Overall, good work. Just a miscommunication with price as I expected to pay less for new part with labor included. Additionally, vehicle was left close to below “E” on gas and luckily I was able to make it to the gas station. Just wish I would have received a heads up with gas level to prepare accordingly.

We just recently moved to the Jackson Park neighborhood so I took a chance with our local automotive place to get an oil change and tire rotation. What a gem! The front desk person is very friendly and accommodating, and they completed the job thoroughly and in a timely manner. I did not feel subjected to high pressure sales tactics/up selling. She simply reviewed the vehicle inspection report with me and suggested areas requiring attention in the future, including price quotes. They provide a courtesy Van for drop off and pick up at your home if warranted. Twenty first Century has already become our automotive service center, no need to look any further!

This was the second time I’ve used this business for repairs. Not only is the customer service amazing, they will give you a ride home and pick you up when your car is ready. They are always able to fix whatever it is I’ve needed. Recently was a gear shift issue where I couldn’t get my car out of park. They updated me along the way and the repairs never cost me an arm and a leg. It’s a family owned business and I will be referring all of my family and friends to them.

My wife noticed during the cold snap that the check engine light came on. We set up an appointment and dropped off our vehicle. They were honest, informative, and thorough with the explanation of the problem. They told us what they recommend needs attention right away and what can be given some time. I should also mention they have very fair pricing. Very nice and polite people. My family highly recommends them.

My battery died and Sharon and her husband came to my home and jumped my car, took it in and kept it until they had done a thorough check of anything else that could have caused the problem. Promptly got us in for requested repair and although we weren't expecting to repair anything else they alerted us to a few minor issues that may need handling in the future but then explained that there was one repair that was of a serious nature that we should probably address. They gave us time to discuss and ask questions so we could make the decision that would keep us safe on the road. Although car repairs are no fun, neither are car problems that could case a major accident and harm yourself or others. We appreciate the customer service and concern of the staff at 21st Century Auto. And they usually offer some kind of coupon which saves a bit.

Always take my car here. They are very good about explaining the issue in terms I can understand, blunt about when the issues are related to computer system and finding one issue might not be the full repair needed and what you need to look and listen for to bring it back, fairly priced, and will work with you on price if there is an issue they should have spotted and didn't mention. Unlike with other mechanics, I don't feel taken advantage of or lied to. They also offer a ride to work or home when you drop off your car and that's super convenient.

My family has been coming to 21st Century Auto for years, and there's a reason for that. There was no question in my mind where I would take my truck in for repairs when it started having problems. All the employees I've dealt with there are incredibly nice and caring. They are always thorough in their explanations of what's wrong, what needs to be fixed now, what's recommended, and what will be needed in the future but has a little more life left. I'm always skeptical of car repair places and have experienced dishonest practices at multiple other businesses, including a dealer. I don't have to worry about this with 21st Century. They are always up front. They always make me aware of any charges before they do the work, and they have done a great job so far. I've had front end work done, brakes, and fuel injectors replaced here. I really don't have any complaints. They even gave a follow up call after a recent repair to make sure I was satisfied. What other place does that? Just great people. Some might complain about the price, but cars are expensive and if you want the job done right, with quality parts I don't think you can go wrong here. Plus you can always look out for their coupons!

By far the BEST there is! I am soooo glad I came here. I went during my lunch and there were so quick and sooooo friendly! It literally made my day stopping in there. I went in for an emission test and I personally don't know much about cars but though it was going to pass because of the tire pressure light. They checked it for me put air in my tires and worked and no cost!! Super friendly will now be my one stop shop! Also they installed my wind shield wipers and left a little treat in my car for Thanksgiving!! Super sweet staff LOVE LOVE LOVED it there!!!!!!

Went in for suspension problems, needed new tires, and an emission inspection. A bad sensor was causing my vehicle to fail the emission test, like it does. The folks here at Twenty First were able to get me 4 new tires, fix my suspension, get the sensor to ensure my vehicle would pass the inspection, AND register my vehicle on site IN A SINGLE DAY. Not to mention very fair cost of labour, and up front cost of parts (parts cost doesn't really don't vary from shop to shop though, honestly). Perhaps the most friendly staff I've encountered at a shop anywhere this far north, and certainly an efficient team of mechanics and other professionals that were able to make quick work of several problems. I would, and surely will in the future, happily recommend this location to anyone shopping around for any sort of vehicle maintenance or repair.

My car wouldn't start so my co-worker suggested that I go to Twenty First Century Auto, and I took that advice. When they looked at my car they told me specifically what was wrong and that they could fix it within a day or two (corroded wires and one of my wires burnt off that connected to my engine) . After a couple of days I went to pick it up and they made sure to review and explain everything that they fixed on my car. The guy that I talked to on the first day talked to me when I picked it up, and he and his wife(?) were so friendly and fun to chat with, it felt more like talking to a friend than a business owner (which was nice). The price was exactly as they described and reasonable for the job they were tasked with, and I left feeling like they actually cared about how my car ran after I left the place. I just got a really good vibe from them, and I would definitely go back in a heartbeat if my car had issues again.

To make this brief i will not return, I had a check engine light come on so i took my car to a nearby auto-zone and had it checked out. I set-up an appointment with 21st century to have them take a look at my car. I received a call less than an hour after i dropped off my car in which the mechanic told me "I have never done this before, but once i get in there it can't be that hard." Obviously that did not inspire confidence in me on top of that, the quote was approximately $300 over what my research said it should cost. So i decided to take my car elsewhere, to my surprise when i picked up my car I was billed $130 for the 45 min estimate. I was just in shock, I paid without another word and took my car elsewhere where they completed the work for less than the what my research had suggested. TLDR: mechanic says he never has done this before client gets scared gets charged high fee for estimate to take it elsewhere. Edit after speaking with the owner they really do stand by the policy of making it right no matter what. They offered me a full refund on the expense. The owner is an incrediblly genuine person and does care about people. While i can't speak on the quality of the work i can speak on the quality of the people.

All I needed was emissions testing for my car as required by the state and I called around and no one in my neighborhood does it and it was Friday morning and they were the only place that said yes, and the lady on the phone was very nice and said come on over and I did and 15 minutes later I was back on the road! Very fast, very nice people. I feel the reason they have such a large repeat business is due to the fact that they treat their customers with respect. They help to educate the customer and at today's visit a young lady came in and her car showed an issue. This would be a time that you would think lost car repair shops would take advantage of this. But not here the woman mechanic told this woman with the car issue to go and get a specific product. Use that product I knew she was still having the issue to come back. That young lady was going on a road trip shortly, so she wrote down the codes that were coming up when they tested the car so then if she had a problem she would have the codes right there. The young lady left very happy. They have a very efficient process for doing emissions testing and there's very little weight even when there was a line of three to four people in front of me. They offer a seating area the television and there are snacks you can purchase that actually the proceeds go towards the Honor Flight which gives veterans the opportunity to go to Washington DC to view the war memorials. Restroom is clean. When you have your emissions checked for $10 counter fee you can also get your sticker right there. They also offer and lighting product there as you can see by the photo below that gives you the ability to see further distance ahead of you and wider to the side. My girlfriend had these installed at a very reasonable there because she is now in her 60s and night driving was not as easy for her. She's driving all the time now in all sorts of weather. What's nice about this shop is they really don't push a lot of products they have them there for your convenience. They also offer a Napa payment card in case you have a larger problem this card gives you ability similar to a charge card with no interest for a certain amount of time. The mechanics certifications are all listed on the wall along with their continuing education in Auto Repair.

They replaced the crankshaft pulley bolt that snapped on my Kia Sorento 2005. I am pretty happy with the repair and warranty on parts and labor. After I was given an initial estimate, they kept me informed on the progress of the work, parts and labor needed, and gave me options before going too deep into the repairs and cost. Nice friendly people but they are very expensive. They charge $135.00 just to tell you whats wrong with your car. The estimate and fees came to $40.00 less than the dealer actually charged me to do the work. I always thought new car dealers were so much more expensive but I guess that is not the case anymore. If I have to pay dealer prices I will just go to the dealer.
