Had to get my oil changed due to my tight schedule as a nurse, and an overall maintenance check on my car. Was treated with respect and everyone was very friendly. I ended up leaving with everything inspected/oil changed in under 30 minutes and made the appointment very easily the day before. Extremely professional and very fair pricing for the care/quality he puts into his skills. Didn't charge me for inspecting out my vehicle either! No shady charges, no shady fees, and everything was very transparent. Major respect to Salhani, his business that supports his family, and along with his workers. I will most definitely be returning in the future after this first experience. If you need a trustworthy business who works very hard, please do support this place as I have yet to find a honest place until now.

He walked down the street to check out my car within 15 minutes of me calling! Very good service. Was early, but previous client was late which made my wait longer. Pricing was reasonable and they are willing to work with you. UPDATE: I originally came here for my vehicle inspection and the price as I said was great. I had to replace a light assy, tire and reflector and they quoted me the price if I did the repairs myself and if they did the repairs. They purchased the parts, and although they bought the wrong part they received the replacement quickly and put me at the front of the queue. This shows they care about repeat patronage as they care about the customer. I will definitely be back! 👍

By far the best auto shop in the city. They have the most honesty and integrity I’ve even seen at a shop. They care about their customers and aren’t out to just make money. I’m a forever a customer today I took my truck in for one problem that I thought it was and turned out to be something completely different. The staff here are honest, professional, and knowledgeable. They record a video going over any issues your vehicle may have and then review it in detail with you afterwards. Their explanations are easy to understand and you'll leave knowing more than you did before if you don't know too much about vehicles. I'd certainly recommend bringing your vehicle here even if just for getting a second opinion on service or repairs you've been quoted for by other businesses. If not for Salhani, I would have potentially spent over $1400 at Pep Boys, when in reality my vehicle was mostly fine and did not need such extensive service.

When I called I asked if I could get serviced the same day and they said they could take me ( this was so last minute and I was so happy). Very professional and informative. I went in thinking I needed to change my brakes, and was told that the brakes were still good, and that I didn't have to spend the money to change them yet. They could have easily just changed the brakes and took my money (which I was ready to pay), but instead they stopped me from making an unnecessary purchase, and informed me of when I actually needed to get my car serviced. They're very trustworthy, and look out for their customers. I will definitely be coming back here!

This lead me to performing a quick search online and coming across Salhani Auto Service; impressed by their multiple 5 star reviews-- I gave a quick call to the auto shop ( to confirm if they provided the inspection-- which they did) and was immediately given the okay to bring my car down. From there, I was assisted quickly with my transactions & well updated about my car, which put me at ease because I have no experience or interest in cars ( I just drive). These guys are knowledgeable and honest. Last month I came in for a vehicle inspection. During the service I got a call from them saying one of my tires needed to be replaced. They replaced the tire quickly and it was reasonably priced.They also provided other suggestions regarding my wheel alignment. My car was serviced efficiently and quickly. I went in to get the pa inspection and minor brake issues. The guy up front was very nice and informative. I got no brains for cars but he explained everything so i can understand what’s going on with my car. This is definitely NOT one of those places you get ripped off if you dont know the car stuff. Have been coming here for many years , they are honestly the only shop in the area I trust with my car , the main thing I love is they never try to sell anything , they give information on things that might need to be replaced in the future but even that’s just a recommendation.. there have been times I went to the dealership and was told certain things needed to be changed but when I come here to get the work down find out only 1/2 of that is true.. It’s to the point I feel like family coming here, the old man is hilarious and the son is flying around the shop getting things done like he has a firecracker in his Butt 😂

Went in for an inspection for my 2018 Buick Encore. I was in and out in about 30-45 minutes. The cost was very reasonable $53. Great service. Guy who runs it was super nice, his father started the business. Highly recommend and will return for regular car maintenance.

As promised by neighbor this place is honest- love how owner shoots a video of repairs needed.. such a transparent way to do things.. really puts you at ease! After booking an appointment for a state & emissions inspection, the whole process was fast and professional. It took me 45 minutes to get my car inspected which gave me enough time to head back to work. They made sure to go over the inspection details to let me know how my brakes and tire treads were doing, this gave me a good estimate on when I would need them to be serviced. I was looking for a new place to take my vehicles, since the previous places either overcharged or were unprofessional. I found this location on the internet. This was my second phone call, the first went something like this.(another shop) Me: Good Afternoon Shop: What do you want? Me: I’m attempting to have my State Inspection done. Can I make an appointment? Shop: Do you think I’m a mind reader? How would I know what I’m doing after today? I guess he’s never heard of appointments, anyway I didn’t go there. As I said previously, Salhani was my second phone call. The shop owner answered and was professional and I made an appointment. The day of was more of the same. The shop was polite, professional and understanding, not only to me but to other guests. Also, the prices are in-line with what you expect. I was charged $46 for a state inspection. In previous shops I’ve been charged well over $100 when the add emissions cost, smh. Anyway, I highly recommend this shop and will be returning.

I called in regards to new brakes for my Subaru and they guy who answered expressed to me that he was very busy but he’d give me a call back! Guess what he did? Not even an hour later he called me back and set me an appointment at the earliest convenience. On my appointment date, I pulled up gave a quick description of the problem, released my keys, and went on about my day. During the time that my car was in their possession, I was contacted with updates which I appreciated very much! They were very patient with me as I didn’t know exactly what was going on with my car and had a hard time explaining the issues. Great experience here getting a inspection, The family run shop was very busy and there was a bit of a wait but, I was treated nicely. I initially went in there because my left rear tire was leaking air. In about 4 to 5 minutes after I got there, they already had my car up on the lift and they had found one of the nails. Moreover, they ended up finding multiple nails in my right rear tire as well. instead of me having to deal with the headache of another tire leaking air, they took the time to inspect the rest of my tires for any such problems. A few minutes later, they had fixed my initial problem, and had sealed multiple holes that I did not even know I had. But more than just their work ethic and attention to detail, everyone I met there was extremely personable. You can tell that, to them, this business is more about having their customers leaving content than anything else. Another weird thing I noticed was that, all the other body shops I've been to, the customers tend to wait an hour or two, on average, for their work to be done. I was there for about an hour (20 minutes for the work and another 30 to let the sealant settle and solidify) and in that time, I must have seen 4 to 6 people come in and out. This place was like a fast food chain just delivering car service at an incredible rate. Maybe I caught them on a more relaxed day (highly unlikely as this was on a Saturday afternoon for reference), but I think they're just good at what they do. All that to say, I'll definitely be back for any of my car troubles and I would highly recommend checking them out for any of yours!

Dropped my truck off late Thursday for a heap of known existing issues that needed repair and inspections. I had pricing the following day. The shop was busy when i dropped it off and it’s closed on weekends so i wasn’t expecting to see my truck for atleast a week. i once over heard a co-worker talking about the the dealer wanted a ridiculous amount of money to fix his car. he said he took his car to salhani an they cut the price in half. i decided to take my car here for maintenance. that was 5 years ago. i have brought 4 different cars here. their prices are always cheaper then the dealer an i feel i get the same quality of work. they have a long family history of mechanics. the owners an mechanics are very nice. they have loyal customer base. i recommend this mechanic to anyone no matter the car

This is a great place to get your car repaired. They have great customer service. They are very knowledgeable about diagnosing what is wrong with your car and fixing it quickly. No long waits like other shops. I was there yesterday for my 2012 Honda Accord. Instead of all the run around they diagnosed my problem, repaired it and I was back on the road in no time. Great place to get your car fixed for whatever the problem may be. I came in for an oil change and a slow leak on one of my tires. They not only did the ou change and filter but also refilled all my fluids and checked for other issues (I know that's their selling time but I wasn't pressured at all to do any of it). They plugged my tire for free after everything was over with. Great business even greater people!

I was drawn in by a word-of-mouth recommendation, low inspection price, and their tactfulness in relating to customers. For women with anxiety about trying new mechanics because of that age old myth that you’ll “just get ripped off,” the myth stops here! Philly can be a weird place, especially in the north east. I saw none of that commonplace discrimination you hear about on any level. Even customers in a hurry, who might pose difficult to busy technicians doing intricate work, were treated with the utmost care and humanity. I always do something annoying or extra like park my car in an awkward spot because I’m a spaz driving on the expressway...or whatever. It was no problem for them. They moved it for me because they are just cool. I went back for rear brakes in the same week and have to say the experience was consistent. I will be back for the next service on our vehicle and recommend y’all try it out.

Got new brake pads, rotors and a caliper the other day. This was my second visit here and I was very pleased. My first visit was for my annual inspection which was quick with no bs. I always try to cover all my bases and make sure my car is pretty good before I take it for inspections to avoid any surprise expenses, but other shops I've been to always "find" some issue (e.g. a light bulb, a wiper, etc.). I didn't have run into this at Salhani (Mustafa just told us some of the work that we might have to do later on) so I decided to return to get my brakes and oil done. Mustafa was very thorough and tried his best to save me money by minimizing the amount of new parts that we would need to purchase. I waited at the shop while the work was being done and he made a point to come in frequently to update me on the process. I really appreciated that he did not treat me like many other mechanics I've been to. He kept me informed of the situation and was very detailed without being condescending. Many other mechanics don't like to explain things to me and treat me as if I'm ignorant because I'm a woman even though I do in-depth research on any issues my car has. I loved how transparent Mustafa was about everything. He was more than willing and happy to walk me around the car to see the work that was done before he put the tires back on. From my research, I thought the prices were very fair and reasonable. I highly recommend this shop and will definitely be a loyal customer.

Mustafa told me I would need to replace my ignition before it goes out the last time I brought my car in for an oil change but I did not listen. So it turns out he was right. My ignition finally stopped working and I had to take it in to be replaced. The mechanics at Salhani will not suggest or tell you to get something done that you don't need. This is an honest and quality auto repair shop. I really appreciate how they put my steering column cover back on after I popped it off and damaged it trying to quick fix the problem myself. I did not expect that. I will continue to bring my car here for repairs and services. These are the only mechanics I trust to be honest in performing and suggesting services and repairs actually needed and quoting and charging affordable and fair prices.

Salhani Auto Service &Sales is a fairly good auto repair shop in Philadelphia and family owned business. They work on both foreign and domestic vehicles . Both Muhammad Salhani and Mustafa Salhani are very professional and were knowledgeable in regard to any automotive questions or issues that I had .They did diagnostics on my car to let me know what was wrong and replaced my car starter for $421 dollars which is pricey, however it would have been more expensive if I had went to a dealership. Although they were not able to redress all of the problems with my car, I would probably recommend this place to both my friends and family. I hope that they continue to grow and to vastly improve as a business and I would definitely be willing to do business with them again in the future at some point. .In addition they also have used high -end cars for sale on their property . Please be sure to keep in mind that after 24 hours after repairs are done they will charge you over $55 dollars for everyday that your vehicle remains on their property. It is also better to pay in cash otherwise there is a sizable tax added to your bill .Finally there is a down payment that you are required to pay before they will take your car off of the street corner on front of their shop and inside of the property to commence repairs. You can then pay off the balance afterwards. As for my car, I will most likely for the sake of frugality just trade it in for another European made car that is a more recent iteration and that is in much better condition. This would be more economical in my opinion.

Came here to do a wheel balance, not only was the pricing super competitive but they did checks on my car and notified me that my reverse light was out and that my belts were due for a change. Mustafa showed me a video of a BMW 3 series where he recently worked and saw similar signs in the engine bay area where the belt has snapped an got caught in the crankshaft and destroyed the main seals causing catastrophic failure. His 5 mins check saved my 335i's life. Forever in debt. Very good people, and very quality work.
