I take my jeep SRT to them. They do honest work. Mike always always educates me on the vehicle and very resourceful. One time I had to get my car towed there over night due to engine overheating and they checked it out for me for free.

Manager (Ken), was outstanding with his customer service skills. When I arrived, he noted my cane, and said “we’re gonna get your cat right in…) I didn’t request this and it was greatly appreciated. I was offered to visually inspect the repair with the service tech, we found a brake line fitting loose with a drip. Took less than 15 seconds to tighten. Highly recommend this location .

Really appreciate the folks that work here, especially the gentleman at the front desk. He’s jovial and a great communicator, something that’s invaluable to this work. I used to take our vehicle to the dealer but realize it’s not only too expensive but also quite impersonal. Kevin and his team are super professional. I enjoyed their use of AutoVitals to show pictures and video of their inspection and diagnosis. They were able to get me in quick when other places didn't have openings for days or weeks. I felt respected and there was no pressure to take any additional recommended servicings. I was caught off guard a little bit by the markup on a part (particularly the water pump) but they were more than happy to let me drop off my own part. I would definitely come here again should I need additional help while I am in Seattle.

My catalytic converters were stolen off my Toyota Sequoia and I could not get to work. Shaun got me in with no appointment and I was able to get the work done the same day. Danny did excellent exhaust work. The best I have seen in a very long time. They were able to source the parts and get it installed in a matter of hours. this is a very honest shop. I called and got a quote for the installation of an aftermarket downpipe and a high flow Cat The price was good so I made an appointment. I showed up for my appointment with my parts left my Audi with the guys and went for some lunch. about half an hour later I got a phone call from the shop they told me that this is a little bit more complex then they realized and that they don't feel comfortable performing the job. I said to them no problem, thank you for your honesty. I'd rather have you be honest then faking your way and maybe cause more damage than good. thumbs up to these guys for being honest. I totally respect that.

I took him up on his offer and he was able to fit me in between appointments and I couldn't be happier with the level of service on the first phone call, first visit to drop off, and the second visit to pick up (ahead of schedule mind you). Mike and his team are skilled and professional technicians. I had a bit of a mystery issue with an exhaust leak resulting from shoddy work done at another shop. The technicians diagnosed the issue, got parts in, and repaired it all very quickly. This place is amazing! My BMW's headlamp had burnt out and I scheduled an appointment for an upgrade Led bulb that I had ordered online. After being turned away from 3 other car repair centers (cause they want you purchase parts from them) I was concerned if they'll be able to it. Mike was an absolute delight to work with. To replace the bulbs they had to take both the wheels out of my car as the old bulb was stuck and they spent around 20 minutes to do it. They guy who did my car knew his work so well, upgraded my car's headlamp bulbs to perfection (even though they were not the easiest to replace). Mike refused to take any money for it did the whole thing for free!

A lot of times you brace for the upsell but they charged me nothing because there was nothing to be done and they took photos which will be a nice detail to add to the sale. My catalytic convertor was hacked off and so I replaced it with an after market part and bolted the catalytic converter to the muffler with a clamp. I wanted a professional weld in place of the clamp. Mike talked me through the process and was up front about the pricing. Mike and his team did the job well and called me back in a couple of hours. Brought my car in to have a catalytic converter replaced. First off, very professional on the phone and in person. And Mike was wearing his mask! I’ve been to several repair businesses and most mechanics and service guys are not wearing them. Secondly, he explained everything, even bringing me under my car to inspect the damage and explain the repair. Normally sitting for 2 hours would be annoying but Mike and his team were friendly and personable and the repair cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend!

I've used this location a few times. I find the customer service to be straight forward and pretty honest. Definitely recommend for getting your vehicle inspected and most basic Maintenance done. My last trip I had some maintenance done on my steering system (tie rod related) and the job was done quick and well. I wish they had called me and let me know the work put my alignment way out of whack and asked if I wanted that fixed before I picked up but I was getting new tires the next day anyways so it wasn't a major complaint. Recommended.

Service was orchestrated by Mike at Meineke on Fourth Avenue South in Seattle. I dropped off the car at the appointed time, they did as I asked (oil change and check brake pads) and did it efficiniently. I was back on the road without having to fight the upsell of other service centers. Will take more of our company cars there for service. Solid job, and courteous.

After booking an appointment online at the White Center Meineke, and them not being able to accommodate my van's needs (at no fault of theirs, but they didn't have the staff available note to others, call to verify the appointment prior to coming, these guys are busy!!) they sent me over to the SODO Meineke where Mike told me to come on down so they could take a look at my old, rusted '92 exhaust pipe that had come loose. Danny quickly inspected and provided me with options for the repair. Meineke graciously allowed me to wait in their waiting room while the repairs were being done. Mike handled all incoming customers and phone calls with such respect and consideration, that I couldn't help but notice how EXHAUST-ing this job can be! But with his positivity and humor, he made it enjoyable to wait for the work to be completed. They saved me a lot of money by catering a solution to my current issue and made this experience so seamless that I will definitely return with any oil changes or exhaust needs. My engine was overheating badly on the highway. Pulled off at the nearest exit ramp and called to check their service availability - Mike was kind and professional, telling me to bring it on in and they'd see what they could do. Mike was upfront about the diagnostic cost and we checked the car in. I was concerned that it would be a radiator or gasket issue, but within just a few hours they had diagnosed an air bubble in the system that was caused from a previous repair done elsewhere. Added some coolant and sent me on my way, the car is working great again. I'd recommend Meineke for providing great customer service and quick repair. Thanks for getting me back on the road.

I was told they were mildly busy but they could fit me in so I drove there directly and my car was on the lift being repaired within minutes. My exhaust pipe was cut in several places during an unsuccessful attempt to steal the catalytic converter. Since the car had been sitting for a while, the battery was nearly dead. After jumpstarting it to drive it to Meinicke they checked the electrical system and the alternator and found nothing wrong. They charged my battery for free in addition to repairing the exhaust pipe. They were very friendly, upfront with cost of repairs, and affordable.

The service is generally pretty fast even when they are busy. They didn't push an upsell, spoke plainly and earnestly about what was wrong, what was essential and pointed out the suggested additions that were reasonably relevant. I really do appreciate when a business takes feedback and makes use of it. These guys provide great service, at a great price, with reliable outcomes and swift/accurate service. Would recommend and plan to use their services when needed. The original review is down below for posterity but all encounters since then have been great! Original: Front desk vs mechanic provided different information about needed services. Originally the brakes were not a safety issue according to the person working on them. Then according to Jose at the front desk I need a full replacement of calipers, rotors and ceramic brake pads. As I was leaving they tried to say I could just replace the brake pads but they wouldn't warranty it.

My partner and I both have had great experiences with this location and team after initially buying Groupons for oil changes. The manager, Justin, is very helpful and takes the initiative to make sure the customer understands the repairs and why they are needed. They do commercial size work too so we are planning on taking in our class B van since no one else seems to be able to work on them right now. Looking forward to it!

So impressed with this place. In 50 minutes they changed the oil and replaced both headlights for $85 total. Turns out they don't charge returning customers for headlights! And we're returning customers because the first time we came in with a flat, they didn't charge anything to replace it with the spare. They're fast, super friendly, affordable, and very customer service focused. This is how you make customers for life.

Wow, the owner and/or manager of this shop was excellent. His name was Mike. He or one of his mechanics found out my timing belt broke on a 2007 Honda Pilot with 182,000 miles (about 50,000 since belt was replaced by a dealer). Let me keep it there a couple days while I figured out what to do. Ended up selling the car (argh... make sure to service your timing belt on time, everyone!). Anyways, what he charged for the diagnostic work seemed reasonable. On top of that, he communicated well, worked on a Saturday, and we just all around pleasant to work with (and inspired me to trust him when he said he suggested I don't try to fix it - ie pay him money that might not be worth it!) I'll be taking my (next) car to him in the future for oil changes, fixes, and whatnot. Hope this helps you and your car repairs get taken care of.

Friendly, prompt service. I scheduled an oil change using the Meineke website, arrived and was greeted by Justin. I asked about the added cost of a tire rotation, because the dealership recomended one may be necessary. He took my oil change coupon and advised that if tire rotation was needed, he would move me to the other coupon that included that service. I was told it could take an HR before it was ready, but it was about 20 minutes when I got the call. They checked the tires and deemed that rotation wasn't needed, so I saved some money there, greatly appreciated. If you can schedule an appointment online or via phone, I think that's going to get you in and out faster, as this place had a full lot of cars to work on.

I think he came from the Pep Boys around the corner on 4th Ave, this man has no ethics. I took my car there for brakes out of a relationship with the previous owners and he quoted work that I did not need. I had already gotten a quote from Dave at Meineke and knew he and the other man there were trying to charge me for work and parts I did not require. I had my oil pan replaced here (drain plug had stripped out, and an oversized plug was no longer an option). I’ve done my research calling around to mechanics in the West Seattle / SODO area, and of all of those, Meineke came in at second least-expensive, and they also had the part on hand and were able to repair the car within 24 hours. Most of the other places had wait times between 4 days to over a week. It ended up being $500 out door, including tax, oil change, and new filter.

I had a fairly straightforward repair I needed, a replacement antenna mast & base, but in a short timeframe, by the end of the next day. David was very transparent with me about their workload, procurement, and gave an estimated cost and time. They were willing to let me bring my own replacement parts and used what I brought, which reduced turnaround time and cost. The actual work was done faster than quoted and the price ended up being on the low end of their quote. I'm very happy to have gone here, felt they were honest with me, and did a good job and prioritized the work to meet my timeframe even though I was a new customer.

Jason was very accommodating and got my car in right away, made sure I was aware of money saving specials they were running and fixed every issue that needed attention. Because Jason and the mechanics he oversaw did such a great job and provided such a great value, I will definitely be back in the future. It was impressive how much they could get done in three hours, starting at 845am right when I got there (instead of 11 which I had scheduled myself for) and making my day much more productive. I'd recommend calling if you plan to be a walk in, or scheduling otherwise, but they do great work at a more than fair price. I will be returning!! The service is not as fast as Jiffylube, but it also costs a lot less at Meinecke. The fellow at the front desk has been friendly and explained things without making me feel rushed or pressured. I brought it in again today for a tune-up and tire rotation. The location itself loses a star because it's in a sketchy area that doesn't feel safe, and there's no bus close by to get back home while my car is being worked on.

I got the fan belts changed in my car. There were no problems with the service. I have also gotten my breaks changed at another location. At that time I had to change my break pads AND rotors. Best advice is if you hear grinding in your car when tapping the breaks get them changed immediately as waiting a day or so will mean you have to change the breaks and rotors. Gentlemen at the 98144 location it is time to clean the bathroom or hire a service to regularly do it.

Fast, professional, excellent customer service. Mike was particularly helpful. As a woman, I usually feel very pressured towards "extras" that may or may not be necessary during oil changes. Mike reviewed problems that were identified during the oil change and let me know which of those issues were urgent. He delivered information in a digestible way and showed me pictures. He served his role as a salesman with expertise, all without causing me to feel pressured, clueless, or otherwise uncomfortable, and I left knowing more about my car than I did when I arrived. I would not normally leave a review for an oil change, but this was honestly an exceptional experience!

Great, Absolutely phenomenal service. Mike was the service writer or manager and he talked to me straightforward and was very clear. He was very forthcoming with answers to my questions, And seemed very knowledgeable. He was very respectful and patient with me while I made decisions based on the information provided. If that's not an amazing reason to go to this auto shop, he has the cheapest full synthetic oil change in town. He and his team of technicians are worth their weight in gold. 10/10 would recommend.

I had a wonderful experience here. Mike and Sam helped me with my oil change and even put on my new license plates. They found my battery terminals were damaged and it was cheap to fix. I really liked how Mike patiently explained pricing and answered all my questions. Friendly and funny staff and much more affordable prices compared to other shops. It took less than an hour to change my oil and fix the battery. They also have free wifi while you wait. 5/5 ⭐️ and will be back again.
