I bought a grille and they shipped it at a discounted price because of some slight damage. Got the grille in only 2 days time and unfortunately the carrier broke it (plastic). I contacted ACE and they refunded me the majority of my money (minus freight I assume) and I was able to glue it to repair it good enough. Nice to see a salvage yard stand behind their product,even if it wasn't their fault

Big Mike was so friendly and kind this morning as he helped me find the part I needed for my car. I don't know much about cars or repairs and it's just really refreshing to work with somebody that is helpful and trustworthy. He found the part and asked the delivery person to wait so that my part could get in with today's deliveries. Also, the price wad cheaper than at the other Auto parts stores.

I bought a part that was warrantied for 90 days. The part failed during the warranty and they replaced the part with no problem. Even without a receipt. They took good care of me right away I have bought many parts there before with great satisfaction and everyone I know who has purchased parts there say the same. I highly recommend Ace Auto Parts.

Was in town visiting and doing a few things. Decided to reach out and see if they possibly had a part that I couldn’t find back at home 4 hours away. To my surprise they did have one. I stopped up and was assisted by BIG MIKE! He was very friendly and helpful. Let me run down and take a look at it and I verified it would in fact work for me. They carried it up to the loading dock for me I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I’m over joyed with the experience, really wish they were in my town. The building was clean for a salvage yard and the yard it last was a lot more organized than ones local to me. Keep up the great work! Hope to deal with again.

I can't say enough! 💯! I have to admit, the size of the shop and the length of the line of people waiting was at first, a bit intimidating. But I was pleasantly surprised! The line moved quickly, and when I heard my call of ""Next!" and was called to "Big Mike's" window, the service was friendly and amazing! I had hit something on the highway, and was an hour and a half from home and needed something low cost and fast to get me home for a doctor appt. I was currently driving on a donut, so this included a rim for an older car, and hopefully a tire. They had a rim, and for a great price! Possibly even a tire! After a double check, it was a snow tire. After a TRIPLE check, Big Mike found a tire that would fit the rim, work for my car, get me home , and for such a great price..... he got me out the door in under an hour. Been getting my used tires there and mounted for probably 20 years. Jeff has helped me find a specific size when needed. If you don't want to pay full price at Auto Zone and want to save some money give Ace Auto a try.

Just needed a quote for a windshield and installation. Almost the same cost as two other places I tried. I’ve gotten used parts and tires from these guys in the past and they’ve always told it straight and never tried to pull bait and switch stuff like some other places who will tell you they have something in stock only to find out after driving 30-45 minutes that they don’t in fact have what they told me they did. No worries with Ace 👍

Hands down the best used auto yard in the area. Normally one would assume the people employed at these type of places would not necessarily have much for "customer service" skills. Absolutely not the case! I have used Ace auto parts on many occasions, and have been pleasantly surprised at the friendliness of every employee I've encountered. Many of them have been there for years and their knowledge of auto parts, what is on hand, and alternative options when things don't go as planned, is second to none. One employee in particular made a lasting impression early one morning. As i was waiting to for everything to get squared away with my order, I had my 2yr old son with me and wanted something from the vending machine. Put in the first dollar and punched the code wrong and instead of getting cupcakes, i ended up with jalapeno chips. Put in another dollar and started to punch on the corresponding code and it spit out chips again because i wasn't paying attention to the system on the machine. Realizing my mistake, I put in another dollar and finally got the cupcakes. Once i got back to the counter, Heather was finishing up my transaction. I gave her my chips since we weren't going to eat them. Not expecting her to reimburse me for my own stupidity, nor did i even want her too, she reached into her own wallet and gave me 2 bucks. Absolutely unnecessary, and completely unexpected, Heather won me over and created a lifetime customer. Very kind of her. Thanks Heather! Not to take away from any of the other great associates there, this small gesture made my day. Great job Ace auto parts!

I had a great experience at Ace today. I went in to buy a wheel. The guys I dealt with were very helpful. I had a tire switched from my spare to the new wheel and someone came out to the Jeep to carry in my old wheel. A few minutes later, the tire mounting was done and someone carried the new wheel back out to the Jeep for me. I would have given them five stars but the price they charged me was a little higher than the price shown on the Web site.

They had the part I needed, got it I too me quickly and with a good warranty. I replaced it the next day and it works great. I didn't like that they had a petition to stop the plan for bike lanes on Rice Street, but I suppose that's because I believe every road should be bike friendly

I am a woman and walking into an auto store isn't easy. I fixed my car window on Tuesday and somehow it was messing with my door lock on just the side my window was being fixed on, so l came in Wednesday and to my surprised l was being helped right away, no more questions asked & free of charge. All l did was demonstrate what is going on and they understood. The man didn't speak, but knew sign language actually did a great job of showing me what happened and why my locks weren't working right, and he did such an excellent job at fixing my locks for me! I was really happy! He really knew what he was doing. Moreover, the wait for installations (for window) was estimated exact 45-50mins wait. How awesome is that! I am thankful this store is near my place. This store also has staffs that has humor as well! Customer satisfication 100% here! :) happy! Also, l wanted to say before l got my window fixed, l called in and spoke with Rick, and he told me to go to which window and speak with him when l get there and made an appointment right away, so right when l got there l didn't get to take any #'s to be seated & wait in line at all, so it'd be great to call in. l just went in line next to the window after a customer was helped and l was helped & got to jump in before other customers. Furthermore, the receptionist was very kind and understanding! Best customer service ever and also very generous. I love their vibes there, especially the cashier receptionist, too. I'd totally go there again for service! The cashier receptionist made me feel very comfortable! Have a blessful year!

I contacted my mechanic, he gave them a high rating and that they gave me a great price. Scooter from Ace contacted me, found a transmission with half the miles, same price and made delivery arrangements. All really easy. Moving forward, when necessary, I'll be contacting Rob.

I read these reviews and wonder what people are expecting. You are buying a used part. Your car is 10, 15, 20 years old and your part failed. Yet you still expect every used part that is 10, 15, 20 years old to work and perform like new. You want new parts, buy new parts. You want to save money and take a chance? These guys are good. I've bought a lot of parts from Ace as well as my father has and I remember way back to the old building and the customer service back then was awesome and it's pretty much about the same now. At least whenever I've been there anyways. You treat them with respect, you get the same back. Treat them with disrespect, still get treated with respect. As much as can be anyway. Today I came in and got an alternator and seeing as i forgot about that little $3 environmental charge, I was $2.23 short. As only Ace does, I still walked out with my part, just get a little less back when I drop off the core tomorrow. That treatment is why i keep coming back and will continue to do so. Do not buy anything electrical there, not even a battery. Because when it turns out to be a bad one you don't get your money back. Store credit, but that won't get you an actual battery that works. Otherwise decent used tires, parts etc. It was the best place for getting a windshield or other window replaced years ago.

Not gonna lie, after reading the reviews I got real worried. Went there looking for an ABS computer, they were the only ones within 130 miles of me that had one, and had it for an affordable price. So I went in and picked one up. Got the computer and the pump for dirt cheap (got a spare pump now though!) At first glance, the people may seem abrasive, but spending only 5 minutes with them, they show you they care about what you need, and will bend over backwards to meet your needs. I started to realize a pattern of calling them for a part, and them telling me they have it, but when I got there, they would act surprised and say they don't have it for some reason or another. The last time I went there (5 yrs ago) I explained over the phone that I would be driving a long way. Once again, when I got there, they didn't have it. Months later I ran into an ex-employee who verified that they were instructed to tell people that to save time on the phone. Whenever they did have the used part in stock, it was generally in good condition. There return policy was fine too. It just really sucks when you make a call to avoid wasting an hour driving there only to find out they don't even bother to look.

Thank you warren johnson for telling me about this place. Originally i thought it was just a regular run of the mill junk yard by how it was explained. But once i got there i was immediately impressed by the establisment. The clean open layout with an organized waiting room. The sales people were very fast and knowledgeable. This would be my go to place if i lived in stpaul. And now this will be my second call if aabco doesnt have the part. To top it off they havd a decent warranty for all thier parts. The icing on the cake is you dont have to pull the part yourself. Oh wait the price is the best thing.

I agree with Jaramy - Once you get past the facade, they are very helpful. I love it when they let me out on the yard to dig around on a car like mine and get that certain interior cosmetic piece that's broken on mine. My thought is that they are about 75% geared toward dealing w/ repair shops, so come off rough to normal consumers. The thought I have, is that a great reality show could be made here: The interactions of the parts desk front lines, the owner rushing around, cuts to scenes in the wrecking yard, all would make something like "Pawn Stars". I've never seen "Duck Dynasty" but I imagine Ace isn't too far off from that. Taken with a grain of salt, and from this perspective, I've done well here a number of times.

the customer represenative or the guy who u go to first who ask u for your part was very helpful, wait wasnt bad at all but the cashier was very unhelpful. there was no one paying for their parts but me and before i got to the counter, he wasnt doin nothing but sitting at the cashier. when my guy brought my part to the counter and i approached the counter he rung me up and told me how much i owed. i took out my money and handed to him but for some reason i got ignored on purpose and than he started moving things that looked like it been there for awhile already that was by the door. to me personally i thought that what he purposely did wasnt acceptable and very unprofessional. it took about 5 min and the outcome of it all, i was late to pick up my wife from work.
