Baked Pie Company provided a gluten and dairy free pie for our wedding. It was delicious and so beautiful! (I think it was called Chocolate Dream.) It looked so lovely in our pie display. Our gluten and dairy intolerant guests loved it. It was so creamy but not heavy at all. Before our wedding, we had a pie tasting at the Asheville location. Ingrid helped us, and it was such a pleasure! We got to try quite a few kinds of pies, and we had quite a helping of each! I highly recommend the Baked Pie Company (especially for their gluten free and dairy free selection)! (In the second picture, the Baked Pie pie is the one in the middle tier.)

My husband and I shared 4 Slivers: - Raspberry Rhubarb Frangipane - Honey Pecan - Brown Sugar Peach Crumb - Blackberry Strawberry Sour Cream I enjoyed them all. I couldn't decide whether Raspberry Rhubarb Frangipane or Brown Sugar Peach Crumb was my favorite. Honey Pecan was also very good, but it was more of a classic pie. The only thing I found weird is that we were charged for a flight plus one additional sliver. A flight is supposed to come with 3 slivers and a scoop of ice cream, but we weren't given any ice cream. When I asked about it, I was told we could pay more for ice cream if we wanted to. They rotate their flavors daily, so I'd definitely come back to try more flavors. I'd probably just get a regular flight next time so that it would actually come with ice cream.

These are the best pies EVER! We served them at our wedding, and guests told me all night how incredible the pies were -- the only problem is that you want to try them all! The owner Kirsten is also so wonderful to work with and incredibly helpful! I look forward to stopping by for a pie next time we are in Asheville

Two words. Pie. Flight. We got there later in the afternoon, so some of the pies were sold out, but there were still many yummy options. The lady working behind the counter was friendly and helpful.

This place is ADORABLE. I felt like I was walking into someone's grandmother's house. I stopped last week while in Asheville on vacation and I was lucky enough to pop in when it wasnt super busy so I could enjoy all the extra touches that make it so homey. The two women working were very friendly and helpful. I took a "pie flight" to go (yes, apparently pie flights are a thing and that makes me feel like theres hope for this world). It was earlier in the morning so I opted to not get the ice cream because we had planned on trying the pie later (but I kind of wish I said yes to the ice cream as an excuse to eat it for breakfast so it didn't melt🤣). We tried the Honey Pecan, Apple Crumb, and Guava Cheesecake...all were delicious, but the Guava Cheesecake stole the show, and my heart...in fact it completely ruined me because now every time I have other cheesecake going forward I will be so incredibly sad that it isnt the guava cheesecake from Baked. I apologize for my lack of actual pie photos, it sat in the car for a bit and it looked a bit melty/squishy and I know well enough that the slices looked SO much better when they served them to me, that I didnt want to insult the beautiful pie with lack luster pictures. I really hope I find myself back in the area in the future so I can visit Baked again, and reunite with that Guava Cheesecake

A definite must try in the Asheville area! We shared a pie flight with coconut cream, apple and honey pecan pies with a scoop of caramel ice cream. Honey pecan won first place.

Stopped by at the end of the day near closing time so the selection was slim. My husband and I decided on the pie flight. We picked coconut cream, Honey pecan and marzipan apple pie. They were all three delicious but the honey pecan was our favorite. Wish we had time to go back. Highly recommend!

We purchased 4 large pies and 6 small for our wedding-an assortment of chocolate for the mini pies, 2 variations on pumpkin, an apple with chai, and a pecan pie. The pecans were huge, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The apple pie was also great. My favorite was the pumpkin swirled with cheesecake. It was all delicious, and I highly recommend this bakery for all your pie needs!

We used Baked Pie company to serve 4” mini pies at our wedding in lieu of a traditional cake and absolutely loved it. Mini pies were such a fun novelty that our guests loved, but more importantly, the pies were SO good. (My personal favorite was the Honey Pecan). Also, the owner, Kirsten, is so kind, responsive, and easy to work with! Highly recommend!

It's a very unique and a splendid place to go if you like pies they have a huge selection. They just reopened today and we're almost completely sold out of pies by 4:00 pm. you can get a three-piece sampler with ice cream I highly recommend this. Baked Pie Company is a great place to get a dessert. The pies are simply fantastic and they reasonably priced also. A pie flight is $12.99, which is 3 slices of your choice with a scoop of ice cream. The three pie slices that I ordered were, lemon blueberry cheesecake, Boston cream and honey pecan pie. The pecan pie was my favorite but all three were great. The selection varies based on season, they use local ingredients when able also. They have other items if you enjoy desserts, such as oatmeal cookie pies. It was the best one I have ever eaten. If you are in the area, definitely stop in, you will not be disappointed.

Wow !! Best pie ive ever had. At first I thought it was a little pricey, since im used to grocerie store pie.. This ain't your frozen Mrs.Smith!! We got a flight of 3 different flavors,Pecan,chocolate Pecan and PUMPKIN MARSHMALLOW !!! Im pretty sure this is what theyll feed you in heaven.. The service qas helpful and friendly and the store is eclectic, we felt like we were in Grandmoms house..do not drive by.

What atmosphere! Wonderful selection of pies, all of which were top-notch. Fruit pies were loaded with fruit and there are gluten free options too. Love the 'tea shop' atmosphere and all the wonderful books to read and places to sit. Chess, checkers, toys and stuffed animals to play with for kids, and even coloring books for kids and adults alike. Grab some slices and stay a while, it really is grand. Oh, and try a pie flight if you're planning to sit for a bit. It easily makes a meal.

Wonderful flight of pies, knowledgeable & friendly staff. We love the Woodfin location and wanted to try the South side out. Wife took me here for my birthday pie. Trees Leches, Kirsch-soaked Cherry chocolate, and Chocolate Fudge Brownie were our 3 selections. I can't tell you how many times we uttered oh.my.god after taking a bite! Can't say enough good about these people and their business, love both locations!

Being in such a niche market, Baked Pie Company knows what they’re doing! These pies are phenomenal. Order however you want, by the slice, by the pie or by the flight. Honestly, I’m too moody to decide which would be my favorite. But they definitely have a pie for EVERY mood you’re in.

Left off a star for location. This shop is so quaint inside and has such a great atmosphere inside that you would expect it to be in a more prominent shopping center. Seating is somewhat limited inside and you may have folks standing over you while their in line. However, the line moves and it's not too bad. Unfortunately outside seating is only a couple very small tables no patio. Staff was quick friendly and happy to answer questions about any of the pies. We bought three slices to try at home. My personal favorite was the blueberry. It had the perfect balance of sweetness. The Amish Apple was good had a different texture to it, but still very tasty. Generally anything lemon is my favorite but the lemon custard pie had a lot of cream on top. I wish there would have been more custard and it had been a bit more tart. Overall it was a great experience and we cannot wait to try some more of the flavors like the Atlantic!

What a great idea to have a pie shop! This is a super cute little shop in a strip mall. Don't let the exterior fool you. The inside is nicely decorated and has a lot of really neat things. The pies are delicious! It is hard to choose a favorite because each one that I have tried has been awesome. You can order a pie flight that has 3 slivers and a scoop of ice cream. The slivers are nice slices of pie. Hubby and I have never been able to finish. The coffee is good and they offer free (help yourself) water. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The shop is right off the interstate and definitely worth the detour. We love it! We stop every chance we get. (Pardon the bite from the pie in the picture I could not wait!)

We were visiting Asheville for hiking and I found this place online. We got there with 5 minutes to spare before closing. I asked if we made it in time, I really wanted pie, and they stopped cleaning and closing up the store so we could order. I’d never been there before, so they took time to help me choose even though they were trying to close up on Saturday night. I chose Strawberry Crumble, and the Honey Pecan Pie. The pies were amazing. The 3 girls that helped us were amazing. The shop was absolutely beautiful. The whole experience was awesome and when we go back to Asheville I will go back, with more time to spare. Thank you to the girls who helped us!

I've never found a pie place that makes me happy like Baked. The staff has always been extremely knowledgeable & helpful. Their pie flights with a scoop of ice cream are my favorite for a sugar charge up date before we drive up the nearby Blue Ridge Parkway ramp to lounge on top of the mountains for a couple of hours. In the 4 years I've been stopping by (periodically) I've never had an unpleasant experience.. or a less than incredible pie slice!

Delicious pies! They offer slivers and slices, but the sliver is big enough! I got three slivers for about $15. I got a slice of Brownie M&M Fudge pie, Reeses pie, and strawberry pie. All three were delicious! It was kinda off the beaten path, in a little strip of buildings, but definitely worth the drive. Will visit here again for more delicious treats!

I was on vacation and needed some pie. I figured Asheville would be just the place to find a whole store dedicated to pie and I wasn't wrong! This place was wonderful - the store is very homey, employees are friendly, and the pie is delicious. I ordered the Chocolate Chip Cookie pie. It was very rich and chocolatey, but not too heavy, and the crust was great. All the knick knacks are for sale, so it was fun looking around at the unique collection of vintage and retro items. Of course, the one thing I wanted wasn't for sale - an awesome embroidered vintage apron (pictured). The woman behind the counter said the owner's mom made it many years ago. Too cute. I did think it was a bit pricey - the pie was $5.50 and after tip the bill was $7.

Best customer service! I found out the night before that I needed a gluten free pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. Just a long shot ( actually what my email was titled) I sent a message to Baked Pie Co and I was amazed that the next morning I received a phone call that they had 1 pie available!! Now, this was Thanksgiving morning. And Kirsten made it possible for my husband to pick up the pie. Small little location on the outskirts of Asheville tucked away among a few other places with an amazing atmosphere inside feeling very much like an old house from the fifties. It even has a black-and-white TV. Selection is different based upon the day sometimes it's varied sometimes it's minimal but still great sweets and great bakery.

I had heard one time about this "amazing pie company". I picked one up last minute for a family gathering. I only had three varieties to choose from because they had sold out most of their holiday pies earlier in the day. We bought a cranberry cheesecake pie. It looked delicious, and it tasted even better. The crust was crispy and buttery, the filling sweet, tart and creamy. We all loved it. The pie was a bit expensive so I will not buy one everyday but will definitely come here for special occasions.

The Smore’s pie was absolutely amazing!! Super nice staff as well. There were probably about 5-6 pie flavor options when we visited (the website listed many more, so we were a little bummed) but we also came in the late afternoon so they might have more options based on timing? Still worth a 5 star rating for sure!

The pies here are fantastic; that's not up for debate. In fact, I doubt there's a better pie for miles around. The three stars is really about the price for a slice of pie, which is $6. For my wallet, that's too much for me to want to visit this place often. Add onto that the verbal push to "want to add a tip for the bakers and pie makers?" and suddenly my six dollar slice is seven or eight. Plus, there's no way my household is gonna let me be the only one to get pie, so that's times three. Anyway, I could go on, but I won't. If you can afford it, stop in because the pies are really, really good and the variety can't be beat.

Went here the other night for the first time! Pie was delicious! The chocolate cloud pie was our favorite out of the 6 flavors we tried with the strawberry cheese cake coming in behind it. We love the Baked Pie Company! The atmosphere is warm and inviting and it smells like pie. The "Pie Flight" is such a unique and wonderful idea. WOW! This place is outstanding. The shop itself is very charming and has a warm feel to it. Their pies are so delicious. We have only been a couple times so far but plan on going much more in the future! We were completely blown away. My favorite that I've tried is by far the chocolate pecan! You can taste the love they put into their pies. My husband loved the honey pecan too! I can't wait to try more! Their pies change daily so definitely check their Facebook page if you want to know what they have that day!

Loved this joint! It’s quaint and rustic offering a wide selection of pies and cheesecakes. Plus you can pair your pie with some ice cream which is basically a staple. This is definitely a go to destination for an after dinner dessert. Especially if you’re on a date that you don’t want to end! The staff are delightful and know their stuff when it comes to pies and coffee.

These pies are tasty but they aren't my thing. They are too sweet and the flavors aren't really well balanced with each other. However I imagine some people would love this place. If you are looking for classic 1950s pie like grandma made it, you found your place. The baked pie company has a mouth-watering assortment of pies as well as friendly staff and a gorgeous quaint interior. It's definitely worth trying to see if it's your kind of pie. Give it a go!

My husband and I visited for the first time on Sunday - I highly recommend trying this place out!! We each got a flight of pie, which was a LOT of pie, and took the leftovers home. There was a lot of variety, although a few pies had already sold out by the time we got there, so I'd suggest going early if you have a particular flavor in mind! We loved all the ones we tried. The coffee was also great, which is a huuuuge plus for us because we're big coffee drinkers. The atmosphere and decor were cozy and very well thought out. Great attention to detail here!

The best pie store I've been to nationwide. Pie selection is great (better earlier in the day, obviously) with gluten free, sugar free, and vegan options in addition to the full flavor pies. I eat here often, and have yet to have one I didn't like. They also offer Pie Flights, 3 smaller pieces of pie with or without ice cream, for when you can't make up your mind. Highly recommend!

The Baked Pie Company is incredible. Today, my husband and I drove an extra 45 minutes out of our way to stop by here and to bring home several slices of pie. Every time we take a weekend trip to Asheville, we visit at least once and sometimes twice. And their COVID precautions today were excellent! When we are post-pandemic and back to normal, I cannot wait to come back to their adorable dine-in cafe and indulge in a pie flight. By the way - from today’s pie selections, our favorites were the strawberry rhubarb and peach raspberry. They both taste like summer. A+.

So many pies to choose from! Yes, it's expensive, but worth it. Truly delicious! The atmosphere is quaint & a bit like being at the sweet, little old lady's house next door. There are books to choose, a retro 📺, indoor seating for up to 6 or outdoor seating for 2. We tried the honey pecan & the strawberry chocolate and had fresh-brewed coffee to boot. Worth a try.

Their pies are unique, hand made and delicious. One thing I was not expecting- their *Pesto Quiche* is TO DIE FOR. My word, I was blown away. Also, fantastic service. Skip the ingles “bakery” and support this local spot. You won’t be disappointed!!

Soooo good. The prices are high but reasonable for the area and especially reasonable for the quality of the pie. Whole pie is $32, single slice is around $6 and a pie flight of three "slivers" (don't be fooled, these are slices) with ice cream is $12. Their raspberry cheesecake is out of this world, and their seasonal flavors are always great too. Definitely worth a visit when you're in town.

I love that a shop dedicated to pie exists. I also love the pie that this shop is dedicated to serving. You will probably be indecisive when you come here, so stand off to the side to figure out what you want or talk to the friendly staff and they will get you sorted. I love this little pie shop! The blueberry pie is my absolute favorite. I have dreams about this pie. They have a huge selection of pies and desserts but don't make all of them everyday. Delicious pies. Eclectic decor. Friendly staff. I wish there were more pie shops like this around. I'm happy we found it and it'll be a regular stop when we visit Asheville. I ordered 3 pies (apple crumble, cherry crust, and lemon cream) to take back home to Florida. The apple and lemon pies are great but the cherry pie has a hint of lemon in the mixture that doesn’t fit. I’m not sure if it was a cross contamination or if the pie has lemon as an ingredient. If it’s part of the pie, it should be sold as a cherry lemon pie and not just a cherry pie as I bought this one as a gift for someone who is not keen on lemon. If ever passing through Asheville, I would stop by again.

Been here several times and so far my experience has been great. However, we came tonight and I was disappointed. I'm noticing more and more that they are focusing on chocolate pies and rarely have any fruit pies on the menu and definitely don't make enough. Don't get me wrong, I love chocolate. I tried 2 pie flights to get a variety. For the price per slice, I expected something more. A flakier crisper crust. The fillings were a little too sweet for my taste, but the best of the bunch was the chocolate cloud. Although it was too rich to finish the whole slice, I felt it had the best flavor of the six pies I tried. Wish there were more fruit pies. I saw very little of them when I went twice in August. That being said, the ambiance was nice with cutesy decor and knick knacks to buy, and the people there were very pleasant.

The coziness of this restaurant receives higher marks than the pies. The pies were good, but not great. We tried 4 different slices of pie and our opinion was about equal for all four slices. This restaurant should study the pie recipes from Capitol Reef National Park, in Utah. If you want AWESONE PIES, you have to try those pies. I will say that the staff are friendly, service oriented and attentive. All-in-all, we had a nice experience, but Sams Store sells as good or better pies. If you really want an amazing pie and you don't want to travel to Utah, go to your local Cracker Barrel Restaurant and order their Chocolate Pecan Pie. Wow! A Truly amazing pie!

Pie shakes are very high priced but you are getting a pie blended into an ice cream shake and the results are good. The blueberry, fudge, and coconut cream pies were among the best I've ever had, and I'm passionate about desserts to a fault. The critics complaining about the prices are fools, especially those who make comparisons to grocery stores where the vast majority of products are likely shipped in frozen. This should be equated to getting dessert at a restaurant. Not Cracker Barrel or O'Charley's, but a local restaurant which practices homemade cooking with premium ingredients. There, you'll easily pay ~$10 for a dessert. Here, you're getting much more bang for your buck--especially if you get a flight. My wife I shared one and had leftovers. I was just as moved the following day.

I have never in my life experienced pie like this. Just get a flight of pie. You think you don't want it, but you really do. They said that it's 3 "smaller" pieces of pie. If those pieces are the small pieces, I have no idea how big they consider the normal size. Also if you don't get the salted caramel ice cream you're seriously missing out. Wonderful place, coffee was great and so was the pies, do the 3 piece pie flight, you get to try 3 different pieces. From the time you step inside, it was like you could tell thos was going to be a great experience, there was couple holding hands talking after they finished their pie, another older couple talking and reminiscing old times. Dads with their daughter came in on a night out. The old black and white tv was playing an old show in the corner, there are coloring books and colored pencils waiting for you to leave you master piece in a book. So I attempted to eat here again and the pie was good but most of them were a little too sweet for me. They still seem to regularly run out of pie by early afternoon (I've called a few times before making the drive). If I was just rating the pie it would be 4 or 5 but if you regularly run out of most of your product hours before you close I don't think you deserve more then 3 starts until you figure it out. Won't attempt to eat here again. Came here two days in a row and they were closed because they were sold out. First attempt I got there 15 minutes before they closed on a Friday. We tried to go the next day after dinner. We got there at 6:30 and they were closed again because they were out of pie.
