My front bumper and grille had a lot of scratches and a broken hole. At first I requested for a quote but the photo I took was hard to see the actual details so I decided to show up the same day. I instantly received a quote from Alex and was going to tell me the total of everything after figuring out how much certain pieces cost. The communication was prompt and I put a deposit down instantly because of this. After a week, the parts came and I handed in my car and was told it would take 2-3 days but I got super lucky and got it back in a day. This has been the best repair service I've ever received.

If NYC (or PA) streets mess up your rim or tire you have a lot of choices. If you want reliability and honesty you’ve found the right shop. These guys are legit. They have an incredible operation here and get things done. Alex knows cars and his team is on top of things for their customers. Your wheels will come out looking new at a reasonable price. If your rim is beyond repair they’re even proactive and look for a replacement for you. This is what customer service is all about. I recently found out They also do more than wheels! Our inspection was due and they were able to take care of that easily also. You’ll be in good hands here and rolling again quickly.

Called for an oil change and basic maintenance but needed it completed same day and quickly; car had an issue. . I then called and spoke to Alex. He was able to get me in even requiring special oil and filter. Amazing! Service was great and professional! Alex is the best.

I’ve been a customer here for about 6 years and I’ve never regret bringing any of my vehicles here. I have a 2007 Cadillac and it’s in great shape thanks these guys, they are great and your car gets fixed very fast. My 2018 Dodge Charger was in the body shop due to an accident and when I went to pick it up I was surprised by how new it looked, they did a amazing job fixing inside, outside and all areas that was impacted in the accident. They even got the paint color correct. All payments were out of pocket so they give me time to gather my payments and didn’t charge me a storage fee. Once I had my payment ready my car was ready in 2 weeks. This is the only mechanic I visit when ever I have a issue with my vehicles. Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended.

The turn around times on repairs is like no other place I’ve seen. Came here to get my headlights fixed my wheel hub bearing replaced and a few other repairs and they turned out wonderful. I took my car to Repairs on Wheels for a new tire and rim fix after hitting a big pothole on the turnpike. They were able to fix my rim with a small dent and replace my tire very quickly. They also fixed a small issue with an odd noise. They took the time to explain what was wrong and offered a very fair price to fix it for me. The service was excellent and the guys in the shop are all very nice and professional. I will definitely be back.

I was called with a diagnosis in less time than predicted, and with all the work you had to do, the car was ready when you said it would be. I went to these guys on a recommendation from another shop. I didn't need an appointment. They promised me my car in 24 hours and the next day my car was ready. My rims were brand new again and they did a great job with the repairs on the busted rims and the coating . There's a lot of nitpicking on these reviews about stuff that has nothing to do with the work . The work was excellent the customer service was great because I didn't have to go back and forth with anyone I dropped off my car called and they said it was ready and I picked it up. These guys did a great job Alex and Stan good dudes Originally quoted me $500 that was just through a picture. Decided to drive down in person Alex brought it down to $375 really reasonable. They were quick and you can see by the pics good craftsmanship! Deff will use them for any body repair in the future.

Had a 22" bent rim and I saw it was pretty bad in my eyes but Alex the Tech said 5 different guys handle the rim at various stages of repair and if it can't pass a safe repair it will need to be replaced. In my case was not bad and repaired perfectly. Highly recommend. TY

These guy's are great!, had my Honda vehicle issue with ABS and VSA fixed, they are team of professionals, reliable and busy at times. They close late for working folks that can always depend on them for any repairs. Sean and Alex are great to work with and trustworthy! They also noticed that after previous mechanic at different mechanic shop when they installed catalytic converter they damaged exhaust pipe and brought up issue to be have it corrected and had them install a new one.

They really got me out of a jam. I had to get my car towed late at night and they were one of the few places open that had credible reviews. I went there expecting to get taken advantage of. This shop did an amazing job for me repairing my rim. So basically I was on my way home from work one night and I heard a little bang. So I thought ehh no big deal am i right. Like who cares if i ran over another squirrel. So the next morning when I came out to my car and saw a flat tire I was so upset. So after trying to find the hole (That's What She Said) I wasn't able to find (That's also what she said) I gave up and brought it into a shop in Philadelphia where I was for the night. They wanted a minimum of at least $500 to repair my rim. So instead I rented a car drove the time into these guys in Brooklyn. And whamo they fixed it for me for about $95 and it was still cheaper with the rental car even. These guys did an amazing job and were so quick with it to. I think I found my new favorite car shop people place.

They did such an amazing job on my wheels! My right front wheel was super scuffed up and the back had a bit of curb rash, took it to Repairs On Wheels after being referred by Polishing Pad and I don't regret my decision one bit. Looks brand new! Hard to believe it ever had curb rash. Employees were also really nice. Will be coming back if need be in the future!

Came here cause I got tired of Bay Ridge Nissan's service center ripping me off and cause I scratched my TSW Wheels on the curb. I dropped it off on a Friday for simple oil change and NYS Inspection as well as repairing the curb damage on the wheel. Picked it up on Monday and the wheel looks brand new. The paint match was really close, which I was surprised at. Price was just right. The manager I spoke to was really friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend this place and would come back here again

The accident happened around 8pm so I was very grateful they were open and able to take my car that night when many other shops were closed for the evening! They were very active in communicating with the other parties’ insurance, easy to reach throughout the process, and pleasant to talk to each time. Even though it was my first time using their shop, I felt like I could trust them. I stumbled across Repairs on Wheels initially because of their amazing hours of operation. I loved my previous mechanic but they aren’t open late nights or Sundays. Started dropping off my car to ROW and they are now my go to mechanic, which says a lot, I loved my old one and good / trustworthy mechanics aren’t easy to come by. Had a oil leak. Checked Better Business bureau website and it was accredited, so i figured I give them a try. Brought it in and spoke with Alex, had a repair done of $477, they replaced the VVT gasket, valve cover Gasket set and valve cover gaskets. Still had a leak. Brought it in again, so they changed the transmission line for $$125, still had a leak. Very much trial and error. Then they suggested change the radiator for another $450. The leak under the car was the same color and not different fluids. I said No Thanks as I'll go back to my original mechanic, who was away on Vacation.

Repairs on wheels doesn't have full service at night, only from 8am to 5pm. At night, just for oil changes and all other basic stuff. They need to hire people who can fill the void. I tried getting my driver window fixed because it was not working, but they didn't have the personal available.

EPC light came on 2016 VW GTI. Error codes read by ROW, recommended 40K scheduled maintenance and engine tune-up ($600 job). Got it done. Picked up car, drove less than a mile, EPC light comes on again. Went back to ROW and 2-3 hours later received turbo replacement recommendation. Still waiting for parts & labor estimate from ROW (1 day later). I have been going to ROW for years and very happy with their service. Until now. Will post updated review after conclusion of this episode.

I have been coming here for eight years. Started coming based on their excellent yelp reviews. I have complete trust in this business. They are competent, efficient and very fair with their pricing. I have never had to return here after a repair was made because the car was not working again. Once something is fixed, it stays fixed. I have never been taken advantage of because I am a woman. That work ethic is not embraced by some workers unfortunately. Your results will vary with this shop. I just got the guy that didn't care or had a bad day... maybe I should have passed him a tip before leaving. There is a very busy volume driven workflow happening and that did not produce a refinished wheel meeting my standards. That being said, this company is the benchmark for rim repair in the area with the most positive ratings, referrals and recommendations compared to the 2-3 other more expensive competitors. I won't hesitate to give Danny my business because he's a great guy and loves his trade. My wheels run straight and shiny. I got my money's worth. Recommended to friends and family

In a sea of Coney Island Ave. maintenance shops Repairs on Wheels stands head and shoulders above the rest. These guys will shoot you straight and the work is done fast. I needed tires and brakes looked at, walked in told em the deal and drop off took about 5 minutes, within 90 minutes I got a call back with a no pressure diagnostic of what I had asked for an a few other things they noticed. The quote was what I expected no hidden charges or 100$ wiper blades. The work was done super fast and was excellent. The shop is big for the area, they must have about 6 or 7 bays compared to maybe 3 bay shops on CIA. Hands down the best NYC car maintenance experience i've had in the last 10+ years.

Alex , the service manager was most accommodating and service oriented . I left the car and he got back to me within a couple of hours as promised . He gave me a heads up on what needed to be done and made me feel confident the job would get done and be done right . Later in the day I got a text the car is ready for pick up . All work was completed and the shifter feels great , crisp , short shifts . Sean the evening service manager was most accommodating as well . He explained to me the work that had to be done and why . I was very satisfied. I highly recommend this auto shop for their professionalism and the no nonsense customer oriented approach.

On my last visit, my cars computer was complaining and I had to take the car back twice for a simple oil level issue. Called today and they were able to fit me in their schedule for an Emissions Inspection check. I came right after work and since they had a few people working already I was asked to wait about 15 minutes. Not so bad since it a appointment for the day of. I bought a Groupon ($19 very worth it since regular check is $37). Sean helped me register and applied my Groupon. Process to look at the car took less than 15 min and my car passed the inspection since no lights lit up. Very friendly and answered any questions I had. 100% would come again.

Hi I went in cause I was in desperate need of an oil change!(no really!) the last place I went to really screwed me and a little over a week later because of their screwup including not capping the tank I was at negative on my oil(never happened to me before). This place was professional in its treatment of me as a customer and did a great job even checking to make sure nothing else was screwed up when they saw the mess the last place left, and they finished in a timely manner. They were a bit expensive ($70) I usually spend anywhere from ($40-55)on the same, but aside that I would recommend them with that caveat but that you can also be confident they do quality professional service.

I just got a tune up and oil change. The mechanics here are awesome. Recently I was lied to about the repairs needed on my car. The mechanics at this location were honest. I came in for new router's and breaks. Instead of taking my money they took me on a ride around the block to show me that my breaks are fine. He even explain to me what type of noise and grinding to look for when i do need breaks and explain the state inspection to me for free. I went back for my headlights and break light which was done in 10minutes. Their prices might be more expansive then other shops but their honesty is worth the piece of mind.

Main message: very professional service. Backstory I called about my Nissan sentra 2013 idling at a stops/ red lights and being unable to drive when I press the gas pedal. The Repair on wheels service technician I interacted with educated me on the issue. Also, appreciate that they were honest about what each option would cost me. The fact I love the most is that they're open 24 hours most of the time. This is huge for me, as I do quite a bit at night. Why can't more places do this, like my gym???? LOVE THESE GUYS. I brought it in. No wait they took the car in and started on it. Price was very good. Could not deny them. SECOND TIME. Radiator was leaking at the fitting. Usually the radiator has to be replaced which is a 300$ job and i couldnt afford it. They worked with me on finding a different solution and found a new fitting and seal and made it right. I sent a text if I could bring my car for brake pads on a Sunday morning. I got an answer within 5 mins, “Sure, bring it over”. They work with military precision getting people in and out quickly. How many places replace rotors and break pads while you wait?! Guy took me to my car to show me what needed replacing. Checked calipers and told me they did NOT need to be serviced. Told me price at the start. And they had fresh bagels and coffee! What more can you ask for when it comes to auto-repair? Amazingly good experience!

There's no enough people to work in this place so it takes a lot of time to fix a rim, the prices are not cheap and the clerk didn't show me how much is going to be the real price, he only give me an estimate. If you want you ring in 2 or three hours that's not going to happen, I was waiting outside for 8 hours for my rim to be fixed on Sunday. The clerk told me is gonna take no more than 3 hours, it would be a good idea if you leave the rim in their shop and come back in the next one or two days. And the meantime I cannot make long tips with a spare tire.

When I first got there they didn’t have power but the man who I believe owns the shop still managed to get me in and out after getting power on in a reasonable amount and time and was very attentive to my concerns and answered all my questions patiently unlike a lot of shops in New York. An honest repair shop! The only place I feel comfortable bringing my car, they not only don’t overcharge or over-diagnose problems, they’re also able to figure out and fix problems that arise. Case in point was when my ABS was having trouble. Lexus of Manhattan was going to charge thousands of dollars for a new ABS system. Repairs on Wheels diagnosed a failed sensor and charged $146. They could easily have tried to take advantage of me on my first visit, which was to have my car inspected and have my Rhode Island plates replaced with my new NY plates. The car is old and I would not have been surprised if something had been raised as an issue - but nothing was raised. They were courteous and my inspection was done quickly with no hassles. I’ve been going here for oil changes and state inspections. During Covid got my AC fixed. Honest and fair pricing. Just recently I drove over an uneven road and my car started to make a deep rumble when I accelerated and wasn’t smooth going over 2000RPM. Worst case scenario, it’s an issue with the transmission. They drove it around and properly inspected it. It i turned out to be a break in the exhaust and no transmission leak/issue. If it was a transmission issue, it would have been an expensive repair. These guys properly diagnose the issue and the pricing is fair. I would recommend this shop to anyone!

I was looking for a place that could do an inspection quickly; did a google search and came across this place. I called at about 8:30 am on a Sunday morning for an inspection and was told to come in. Once I got there, they told me to drive in right away and got started on my inspection. Turns out that I needed new rotors, break pads and caliper pins. I thought I may have to leave my car while they got the parts in and come in later in the day, but they had everything in and got me back in my car in just an hour and a half. Prices were affordable and a much better deal than any other places I have been to. In regards to customer service - amazing. Al and Russell were very attentive and made a great effort to make me feel comfortable as a new customer. This is the first time I am treated with respect and warmth at a service shop. Will definitely return for all my car needs.

I had a slow leak and needed a flat fix shop. By chance I came across Repairs on wheels and am now a new and enthusiastic customer!! As I pulled the car in, I mentioned that I was having ABS lights coming on and if possible could they check it out. They fixed the flat immediately and after hooking up the computer for diagnostics they realized the problem had been a sensor indicating the under inflated tire. Once they reset the computer and fixed the flat, the problem was solved. They charged me $10 for the flat fix and $25 for the computer diagnostic. I am sure many other places would have tried to tell me I needed a new sensor or some other dishonest exploit... Not only did they fix my problem immediately, were completely honest and charged a very reasonable fee, but they were also very friendly and a pleasure to work with. And I had a very fun conversation with another customer who has been going there for 20 years and had nothing but fantastic things to say about them. What could have been a long and expensive trip to other mechanics was a very quick, cheap and surprisingly enjoyable visit as the employees and other customers were a pleasure to talk to and it really had the feel of a neighborhood business. I will be taking my car there from now on for everything.

Heard about this place from a friend, and decided to try it out after being gouged (and nearly being gouged again) by the Plaza Toyota service center. Uh-huh, at Repairs on Wheels, I didn't have to make an appointment, I didn't have to wait for them to start fixing the car, they were extremely straight-forward about how critical the repairs were, and I paid roughly a third of what I would have paid at Plaza Toyota (I know this because I got quotes for three needed repairs from Plaza, and almost immediately started looking for an independent mechanic). These guys are top-rate. And they're open 24 hours. Never going back to Plaza again. And if I don't add anything to this review later, you'll know the repairs were just fine.

Firstly, I found Repair on wheels through an online search. There were a lot of good things about the entire experience. I came in due to a broken motor on the window. The problem was diagnosed within 10 minutes. The next 15 minutes were waiting for the parts to arrive from the nearby warehouse. Lastly the next 30 minutes was dedicated to the installation. As promised in the beginning, I was out within an hour and was able to attend all previously planned activities. The customer service was great and I highly recommend.

I just want to say Repairs On Wheels is the best!!! My husband and I have been going to Pep Boys for some time and when we hit a man hole cover after the street was being paved; Pep Boys recommended we come here to have our transmission fixed. Thank God it was just a broken pan and the tranny is good! They were nice enough to let me sleep in the waiting area with the lights off since I didn't get much sleep the night before. They had us up and running in a few ours after they ordered the new pan. The mechanics at Repairs On Wheels could have easily lied to us and said the tranny is broke, made out with at least $2,200 and we would have never known. Dropped one car off, for both stabilizer links and a replacement of the lugs, after a fault of which happened of my own doing..just to find out my other car isn’t doing so well, which they checked out on the house!! (shout outs to Miss Angela and Sean for my countless calls for constant updates!!)without a lack of better words, was rather on its last legs . Alex, and Russel not only explained what needed to be done, but what needed to be replaced immediately, and took the time to tell me what could be neglected (so my car still ran.) While Roma a stand alone diagnostic mechanic, who analyzed and above all else who pointed out, to and lead me by hand to what The nature of what the problem while giving me insight of what had to be done above all else.. literally taken the time to make sure I understood the inner workings. While lesser mechanics would have sold me a dream of work, and problems which didnt exsist. And charged me for so much more.. A family experience to the fullest extent which included the most, with a lollipop, a smile and an explanation to all of my sons odd , and many questions. Truly a pleasure. Lol did I mention the bagels and coffee on Sunday mornings, for free!

Had to get a new side mirror. Came in, they ordered the part. Left and got a call within a few hours saying part came in. Came back and got it installed within minutes. Great price, older gentleman was extremely helpful and gave me a lot of good tips on car maintenance (this is my first car) while waiting. Before I went here I went to a few other shops trying to get the mirror replaced. This took a lot of time and a bit of stress. Almost everyone expects dealing with car troubles/fixes is always a headache, as did I. When I got things sorted out the person in the front said 'Sorry for making this too easy' - clearly not expected. Next time I'll be sure to go here first, whatever the problem.

Alex, the owner, who runs the entire shop, personally took time out to explain all that needed to be done. He had Roman check out the car and do all the work and he did a great job. During the service they discovered previous shoddy work that put me at risk and corrected it safely. As a physicist, I knew what was wrong before taking the car in and about how much it should cost. They treated me like I actually had a brain and confirmed my suspicions. They even came in under budget! They don't charge an arm and a leg to make a buck off one service but rather charge a tiny bit over, so they get return business. And they have mine.

Open 24 hours Sunday - Thursday. Closed Friday afternoon+Saturday for religious observation. No BS repair shop. Won't fleece you, or tell you something is broken when it's not. They want to repair your auto and get you on your way. Ask for Angie after 5pm, or Alex before 5pm. Only drawback is there isn't a ton of parking space, or a repair lot, but hey, it's Brooklyn 🤷

Me and my husband brought our car to this auto repair shop. After being told by a mechanic on Beach channel dr it was the altenator. Me and my husband brought our car in to have this repair shop to replace it. I think it was fate because the nice mechanic says well its not your altenator. The gentleman offered to replace the altenator for 200 dollars. But he said is not the altenator but I will still fix whatever the problem is for 200 dollars. He was willing to take a lose to help us. Thank God it was something minor, and he said it is only 95 dollars and your done. Amazing finally a mechanic that actually cares about his customers and knows what he is doing. He could have still charged us 200 dollars and me and my husband would have not even known better, but he didn't. This shop is nice, fair, and honest our car is working great and it didn't cost 580 dollars that the other mechanic in rockaway park who said we needed an altenator. I recommend this shop to everyone. Thank you guys you are officially our mechanic.

Let me start by saying these guys are miracle workers and customer service is that white glove experience that you may or may not get at a high end dealership! Now last month i hit a BAD pothole in Staten Island. The hit was so bad that it shattered my wheel spacer in a way that got stuck between the wheel and the lugs! Took the car out to 4 or 5 different shops (including 2 different Lexus dealerships) around NY and NJ and every single one told me there was no other way to get the wheels off without physically sawing the wheels off!! These are 3 pc custom wheels that take 3-4 months to get from Japan and I couldn't afford to have the car out of commission for that long. I stumbled on this shop decided to give them a shot before giving up. Lo and Behold! I have the car back in exactly two weeks and the wheels look better than new!!!! I strongly urge and recommend to see these guys for all your automotive needs. Even though i live in NJ, i would rather pay the crazy tolls and see them to have peace of mind than going anywhere else!
