I recently purchased a 2019 X3 and noticed there was a kick when I started the car and there was a rattle when I put on my brakes. I took my car to BMW North Scottsdale for my repairs and Thomas and the rest of the service team did an exceptional job with repairing my car. It was quickly performed and I was surprised when the team sent me of video of what they’d be doing to my car. They went above and beyond with checking into warranty coverage also. We buy BMWs, and only from this dealership, because of their excellent service department, which we've used the past 13 years for 6 different vehicles. Our Advisor, Darren Shadle, is excellent. He's very responsive and proactively communicates about repair progress every step of the way. And he doesn't pressure us into services that aren't essential. They complete repairs very quickly. Also, while BMW repair service is going to be more expensive than non-luxury vehicles, they are very competitive in more common maintenance services like oil changes and tire replacement.

A week after purchasing the car my husband had a trip to CA. While in CA the car broke down on him. Long story short it turned out there was a warped head. The folks at BMW not only got my husband home but had the car brought back to AZ where they replaced the motor at a very fair value making it possible for me to keep my dream car. My BMW had a recall that needed to be addressed and reset. It was also due for and oil change, new brake pads, engine coolant and a few other things. First, I love that when you call the North Scottsdale BMW dealership my call goes directly to my service advisor, Andy. I made my appointment for a Monday at 7AM. The second thing I loved was the garage doors opens a couple of minutes before 7AM. I was greeted by a friendly valet who directed me to my pre-arranged loaner car. I met Andy at his desk and went over my work order. He was very knowledgeable and friendly . The third thing was several hours later I was texted a video from the mechanic while my car was on the lift. I think that was the first time I saw the underside of my car. He explained the diagnostics of what was going on with my car. This was extremely helpful in understanding what needed attention and what was critical and what was not so critical. Then a work order menu was texted with costs for a work that was needed. I could even check out online. When I picked up my car is was ready, washed and everyone is friendly. I brought my grandson there in another occasion, he was 6 at the time. He loved the cucumber water and of course the show room with all of the beautiful new BMW’s. Thank you for the wonderful service your dealership provided! You guys have a well oiled machine

My son Kevin had his BMW unexpectedly shut down in Scottsdale last weekend. BMW hotline got his car towed to the Scottsdale BMW dealer. Within two days, car was diagnosed, repaired and Kevin drove his car back to Tucson where he attends school. My BMW service experience was awesome, albeit expensive :). I recently bought a second vehicle from BMW North Scottsdale. The customer service at this dealer is phenomenal! A few months later I had my 1st oil change and an issue was brought up that should have been caught and fixed prior to me purchasing the vehicle in my opinion. It was going to be very expensive to fix and so I contacted General Manager Steven Khouri with my concern. He stepped right up to the plate and said to bring it in asap. I brought it in the same day and he was a man of his word, of course they had to look into the issue to make sure it was legit. In the end Steven Khouri and BMW North Scottsdale did the right thing when many dealers may not have. In this day and age we live in it is not common to find a dealership and people that are honest and trustworthy. I will not hesitate to do business with these folks again. I waited a few days to comment since it was a tire replacement on a run flat tire. Lucky for me they had a replacement tire so I didn’t have to buy 2 tires. I check my tire pressures on my vehicles every month. When I checked the pressure on this vehicle. Every tire was over pressurized on the car. The least was 40 psi and the highest 45 psi. Now come on BMW the pressure recommended is inside the driver side door.

The overall process to drop off your vehicle and pick up was amazing! The cost to replace the air and cabin filters was outrageous! I probably won’t do that operation again. My Service Advisor Keegan was good. The cost of the engine oil change service and vehicle check was not as bad. I was also charged ~$60 for shop supplies which is pretty steep.

Had an issue with my sit belt not retracting and needed to get oil changed and thru service dept car examination my tired were worn to the point of not being worth the rotation cost. The service individual Darrin was great. We were visiting from California and he had the tires replaced after a blow out by the next day. He communicated very quickly that the car would be ready in one day. HOWEVER your roadside service was absolutely terrible. We sat and waited for the service for 2 hours. Then we were asked if we wanted to leave the car unattended. As seniors - 4 of us we decided we could no longer just sit in the dark and wait. The communication was inconsistent from the roadside people. “We are trying to locate a resource” ridiculous. This is my 5th BMW and I will never use your roadside assistance again. Very disappointing.

The rear power window on the drivers side of my 2013 X1 failed. I called the Service Department and spoke with my regular Service Rep, Eric R. I described the problem over the phone and the noises made as the window ceased working. He said from the info I gave it sounded like the Regulator cable had broken, and gave me an estimate of cost to replace the regulator, if his diagnosis was accurate. I made an appointment for early the next morning. Eric came out and said the technicians would open up the door panel and he had already searched inventory for the part that probably would be needed. Wow, this was the cleanest garage bay I’ve seen in my life! Everyone was very professional, personable, helpful, and quick. My window needed a new motor and now it works again; they also recommended a tire rotation so I had that done as well. Since I had it in for service, I had them look at a couple other electrical concerns I had. They sent me a short video showing the undercarriage of my car (which was cooler than I expected it to be) and discussed my electrical questions, which turned out to be a normal part BMW’s smart system and I just didn’t know the car even did those things! A very good first experience with North Scottsdale BMWs Service Dept. My car is still under warranty, so of course take this all with a grain of salt because the window repair was free. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend them for stellar customer service and will use them again next time.

In October we purchased a 2021 X7 from BMW North Scottsdale. Saturday morning we discovered that one of the tires was reading low on the TPM. Checked out the tire and found a huge nail in the tread. Called the dealership and spoke to Andy in service. He assured us we could drive it in (run flat tires saved the day). I originally came in on a recall for my 2007 BMW X3. They did this repair at no cost. However the results of their inspection revealed multiple oil leaks in three potential areas of the engine and one of the brake pad sensors was put in wrong. They suggested a clean up and diagnostic for the oil leaks. They have an interesting process in reporting the inspection results and areas needing repairs. I received text messages with descriptions of the needed repairs with what each would cost. You then could approve the repair or decline it. After I received the text message I agreed to the diagnostic on the oil leaks. The results indicated two main areas. I agreed on the repair on the oil filter housing and the brake sensor for a total of $1354.59. I had asked for new window wipers and for them to take a look at my glove box that I couldn’t get open. Both were done without cost to me which I was very grateful for. The other oil issue involved the oil pan and I was told it was in the beginning stages and repair would be $3800. I did not choose this as I can deal with it at a later date. I thought the service place was very efficient and all the people were friendly and helpful. Overall it was a positive experience! They washed and vacuumed my car and it looked and drove great when I left there! I was impressed that they give you an advisor who has a whole team he manages. They also provided me with a new loaner car. They were really busy yet very organized, professional and efficient.

I had my car towed there and waited in the showroom most of the day. About an hour and half later, My salesman approached me and told me that my starter went out and gave me a cost of $1800 to fix it. I thought that price was pretty high just for a starter and install it. That was the only issue they found wrong with my car. I couldn't believe it was going to be so expensive, Now I live in Globe / Miami area a couple hours away , but I wasn't about going to pay that amount, so now I had to find a ride back home and when I did I ended up staying there all day and until they closed the store. It made for a really long day. It would of been nice if someone would of asked us if we were hungry or even if we wanted a bottle of soda but we sat there patently until our ride showed up. I was given until Wed to have my car picked up but once again had to have it towed all the way to Globe. When I had someone pick it up and tow it back home I was told that I had to pay $185 to dealership to get it out of there lot . This trip has costed me a mere fortune by now and I'm not real pleased with North Scottsdale BMW due to owning a BMW and then paying all kinds of money just to get it home and $185 just to leave it there a couple of days. I will be selling this vehicle soon and will not plan on ever buying a BMW ever again. The staff at this dealership i feel could of done better to accommodate my situation or even asked me if I was interested in purchasing a new vehicle as I sat there all day watching TV. Oh and btw, it was 117 degree temperatures outside that day, and there must of been 20 or more salespeople working that day. Customer service needs improving I feel in my opinion !! The main building was closed for remodeling, but you can tell they're doing everything they can to make the temporary waiting facilities as nice and comfortable as possible. I bought my 2019 X3 at this dealership and recently I have been trying to address an issue with SOS Malfunction. GARY KATZENBERGER has been so helpful in making sure I get to know the time it takes to fix and keeping me informed always. Finally, when I go to pick-up my car, Gary walks out with me and asks me if everything is good and if there is anything else in my car that’s bothering me.
