Bagels are amazing and there are plenty of options to choose from. They had a weeklh special apple cheddar bagel and it was one of the best bagels I have had. If you order in store expect to wait 15-20 minutes (there is always a line) so I would recommend ordering online and picking up. Definitely recommend picking up the packs of day old bagels for extremely cheap. They are still pretty good quality.

Fresh and quick bagels here. Not much waiting and very friendly service. They do also pile on the cream cheese. Coffee is also plentiful and fresh. It's hot a nice little eating area but I do recommend take out or online order. It's got a small parking area as part of a mini strip mall but usually no problems finding parking here.

Get lunch here pretty frequently. Have always ordered online, in advance for pickup. I cannot speak to in-person dining, but the takeout experience has been easy and efficient and the food is always ready when I arrive to pick it up. Good lunch spot and good pricing compared to other "similar" establishments in the area.

I do not recommend using the online ordering. Food was ordered online at 10:14 am with an estimated pick up time of 11:10. I arrived to pick up my bagel at 11:10, it is currently 11:35 and I am still waiting for the bagel. I understand being busy but I wish they would turn off the online ordering as I could have ordered a bagel through the line and had it by now!

I grew up and came of age not far from New York's Lower East Side - Ground Zero for the best bagels in the world. I know good bagels and these guys are right up there at the top of the list. Further... Driving by after hours a few weeks ago, these guys actually stopped what they were doing, opened their locked doors and I got some of the best bagels ever... These guys go above and beyond the call of duty... Highly Recommend....

Good reliable bagel spot with chipper, friendly staff, delicious bagels, quick service, and the standard selection of bagel-based breakfast sandwiches. Great for takeout, but plenty of seating if you'd like to eat in.

I have been coming here for breakfast more often now! The bagels are fresh, packed with flavor and delicious! There is a range of prices and bagels for most people’s budgets and they even sell REALLY good cinnamon rolls at the register! Every single bagel I have tried at The Bagel Place has been satisfying and the staff has been very friendly and personable. My personal favorite bagel used to be the chocolate chip bagel (which they have sadly discontinued) with honey walnut cream cheese. Recently, they began giving people the honey walnut cream cheese on the side instead of in the bagel for allergy-related reasons which was understandable but definitely made it more difficult to grab the bagel when I am on the go. Overall though, this is definitely a spot for the foodies out there.

This place is the best, especially Mike and his team. He’s kind, funny, caring, always working with a smile, and leading a whole team of great people to genuinely do the same. I’ve been coming here for three years and I am always so happy to see how much fun the team is having while somehow making a never ending stream of bagel sandwiches at breakneck speeds and somehow getting our orders right every time. I order some complicated sandwiches as well and change it up on the regular. Perfect every time none the less. My family even has a bagel shop back in NYC, so I‘ve seen the pressure that goes into running a busy shop, and these amazing folks are just wonderful every time. 15/10 recommend :D

Had the sweet heat...fresh bagel with fresh ingredients. Just the right amount of heat without being overpowering. Friendly staff and the line moves extremely quickly so don't be discouraged if it looks a little long.

When it comes to bagels, I consider myself a little bit spoiled and perhaps "elitist" - You know, having spent most of my adult life in New York. I have to say, based on my one visit here, The Bagel Place would hold their own against any New York Bagel shop. Now, maybe they were just having a really good day. I don't know, but next time I'm in Burlington, you'll find me having my breakfast here!

Some of the best bagels in Vermont. They have a wide variety of bagel types and cream cheeses, as well as both breakfast and lunch sandwiches and bagels. The staff is always great and it’s always clean. Their baked goods are always delicious as well. Definitely worth it to buy your bagel and go somewhere else to eat as it’s always quite crazy in here. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area if you don’t mind waiting 5-10 minutes for a bagel!

I'm a big fan. Probably my favorite bagel place in the Burlington area. Reasonable prices, especially compared to some, and good flavors. The asiago bagels are totally killer with lots of cheese. The coffee is great. I've always experienced friendly service as well. Pictured is a Baja on asiago with sausage instead of bacon and a 24oz cold brew.

6:30amish for my first visit to The Bagel Place. It was clear they were more focused on the pick up orders, which is fine, but you would think the in person folks would be the focus if only for 20 seconds. Bagel wasn't toasted and it did not have the hard outer shell in which all New York Style should have regardless of toasting or not. They are open at 6am so they do cater to early risers like myself, but not blown away. I'll try pick up next time in hopes to get a toasted bagel...;) Here is a snowman to brighten your day.

They make great bagels and sandwiches. I love the triple double and some of their lunch sandwiches. However, make sure you order online. I was in the store this morning, and there had only been one other customer before me. Many online orders were completed and several other customers that came in after me, before my order was completed 20 minutes later. I wish this was due to the pandemic, but this is always been an issue. Great food, great staff, just need to plan ahead of time if you want to get a bagel before work.

I like to come here on occasion, today I got the sweet heat breakfast sandwich. My only complaint is that the honey sriracha cream cheese had absolutely no spice to it. I don’t anticipate a ton being in Vermont… but it only tasted like honey and I have a low spice tolerance. Over all I like coming here once and a while!

This place is beyond yummy. I swear it beats top notch restaurants. We searched everywhere in Burlington for a December place that offered omelets, pancakes etc. We originally chose a close by place but it was shack like and along wait. We ended up driving out to this place and waited for 10 min in line. I got a pesto veto burger with eggs. My taste buds were on buzzing with taste! Would def recommend and come here again.

Arguably the best bagels around. This has been my go to bagel place for many years but unfortunately it's now become everyone's and they need to get a better handle on their ordering system. If you're getting so many orders that the average wait time is 30 minutes for a bagel, maybe put a limit on online ordering? Or just turn it off on the busiest days like other places do. I've recently started going elsewhere because of how insanely long the wait is.

We have historically loved this place. We would always get a bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel; however, the last 4 times we have been these bagels have been very disappointing. They are not fully cooked and are too doughy. It’s sad but we have now realized we rather get bagels from the grocery store and make our own. Also, the bacon is less thick now which is never a good thing. UPDATE: The owner reached out to me directly so that they could improve. It was a great gesture. We went back and the food was so much better! We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back. The take out vs line process on the weekend was new to us but now that we know how that works and that your order can take a little longer we know what to expect. Would definitely recommend coming here again.

The food is great and all but it is SO much faster if you walk in and order in person. I ordered online and it took an hour for it to be ready. Several people walked in, placed an order, and left before I got my food. At that rate, I wouldn’t bother ordering online at all unless you can afford to be at least half an hour late to wherever you’re going

One of the newer bagel spots in town, but absolutely serving up solid bagels and sammys. I was a die hard BBB / Meyers guy for years, but was pleasantly surprised when I went here on my last visit. Great stuff, but be sure to order ahead or get there early to beat the crowds!

I wanted to update my review from a few days ago. Yes, sometimes the wait is a little longer than anticipated but I know things are crazy all over the world right now. I think that the owner of this restaurant really stands out and wants what’s best for the customers. I still come in and will continue to come dispite the hiccups, I do really love these bagels and have loved watching this business grow through the years.

Love their fresh strawberry cream cheese w/real strawberries! Was there Sat. 9am ordered a dozen & 4 cream cheeses, had to wait 15 mins? It wasn't that crowded. Hadn't been here in a year & I had cash & the sign saying cash only was just in front of the register so I didn't see it until I had ordered so that was a drag. Then they have a container for tips with a bunch of Dollar bills in it! So they can touch that money? The bagels were sadly, a little hard for that time of day, ya can't expect everyone to get there at 7am on a SAT. Aren't you baking all day? I usually love the bagels here, just had to pop them in the microwave to get them a little soft.

Fantastic! Friendly staff and delicious bagels. A dozen day olds are a steal at $2.99. I highly reccomend the sriracha sweet heat bagel. I would include a photo, but it's genuinely so delectable that I always forget to take a picture before I absolutely devour the thing. A must visit for breakfast in Burly.

The bagels are probably the best around, but the waits are awful. Even with only a couple of people in the restaurant, prepare to wait 15 minutes for a bagel with cream cheese to come out. Pre-Covid, this would be a 5 but they lost a lot of their efficiency.

We’ve lived in Vermont for 5 years and The Bagel Place has been our go-to spot since college. Fresh, local ingredients- especially the eggs. Always piping hot every time. Our favorite sandwich is the Taylor ham on a spinach cheddar bagel!

Great place for Bagels, sandwiches, and soup. I was disappointed to see the cashier and one of the food prep persons without masks. The Bagel Place has done such a good job providing a safe environment during the pandemic...it was out of character. All the customers were wearing masks!

I love to travel to Burlington for short gateways with my husband, with friends or even alone. I try to convince myself that I come for beer, but let's face the truth: I come for bagels, especially for The Bagel Place. I just told my husband that for my 30th birthday, this is where I want to eat. Seriously, the bagels are fresh and they have so many options. The service is fast and friendly. A variety of freshly baked bagels are available. Great service. Very popular among the locals, so the standard line is a must. Well-worth the wait, they get your order correct in a timely manner. Definitely coming back when I go back to Vermont (Visited from Los Angeles).

I had a recent visit and ordered a toasted sesame with butter. I received a toasted sesame with cream cheese. Disappointing but the flavor and quality were excellent. I do wish they could streamline their morning process. You might have to wait a minute. If you don't mind golden get over there and get a nice toasted one. Fresh crunchy flavor.

This is, without a doubt, the best bagel place I've ever been to. Bagels are fresh every morning, and the breakfast sandwich options are fantastic. I had the bacon egg and cheese on asiago a couple times since it was so tasty, and then even tried the double triple when I was super hungry. The best one was the pesto eggy special they had recently- with a slice of tomato and bacon. Overall, if you like breakfast and/or you like bagels, this is the place to check out when you come up to Burlington, VT. Oh, and the cherry on top- the coffee is great as well (hot or iced)!

My friend and I went to The Bagel Place a while back, and the bagel sandwiches were everything I wanted. And then on top of that, the baker came out of the back room and gave me a free muffin just for being in the store! This may make it sound like the place was empty and we were the only two customers, but that was not the case. I asked him about it and he said he just liked giving people samples. I also bought some bagels to take home and they were great as well.

Lox and cream cheese on everything bagel. Most thickest delicious lox slices (cold lightly smoked salmon) that I've EVER had on ANY bagel sandwich. Much more the famous chain that starts with a "B". Gray bagel place but it gets quite busy on the weekends, especially mid to late morning. It gets even busier art that time while colleges are inn sessions. Before 9am seems to be a promising time to go. While leaving, go behind back off Moore's and Starbucks where there is a traffic ligh, if you're turning left that is. Otherwise, turning right out of any of the exits its fine.

Delicious bagel sandwhiches. I think it's a bit pricey ( around $7) but it's worth it. Had a cuban sandwich, small coffee and tomato soup (cup) and it was $15. But it is absolutely delicious and the staff is super friendly.
