Line looks long because they just allow one or two groups in at a time so basically everyone you see is everyone waiting in line. The inside isn't also totally full. Don't be discouraged, it's absolutely worth it. Doughnuts are soft and delicious. Coffee is tasty. Everything is hand crafted and DELICIOUS 😋 menu changes monthly to feature what's in season.

Excellent spot if you are vegan and craving sweets. The donuts here are so great, and when I visited I found most of their donuts to be labeled vegan (6+) of all different flavors! Also serves hot and cold coffees, teas, and lemonades. Service was kind and quick, and it looks like street parking is available nearby. A great stop if you’re the southern end of the Beltline!

I have heard that Revolution Donuts are the best in Atlanta, so they had a lot to live up to. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I went around 5pm, but there were only 3 or 4 options of donuts in the store which was kind of a bummer. Luckily, the donut I chose (Raspberry Sprinkle) was delicious! The interior design of the store is also super cute! This place definitely would've gotten 5 stars if only there was a wider range of options!

Wonderful spot for breakfast or a sweet treat. Great assortment of doughnuts with delicious flavors including seasonal options. They all look beautiful and had perfect texture. Coffees and teas are equally delicious and well crafted.

Came here on a rainy Friday morning and ordered a Bacon Caramel Yeast Doughnut and OMG it was more than I could have ever imagined. I am obsessed with doughnuts and have had my share of caramel/maple doughnuts and this one takes the cake. The dough had a great soft texture and slight crispy edge to it. The caramel has this bacon essence which was incredible and totally transported me to my childhood memories of camping. I loved how it had a bacon taste without it having loads of big bacon pieces on top. I also ordered a hot rose cardamom latte with almond milk and it’s simply amazing! Very flavorful, spiced, & comforting. They also had cake doughnuts in addiction to yeast. I was disappointed there was no indoor seating allowed? I wondered over to the Krog street Market and found an indoor seating area. For people wondering about price, Doughnuts had price tiers and mine was $3.50 and small Chai was around $5.

It was really nice. The yeast donuts are big and fluffy. Had the Samoa donut that was really good. Had a Crispy Mister (their version of a croque monsieur), it was kinda ok. Can't really place my finger on what I didn't like. My friend got the blueberry basil and said it was good. They gave me my total for the donuts as if hurrying me along without asking if I wanted a drink. Online they show they do tazo tea on pre-order, but couldn't find it on the board or flavors to pick while in store.

Push through line entrance and exit. Got apple fritter, not much apple in it, but very good and crunchy. Tried a sweet potato pie donut, this was very good. Cafe latte to hydrate. No inside seating and expensive

Went to Revolution after going to a not-so-happy donut place off Moreland by L5P (where I’d gotten a Bavarian-crème-filled bar that tasted like nail polish remover from a woman whose attitude matched). Was excited since I’d heard great things and saw they had a gluten-free option. I appreciate their Covid protocols (Yes I know there are people who would like to pretend that the pandemic is over; it’s not). There was a bit of a line on Sun around 2:30p but only had to wait a few minutes before I was helped. Staff was friendly & efficient. I got the gf cookie dough donut, and it was delicious. Not too sweet, just right. Only cost about $1 more than the disgusting one I’d gotten before and very much satisfied my doughnut needs. Thank you, Revolution for being exactly what I needed on a Sunday afternoon!

Best doughnut shop in Atlanta hands down. Rotating monthly menus always have my family making a special trip from outside the perimeter every month. Their attention to food allergies is great. Staff always very friendly. Crunchy Mister is my go to there, but all the options are good.

Probably my favorite donuts in Atlanta! Sublime is really close though. Enjoy that revolution has cake and yeast donuts. The Almond donut is hands down my favorite! Also can't go wrong with the blueberry or the vanilla bean. The chocolate pudding is a VERY dark chocolate. A little too dark for me, but if you are a dark chocolate person this is up your alley. Yeah, they are not cheap. But, you pay for quality.

Love love love! Their doughnuts, the only thing that I’m not a fan of are their business hours & the quantity they make. I would love if they offered SAME DAY ordering like their comp. They have a huge customer base & always have a crazy line so staying open another hour or two and making an additional dozen of their popular flavors wouldn’t hurt anyone. Not sure if this is on purpose to create a sense of exclusivity or sense of urgency but it's way more money to be made, why not get it? lol If you want doughnuts on the weekend and you live on the opposite side of town, you'll have to be there by noon to catch the good flavors on the weekend, not cool, especially when you work through the week and can't get to them.

My son loves every type of donut that exist, so I thought it was a great idea to bring him here. It was his treat for making such good grades. And just like I thought, he was in donut heaven. I'm not a big sweet or so this visit was about him. The variety of donuts even had me intrigued. The donuts are very nicely sized and made from scratch. They have gluten-free as well as vegan Donuts as an option. There's also a coffee bar. Donuts prices seemed appropriate, especially for the size. Most Donuts run about $3 and if you get a dozen, of course it's discounted. The donuts were huge for someone like me who's not a big sweet eater. The donut shop isn't really big but people aren't in there very long so it is plenty of seating. The staff is very energetic, helpful, and jolly. I would definitely go back even if it was just for the atmosphere. I love cozy spots with great food.

Delicious doughnuts and reasonable pricing. Vegan option doughnuts are available here. We went there abt 10 in the morning & there were a long queue due to social distancing. No dining-in allowed at this time. The queue moved pretty fast actually. You are only allowed to enter when the bell on the door sound. U just knew that its a good doughnut shop when you saw mostly locals r in the queue.

I am a doughnut junkie so I knew that this was a place for us to stop when driving through. The flavors are strong and on point, so keep that in mind when you’re picking! Some of the flavors weren’t our favorite but I would go back for that raspberry sprinkle ANYDAY. These are doughnuts you should eat the day of because they don’t last and get hard within a day.

Love this place!! Always good service and the donuts and coffee are delicious. Fave donuts: Orange Pistachio (sooo sweet) Peppermint (seasonal) Almond Cake Toasted Coconut Jam Filled (passion fruit is good!!) Least Favorite Donut: The Everything Donut - savory donut similar to an everything bagel. I had high hopes for this guy, but it was sooooooooo very salty. I tasted nothing but salt when I took a bite. I looked at the top and there appeared to be at least a teaspoon of large salt flakes on top!! I love salty foods, but this was way more salt than I could handle; I couldn’t even taste the filling or other “bagel” toppings. Once I wiped all the toppings off, it was decent but my mouth was already overwhelmed by the salt from the first bite. I get either the regular black coffee and it’s really good. The whole milk latte is also delicious. You should definitely check this place out!!

I give them five stars for creativity and options for vegan individuals. But for overall best donuts not quite there. I tried eight different flavors and other pretty enjoyable. They are the cheapest donuts as eight of them cost me $23 but it’s a fun treat to come and get every once in a while. The chocolate blackout donut was the best cake style doughnut. I also enjoyed the vanilla glaze and the cinnamon and sugar. I thought the peach donut was a pretty clever idea the peach was a little more tart and paired decently with the donut. The chocolate hazelnut is made with almond flour and is more like a doughnut shaped muffin that was quite enjoyable! I was let down by the Nutella filled. I definitely would come back again.

I thought it tasted pretty darn good.... especially considering that it's vegan. My first bite had a funny after taste, but as continued, it went away fairly quickly. I had the Vanilla Bean donut and it taste just as good as a Dunkin Donut. I would definitely go back after I get off this diet I'm starting tomorrow. Lol..... I've been eating waaaaaaaay too much of everything. But please, go and enjoy!

Vegan, deliciousness!! A total must try!! These are “Almond Joy”, Lemon Poppy, and Orange Pistachio! The Almond joy didn’t had amaretto in the filling, which isn’t my favorite flavor but over all it was still yummy. The others were SO amazing!! Not too sweet and really high quality. Can’t wait to go back.

We arrived at approximately 4:00PM so the selections were very limited. We were able to enjoy the salted caramel cake, and chocolate. We also had a non dairy latte, and black coffee. They're coffee was super delicious(very bold) The donuts were good. The flavors were perfect. The cake donut was a cross between a biscuit and cake. Staff was delightful, helpful, and patient.

I LOVE THIS PLACE I mostly just try the yeast donuts because I believe in fluffy donuts not cakey ones. I also am vegan and there’s tons of options which is amazing. Favorite flavor is cinnamon sugar out of dark choc, raspberry, and blueberry. But raspberry is a close second (just haven’t had a chance to try vanilla bean glaze but it looks like a winner too). When it’s summer and it’s back on the menu, the peach donut (called something different) is my absolute #1!!!

This little donut shop was quite the fun break from hustle and bustle of our busy day in Atlanta. The atmosphere was young and hip. The food looked and tasted great. We ordered the Christmas special of Cranberry and Orange. It tasted fresh and tart and sweet all on the same bite. The donut was fluffy and the icing was perfectly glazed. A must try if you find yourself roaming Atlanta with an urge to munch.

We order the Toasted Almond Big Ol' Cake every year for a vegan family member and it's always fantastic. The cakes are dense, moist, and delicious. Of course we have a couple of donuts while we are there. Many vegan options, and donuts to satisfy both yeast donut fans and cake donut fans. Great coffee, too!

Revolution donuts is the greatest donut shop in history and the Berry Lemon Tart donut that they have for April 2022 (oh yeah, ladies of the world, they have special rotating donuts each month - mmmhmm!) may be the greatest donut in history. It not only delivers the multi-berry mouth feel but is filled with lemon curd. What!!! Yes. My only wish is for RD to name their new little alley-like back patio and that name should be “The Donut Hole”. Please do this - it would be so excellent. Maybe a donut themed arbor to walk through as well to enter The Donut Hole. Oh yeah!

Everything was delicious! This place is clearly a community staple with families taking bike rides to visit and friends meeting at the outside patio. They efficiently moved everyone through the line. We haven't been able to find delicious and innovative doughnuts since we moved back to the south but Revolution broke our streak of disappointment. I'd recommend going and trying something you haven't before. When we come back to Atlanta this will be a mandatory stop.

Revolution donuts delivers on two things almost perfectly: quality and experience... Though you will spend more per donut than your average dunkin location, the delicious pastries will satisfy you far more and leave you feeling refreshed vs stuffed. I found the natural risen donuts to be light and tasty and the toppings are flavorful with the absence of excessive sugar. The people who work here are also a treat. They fit the cabbage town/Edgewood look and attitude. That being said, they aren't jaded hipsters but instead really kind and helpful employees. If you haven't visited, go when you can!

Grateful these guys are back open! Been getting donuts from here for years now. Menu is a little different than in the past but you are not wanting to miss out. They also have a gluten free donut, they don’t advertise it as GF (I think they call it grain free) but one of the best tasting donuts on menu maybe even second place behind the maple bacon.

First- their ordering protocol is great. They buzz you in and you order and move thru the line exiting out the side. The donuts are great. So good they make can vegetarians regret their life choices. The raspberry lemon looks straight out of the Simpsons cartoon - it looks so perfect it makes you say donuts. The ham and cheese donut should have been terrible but it was a nice little surprise. Every donut especially the peaches and cream snit was spectacular. Love supporting local businesses making great food.

Probably my favorite donut place in ATL. The apple fritter, bacon caramel, and blood orange pistachio are amazing donuts. They usually offer a pastry with loads of fresh fruit (peaches or strawberries, etc) which is awesome. Great choice if you're vegan or need something gluten free!

Lots of Vegan options. Pistacio Orange was amazing. I like how they call out whether the donut is a cake donut or a yeast donut right on the menu. Coffee was good and if you order to stay free refills. Also tried the dark chocolate glazed and the vanilla bean glazed and were all 5 out 5 good.

My sister and brother-in-law brought me here while I was visiting Atlanta. I'm picky about donuts. And actually prefer fritters over donuts. No complaints here other than the line. There were 5 of us and we ordered 6 donuts, then cut them up so we could all try them. We had a dark chocolate yeast donut, raspberry yeast donut, apple fritter, Easter lemon peep donut, caramel bacon yeast donut, and a croquette. Every one I tried was better than the last. The yeast donuts are fascinating. They are lighter and fluffier than the donuts you get at Krispy Kreme or other places. That is cool, different, and nice. But the toppings were the major difference maker. Caramel bacon was the winner, but the raspberry was a close second. Despite my preference for fritters, it came in 4th place after the croquette. Absolutely amazing. I would definitely go back.

My favorite donut place in atlanta! If you want to have the biggest variety, it is best for you to go in the morning. There is street parking sometimes. Since the pandemic, there is usually a line that forms outside but it moves really quickly. You will need to take your donuts to go. There is no indoor sitting anymore. I do miss that. However, there are quite a few benches in front of the building.Their coffee is really good as well. I think their coffee is better than Dunkin' donuts. And you cannot even compare these donuts to Krispy Kreme or Dunkin' donuts. Their almond flour donut is absolutely delightful whether you are going gluten free or not. What I like the most besides the taste and freshness, would be the creativity of flavor options. They have new flavors every month so it keeps you wanting to go back. It's quite a great treat for everyone. I love bringing my out of town guest here when they visit. If you live in the neighborhood try not to over indulge. LOL Enjoy!

I picked up two doughnuts. The first was a plain glazed(vanilla bean) and the second a cappuccino crunch. The flavor profile of both doughnuts was great. They were sweet but not too sweet. The glazed had a perfect texture and glaze to it. The cappuccino crunch had a great coffee flavor. At first I thought they were a little expensive but the doughnuts are actually huge. To be frank one doughnut and a coffee is probably enough for breakfast.

This Atlanta staple is a must try if you are a distinguished doughnut diner. With more flavors than you would need to invoke fear of missing out feel confident that what ever you choose will explode with flavor in your mouth. A few flavors suffer from relying simply on tasting sweet with little else to offer the other taste buds in your mouth. My Daughter delighted on eating the flavors independent of their complexity or lack of. Expect a hardy doughnut that is chewy. You will not have the dissolve in your mouth experience found at one of the popular chain doughnut providers. An added bonus is many of the doughnuts are vegan. For those that stay away from the animal byproducts we can slip in with some carnivorous friends and order away with all the other caloric seeking foodies.

During my visit I ordered the; - Vanilla Bean Glazed : Moist with the perfect amount of vanilla flavoring. - Cinnamon and Sugar! Loved the sand like texture on the coating usedz it contrasted the fluffy texture of the donut quite well. The cinnamon flavor was subtle, but noticable. - Dark Chocolate Glazed My Favorite of the three, the dark chocolate added the perfect amount of sweetness and chocolate flavor without being overwhelmingly sweet. No toothache here. - Savory Donuts with Ham: A great combination of sweet and salty flavor. I should have ordered another she lunch. The service was sort of meh, perhaps it was due to them preparing to close, but they had an hour left according to their posted business hours. They were removing the donuts from the case, which felt a bit premature considering the time. I plan to revisit to see if they are more inviting earlier in the day. Overall I still enjoyed the donuts, which is really what I can't for.

Great spot, even at 2 on a Saturday afternoon, their doughnuts were fresh and delicious. We did not have coffee, but my son it is excellent as well. A note on great service, while we were eating a gentleman spill en entire cup of coffee with sugar and cream. He was embarrassed, bit grabbed some napkins to clean up the mess. Before he could turn around one of the counter workers was there, cleaning it up and assuring the guy it was cool.

The vegan doughnuts & pastries here are SO delicious! Get a variety pack - your taste buds will love you. Or, if you're a fan of classics like I am, get the chocolate. Service was super fast, (even on Sunday morning around lunch) & the employees were awesome. My only issue is with the building -- there's a pretty sizable step at the front door, & I had to have a random passerby help me get in with my wheelchair. The exit, though, does have a ramp! Hopefully, they'll add one to the front one day.

I stopped by Revolution Doughnuts...told the guy behind the counter that I needed a bounce-off-the-wall-pick-me-up-that-motivates-others-to-work kind of coffee. His eyes widened and he suggested and ice coffee with a kick. AND IT WAS PERFECT! I love this place! Occasionally, I stop in to purchase doughnuts for my team. And I THINK they have a special day where they give law enforcers a discount. (Not sure which day, sorry about that) Wish they would offer one of those cards that after five stamped visits patrons receive a free cup...hint. But regardless...great customer service, great coffee!

We are vegan, the donuts are labeled very clearly on the glass and my kids can pick out their donut. :-) I love their chai and I get the unsweetened one with almond milk and it’s the yummiest! I stopped in here for the first time yesterday, and I'm now in love. The vibe of this place is pretty relaxing and they have all sorts of fantastic drinks you can order, and their doughnuts are divine. I ordered a dozen of the vanilla bean, chocolate glazed cake, and the blackberry cornmeal doughnuts. The chocolate glazed cake doughnuts were incredibly moist, the chocolate glaze delicious, and they're so thick and filling! The vanilla bean ones I ordered ran out too fast in the office to try, and the blackberry cornmeal ones were incredible. The cornmeal provides for a crisper bite into the doughnut, and the perfect southern flavor balance to the sweet blackberry glaze. It was hard to not go back and get a second dozen. The best part of them: they're made with love you can taste and cruelty free so everyone can enjoy them! Over 75% of the doughnuts are vegan, so all friends can hopefully find something they'd love here. I can't wait to come back and get another dozen, as well as try their drinks.

Parking is very limited. Nice and quaint. Love the decor. Staff was very courteous. However, on't expect a Starbucks experience; not to say that it's better or worse. Personnaly, Iwasn't to impressed with the doughnuts. (Probably because I am more of a Krispy Kreme vs Dunkin Doughnuts person. If you are the latter, then this may be nirvana). However, I did enjoy the drink selection. The coffee's and teas are wonderful.

Legitimately the best doughnuts in Atlanta, bar none. Sublime may have super sugary, over-topped doughnuts that people enjoy, but Revolution's are by far more flavourful at their core without relying solely on being slathered in frosting and piles of toppings. The frosting, when used, is almost never overdone, and the base doughnuts themselves are all tasty so far. The only one I've tried that wasn't enjoyable was the caramel bacon. The bacon stood out jarringly and didn't mix with the flavours at all. Literally everything else has been fantastic. They're the only place I've found that somehow makes a truly delicious vegan, gluten-free doughnut that has been worth ordering even if you aren't vegan and don't have problems with gluten. It's rather astounding, to be honest. Their coffee is also lovely, my favourite being the rose cardamom latte, and the mugs they sell are adorable!

There isn't a lot of street parking but it's right off of the beltline so you can easily walk, bike, or run here. I would suggest getting there earlier in the morning just because they do run out of the better doughnuts if you go too late. I also suggest looking at their monthly calendar menus they have in the store. Special diet peeps with a sweet tooth, you have found your heaven! I stopped in a couple hours before my flight home to Seattle to buy my bf some donuts (his fave), but here’s the catch - he is allergic to milk, eggs, and nuts. The donut baristas (I made that up) were like “oh, no problem, we have lots of options!” They filled me up a box of a huge variety of donuts that won’t send my bf to the hospital. They wrapped each one for me all cute as they knew I was taking them on a plane and delivering them as a gift when I arrived. We visit revolution semi-frequently and this time the game was changed. Now there was an ‘everything donut’ that mirrored an everything bagel. Of course, we had to give it a go. I don’t care too much for bagels because I don’t like fighting my food. But with this, this gave me the enjoyment of an everything bagel with the tenderness of a delicious donut. Little did I know that incorrectly turning down a street would morph into an experience of true dinine intervention that is Revolution Doughnuts. As I walked into the humble, yet beautifully ordained little bakery, my life began to improve instantly. Each individual doughnut can only be described as a delicate and flavorful work of art, that created a mouth watering effect instantaneously. My heart was racing towards the sight of bright glazes, and expertly crafted flavors such as the orange glazed pistachio doughnut, amongst many others. I cannot accurately portray how insanely delicious these perfectly crafted delicacies are, thus, I highly recommend benefiting your own self, and venturing towards this shop today.
