I was very impressed with how quickly they repaired the dent in the back of my car. I dropped off the car before they closed on Tuesday. The car was ready first thing in the morning on Thursday. The price was very reasonable as well. The only reason I took 1 start off was because the taillight was not taped off properly. I was told that the light would be removed from the vehicle to avoid this situation. I was able to clean the paint off the light by removing it and using some rubbing alcohol. Here are the end results:

FANTASTIC customer service! I called Maaco to get a quote to see if they were able to change my upper front grill since a duck flew into it and left a large hole. They did and for a WONDERFUL price too. I made an appt and when I arrived, I was in and out of there in no time! Less than 45 mins and the job was done and my car was back to looking brand new. From the moment I called I spoke with Ivan and dealt with him the entire time. He was very professional, knowledgeable and a great businessman. Thank you Ivan!

We could not be happier with the service given us on our 2009 SCION. Beyond perfectly matching the somewhat custom original paint color, they went the extra mile actually upgrading the package we bought at no extra cost, because they simply decided it would LOOK better with the upgrade! They also performed several badly needed 'extras' for us, such as replacing all the window rain guard rubber, and polishing our aging headlights better than I ever could. We chose this particular MACCO shop after conversations with others in the area. It was clear they would do the best job.

So happy with Maaco Repair in Tampa, near TIA. They gave us a great quote for a non- insured damage repair, AND, they stuck to their original estimate/quote! Great service, honest, clean, truthful and excellent work. They also have a locked fence and gate around their property which made me feel good about leaving our son's car there. They put the cars through their wash when you arrive. I am so very happy we chose Maaco after getting estimates from four other reputable car repair shops. One shop told us their quote of $4,000 was only an estimate but that it really would cost us about $10k or more. Some shops did not even want to touch the car because we were not going through insurance. All because a tree branch fell on his car at home while he was out of town for work. So, thank you, Maaco, for doing an excellent job and being honest!

Took my vehicle to get some body work and paint the entire car. Told me it would be around 10 days, which turned into 22 days before I received a call to pick up the vehicle. When I picked up the vehicle I noticed imperfections in the clear coat, including paint run and bubbling in the clear. Had to take back the vehicle at a later date to have sections re-clear coated. Overall they did a good job but took too long and inconvenienced me on returning the vehicle for rework.

Initially I was in a very stressful situation which required me to receive service from MAACO. Upon meeting Andre my service advisor he helped guide me through this stressful ordeal. He was very patient and worked diligently not only with myself but with the third party as well to help expedite/coordinate my services. Not to mention the paint job was exceptional! I went for an estimate on my 2019 Dodge Challenger for paint job/scratch repairs, and Andre Lacayo was my specialist. He was FANTASTIC. I had a terrible smudge/scratch from a sad attempt at trying to fix it myself with a dealer paint pen, and he made the eye sore go away in less than 10 minutes. He even went around the car and touched up minor chips as well. I can't thank him enough! Fantastic service, I will definitely be going there from now on and I highly recommend! Thank you so much!

I am rating Maaco a 3. They did a good job but I still notice the details left undone. Additionally, my car had less gas than when I dropped it, it had become infested with tree ants and spiders. I had a frightening ride home.

I had gone to another company and they told me it would take at at least a week, and 2 weeks until they could start and would cost about $600 more. Ivan said it would be done in 4/5 days. This is the 3rd time we have had the need for a body repair on our cars. Based on my wife's experience 5 years ago, we brought my son's car in for a repair after someone backed into his parked car. Ivan (the owner) was wonderful to work with. Since the person that hit my son's car left a note and offered to pay for the repair, we didn't want her to incur a high repair cost and rental car fee. Ivan gave us a very reasonable estimate and short lead time (significantly less expensive than Carsmetics.) The car looked as good as new when the repair was finished and he was actually a little less than his estimate. When does that ever happen? We just recently had to have a repair done that was covered by our car insurance. Again, the repair looked great and Maaco dealt directly with my insurance which made the process so easy. Thank you Ivan and your Maaco crew- I hope to not have to use a body shop again, but if I do, I won't hesitate to trust my car and wallet to you!

My teenager was backing into our garage and clipped the right front bumper on the side wall of the garage entry. Total accident but it did cause damage. We had an estimate done and it was not enough to submit a claim to my insurance company. I took the car to a repair facility and was quoted over $700.00. No way was I doing that. I was recommended to try Maaco on Andersen Rd and ask for Ivan. He was incredible. Eager to help and knew exactly what I needed instantly! I was in and out in minutes but had to return once the parts arrived for my bumper. I went back in a couple days and again Ivan jumped on the repair and had us rolling and back in like-new shape in no time. All that professional and knowledgeable service for less than $100.00. Hands down the BEST experience I have ever had in a body repair shop. Great work Ivan and Maaco on Andersen Rd.

We've been going to Maaco for all types of work large and small over the years. Most recently, I brought my car in for significant bodywork after a collision. Ivan and team were professional, not to mention on time and budget. I was kept updated on status throughout, including a small delay with parts, but the car turned out better than new after all was said and done. Worked with Ivan and team at Maaco to coordinate and repair my vehicle after a collision. I was Impressed with their customer-service oriented attitude and service, including a texting service I could use throughout the repair window to get updates. The team was very adamant about support, including making sure any issues found related to the accident post pickup were addressed, I.E if something related came up that didn’t get resolved. The only con I found were a couple small quirks: 1. New parts installed on car still had stickers on them. Not a big deal and the team immediately addressed on-site, though nonetheless an oversight. 2. Did have a tire issue with a screw size hole on the inside of the tire that you couldn’t see unless you took the tire off. This was something that caused a problem the morning after picking up the car, as I had a flat tire, and also couldn’t air the tire myself. Ivan/Maaco made it right and fronted the cost for the tow truck and repairs to get the vehicle back to the shop, including working with a local tire shop to address the issue. I was able to pick it up next day with no issues! Overall very happy with the work performed, couple small quirks, though the communication along the way was top notch and had me feeling like I had a team that was on top of working on repairs.

Excellent experience. Friendly and competent staff. Assessed a used vehicle I purchased for rust. It did not have rust issues except for a tiny spot on the hood. Person who worked with me - think it was one of the owners - put a little paint on the spot at no charge to me. If I need work done I will come back here.

He walked me out to review it with me, and in determining an estimate was very thorough and took time to explained the rationale for the cost. I took my 2013 Nissan Altima needing two new bumpers , a new fender , and a hit/ dented quarter panel . I was told it would take roughly 8days and I dropped it off on a Wednesday and picked it up on Friday of the next week. I was called the night before saying it was ready for pick up . I was quoted a place around my home 4K for this job. I paid roughly $1.6k and they painted my entire car at Maaco. I was very pleased with the service and the outcome of my car. I had an amazing experience with Maaco and Ivan Jr. I was nervous because this was my first experience with getting major repairs done. I had a lot of questions and Ivan was patient and answered them all. Furthermore, he kept updated by phone throughout the repairs. Before you try a mom & pop, mobile or discount shop, make sure to call or visit this Maaco. My confidence level with them is above 5 stars. Andre and Ivan are very helpful and courteous, and have gone above and beyond on every occasion to make sure I'm a satisfied customer. I asked if they could fast track my repair/repaint for personal reasons and they moved up the schedule which was very helpful. The prices are incredibly fair. Also, I'm extremely happy with the integrated clear coat paint job - they matched my car color perfectly - and the attention to detail on the repair meant I was looking at a finished product like it was brand new. Follow-up Nov 2016: They continue to achieve high expectations. Someone hit my bumper and they took care of it inside two days making the bumper better than the original.

Excellent as always! Danny is such a wonderful person to work with. I was recommended by a friend to use Maaco on Hillsborough for what I thought was minor damage to my rocker panel. I obtained several quotes, and all wanted to replace the rocker panel and charge me a couple of thousand to do it, because they said it wouldn't look right to repair it. I took it to Maaco for an estimate and they said they could repair it and it would cost me around a thousand. They did a fantastic job and it still looks good a few years later. This time I took my car and my fiancé's car in for some damage to each of our bumpers. It wasn't even a question they were the first ones I thought of no questions asked. They came in much lower than I expected, as always. If you want the lowest price on repair and painting that looks like a brand new car, this is the place you want to go. Danny took care of me. We looked over my truck an 03 F250 that had never seen the inside of a garage. The clear coat and paint was peeling, faded or gone. It had a few minor dents. Danny was methodical and went over my truck offering me a detailed estimate. The price was fair for the amount of work they had to do. It's not done yet, but so far I'm happy with the service I've received. The work was completed and it all looked great. About 3 months later it was time for the first wax job. When I got to the roof I noticed the paint was not sticking to the seam sealer they used. I brought that back to Maaco and Danny took care of me again. The work was scheduled and they removed the "defective" seam sealer, applied new seam sealer and painted the roof. My only complaint is that they didn't offer a rental car while my truck was in the shop. Unfortunately, 4 months later when I was waxing again, I noticed the same issue, the paint wasn't sticking to the seam sealer or maybe that the seam sealer wasn't hardening as it should be. I brought it back to Maaco and again they corrected the problem. This time they paid special attention to the seam sealer and that it had cured well before repainting the area. Again, no courtesy car while mine was in the shop, but the work was timely and they were professional from start to finish.

I went to Maaco with my 2006 Mustang (black) to get what I figured would be a quick estimate. I needed a few door dings taken out and wanted to ask about a full re-spray. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Danny. Not only did Danny walk the car with me and explain everything they could do, he also suggested a new Ford paint color (Tuxedo Black). He then took me inside and showed me samples of the paint and walked me through the entire process. He was extremely honest when explaining the different packages they offered. He never pushed one over the other to me, but was able to direct me to the best option based on my budget and expectations. While the car was getting painted, he kept in constant contact with me letting me know how everything was going. In 5 short days my entire car was complete. The quality, fit and finish of the job far surpassed my expectations. It's one thing to have an excellent paint job done, but a whole other level when they make me feel like they care as much about my car as I do. I would not hesitate going there for any job big or small.

This particular Maaco did a very nice job on an older car, a 2011 Sonata, in which the front end and hood was dinged by forgotten pylons on the Vets expressway. (-_-) Unlike other body shops, they were willing to reuse parts that were not damaged, repair my headlight vs. new and were willing to work with misc parts that I sourced on my own because it was cost effective for ME. Given the age of the car I was fine with non-OEM. The guys working on it did an excellent job of repairing, fitting and blending a white metallic paint to match the original which can be exceptionally challenging. I was pleased with the results and my point of contact, Ivan, was very professional and nice. An insurance claim would have been worthless based on the overall cost of repairs and only jacked my rates in the end. Maaco's charges were less than 50% of their competition, none of which, I might add, were prepared to repair anything, only replace ALL items (damaged or not) and at extremely high costs. Yes, I recommend this location.

Long story short, i had damage to my hood and the collision center my insurance company recommended me too took advantage of me. I called Maaco and they picked up the pieces of the mess i was in. Ivan walked me through the whole process of getting my car from the other shop and looked over my vehicle with me to meet my price point. I dropped off my car at the end of the week and Maaco was able to order me a brand new hood, painted and detailed, by the beginning of the following week. They took what was an already stressful situation and guided me, were honest with me, and worked around my schedule and situation. I was able to speak with the same person anytime i called and received updates daily. Lastly, i always get nervous about calling shops because of the pressure of them trying to sell you, no way did i feel that from Ivan or anyone else at Maaco. Something you may want to consider when calling around for quotes.

The high one was purchasing a new bumper while the other 2 were fixing the existing bumper. I picked Maaco because of the reviews more than the price. Andre said it would be 3 days - done by Thursday. It was and the work was great. I was warned that the color would be hard to match on my 10 year old beige Lexus. But you would have to know where it was repaired to tell any difference in paint. The bumper looks new. I was thrilled and they will get my business if needed in the future.

After contacting several car painting companies around Tampa to get the hood of my 2000 Sienna painted (hubby had already sanded it down to the metal), we got prices from $400 on up just for the hood. Finally in frustration, I asked my husband where Earl Schibe was?? I looked for cheap car painting in Tampa and Maaco popped up. It's close to my house, we went over there and met Bob. He quoted us a price of $516 to fix the hood and $16 more to pain the whole car. Guess what we picked? I didn't have a problem paying that much to do the whole car, I did have a problem if it was just the hood. We dropped the car of Monday and picked it up Thursday AM. It's beautiful. All the chips and scratches are gone and it looks like a new car. I'm VERY happy with the service and the customer service. We have a 5 year warranty on paint peeling and a 1 year on loss of gloss. I'd definitely recommend Maaco and Bob and the rest of the guys there were great!

I chose Maaco because I had been referred by a friend, and after shopping around at other body shops, Maaco was the most reasonable. The owner is very professional and prompt on email responses. It's a bummer to have to have body work done on your car, but if you have to, go to MAACO!

Had an accident almost 3 weeks ago and my vehicle had to be towed to my home. In trying to decide where to fix my vehicle, I contact several places that wouldn't even look at pictures of the damage to try to get a round about estimate. I then read all of the reviews for this Maaco and contacted them. Ivan reviewed the pics of the damage, gave me a preliminary estimate (understanding that I had no way to get back and forth from their location and did not want to pay for unnecessary towing to get several estimates). I brought my car to Maaco for a quote after bringing it to two other shops. I needed a new hood after rear ending someone. Junior gave me a quote immediately and presented all options for fixing my hood. I chose the cheapest option because my car is older and I just need to get some more time out of it. Junior warned me that the paint color might be a little off and I said I was ok with it. When I went to pick up my car, you couldn't even tell the difference in the paint. Great experience! Danny D. met me as soon as I walked in the door, and took the time to listen to what I had in mind for my 16-year old Jeep. He was very honest and presented my options without any pressure to follow any particular path. Danny even recommended that I pursue the least expensive route (trim painting only), because the factory paint was still in pretty good condition after being garaged in California for the bulk of the vehicle's life. I was prepared to have the entire Jeep painted, so he didn't need to do that. The final result looks awesome - my Jeep looks 10 years younger! I would definitely recommend this Maaco franchise, and will return myself for future cosmetic needs. Just ask for Danny! UPDATE (3/15): The driver's door on my '97 Grand Cherokee had been making a very unpleasant creaking sound when opening or closing for the better part of six months. But I was either too busy or too lazy to deal with it - as I thought it was simply an issue of lubrication, given the age of the vehicle. After more than a few passenger complaints, however, I decided to finally do something about it. When I looked closely at the mechanism and moved the door back and forth, I noticed that the source of the creaking wasn't a lack of lubrication but a crack in the door hinge. A few more months of neglect and the door probably would have completely fallen off at some point. My first call was to Danny, who asked me to bring it in for a quick assessment. That I did, and a couple of days later I took the Jeep in for what was supposed to be a half-day repair job. About 30 minutes after I handed Danny the keys, I was still waiting in the office for my ride to arrive when Danny walks in and tells me that the work is finished. I made a quick call to abort my scheduled pick-up and took possession of the Jeep once again. I found out later that the price I paid Maaco was about 30% of the going rate for a like repair at a competing body shop in the area - not to mention the quick turnaround. And the quality of the welding appears very professional, particularly in light of the confined workspace between the door and frame. Even more importantly, Danny's crew found two additional cracks in the hinge mechanism while effecting the contracted repairs. And they took the initiative and the time to fix those as well - at no additional charge. Chalk up another one in the “customer wins” column for Danny D. and his team at Maaco!

Uhh WOW. I brought my car there after someone swiped it pulling out in the parking lot. There were a couple of dents and what I believed were scratches. The dealership wanted to charge me over a thousand for the repairs, but when I brought it to Maacos , the guy there told me it just needed to be buffed out. In 15 mins he had the scratches gone and even filled in another scratch from a different incident. It was less than a hundred for the dents and he didn't even want to charge me for the scratches but I insisted I pay him. Wow they are so nice there, and they do an awesome job. I dented my car on a pole while parking it - dented one of the back doors. I initially took the car to another guy, who quoted me an estimate of nearly $2000. I took it to these guys, who quoted me a price of less than $800. They got the car done when they said they would; when I got it back, it looked as if nothing had ever happened to it. I was initially skeptical of all the positive reviews of this place - sometimes companies pay their employees to post fake glowing reviews. But now that I've been there, I believe it. Picked up my 91 Miata today, after having it painted in the 2014 Miata color, Meteor Gray. To say it looked brand new is an understatement. The reason I had Maaco paint my Miata, was due to the reviews I read, all of which were positive, all singing the praises of "Danny." I thought this guy sounds to good to be true. But sure enough, Danny was all that and a bag of chips. Before I actually made the trip to Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting on Anderson Rd., I place a phone call to that location to get a "Ball Park" estimate of what it would cost, to determine if it was within my budget. I spoke to Vinnie, who had a friendly manner, and was inviting in how he explained in detail what the process was all about. Based on that phone conversation, I was sold. I arrived at their location on Monday morning, where a rental car was already arranged with the local Enterprise Rental Car location. I got to meet Danny and Vinnie face to face, where the review the process once again, gave me a price within my budget, and got the ball rolling. 1 week from that Monday, May12th, I picked up my Miata, which looked good as new. Vinnie even went the extra mile, by installing seat covers I had purchased from an after market source, since I'm a clutch when it comes to stuff like that. BTW: I offered to give him a monetary tip for his effort, and he politely declined. WOW! Now that's service! Danny, Vinnie, and the Maaco Team exceeded my expectation, and I highly recommend anyone needing Collision Repair & Auto Painting to get it done at the Anderson Rd Maaco location.
