I have been taking my cars to L&M for years and have enjoyed watching the business grow. I took my mom's 2000 truck in due to the ac had quit working and it had been a couple years without much maintenance. She wanted a number of things checked and ready for winter. She lives at least 30 minutes from anything. I suggested to her to let me take it to L&M for my own piece of mind as much as for hers. I have not had any issues with work done on my vehicle and my mom is very happy with her truck. When took it back to her first thing she said was it was much quieter than before and it drove like it was new again. Thank you all at L&M

The brake light had remained on when mom drove the truck; therefore stopped and had it checked out. Bill was over $1,400 and had to return it for further evaluation because light repeated. Brakes on rear were also changed. Time will tell if it again repeats itself! A tight wire attached to brake supply container had something to do with light coming on after supposedly being fixed.

One of the BEST experiences I've ever had at an auto repair shop! Customer service was excellent, and got us in and out in the time they said it'd be ready. Definitely going back to them for any work we need done! Update...we have definitely gone back and have received excellent service. Very informative and understanding. Was able to fix our car in less time than they originally said. Plus when we picked it up we thought everything was good. Come to find another issue caused by the previous one and they were able to fix it right then and there. We love going to L&M. Great customer service and friendly. The techs are very knowledgeable as well. Thanks again L&M.

Super friendly people. Worked me in right away when my truck broke down. Gave a well priced inspection of the truck and let me know not just what was causing my issues, but what might cause me issues in the future. No pressure at all. Even gave me a push start, which is pretty funny. The other thing I noticed is their shop is really clean and organized.

L&M is (at time of writing) an appointment only location. However, even with my walk-in they were able to see me same day. I liked being greeted when entering. They were thorough with explaining my options and ensuring they would provide the proper service for my car. I will be returning for the customer service and welcoming atmosphere.

This place was not only welcoming from the first phone call when scheduling but also the receptionist Dani, she was very helpful in scheduling my appointment to get my car in and all the questions I had that followed. They took a look at my car in less than 24 hours and diagnosed it all while working with my warranty company and getting to the bottom of the issue. I am very pleased with the photo diagnosis the provide through text and the way they go about business all around! This company has my business for any future problems that arise with my vehicle! I knew I would soon need a new battery in my Impala; as last year about this time, my battery went dead-as-a-doornail. It took a friend and I several hours to pull the dead battery, get a 1-year replacement (I was pretty strapped for cash at that time), and install it. Knowing I needed the battery, and knowing I did not want to install it myself again; I chose to respond to one of many mailers I have received in my new residence on MacArthur Road; from L & M Auto Repair. I dropped in a talked to Danielle about my issues; and made an appointment for the next morning to complete the purchase and installation of a 3-year battery. The next morning, we discovered that the supplier did not actually have the battery. I don't know all the details, but within a couple of hours, I had a fresh AC/Delco 42-month battery installed, and the bill was less than I was expecting for the 36 month battery. Needless to say, I was thrilled! I Will Be Back - these folks are great to work with! Thanks, L & M!!!!!!!

I originally called 2 different shops for a quote on a CVT transmission service and was told they don’t work on them, so I called L&M and they gave me a quote and set up the appointment right then. Took my car in and waited, was told it would only be an hour and it took a little closer to an hour 45min, but no big deal. Completed service, paid my bill, and got me on my way. Will be returning for future services.

Came in for oil change and tire rotation. My appointment was at 10 am. I left around 11:30ish? Now you may wonder why 1.5 hours for an oil change? I trust their mechanics and from previous experience with them I know they provide great service. As I made the appointment, I was informed they were busy and it may be little after my appointment to get my truck done. I feel very comfortable bringing my truck in for service and will continue to do so.🍺

Before I say anything else, L&M has very good customer service and I truly appreciate that. When I called to ask about services and when I came in, the people I talked to were cool. I dropped my car off and planned to walk home, and they offered a ride. They fixed my radiator in the same day when I was prepared to be out of a car for a few days. Their online application that shows you the issue, plus other concerns that may arise in the future is pretty neat and handy. I came in 2 minutes before they closed and they were still nice when I know that could be irritating. And my car is back in action. Can't complain and I look forward to future service. Thank you.

They spent an hour working on my car. They gave me detailed list of things I need fixed. All for Zero dollars because I said I decide to sell the car soon rather than fix. My electric seat adjustment came apart. Parts were reinstalled and seat works fine again. Explained everything they did and why. Also they did thorough check of the engine and made recommendations of what maintainence to be performed. Needed to get my wheels aligned. L&M was recommended by a friend, so I gave them a call. They were able to get me in the very next day, first thing in the morning so I wasn't late to work and had my vehicle done before lunchtime! Devin & Sawyer were both very friendly, helpful and honest. They informed me that I needed new tires, but didn't pressure me and I appreciate that. The lobby was super clean and inviting and what I could see of the shop, looked very clean. This was hands down the best experience I've had with a mechanic shop. Highly recommended!

This is one review that I should have done long before now. I have a Lexus 2008 Es350 that I have had problems with since I bought it last year. I thought it would be too expensive to send to a shop so every man I knew and those that said they had experience with Lexus would try to fix it. I Love my car and was at wits end about it always overheating and replacing several different items to no avail. I finally decided it needed to go into a shop and I dreaded knowing what this car was going to cost to fix. But for all of you that fear the auto shop like the dentist. These guys catered to my fears and put me back into my car within 48 hours. They went the extra mile and figured it out!! I couldn't be happier with the customer service they have. I will never go anywhere else now. ALL YOU LADIES OUT THERE.....This is the shop you go to if you don't want to get the run around and service that is NOT needed. Look for coupons too.

I have never been to a shop like L&M before. I was amazed of how well their entire treatment from my very first phone call to when I drove my car off the lot and everything in between. I was in a highly stressed state of mind. My car broke down at 630am and had to be left and towed. Luckily I was still under a buyers warranty. I've never dealt with any of this before, but I was put at ease by the lady who answers the phone. They got my car, and sent me results of an entire inspection of my car including the tread on my tires with pictures. They listed what was needed done on my car from most important to least. They handled everything with my warranty and had it done a day earlier than planned. I will never go anywhere else!!!

L&M was wonderful to work with. I live out of state and broke down late in the afternoon. They arranged for a wrecker to bring my vehicle to their shop and set me up with a FREE loaner. I was informed of what repairs were essential to get me back to Michigan and which ones could wait until I got home by the next morning. The repairs were finished the next day and I was able to safely drive my family back home as planned. Communication was crystal clear on what I could expect the entire process. Had a few repairs needed on my truck and they did a good job with them. Heard a noise from the back and they checked it out and had me back on the road. Thanks again. Update: I had a vibration issue and they installed a new driveshaft that didn't fix what I brought my truck in for. They said it was bent, from previous experience I had no reason to doubt them. I was upset that my original problem wasn't fixed, but after some communication mix-ups they did contact me to try to make it right. I got a balance and rotate from the shop I use for my tires and that took care of almost all of my issues. I appreciate they were concerned about my experience.

I'm usually good at finding the right words to convey experiences to others my thoughts & feelings about matters. This time tho,I really want others, to know & hope they can have the same as i did. To get the obvious out of the way. The shop,inside & out, is very clean. The staff I dealt with, Jordan & Ron, I believe, are very professional & knowledgeable. I explained that I usually did my own repairs, but for a change, I've got an awesome warranty. I told him I scanned for codes, 2 came up & after fixing this it still wouldn't run. Ran a scan on the charging system & it came back as bad alternator. Jordan took it from there. Told me my warranty was one of the best & that he'd worked with them alot & he'd take care of it from there. He agreed from what I'd said, it sounded like the alternator was the culprit, but he'd run a scan to make sure that was the only problem. Then he asked If I needed a loaner car till my car was done,which I did. Total time until this point? <10min, said my car would be done by afternoon. Now here I will look a little goofy. I somehow took the keys to my car with me. Didn't figure it out for a few hrs,& didn't have my phone with me when they called to have me drop them off! So because of that, my car wasn't ready till the next day. I got there early to make the switch of cars & asked how much for everything? Nothing, 0, nada! Jordan had done all the dealing with p/w & insurance. The car runs great! At no time was I ever uneasy & that means alot as I've got (thanks to uncle Sam) ptsd pretty bad. I'll recommend everyone & anyone I know or hear needing car work, to L&M. Thank you guys! Sorry for being long winded!

Very professional, quick and a great value.4 days later I had to have my car towed there as it broke down 1 day before I was due to drive home 3 hours away. L&M was an overall great experience! I got a quote from a Honda dealership for a few brake and other maintenance issues that was way overpriced. I thought about trading in my 2009 Honda Accord until I went to L&M. They gave me a more honest and reasonable quote. Took about 2-3 days and my cars been running great! Highly recommend.

I took my car in to L&M for an oil change, knowing that I hadn't done a lot of maintenance on it for the last 5 years. I felt comfortable knowing they included an inspection with their oil change that they would catch any issues. Devin did a great job of explaining the inspection to me, showed me the issues with my tires (I knew I was due for new ones, no surprise!) and helped me schedule out new tires and the other maintenance items I needed so it would better fit in my budget. I was able to wait both times and was out within the hour. Highly recommend!

When my car's power seat stopped working, I wasn't sure where to go. I called a few different places and nobody was able to get me in for over a week. I finally called L&M and they were able to get me in the next morning. They were also charging half the cost for diagnostics as everybody else. I decided to give them a try and I am happy that I did. Not only did they diagnose the power seat, they were able to get me the parts quickly and had my seat working again in just a few days. There were some hiccups along the way, but nothing that was their fault. GM parts were the main reason why it wasn't fixed sooner. They did right by me and I am now singing their praises to everyone I know. If anyone asks me where to take their car I am definitely going to recommend this place.

Had an alignment done first thing in the morning. The folks at L&M Auto were super friendly and super helpful! Super nice and did their best to for me in even though they were booked and busy Update- years ago they were completely booked but I needed my car done and they worked hard to fit it in. Then months later, they had my other vehicle when I found myself in a horrible emergency situation needing to find a new place to live and had no money. They worked with me on getting the vehicle and took wonderful care of me. They made a customer for life. I have now used them for so many other services and will recommend them to anyone.

My wife was having some issues with the starter cable connection to the positive terminal on her battery. There were also some occasional messages on the engine diagnostic readout indicating an ignition problem. I tightened it as a temporary fix, but occasionally, without warning, there was no power. I took it to L and M, was treated very well, and was impressed with the communication. There were texts, pictures, and detailed explanations and recommendations. I highly recommend Land M!

I brought my 9yr old vehicle in for an inspection before I sold it to a friend. They were able to work it right in within 2 business days, lend me a loaner car for the few hours it took, and provided an excellent online report of everything they checked and noted at a great price. The report included photos and was also neatly organized into categories of “urgent” vs “will need in the future”, which was exactly what I needed to know. On the one item that was iffy (they noticed some power steering fluid residue) they noted it, but also honestly told me that if it hasn’t actually been leaking (losing fluid) then they WOULDN’T recommend I spend several hundred to replace pump/lines/rack. That honest advice, along with their customer service in general, told me that this is an auto repair place I can trust, and one which will not try to milk every possible issue out of their customers. Excellent service, L&M, I will be back!

The most professional shop I've ever been in. All very good guy who care about the condition of your car. I was always treated with respect and they were always just doing the best for my car. I brought it in because jiffy lube actually screwed up my whole radiator and they installed it new one but when I left I was still having issues (which I later found out was also due to jiffy lube) but they offered to look over my car again and see what the problem was got it fixed in a day I highly recommend them for any repairs great service .

From taking my call to quickly putting me on schedule and making me feel like priority number on during my first visit, this team is highly recommended by me for auto repair and servicing. The front desk staff, Frank and Devin, were very polite and fun to chat with. I had to stay in the lobby during my service because I didn't have anyone to pick me up. It is a very spacious and comfortable lobby to hang out it, unlike some auto centers I've been to. I was able to bring my laptop and get work done with sitting there. Mychal worked on my car, and although I didn't really speak with him, he seemed to work efficiently and professional while appearing very knowledgable. This isn't the closest auto center to my house, but I'll likely return with future servicing needs as it was a great experience. L&M does great work without wasting time. Had 2 ignition coils, thermostat and front brakes repaired all at once. The repairs were done in day. My truck runs better than it has in a long time. My car was having trouble starting so I took it in and I thought my issue was a combination of the starter and the throttle body needing replaced, but Sawyer talked me into a diagnostic check and I'm glad he did because it was a completely different set of problems with the same symptoms. These guys were great.... I called to inquire about repairs on my vehicle in the morning. I was given a ballpark estimate, took the car to the shop, it was looked at. They called within less than 2 hrs with what needed to be done. I gave the go ahead. Called again in an hour and let me know the vehicle was done & everything was running great. They checked all other areas of the vehicle to insure no other problems should arise and I went and picked up my car. From start to finish I think the entire process was 4 hrs or less. Bad memories of ignoring noisy rotors resulting in an expen$ive brake job sent me to L&M. I told them it was probably time to change all the brake pads and to give it an oil change, too. Like everybody, I expected the worst. This would be a great chance to pile on a complete brake job! L&M did their thing, road tested it, and called to say it was ready. I came for car expecting ticket shock. BIG Surprise. I paid ONLY for an oil change? (By the way, I even got $5.00 off the oil change!) No charge for going over the calipers. No noise now. They said the noise was gone and I didn't need any brake pads yet! Bottom line for me: when you find smart people who don't try to outsmart you, you tell EVERYBODY so that they will STILL be in business when you need them for your next repair problem. I was in town from California and needed to have a trailer hitch installed on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I had called ahead to get it set up and found out the hitch would have to be ordered in. The day the hitch was supposed to be there we found out there had been a glitch at the shipper and they were out of stock. Frank at L&M went above and beyond and found me another hitch. The hitch he found was scheduled to be delivered on Friday but showed up on Thursday instead. Frank once more went above and beyond and worked me into the schedule on Thursday. Devin installed the hitch and wiring. He did such a great job that it looked like it could have been done from the factory. Just a little back story, I was trying to get my car in the shop because I was taking a vacation and wanted to make sure my car was in good shape before I went. I have always gone to Firestone to get anything done with my vehicle. They (Firestone) quoted me over 1000 dollars in repairs and I just couldn't afford it. I thought my trip was going to have to wait until I came to L&M. I don't know very much outside of the basics when it comes to cars, Firestone let me know that I would need my brakes replaced, so I asked the guys if they could take a look at them while doing my oil change. They were willing to do that and a full check over my vehicle. Turns out my brakes didn't even need to be changed, one of the guys walked out to my cars and even pointed out what I should be looking for when checking my brakes. They went above and beyond what they had to do, the best part is they saved me over 1100 dollars!! They got me in and out in a little less than an hour, I have continued to rave about their service to all of my friends and family. It was crazy to me, I will continue to do business with the guys over at L&M. The guys there have excellent customer service and practice some of the most professional behavior I have ever seen in an auto shop. I was a witness to the situation that triggered the recent bad review. Not going to go into the fabricated review, but I applaud the staff at L&M for handing the situation with complete class and professionalism. These guys are personable, the owner contacted me (while being out of town) and apologized for what happened at the shop. There was no need to apologize, but just the courtesy of checking in put this customer experience to one of the best I have ever received. I've been to dozens of mechanics across multiple states in the midwest over the last 5 years, and L&M has been, hands down, the most personable, honest, and skilled establishment by far. There have been several instances where Devon has explained how I didn't actually need work done on a part of my car that another mechanic may have ominously prescribed, and has advised me well over the last half year that I've been working with them on maintenance that would benefit the cars performance and safety while I drive, without billing me willy-nilly and doing repairs that I did not approve. They have helped me out with 2 of my vehicles I purchased doing 360 inspections, recommending what needs to be done, and doing what I want for a reasonable price. I've been going to L&M for over a year now, first for my Saturn SUV (which is now my mother's) and now for my newer SUV. They took amazing care of the Saturn when I got it; every time I had to take it in for something, they got it done quickly and kept me apprised of what (if anything) I was going to need done in the near future. When I got my new-to-me SUV, my first thought was, "I want L&M to check it over for me" because they were always honest with the Saturn and I trusted they would be again. When I dropped it off for the inspection, I was told they'd call me by mid-afternoon, but got a call a couple hours sooner than that. They went over what was needed immediately, and what could be monitored, gave me the price, and told me it would be done the next day, because they had to wait on a part. Sure enough, I got a call the next day, picked it up after work and was in and out. They don't seem to charge any more than other mechanics, and I know the work will be done right (and only what needs to be done).

These guys are great!! I am scared of mechanic shops. The only times before I have ever had to take my beloved Camry to a shop, it came back with lingering issues. EVERY time. After 13 years of driving it, and minimal maintenance to maintain it, I knew it was time for some work. Well worth it, since it had gotten me through the last 13 years and 4 kids without much complaining. I also knew the work needed to be done right to keep it going the way that Camry's are so famous for. We had also gotten an old Honda van a few years ago that is in fantastic shape, but needed just a little tlc to maintain. Saw these guys, read the reviews and decided to go for it. My Camry runs so smooth again! It reminds me of when I first got it :) We now have our mechanic shop. They are great guys. Their customer service is fantastic, everyone I spoke with was very polite and patient, including the techs that I test drove and talked with about the vehicles. I feel they were honest with the results and what they found. They even sent pictures with the inspection. Since I already had an idea of what needed to be done from others before taking it in, I knew they were pretty spot on for what they reported back. Pricing is pretty average for a repair shop, vehicle repair and maintenance can be expensive and unavoidable. If you have to spend it, the key is finding a repair shop that is worth the money being spent. This would definitely be one of those shops! Thanks again guys!!

I have used Caleb and his guys 5 or 6 times on several vehicles and my 5th wheel toy hauler... They fitted my brand new Cyclone with a custom double tow hitch...That's how much I trust these guys and they did a fantastic job on it! They are also the ONLY people I would allow to service my F450 truck! I was just getting ready to leave for Alabama the other day and my Turbo Charger melted down. I called Caleb right away and he tracked down a new unit for me locally (he spent an hour on the phone doing it) and I limped it in for him! 24 hours later, I'm picking it up from him all done and running perfect! Replacing this on a 2011 truck is a nightmare job! You have to rip half the engine apart to do it! And they charged WAY less than any other shop would have! I rarely refer people to a mechanic but I give these guys referrals all the time and always get great feedback from them about them too! If you need any mechanic work done big or small, use these guys! Once you do, you'll have a mechanic for life that is honest, fair, and do great work including custom stuff!

I got a call mid-morning giving me an update: the front brakes needed new rotors, but the rear were OK. It's refreshing for a mechanic to honestly tell you what needs fixed and what does not. Later that day, I returned the loaner and picked up my car. I didn't even realize until I got home that they had replaced a missing plastic lug nut cover that I had lost weeks ago, now that's service!

I had been struggling with my battery draining for a couple years. When I took it to the dealership to ask if they can look at it, they told me it would cost a certain amount just to start looking plus their hourly rate and then they said they may not even find the issue. There was none of that at L&M. They gave me an estimate and told me they would give me a call when they found the issue. They even gave me a loaner car when I told them I did not have a vehicle to drive while they worked on mine. Not only did they find the problem and get it repaired, they did it for exactly what they quoted me in the estimate. I always felt comfortable when talking with them and I highly recommend L&M for any repairs you need done.

I have a 2011 camaro and I had these guys put some custom brakes on my car. From the time I walked in the door they treated me like I was family they were very honest. The shop was very neat and clean and everyone was super nice!! They have an inspection that they sent to my e-mail that showed me everything good and bad with my car and it included pictures!!! I would recommend this shop to anyone.

I wouldn't trust my car with anyone else! I have a 2005 Ford Escape with a 3.0 V6 engine and all wheel drive. My alternator went out the other day, and apparently this model is extremely difficult to replace one on! They got my car in the next day and 8+ man hours later, I have my car back and it's running better than ever. Not only did they replace my alternator, but they also did a little wellness check on my car to make sure I was good to go. Not only do they handle your mechanical needs, they can also handle electrical. I needed to have trailer brakes installed in my truck for my 5th wheel. Rich, the head mechanic, knew the car from the previous owner and has fixed every tiny thing so it still runs like new. On my first visit I was extremely pleased with the professional and friendly level of service I received and decided at that point that they were my first choice when it came to auto repairs. I recently took a car that I was looking to buy to have an inspection done. I had just came from Bavarian Auto, looking at a used BMW, that gave me a lot of bad news on the car. I was hoping L&M, whom I trusted, would say the car was ok since I really liked the car. Unfortunately, they told me there were even more things wrong with it than what Bavarian discovered and said it was the worst BMW they had ever seen. Of course the car lot scoffed at both review and on and on. Anyway, they even came to jump me when the BMW wouldn't start. I can't say enough great things about the very clean, very helpful, and extremely friendly and Christian staff and the very well maintained and comfortable customer environment. I now have a different car I am looking back but will not buy it unless Levi tells me it's ok! ( Only one complaint.....GET SOME FLAVORS FOR THE COFFEE MAKER, LOL, CARMEL PLEASE!)

I am traveling thru Wichita on business in my rv and needed an issue with my lights on my toad checked out. I called them and they said come on in and in less than an hour they had diagnosed and fixed the wiring issue that the install had screwed up. Then the charged me a more than reasonable price. Hello, I was rear ended in my truck at a drive thru brought my vehicle in for a inspection. Everybody was nice enough but they missed a balljoint that had been dislodged from there mounting surface. This is a very dangerous issue. I know i was a 63bh8 in the US Army all wheels mechanic.
