I brought my truck to Christian brothers on a flat bed tow because it was dead. They diagnosed my truck with numerous problems. It needed a battery, rear brakes, starter and an oil pan. They are honest and professional. Shane helped me out tremendously and he was very courteous. He kept me apprised as stuff was being installed. I can't say enough about this shop. They do excellent work. I highly recommend this place for any work that needs to be done on your truck/car

My mom brought her car in and it ended up being more expensive that she could do. I was able to look at the services required (tire replacement), as well as some recommended ones (spark plugs and other) through a link that clearly outlined why it was needed, price, and urgency. In a followup call, I was able to get info I needed and set up payment. My experience was efficient, clear, and felt honest. I would trust my mom to take her car to them again.

I went to CB for the first time right before Hurricane Ian. Was impressed the team was able to get me in and out same day. My car is older with 151k miles and needed some work in case we needed to travel. The team replaced spark plugs, ignition coil and oil pressure sensors and recommended a several other maintenance items. The cost for those was just over $1500. Everyone was nice and the business was clean and well run. My car runs much better and I'll evaluate the other items in time. My main reason for deducting one star is that I chose CB due to a 15% discount via Costco, but the guy who checked me out only gave me $50 AAA discount. I didn't want to argue the point as they were closing for Ian, but I'm bothered that CB is advertising a discount that they aren't prepared to honor.

On Wednesday, 5 October, Christian Bros repaired my trunk lock so I don’t have to drive with masking tape to keep the trunk closed! We had already paid another auto service company to repair the issue 6 months ago at a substantial rate! Christian Bros repaired the real problem and now all is well. They know their business and do wonderful work quickly and honestly!! Thank you, CB!!

I stopped by as a walk in and I was not expected to have my issue taken care of being that I did not have an appointment but I explained my issue about my car and they had me up and running in no time. Service done to my car was a replacement of my Alternator. The staff was very prompt and courteous with a nice sitting area while you wait for your vehicle to be serviced.

While this place is trust worthy it’s frustrating. I got a diagnostic on my vehicle. Most places apply the fee of the diagnostic to the cost of the work you get done. Not this one. So while they helped me out tremendously and I trust them a lot I found a place who will do the same work for a fraction of the price. Keith is the most honest one there! I will be back for sure

My check engine light came on. The first place I took it to told me I needed spark plugs and some coil something or other ($1500). I then went to Christian Brothers and Jim who was a master Nissan technician just looked at the engine and saw a hose disconnected. He brought me to the car to show me what he found and explained everything in detail. They connected the hose at no charge! I actually cried. As a woman, I am tired of being overlooked and overcharged! I am now going to be a life long customer of Christian Brothers!!!

I got a second opinion from Christian Brothers and knew this was going to be go to place for any car maintenance. Would highly recommend them. The only downfall is they’re not open on weekends, which makes it hard when you also work Monday-Friday but I make do.

They install spark plugs, high pressure fuel sensor and AC motor for one of the doors in the AC system. The AC motor that was installed was defective and they replaced it at no cost to me. I would highly recommend Christian Brothers to any and all people who want quality repair service on their vehicle.

This shop is amazing. I feel like I stepped into the future lol. Their program that texts you updates is so nice. Then it texts you a link to your estimate with clear diagnosis and the ability to approve the job if you like; so no back and forth with phone calls trying to get answers and updates. But if you do want to call, then that’s easy too. Justin is the nicest guy. So professional. So patient. And I had a laundry list of work and it took them maybe a day. My car is running great.

Dropped off my Ford Ranger for a couple suspension issues. The online system that is used helps tremendously. A quote is sent out along with photos of parts that needed replacement such as bushings. The time saved from not having to play phone tag helps tons. I have a couple more parts I need addressed and fixed and will definitely use you guys for a solution.

Went to Ford and they said only great mechanics can change my spark plugs and need a special tool to do so and the best option is to let them do the tune up and they charged me $1800 at Ford on Veterans then I was referred to CB by another mechanic that said Ford was truthful and only the best should do it because of that special tool needed to change spark plugs with out breaking them…. So CB quoted around $600 and did that and more for around that price… oh and didn’t break my spark plugs either and was a perfect Job on all issues I was having. I saved $1200 going with them and got better service!

This shop is awesome! They bent over backwards to try and get my truck back to me asap. Unfortunately for both them and I it took about 3 months with waiting for parts. They got stuck with my repair because another shop wasn't competent to do a quality inspection when they did the timing on my vehicle. But Keith was always keeping me in the loop of what was going on. I would 100% recommend this shop.

Took my car to the Infiniti dealership and was told I had a gasket valve leak which was over a grand. I was recommended to christian brothers automotive by a friend and had them quote the gasket valve leak and they were cheaper by $300-400. Keith and Shane took care of me and took my car right away and had it ready the next day. The customer service was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. I've used Christian Brothers for various repairs on my Lexus ES 350 over past years so I've known Jason the franchise owner for same time period. Jason has always been friendly, cordial, knowledgeable and in general, the consummate professional. In past few months, I've also come to know their customer-interfacing manager, Keith. Keith is my new go-to-guy as he's the one answering the phone. I needed a cv axle shaft replaced and Keith followed up to provide a prompt/accurate repair description and estimate. Keith had to order the OEM part however, because of his contact relationships, he had the part delivered next morning. The repair was completed by end of that same day. Here's the difference with this repair facility... Jason and Keith are honest, credible and can be relied on to conduct themselves with integrity. They are fair, responsible and accountable... they provide quality work and stand behind what they do. Not always easy to find these days. Because of my continued positive vehicle repair experience... without hesitation, I'd recommend this Christian Brothers facility to anyone.

These guys are real! No hard sales, no unnecessary push for any additional services. I cannot tell you how pleased I was with my experience without ever setting foot in the shop prior to the work being done. Telephone communication with Justin and Cody was excellent as they kept me well informed with what was going on with my starter and associated electrical issues. I had to have my vehicle towed in as I was at work and could not drive it in due to not starting. During the work, we had a death in the family and could not pick up the vehicle until the next day. They offered to secure the vehicle inside overnight with no hesitation. Excellent customer service at a great price for the work done. Usually don’t post unless I get an amazing experience, and this was definitely one! Shane! Shane! Shane! that’s the man! I initially went somewhere else to get a quote on my lower control arms and I received a quote of $1300 to fix JUST ONE side. I waited to follow through and my car got progressively worse of course so I decided to shop around and found CBA. By the time I brought my car and took a look at it not only did they send pictures/videos of every problem they gave detailed explanations and listed them from urgent to near future. I said all that to say by the time I left CBA Shane got me out the door right at $2000 for not one but both control arms, replaced my wheel mount hub, got me 2 new front tires, headlight restoration and a changed air filter! Like they say men lie, women lie numbers don’t lie!!! My car took a couple days longer than expected but Shane helped me out once again by cutting the expenses to make up for the rental extension! Not only did I find someone to get my baby back on the road, I found a place to get my cars serviced for life. Thank you Shane! You the man! Thank you CBA!

Customer service was great. The guy that attended to me was welcoming and patient. The waiting area sets the bar for other auto shops to aspire towards. My car problems were fixed to a satisfactory degree. All in all I feel confident in the ability of their mechanics. Reasons for 4 not 5 stars: The wait was formidable! I did not have an appointment, but I think five hours was too long a wait. But to be fair, I showed up on Monday morning. I would have appreciated a better time estimate, I was told it would take a couple of hours. Secondly, I won't go into details but they tried to sell me more services than was necessary. Button line, this place is more expensive than others like good year. However, they have great service, an amazing guest lounge, and dunkin donuts, aka, my favorite place on the planet, is just next door. I'm not sure I'll be a regular here, still want to check out the Good Year on Tampa road, but was worth going to at least once.

Updating this review because I notice that I didn't include a narrative. To sum up I've used these folks to maintain a high mileage Mercedes and they have exceeded my expectations every time. Of particular note was an alternator they installed that after bringing the car in for an unrelated item they noticed something was amiss with the alternator they installed months earlier. Basically they replaced that item again WITHOUT CHARGE when I didn't even know anything was wrong with it! My complete trust and highest rating goes to these folks.

I'm new to the area and stumbled upon CB Automotive for a tire repair, battery replacement, and then heavier work on my brakes/rotors/etc.. First off, the grounds and building are very well kept. Secondly, I am HUGE fan of their customer service. Everyone I've interacted with from front to back end service is really genuinely kind. They offer their customers water bottles and treat you as their neighbor. Thirdly, they utilize technology to communicate status updates, images of the inspection/recommendations they have. Lastly, so far so good on the work they've done on my car, and the follow up is fantastic! Be sure to check this place out if you need maintenance or repairs done on your car.

Where to start? It is so refreshing to find a mechanic you can actually trust, as these days that can be very difficult. Not only does the staff at this Christian Brothers do a great job making sure you understand what is going on with your car, they go above and beyond to make your experience positive. They are so friendly and welcoming from the minute you walk in the door, and the shuttle is very helpful when dropping off your car for same-day service. And unlike what you may find when going elsewhere, you can actually trust what they tell you is accurate. After getting the runaround at two different dealers recently, these guys have done everything in their power to help me. Another thing that sets them apart is the personal follow-up (phone calls, hand-written note) after a service, which from my experience is not at all common in the car repair industry. They have earned my repeat business and I highly recommend giving them a try!

They have the best customer service that I have seen for an auto shop! The owners really seem to pour their hearts into their business. I called 3 Toyota certified shops for a quote, and even though I called Christian Brothers 3rd, they were the first to return my call with a quote. They were so kind and helpful, and put my mind at ease. They did a job for me that the local dealership quoted $1600, and Christian Brothers did it for under half that price. Also, they do not suggest repairs that are not needed, nor do they suggest repairs that they are not 100% certain about. The waiting area and restrooms are very nice and clean. And, the waiting area has free, working WIFI. I wish I had known about Christian Brothers years ago!

Hands down, the best mechanic experience and one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had (and that’s a dying art form). It’s gotten to the point that even if I’m having car trouble over the weekend, I’ll wait until Monday just so I have can the team at Christian Brothers take a look. They’re friendly, knowledgeable, fast and - most importantly - won’t take advantage of you. There has been countless times when I’ve had smaller problems and they’ve been happy to take a quick look, and they don’t upsell for unnecessary things or pressure you. Plus the price is always extremely fair. I really feel like they care about the consumer, and live by the “treat how you would like to be treated” model. A special shout out to Justin at the front desk who always treats me and my family well and makes sure we’re getting the best quality service. Car repair isn’t a fun chore, but these guys make it as comfortable and nice as possible.

My dealership told me my car needed close to a thousand dollars to fix my car, these guys did everything for about 2/3 less! It is hard to find a trustworthy place to work on your car but these guys make it easy and convenient.

We are from out of town and our air-conditioning gave out on the last leg of our trip down to Florida. I went here because they were recommended from my parents. They quoted me $2400 worth of work and it seemed like I should get a second opinion. I called Firestone and read them the list of recommended items, and they quoted me $1200 for the same work. It turns out that Christian Brothers were including the replacement of a part that was not bad but included a lot of labor cost. I'm so glad I got a second opinion because I saved $1200. The most frustrating part is that even after I decided to go elsewhere they still charged $160 "diagnostic fee". Edit**** - Jason, the owner, called me after I wrote my review and explained the miscommunication from his staff. Later in the week, he graciously refunded the diagnostic fee and made things right after this situation. I added stars based on the full experience with the business and not on work performed since I ultimately took my car elsewhere to where they gave me a reasonable quote.

We recently had an issue with an older Nissian Pathfinder starting. The issues was the rear engine oil seal leaking on to the starter. I had that replaced a few years back and Christian Brothers honored the warranty and replaced the oil seal and starter at no cost. This is the reason I keep going back to them . Christian Brothers came to my rescue! My alternator died at the Village Inn and they were able to help me get my car back to the shop and work on it immediately. I brought my car in around 2pm and they had completed the work by 5pm. They were very kind and got me back up and running within a couple of hours. Although I probably could have gotten the part and labor done for slightly cheaper, the speed and convenience for me was worth paying a little extra money.

I went in for an A/C diagnostic due to the air blowing cold intermittently. They were upfront about the $55 fee to run the test. They ended up finding that the A/C would run on low and taking in outside air. They also said that it still qualified for Nissan warranty work due to the mileage and verified it with the automaker. They did not charge me the fee and encouraged me to pursue the repair work with Nissan because it would be 100% covered. Thank you to them for their honesty and helpfulness. I will be coming back.

I have been going to Christian Brothers for over a year at this point, now on my 2nd car being serviced by them. Always a stress/drama free experience, competitive pricing on service, knowledgeable staff, and accurate time estimates for fixes or repairs. I have gone in for standard scheduled maintenance only up to this point but they always inspect the vehicle and let you know if there is something they see that might be of concern. I highly recommend these guys if you are looking for a nice locally owned (franchised) place to manage the maintenance of your vehicle.

My wife found her truck had a flat tire one morning while I was traveling. The spare tire was stuck under the truck, so had no way to get the vehicle to the shop. I called CBA to see if they could assist. They sent two guys to the house that same day. They could not get the spare off either but took the tire to the shop to see if they could repair it and bring it back to install. Turns out the tire could not be patched. We needed new tires anyhow, so ordered them to be delivered next day. They put the new tire on at the shop, brought it back to my house to put it on the truck, then took the truck back to the shop to replace the other tires and fix the spare tire issue. Can't imagine too many automotive repair shops would deliver this level of customer service. They could not be nicer or more helpful! We highly recommend them!

Higher Standards

The best auto customer service I've been able to find to date. Most polite workers happy to try to help you actually figure out what the real issue with your car is rather than just charge you for some level or regular maintenance. On top of that they're more than accommodating by offering a ride back while you wait.

If you are looking for a quality, honest auto mechanic, gives these guys a try. My recent experience proved they actually care to do the right thing for the customer. We had to be towed in after engine trouble. The following morning, technician Justin called to inform us that unfortunately we would need a new engine. Anticipating him to give us the estimated cost, he said he went ahead and called Hyundai and ran my VIN number and found out that we were under an extended warranty and there would be no charge for a new engine. I just needed to get the car over to Hyundai. I was blown away. That would have been a huge bill, but instead of them taking a profit, they did what was right for the customer. We have now found our permanent auto mechanic shop!

My car would run very rough at idle & also started to make a rattling noise. I took it to a shop I had taken it to for minor repairs. I was told all of the motor mounts were bad & quoted $1,700. My coworker said that was very high & that I should get another quote.A friend recommended Christian Bros Automotive Westchase. I explained my situation to Justin on the phone.He was very helpful & advised me that it is very doubtful that all motor mounts were bad, but he would have their technician check all of them.I brought my car to Christian Bros. & sure enough only 2 of the four needed to be replaced.Justin had already located all the parts needed for the job.I dropped the car off at 11 and by the end of my workday, my car was repaired.The bill was $700.I can't thank the staff at Christian Bros enough for their professionalism, fast and friendly service. This is a good, reasonably priced, independent garage near the Westchase area in Northwest Hillsborough County. I've bfought my daughter's car there several times for routine service and for a couple of repairs. These guys are thoughtful, and mindful of their customers wallets. One issue I went there with was an exhaust problem, where the factory replacement item was about a thousand dollars. They actually took the time to find the part on EBay, passed the info to me to order, and installed it for me when it came in. It saved me hundreds of dollars.

Excellent experience! This was my second trip to Christian Brothers in Westchase. First time for an oil change and second time for an oil change and replacing ball joints on the front end. Both trips I was treated fairly and they did not try to oversell me. The entire staff and employees are clean cut and polite, not like some of the crude and inexperienced mechanics found elsewhere. I'm a senior citizen, so I've been around. Believe me when I say you will find no better experience and a fair shake for your money than at Christian Brothers Automotive in Westchase. It turned out that the oxygen sensor wires had been switched when the transmission was installed, causing the engine to run very badly. I had been a very happy customer about 3 years ago. I then bought a new vehicle. I waited for the warranty to run out and I returned to CBA. When I walked in, I was greeted by name! After 3 years! Jason even remembered the old car. Impressive! CBA earned my loyalty back then with recommendations and work done on the Magnum. Heck, they even played a role in helping me sell it by talking with the new owner. I had routine service done this time, all at a fair price. CBA recommended soon to be needed service based on miles and gave me quotes and how long each would take. After my visit, I was texted as a follow up. A few days later, I received a hand-written thank you note from Jason. We also use the CBA on SR56 for my wife's truck. So clearly, we like this brand. A after Sears Auto Care was down I went looking for a new place I saw the shop right on racetrack very close to my house inconvenient another thing I liked about it it was always busy the matter when you would buy this place it was full of cars so I thought I’d give it a try I was right off the cuff asked for oil change they were busy they didn’t have a lot of time but one of the mechanic said he would go ahead and do a quick oil change with the car once over they knows my tires were cracked worn them very old I ordered tires from them 600 bucks for all four tires Plus alignment they always extend their warm courtesy towards me I think me for my service wearing certain the waiting area is comfortable relaxing and they always are friendly they don’t mind taking me out to the service area so I could see the old tires compared to the new tires in short this will be my new auto shop from now on or my car will get serviced and cared for

I am quite impressed with this place. I brought my car to Christian Brothers Automotive to get an evaluation / estimate for a repair. First, I walked into a very welcoming lobby, then it was followed up by great customer service from Justin and Nick. I was updated throughout the process with texts and pictures of what they discovered. When I went back to pick up my car, Ali, the mechanic, took the time to explain what he diagnosed as the problem. I won’t hesitate to take my car to them again. Actually, they are the only place I would trust for my next auto repair.
