Earlier this summer I was in Wichita for an ice skating competition, and on the morning I was to leave town I noticed one of my tires was making a concerning sound. I pulled in to Tracy's, and they were able to squeeze me in immediately. Their diagnosis took less than an hour, for which I was incredibly grateful (tire issues are concerning when you have a 12-hour drive ahead of you.) I ended up having a screw, which they removed, in my tire. The most amazing part of my experience at Tracy's, however, was that the auto workers did not charge me a penny for my visit. I could not believe their generosity and compassion, which they cited as a favor for someone visiting from out of town. Thanks to them, I made it back to Alabama safely. Although I was a stranger to Wichita, the specialists at Tracy's made me feel like I was a part of a family. Thank you so much again!

Patrick and Adam are both really awesome and trustworthy! We have taken all of our personal vehicles there for basic repairs and they are always upfront and honest with their information. I recommend everyone take their vehicles here for any repairs! Prices are very fair despite inflation causing everything to go up. Their recommendations on repairs always make sense and I don't feel like they are trying to take advantage of us. Tracy's is also a preferred shop for our company and my customers give amazing feedback to me even on their Euro or German cars.

I have gotten oil changes for my vehicles at Tracy's for a couple years. Always great customer service and fair prices. Recently my brakes were squealing loudly and I went in to have new brakes and rotors installed. The tech and Shane at the front desk explained the brake pads only had glazing, fixed the problem and weren't in need of a replacement. This honesty saved me a lot of money and time. Would recommend this place for all auto service needs.

Our car wouldn't start one morning and Downtown Tracy's Automotive came to the rescue! Patrick answered the phone and was super nice & helpful. They arranged to have it towed within the hour and called shortly after with the diagnostic results. The price was very reasonable and Mike did everything that needed to be done. Truck made funny noises for a long time before going. Tracy's found the problem two other mechanics didn't find or looked past just from being good mechanics test driving it and going that isn't right identifying the problem and fixing it. Put in the time and effort other mechanics either ignored or looked past. Very happy truck feels much more reliable now.

(in the time of quarantine) I needed new tires and we received our stimulus check, so I figured we would get the job done. Patrick helped answer all my questions over the phone. The tires they offered (I checked them on Consumer Reports) were top rated. They picked up my car, worked on it and delivered it back. I am so pleased with the helpfulness and the tires look wonderful -- can't wait to get out and road test them! I will follow up on this because there's more to getting tires than just putting them on the car! But right now, I am super pleased! Update 8/17/20 - Still super pleased we got them done! Shoot, after alignment, car drives SO much better on the highway.

Took my 08 Chevy Cobalt in to have an alignment done. The tech found an issue with a wheel bearing and was told about the issue immediately. Was not charged for that time and inspection. Fixed the issue and took back in on a busy day. They were able to work in my vehicle and had the alignment completed quickly. Picked up my vehicle and it drives well down the road. Great service and communication.

I had a wonderful experience. My car had an unusual tire that I needed to have patched and they were able to fix it and rotate my tires. They didn't even charge for the patch. Such a convenient location if you work downtown, but even if you don't, they offer to drive you to work or home after dropping off your car. I will definitely be back, and highly recommend them!

I had a great experience with Tracy's. They were the only shop still open at 12:30 on a Saturday, and they got my car looked at even though they were busy. They worked with a warranty company as a middle man for me to help get my repair cost covered and fixed my problem. Very reasonably priced oil change. We called ahead and scheduled for a standard oil change and what all that included. They were professionally friendly and the lobby had a lot of seating choices. Judging from the traffic I saw today I'd say that they are a good business.

I have been going to Tracy's off and on for several years. My first experiences with them were great, they had fantastic customer service and great products. Then for a moment the customer service began to be really bad and I ultimately had to stop going to them because they became untrustworthy. For the last 2 years I have gone to another mechanic but recently came back to Tracy's. My last visit with them showed that the customer service level was back to being amazing and I felt I could trust them more this time. I am always nervous about mechanics, especially being a woman. I feel that Tracy's has been honest to me about the services they have provided and the prices they have charged me. They were quick to respond when I came and dropped my car off out of the blue and was even able to return it to me within the same day even though they were swamped. I enjoy them but am still hesitant to give them a better review until I have had more experiences again with them so I can trust them like before.

They've been honest with me. They advised me against paying them 1k for a repair on an old car. Told me it was better to scrap the car and buy something on Craigslist for that price. I know they would have made money off that repair but they did not take advantage of me.

On my Acura, Wichita Luxury Collection wanted to charge $800+ for a service that they said required custom parts. I had to go to Tracy's Automotive for a tire issue and decided to ask them about the other issue while there. They were unbelievable knowledgeable, and more importantly, explained the things they actually didn't know. The total cost for the same issue ended up being $90. Great service and people!

Online form had 7am as an option, since that's when I go to work (and I can just walk to work from there) that's what I chose. Turns out they're not open. There's no drop for keys either. Why is that an option if you're not open? Warning: if you need to make an appointment, call.

Wow! What a great experience! I had a flat tire just a couple blocks away from here.. looked up the closest tire shop and this was it. Drove my car here and without 30 min they had patched the tire and I was on my way. Very fast, great service and would highly recommend coming here again. (1st street location)

They haven't ever messed anything up, but I am considering not returning to them as a customer based on my customer experience I have had with them this time. Normally, very prompt service, but this time it is taking far, far too long. There was a problem with my AC, and i was told they needed to ship a part in to resolve the problem. I understood this, and they stated Monday it should be in (6 days from original drop off date on a Tuesday). I call on Tuesday of the following week, and want to see what the status is on the vehicle, and they inform me the part showed up that morning, and they were working on it then. I inquired about the estimated time to have to completed by, and if it was probable to have to ready for mid day the following business day. They responded and stated they were working on it at that very moment, and should be ready for the following day. I requested to have them follow up with me and let me know what is going on with it. The day closes out, and no follow up from the shop. I call the following day (Wednesday by this point), and i call to check on the status of it again. I receive the same answer, "we're working on it right now, and we're shooting for this evening to have it working. Its in tight spaces and all that." Its now Thursday, no callbacks, no information given, I am having to hunt down what they are doing, and very much feel like I am being given a push off, they're always "working on it" stating that the problem is a 'seized bolt', and by my calculations that has been worked on for a minimum of 14+ hours according to their statements, and stating that the cars frame/spacing is whats causing it to take so long. I feel like there's no ownership of blame from them, and are not admitting having a fault in this. Tracy's needs to do a better job about informing their customers of what is going on, and making sure that they give a reliable timeline, and either stick to it or have someone follow up with their customers and inform them about whats happening. Having a vehicle out of your life for work is always unsettling, but they are making it more agitating by the performance of their customer care.

Not convinced they perform the free inspection, as advertised. I have had to ask for my inspection sheet each time. Last time the service advisor attempted to fill it out, without ever seeing the car. Took my vehicle in for an alignment and they didn't set the rear toe. Even their printed out graphic showed the measurement as Red (out of specification).

Have never been treated better by a tire store. Last place to work on my truck ruined 2 lug nuts by using an impact wrench with the wrong size socket. Tracy's replaced them at no charge. Rebalanced my tires, after first checking the rims for straight, then indexed the wheels to hide the weights behind the spokes. If you need tires or service, you won't find a better business to do it.
