A legit panaderia. Went for the cinnamon rolls, they are less buttery than some local varieties which is probably a good thing. La señora at the counter speaks no English so brush up on your Spanish. Fun to see the fresh rolls coming out of the oven on enormous peels. Will go back to try their burritos.

Ate here for the 1st time. Not too big of a restaurant but because the food is good they get pretty packed right away. Tried their Menudo and it was amazing! They also give you the option of adding the patita (pigs foot). They make their bread fresh on site. So good! They also have baked goods you can come in and buy. Prices are fair and we got great service. I definitely recommend this place. I will go back to try other menu items. If you read my review, please hit the like button. Thank you.

This place is awesome! The bread is super fresh and chewy, and the people who work here are really friendly. I love the wide selection, and the best part is the baked goods aren't too sweet. It's also relatively cheap; I got four items for just $3.24 including tax. If I lived around here, I would be coming very often, the breads here are simply delicious!

The most delicious bread! Bolillos are my absolute Favorite! Made fresh everyday! I love the burritos! My favorite being the picadillo 😋 The different flavors of empanadas can't be best, in my opinion. If you go early , you can get hot bread fresh out of the oven. Pastries and sweet breads are made fresh everyday, as are flour tortillas. I recommend this place highly for one of the best burritos you will ever have!

If you want to feel like you just entered a bakery in Mexico, you just found the right place. This place reminded me of my travels through Mexico. You can tell the place is a little run down, but honestly it is what gives this place its charm. The workers were very nice and helpful, the bread here was very flavorful, but the true reason for my visit on a Saturday morning was for the menudo. The portions were big and came with a fresh baked bolillo loaf. The soup stock was very flavorful and had a slight heat to it. Adding some more Chile flakes and lime and all of a sudden you have the Mexican hangover cure. As soon as my bowl arrived, the atmosphere came to life with some live singing by one of the employees. Some breakfast and a show for under $10, this really can't be beat.

My dad found this bakery on one of our trips to Albuquerque. The bread taste very good and they also sell burritos. Its in a sketchy location but the workers there are really nice. All pastries are around 70 cents each and burritos about $4. Always stop by when coming to Albuquerque!

Omg the variety and quality of bread is spot on. We are not from Albuquerque but one of the restaurants we visited recommended we come here. So glad we did the bread was super soft and moist and the flavors were spot on. .75c per bread. I'd definitely would come here again

OMG! So I absolutely love Chile Verde (a style of slow cooking pork or beef with green chiles etc.) which is almost impossible to find in NM or I’m just looking in all the wrong places like an Urban Cowboy 🤠 Anyway, this is a bakery and their sign says “burritos” and “hand made tortillas” so ok, I’m curious and FINALLY go in for a burrito (yes, I’ve been in before for their baked goods). I ordered the beef which comes green and to my surprise a delicious Chile Verde burrito! Cooked with papas and frejoles added on request. YAY!!!! Well priced and delicious! Plus, every single time I’ve been in, staff are WONDERFUL, kind, professional, and very helpful. So don’t just stop for the baked goods, try a burrito while there and u may b pleasantly surprised!

I am very lucky to have such a good bakery and restaurant in Albuquerque, this is as good as my Abuelita's kitchen. Homemade everything including one of my favorites tortillas and pastries made fresh every day. Great service, friendly environment you will leave with a full stomach and don't forget to grab a few snacks for later. Very good prices, handicap accessible, plenty of parking in back and conveniently off Gibson and the freeway

Excellent pan dulce here. We arrived at closing time and were able to stock up on some very delicious pastries. The conchas were gone by the time we got there but we'll definitely be back to get some!!! For being the end of the day, the bread was still very soft and fresh. The woman behind the counter was so nice and kind.

Very nice bakery! Easy to locate and plenty of parking. The pan dulce is some of the best I've ever had. We went later in the day (around 1pm) and they still have quite a bit of selection. Bakery contains about 4 or 5 large cases of assorted Mexican pan dulce, each 75cents! Would for sure go back.

Omg! Best food! We were going to another restaurant and pad this one, it was packed, which is how you know it's good! We went to the other restaurants the lot was empty, so we came here so glad we did! My husband said the best hamburger meat he ever had! He got the picadillo plate worth eggs and beans. I had beans with potatoes. My potatoes were a little hard but still really good. I highly recommend this place. We had live music too! The bread. Just the bread though. Best fresh pan blanco ever!

Great sweet bread. Owner is kind of mean and arrogant when you talk to. He is very proud of his work. prices of bread is too high 75 cents each but when you make a large order some bread that would be regular size on display are given to you among the many too small. Small that you thinking is a joke but no that's the bread you get. So talking to the owner about this did not matter to him he said the bag damaged the bread. Like putting them on a bag was my idea.

Walking in on a Sunday around 11 pm, the place is PACKED! Largely Hispanic demographic and everybody assumes you speak Spanish which is awesome. Better yet, word of their amazing Mexican food, pastries, and service has been spreading and it is turning the place into quite the multi-cultural establishment. They have a massive Masonry Oven in-house and bake the white-bread rolls literally minutes before you get them. You can only order menudo on the weekends (traditional) and by default you get a white-bread roll. The menudo is savory, spicy, and hardly needs any of the condiments that can be added to taste such as oregano, key lime, and onions. The burritos are a hidden New Mexico gem. Eggs, potatoes, chile, and beans. All usual ingredients but somehow superior. The Mexican Pan de Dulce is baked daily and sells quickly. They have conchas, donas, muffins and other pastries that I recognize and enjoy but can't properly name and it's only .75 cents a piece. Family owned and operated, they are a well oiled machine. They operate like clockwork which makes customers happy and keeps them coming back. The many many regulars say they don't go anywhere else. Awesome place.

I bought Pan de Muerto from them last year. Although it was tasty, it was three times as big as the one I called to reserve and that I was told would be in hold for me for the 2 hours it was going to take me to be able to go get it. I got a massive piece of fantastic yellow cake and an ojo de buey for $1.62, how could I complain? It's as you'd expect a classic mexican panaderia to be. Tasty, simple, inexpensive. The only reason I can't give my experience 5 stars is because of safety. If you go, beware of your surroundings. At the corner of Broadway and Gibson, you're entering a sketchy part of town... (And that's by ABQ standards)
