Long story short: this is the best place for churro in town! And even among the Xurro chain - this location is the One to come for a nice service, freshly baked churro and great Atole. Only at this place they have a Flavor of the day menu(other locations don't have that), I strongly recommend trying Apple jam filling ( on Mondays) - this is something really different 👌 Also I suggest you request churro without any sugar coating, in this case it will always be made for order, gonna be hot and crunchy! Plus these guys are making the most tasty Atole I've tried 😋 they have 3 different types! Churro+Atole (with an extra shot of espresso)=heaven 🙏 especially during colder Chicago weather! I've been around most of the places that serve churro in town+ tried multiple locations during my recent visit to Mexico, and the Xurro is my favorite! I've been coming there as often as I can for over 3 years now!

Delicious, Fresh, and tasty! The Mazapan milkshake was so good. A must try. I also ordered some churros and they were so yummy. If in the area give them a try. Staff is friendly too so that’s a plus.

If you're looking for a 🔥🔥 funnel cake, RUN HERE! There is no inside ordering; just a window you order from outside. The weather was nice so that wasn't an issue today. On a colder day, could be a problem. I think they make everything fresh to order because there was a 15-20 min wait for our 3 funnel cakes. Well worth the wait! And we'll definitely be back to try the churros! Pricing is a bit high. I spent $25 for 3 funnel cakes.

Xurro is a restaurant not well known but has amazing food and drinks. You can come here any time of the day to grab a quick dessert or drink (with their main being fried churro's). The cashier was friendly and although there is no dine-in your quick wait time will make up for it.

Only place I know of where the churros are VEGAN! I love going on Mondays to get the apple filled churros. Otherwise can’t go wrong with plain or strawberry! Pineapple is delicious as well. Staff are always friendly

Hands down the best churros. That fact alone is worthy of five stars. My sister and I use to come often when we lived in Pilsen. We just love theChurros. My husband and I went today. Churros are still amazing. He got a Nutella milkshake which was decent. I got cookies and cream shake, which was tasteless, very thin in texture and just terrible. However, I’ll be back to get churros in a heartbeat. I just won’t get a shake.

SPICED MEXICAN HOT CHOCOLATE is a must try!....it is absolutely spicy almost like drinking chai that kinda spicy, with hints of cinnamon, vanilla, and just delicious! Highly recommend trying!! Loved it! Especially on this chilly morning, perfect thing to warm you up. I also tried the Nuez (pecan) Atole and it was thick and delicious, I thought the pecan flavor would be overwhelming but it was very subtle and surprisingly good. I want to try their other atole flavors coco and almond. Ordered 2 dozen of churros, every flavor, and they were fresh, warm, sweet and what I expected! The only reason I docked a star was because I had to call 3x since the person who didn't speak English hung up the phone on me each time I called and she answered. Once I called back a fourth time, Irma or Erma? (not sure) helped me with placing my online order, which I appreciated very much! That was better customer service. Will be returning to try their other Atole flavors and goodies!

Always love stopping here when in the area. My favorite is the Nutella filled churro, shame they only have it on Tuesdays. They should add it to their daily flavor. The funnel cakes are our kids favorite, and never disappoints. I would recommend to stop by and try especially if your have a sweet tooth or just a sweet craving. Pretty small place though so it's more like an order out place.

The caramel is extremely delicious, not a sugar loaded flavor.. basically, you cannot go wrong with anything.. at this particular location, employees were very patient and willing to explain the ingredients which was surprising bc they were at their end of shift.

My personal favorite is the peanut butter churro, it’s sold only on Wednesday and is a total game changer. Their white hot chocolate is like ultra sweet milk but holds a very special place in my heart, reminds me of cold winters during high school ♥️ the peanut butter milkshake is pretty good but I wish it came with a pb churro instead of a plain one. I love this location but after 7 they were absolutely slammed

The price us pretty fair for what you are getting. I think the churros are pretty good, but the service is somewhat slow. To get hot chocolate and a couple churros, I was waiting more than 20 minutes and no one else was in line in front of me. I also have got the s'more churro which is very good but soooooo sweet. If you really enjoy a sugary treat, it is the right option for you.

Family owned churro makers. The best of all makers. I always ask for the mini order. There are quite a few in the order just cut small and thin. I don't eat the large ones that have filling, but if you do you can't go wrong. Outside ordering only through a walk up window .

A bit of a wait (we went Sunday afternoon) so we sat in the car and ordered online. Online ordering from my phone was straightforward and we were able to pick up in 15 minutes. We got filled churros (I liked the cream cheese filling) and a Mexican hot chocolate which was a little too sweet and spicy for my taste but still very good!

I live in the area so I finally tried this place. I can always smell the amazing churros being made every time I walk by. They have a convenient little walk up window to place your order. I got the churro sundae since I have always been enticed by the smells. It was good, perhaps my expectations were a little high. I will be back to try something different, I just wasn't blown away.

Long lines....but worth every second!! From my own experience, the Churros have always been made to order. Warm and satisfying! The delectable banana splits are very well portioned, good for 2-3 people. Compared to other churro and ice cream stands, the prices are great.

super cute neighborhood spot for churros and sweets. There is not much seating indoors at this location, but it's a great stop to pick up treats to go. Staff was patient and kind. Open year round. They serve churros, funnel cake, milkshakes (very rich!), hot chocolate, and sundaes. My favorite is the chocolate churro. There’s no parking lot, so it’s best to visit on foot. There’s a large parking lot for the nearby Walgreens, but I’m not sure if they tow or not. They have several other locations in Chicago and Florida. You can also request a food truck. You can visit their website and complete a form for the food truck. 800 churros for 4 hours is $1,000. They also offer other treats as part of the churro truck for an additional charge. This location also serve coffee. You can visit their website and order ahead of time for easy pickup. Website says they offer catering as well. Flavors are: plain, cream cheese, strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, and they usually have a flavor of the day. You’ll need to call or visit in person to view the flavor of the day. This is a great churro spot, you should visit!

The best in the city. They make it fresh in front of you and have multiple fillings. One special every day. My favorite is the cream cheese and strawberry. I usually get one of each. I'm prediabetic and I still get this regularly, because it's really good. During the pandemic they're only offering takeout and it's card only. No cash. No ice cream either. Just churros. But that's okay as the store is called Xurro!!!

Fresh churros for $1.50ea. Can't really beat it. The coffee is, let's say, Dunkin-ish, but that's not really a knock as no one is going here for the drip or iced coffee. It's a strong compliment to the churro and that's totally reasonable for the setting. Seems like lots of people get the milkshakes but can't comment on that.

Oh my goodness!!!! ¡I love churros! This place has the most delicious plain, chocolate and strawberry churros. Whenever I am in the area for whatever reason, I make it a point to stop here and pick up my favorite delicious sweet treat! I try not to get a mixed dozen, but a dozen is a better value, plus there's more to share!!! They also have other excellent desserts, funnel cake, sundaes, banana splits, mangonadad, iced teas and coffees, horchata, lemonade, strawberry lemonade, ice cream, shakes, smoothies, and bottled water. I love coming to this place anytime I am in town.The churros are freshly made as you order. You can order the churros plain but who wants that?! They have standard chocolate, strawberry, cream cheese fillings. If you are feeling adventurous they do have a surprise flavor each day. My favorite surprise flavors are Nutella (yes Nutella) and Dulce de Leche. If you order Dulce de Leche to go, make sure to lean upright in the car. It gets messy! It is usually packed and very small though. There are a few tables for one to sit at inside but usually are taken up. They have from mexican chocolate to aguas frescas and other beverages. Along with different types if ice creams. There's something for everyone here.

Good churros and chocolate but i thought they closed at 8 pm on sundays. My family and I came to xurro at 7:40pm to get some churros and were greeted at the door by a worker saying that they were closed. Really upsetting, I really wanted a churro. He also said that they had run out of churros... can't they make anymore?

The churro s are great. My only gripe is the fillings are very U.S. Americanized. Traditional Mexican churros are filled with cajeta. The closest filling they have to cajeta is dulce de leche, and even that is available only once a week.

Good churros and chocolate Was left very un happy because they closed at 7:40 instead of 8pm I understand 5 min before closing but 20 min is kind of a big gap of time I would think. I’m not sure if it was the staff who decided to close with still churros to sell but if they actually did run out of churros. My apologies. Although I have come here 5 min before closing and they make the churros right on the spot. Not very good for business to say your out of churros and in fact call it the xurro factory.
