prepared for that.

The doughnuts are good, but not worth the price. There are other doughnut shops in the area that charge $0.50 for a full doughnut and have more options. The doughnuts are fresh from the fryer and decorated to order and about the size of a "mini" doughnuts.
