MISS BOSS

The other day my passenger side tire on my truck was completely flat and totaled. I must've ran over a nail. No way i would have made it home. Luckily I was able to make to Newark Car care. They have a man named Steve that actually went to another location to get me a new tire due to the fact that they didn't have the one i needed in stock. It was scorching outside too. Meanwhile the staff was very accommodating. I sat in the air conditioned waiting room with my newborn baby and they took care of everything. Please come see these guys. Everybody and I mean everybody was polite and I didn't come across a rude soul at all. I even ended up getting a oil change too since i was already there. Come see these guys!

This place came highly recommended by a friend. They open early and convenient for me to drop off my car and pick up at the end of my work day, for minor repairs. They offer reasonable prices and I have never had an issue with the service on any of my vehicles. Staff are pleasant and knowledgeable.

Our car was towed to this car shop from AAA. They were great throughout the process. They had to order a part for delivery and we were worried that it wouldn’t come before the holiday weekend. They made sure to expedite and fix the issue next day. The communication throughout was great. I would highly recommend them.

Quality work but much disorganization. I asked for a front headlight and oil change. They did the oil change but failed to replace the headlight. Working two jobs, my time is limited and allotted. When I take the time to have something done, I don't want to have to return the following day to rectify an oversight.

I always bring my car here for regular maintenance and oil changes, and decided to take it here when my car started vibrating at high speeds. Eldon there made sure I was well taken care of, providing me with updates on the repairs being done throughout the day, gave me a great deal, and had my car ready for pickup by that evening. I’m from Baltimore Maryland and I was strained in New Jersey in a city I am not from. Most of the auto shops in the area were close and the ones that were open could not help me except this one. They actually stay open until my car was towed to their center and immediately started to work on my car and told me the problems that I was having. Not to mention, the price was reasonable. When I say they are excellent in communication and honest with the work I mean that thing. However, I still have to go get my car from them and drive it back here to my home town but I trust that the work is at its satisfaction and I am grateful for them to work on my car. I HIGHLY recommend them. Even if your visiting out of town, go to them please

Just had my car towed by AAA and I specifically asked to be brought here. I have used this location many times in the past for regular maintenance and unexpected repairs. Fair and straightforward pricing. Clear explanation of the work needed and great service. As a single woman who is not car savy going into an auto repair shop it can be intimidating. I always walk away feeling like I was treated with respect and confident in the job done.

No too much expensive. They will create another problem that never existed in your car. And claims you came with it. You pay for services and they make sure they find other fault that will make you panic since you are not a mechanic. You will end up paying more than you anticipated. And if you disagree you drive the car those problems that were not there will start manifesting. Now your car is in danger. If you do not have money, you will end up being worried. So it was my personal experience with them.

These guys took good care of us. We were traveling out of town when the starter went out on our van. We got a tow to this garage, and because we were from out of town and had a long drive to get home, they looked at the van right away, figured out the problem, ordered parts, fixed it, and had us back on the road in a couple of hours! Not to mention that they were friendly and fair, and they really seemed to care about is getting home safely. I can't begin to say how lucky and grateful we feel!

I went in for an oil change and being a woman to a new place I was a little nervous of being taken advantage of, but to my surprise I was given a copy of the manufactures recommendations for my car and I was shown the condition of my engine air filter. Even I could see that it was dirty and needed to be changed. There was no pressure or pushing services on me and I was very happy with the service that I received. I will definitely be back to have my car worked on here. I also liked the fact that the service was quick and I was in and out pretty quickly.

I had when to take car in for a grinding nosie they had change the crank shaft,water pump, and my timing kit which came out $712.00. I still have the same problem now they told me it may me the alternator. They should have told me that from the begin . I only come here for oil chan changes. A high mileage oil change for your typical 4cyl car will cost $58 with taxes & fees. The guy that oversees the technicians (slim black guy) is very friendly and professional. He's been around for several years and is very approachable. I trust his judgment. One of the better places to go to in Newark for a quick oil change.

They fixed my breaks and front axel but it was NOT CHEAP!: I paid nearly 700 dollars. This was 2 years ago. This year, I referred a friend for a oil change and a price that was dragging under their car...they were charged $280.... prices are too steep. We both have Fords. 2005 explorer and 2006 Taurus. .

Tire issues on the Garden State. Towing a 24’ trailer behind a 42’ RV. WILL “Mr. Awesome” told us to come in and he could handle it (minutes before closing time). I swear we were only there for 15 minutes at the most!!! Thank you WILL!!!!! Beers on us tonight!!!!!

Leon, Jose and Mark are great and have taught me a lot about my cars. As a young woman its nice to know i'm not being taken advantage of and that my cars are repaired correctly. If you get in early, you can be in and out for an oi l change. Best to make an appointment or come early for major car service. The staff is always pleasant to work with. I've been coming here for over 10 years.

These people literally saved my life. I was incredibly late for a meeting when my car over heated and and I was near Newark Car Care-- i pulled in --saw guy at front desk-- and even though they were really busy they still had time to see my car and tell me what was wrong..they even gave me a ride to my meeting in a mini van they have just for customers--wow-- after i returned they fixed the issue after a small wait and i was on my way-- Thanks guys.. the TV and cold water station in waiting room made it possible to get through that hot day-- I would just suggest perhaps a snack station or something :-)
