Stop!!! If you are thinking of going somewhere else.. just stop!!! I have been going to Foulk Road Automotive for years and this review is long overdue. The very first time I went I was very anxious about what could be wrong with my car. At this point I honestly don’t remember what the problem was. What I DO REMEMBER is that I was called promptly. It was fixed….and there was no charge. I became a regular customer thereafter. I have never come across a mechanic who is more honest or has as much integrity as Brad. I have had countless oil changes, routine work and there has never been add on problems as some places like to do. For example, we changed your oil but you need x,y and z. I am not saying I have never been alerted to other things that needed attention. I have, but they were legitimate. Foulk Road Automotive has helped me out countless times.. often with no charge ( I’m just a little middle aged lady not some hot 25 year old). What does this say? Honor. Honestly. Integrity. Why would you go anywhere else? I love the convenience of being able to drop my car off and pick it up after work. Is Brad rude as a few negative reviewers implied? No, he is not!! He is a fantastic, larger than life, shoot from the hip guy. I would NEVER dream of going anywhere else. Thank you Brad and the staff of Foulk Road Automotive. You are quite simply the best!!

I have been very happy with my experiences at Foulk Road Automotive. I think Brad is very straightforward and honest. That is the cause of most of the negative reviews you see on here. He has gotten me in and out for oil changes quicker than anywhere else I have ever gone. He has fixed several tires for the small cost of a patch when I was sure I was going to have to replace the tire or the rim. I am rough on my vehicles and Brad and his team have kept my vehicles running superb even with my abuse. I HIGHLY recommend Foulk Road Automotive!

I go there routinely for oil changes & tire rotation for my 2016 Pathfinder. Brad the Service Manager always gets me in & out in a timely manner. The whole team there is very responsive & respectful of your time. They check your car over thoroughly and give recommendations of items to be repaired and those they recommend to be repaired in the very near future to keep your car running at its best. I really appreciate the work they do and have given their business card out to many of my friends & family. I highly recommend them for any of your automotive service needs.

Very friendly and honest business!! While waiting for an oil change on my car I observed the store manager engaging with several customers both on the phone and in person. He treated them all honestly and with respect no matter the reason for them being there. He answered their questions explaining in detail in simple terms they could understand to make a decision on what to do with confidence. I have recommended them to a few of my friends & family. My old girl (Toyota Highlander) has needed a lot of work lately . It always seems to happen on a weekend . I’ve been going to someone to fix her that isn’t open on the weekend making me miss time at work which stresses me out. A good friend of mine referred me to FRA. When I got there , a line had already formed so I anticipate this to take all day. To my surprise they had her fixed in less than 2 1/2 hours! Not only that but she is riding smooth and quiet like she used to!! They are so efficient and professional there. Also they look happy to be there. Excellent customer service ! I recommend highly and will be back . Brad made me happy! Thank you!

I was working out of state and had my alternator go bad in my work truck. Called Brad the Service Manager and he said to bring the truck over and we will get it done ASAP. After having AAA install a battery I was able to drive the .5 mile to this service location. Brad and his team did the repair quickly and were also able to take my companies Credit Card with a screen shot as it exceeded my credit limit on my company card. Overall a bad situation 150 miles from home went smoothly and was able to get my installs done after all. Would definitely recommend this shop for any repair needs.

The service performed on my car was tires, alignment and an oil change. The general manager offered several options for tires then provided his input which ended up being the best tire for the car. The car is rear wheel drive and the all season all weather tire suggested performs very well even in the rain and the snow. I’m extremely satisfied with the service provided.

Anytime I use this business, I don’t need to worry about a thing. They set everything up, and they communicate with all parties. All I need to do is drop off my car, drive away in the rental, drive rental back when work is done, and drive off in my perfectly fixed car!

i had a fantastic experience. I first went to Firestone because its closer to me in PA, and was told I needed brakes, rotors, 4 tires and new front struts. The price? Over $4000.00!!!! Having remembered a good experience I had with the Faulk Rd Auto Center, I called Brad and told him my story. The next day, he had my 4 tires and brakes on hand, told me the struts were covered under my warranty and did everything else I needed for less than HALF of what Firestone wanted. I was in and out in two hours and couldn't be happier.

Foulk Road Automotive is an exceptional Automotive Service Center. All of the Service Technicians are highly skilled, and not only do the services you request, but also bring to your attention other potential issues with your vehicle that you may want to consider doing in the future. The Manager, Brad is both knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the work that needs to be done in layman terms. I've been taking my cars to this facility for the last five years and I wouldn't go to any other place. They are reasonably priced, and give expedient service.

I've had mixed experience's at Folk Road Automotive, Mostly positive. I originally planned to give only a 3 star rating because it was a pretty big mess up the ONE and ONLY time it happened but because of how it was dealt with I felt 4 starts was more appropriate and if I could get the owner a 5 star rating in customer services I would do it in a heart beat. First The Positive: I love the guy at the front desk. He's always high energy, high enthusiasm, and very personal-able and makes you feel at ease and welcomed offering coffee, water, and snacks, while keeping you informed on your vehicles progress all while having a humor about everything. My vehicle is *USUALLY* done in the utmost professional manner and usually very timely. I think the longest I've had to wait is approximately 30-40 minutes (maybe a hair longer because that's drop in time, not scheduled appointments...Not bad compared to most dealerships or other garage wait times WITH A SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT). They're real straight shooters. They're not going to BS with you with unnecessary repairs or made up quotes to milk you for all your money. They're the type of Garage I'd want to take my grandmother to to get car maintenance done because I know they're not going to take advantage of her. The negative experience: Now I want to preface this only happened ONCE and the owner did EVERYTHING within his power to rectify the problem to a mutually beneficial agreement and this should in NO WAY deter you from a wonderful shop but upon my 2nd oil change there they had to forgot to replace my OIL cap on the top of the engine (NOT the plug in the oil pan). I left the shop immediately after because I was on my way to King of Prussia and my car kept acting kinda weird. When I stopped with a weird burning smell I attributed to the passing semi-trucks. I couldn't pin point exactly what it was doing or how it was acting weird but I kept driving without any cause of alarm until my check engine line came on a few miles from my destination. I eventually reached my parking destination when I noticed smoke coming from my engine outside my car (Not full blown smoking like fire or over-heating, just a fine smoke drifting up and off and underneath the hood. Something between cigarette smoke and throwing water on a hot cast iron skillet type of steam/smoke) something smelt burning (this was a brand new car keep in mind). , So I checked under the hood to see if I could spot any glaring problem that I, a non-certified non-trained auto mechanic, might be able to see. It appeared the tech that did my oil change failed to put the Oil cap back on after refilling the oil so during my trip to KOP every time I spend up or hit the brakes a little too hard oil was bubbling out dripping down my engine and on my engine blocks causing the burning spell. Thankfully the cap was secured enough where they put it in the engine compartment so I was able to add more oil and replace the cap fairly quickly and make it to a gas station to to get a few quarts of oil to top it off with to make it back to Delaware. Once back I called and told the Owner (who at the time of this incident was also the front desk person) and he was VERY apologetic, made no excuses, didn't blame it on me or the tech explained the tech was still new and learning the ropes and that the morning was just a crazy chaotic morning and there was no excuse for it and insisted that I come back in later that week and he would personally put his best mechanic on the job to inspect my vehicle, redo the oil change, and clean the engine compartment so that there would be no burning oil smells. AND through in a complimentary vacuum cleaning inside....Sometimes it's the little things that make a shop better. I highly recommend this garage if not for the fair pricing then for the Awesome owner.

They were so helpful in the bind I was in (traveling), and the mechanic I worked with worked it out with my other mechanic for me to be reimbursed the expense. Been coming here since I moved to Wilmington two years ago. Brad is a delight! I have minimal car knowledge, so I appreciate that he is direct and will tell you things straight up. [I kind of suspect that some of the negative reviews on here are a "kill the messenger" situation and they just didn't like the fact that their car needed work idk...] The prices are reasonable (got a good deal on tires last December) and Brad has shown mercy on me when I've brought in my car for extremely inane reasons that I should probably be able to handle myself (for example, replacing bulbs and once, a broken gas cap lol). James and Jason are also A+ dudes. I kind of think everyone who works there are major car guys (unlike Pep Boys and other chains that just hire anybody off the street), so I trust em. Plus - shop local + support small businesses! P.S. Don't come on Saturdays bc that's when I bring my car and it's busy enough as it is.

Took a friend to pick up her car which had been there for several days for repairs. Parking lot is not veru big so there is very little room to maneuver. Anyway all of the necessary repairs hadn't been completed so the next day I picked her up again after she dropped it off.
