A well organized place to get parts. Inventory is online to clue you in if the car you want is there or in Henderson. Shopping carts to haul parts are provided. Do bring your own tools. Do expect to find others who are not car specific on looking for parts. Maybe something to lay on if you need to get underneath the car. Flashlights and a friend are always good to have with you.

After searching the internet for a pair of Trunk lid springs for my car, my choices were pay $69. for the original or $29. each for similar springs. I found the Originals, though used they were in excellent condition. The cost? $4. for the pair and one dollar to enter the yard. I Thank you guys at Pick a part Great service, unbeatable price." Remember folks, this is a Junk Yard, don't expect Tile flooring and an Escort to show you around. If you're willing to get your hands dirty to pay a fraction of regular prices this is the place.

Update: Some months back their website was kind of good. Customers were able at least to find available vehicles, a photo of each vehicle, arrival dates of the vehicles and the location in the yard. Then the site became a mess arrival dates became the date the customer search on, and photos disappeared. I informed them about the mess and didn't see any upgrade. Now no one can search the vehicles in the yard. Customers need to go and find what vehicles are available. Before visiting no one know if required vehicle out of which one need of remove parts, is available. Two three time I informed them by emails and in person but found no solution. That means they don't care about the customers. Good place to find used motor spare parts, if you know how to select and remove the parts you need with your own tools. There are plenty of good parts even like new. Not only parts even you can find good engines and transmissions.

I love this place, been there many times over the years. Great stop for a car enthusiast, builder, or DIY guy. For example: the whole Bose stereo system from Mercedes Benz SUV cost me just over $60. That includes four speakers, subwoofer, and the amplifier. The same used system sells on eBay for almost $200, It will be nice addition to my '59 Chevy truck when finished. Another great thing is that you can look online what cars or trucks they currently have there, and how much would certain part cost before you go. I only wish they had more older, or classic cars cars.

My head gasket blew, and the cylinder head had some hairline cracks in it. With over 250k miles on my car, I wasn't too keen on buying a brand new head, and rebuilt ones were a little pricey too. Went to Pic A Part after looking at their inventory online, and seeing about 20-30 cars with the same engine as mine. Bring your own tools and pull the part you are needing. Pretty simple and straightforward. The guys at the front gate are friendly and helpful. If you are willing to put in the work, you will save a lot of money vs buying parts elsewhere.

There are a lot of cars here, but I couldn't even find a spare rim and tire for my car. Would have been a good price had they had one. Only 20 to 35 dollars for a rim and tire. This place is actually really good if you have junk cars that you want to get rid of. They offer you a good amount of money for your junk cars. And they even come with a tow truck and take it for you. They are very convenient. And the tire truck driver was very nice and helpful. Great customer service!

First time being at a salvage yard and it was interesting. I was confused at first because there’s not much details to find the specific car you’re looking for but once you start looking you get the hang of it. Found 3 parts under $20 in very good condition especially since the car is 15 years old. Online would have cost me 4 times the amount. Definitely should check it out!!

If you've got the time, the tools, and the know how you'll be able to find so many parts and accessories for your vehicle. I've used this opportunity on many occasions and have been fairly pleased with the outcome and even most of the prices. Then the situation arose where I purchased a part, even played for insurance just in case, although I was told I had so many days to return. The part was not compatible. So I brought it back only to be told I could have store credit. Although I have gone there many times, it will take me a long time to buy $70. Not pleased with this, ergo two stars removed. Otherwise, recommended!

Meh, it was ok. Would have been nice if they had some big map showing where makes were. Never saw any row numbers like from their website. The yard definitely is not as clean as the video on their website boasts about. Went early on a Saturday morning and the place was pretty messy. I know it's a junkyard but the video said it was super clean when it wasn't. Also, they really need to get more carts. I do like how almost every car has a sticker with the year make model. That was nice. I wish there was some way they could add more shade. That sun is brutal in the summer.

Our van was robbed in Las Vegas (someone smashed a window) so we found Pic A Part - they have a handy form on their site that lets you research what vehicles they have available. They didn’t answer calls so you just have to stop by and see if their vehicles have the parts you need. We found several very similar model vans - and a replacement window for a fair price. Staff was friendly and yard was well organized.

Fairly well organized and they have maps to point you in the right direction. Been coming here since 2005. Cars come and go pretty quick sometimes, so if you see something you want, don't wait untill next time! The whole car could be gone! Prices are very fair on most things for coming out of a junk yard

I went to get a tire/wheel and a door lock mechanism on Wednesday. I had a great experience. Got the parts I needed at a reasonable price, and one of the cashiers told me I could get the tire changed down the street for only $5. Great customer service.

I needed a 8.8 rear end for my 06' Mustang gt They just a 07' gt in two days before. Pulled it , got. It for less than $100.00. Every other salvage yard wanted $500.00 or more. I have been to this yard 6-7 times in two years & every employee was helpful & friendly. All black top & cement yard is awesome. Nevada pic a part is my first choice for salvage. Huge selection means better chance of getting the parts you want. I work on cars as hobby and I am happy with what they’ve offered, although folks at the checkout need to be friendlier and more knowledgeable. More than once checkout clerk didn’t know the model name, and mistook a part that I pulled with different thing. Btw, I don’t understand other reviews complaining they’re surprised by high price and core charge. The parts price/core charge are clearly listed on the website so you need to compare prices. It is true, though, in some cases buying new one online can be cheaper than here. So shop around. Four stars because no junk yard should ever be rated 5 stars.

I've been to a few salvage yards in LA, and this was the first one I've been to in Las Vegas. It's similar to ones in LA, just that customer service is a bit lacking. This is a very large yard and they have hundreds and hundreds of vehicles. They are arranged by manufacturer. For example, one side has GM cars, another side has trucks, another has Toyota, etc. Customer service is pretty much non-existent to downright rude. They seem to be bothered by just asking a simple question. Since it was the first time I was there, I asked where the Chevrolet vehicles are. I thought it was a reasonable question since it's a large yard and I could be walking in the wrong direction for several minutes before realizing I'm in the wrong place. But I know, I should have walked in a bit further and I would have seen the signs. Other things to note are: - They charge $1 to go in and look around, whether you find what you need or not. - Just like any other salvage yard, bring your own tools. And don't expect help with finding the part you need. That's why it's a salvage yard and not an auto parts store. It is 100% DIY. - Don't ask for anything, whether it's water, a paper towel to wipe grease off your hands before you reach into your wallet, a part that just won't come out, or a simple question. The answer is no. - Prices are cheap. Go to their website to look up the current prices.

That said, they have organized the sections pretty well, and know generally which cars are where, so you have a good idea if they might have something you need. New arrivals are picked over pretty quickly, so if you're looking for something very specific, you may or may not find it even if the car itself is there. **Bring your own tools**

I had a wonderful experience. I bought a part for $3.29 which my mechanic wanted to buy at the dealership for $1,001.40 + 7.5 hrs labor.( I couldn't buy the part I needed by it's self) .I didn't bring tools to pick my part out and an employee offered to let me borrow tools. My interactions with the employees were very pleasant. I will bring my friend this weekend too!

My father in law came with me to get a head for his car and wound up having a drop in his blood sugar bad enough that he almost passed out and the employees were exemplary in their care in handling the crisis during the time they were closing down and clearing people out of the yard. They got a wheelchair to help him to my van and gave him a soda to get his blood sugar back up. I am thankful for their assistance and customer service.

These guys get a bad wrap for no reason. I came with my 4 year old. Not only were the guys working VERY nice, they grabbed us a basket and pointed out where I needed to go to find my make and model car. Then gave me some decent prices on the parts I got. Cheaper than new, but not the cheapest for large body panels in particular. The large size of the lot translates into a large selection. Not bad prices for interior plastics either. Another pro is the Nice concrete lot. And another con is no hand washing stations and Porta potties for bathrooms. Honesty, not bad. As long as you don't need to go to the bathroom haha

I go there alot living a few miles away and its a great place. Huge collection of cars plus the entire lot is orderly and 100% cement instead of walking around in greasy dust. Its a massive organized operation. Other lots are all around it--about 5 but they are small and the yards are a mess-one was nothing more than a dump with cars stacked ON TOP of each other. Access to the part would be tough plus they dont know where the cars are. Im 64 and been to a lot of wrecking yards and I have no complaints with this place. But for the savings they expect you to know what you want--go get it--and dont whine as if you are going to Autozone expecting full service and guarantees. You must have your own tools--if you so much as need a screwdriver I assure you they will not loan one. Its such a huge operation its generally one stop shopping then you can stop at the fringe lots in the area if you dont find your part.

The part I was looking for was broken because of a previous scavenger trying to force off a simple trim. they have lots of cars types though. there are too many old rare ones that hardly anyone pics parts from. The workers are dirt bags with that annoying "tough guy attitude". this place reminds me of Walmart.

Only a dollar to get in unless your a lady then its free. Everyone has a wonderful attitude and the lots are VERY organised and clean. I also felt very comfortable going alone around the lot.

Pic A Part saved my ass! I priced a part I needed for my Mitsubishi at $1200 at the dealership and saved over $1000 at pic a part. I go with my son (and get in free Yay! Its not SEXIST it makes SENSE not to charge someone twice for the same part search as it is rare for a single female to be working on her own car and thats just the truth) My son is working on our other 2 cars that werent running and I have a great time poking around and suprising myself that I am a better part picker than my son a lot of the time! Its a great way to spend some spare time and save a lot of money. We got a fuel pump for our 95 firebird that didnt work and just brought it back with the receipt and the staff didnt hassle us about trading it for another one that worked (its smart to bring along testing gear) It is true to make sure that your tools are marked if you dont want to have trouble getting out the door with your own stuff. We had a brand new set of jumper cables and the first guy at the door said he would remember us and that we came in with the cables. when we tried to leave the security acted like they were going to take our cables as the first dude didnt mark them and then he said he didnt know what we were talking about in reference to our cables. Luckily I had a sales receipt that matched the sku # on the cables from big lots. But it is common sense to make sure your tools are marked so that pic a part can control any thievery from happening, that one time is the only time we had a problem. They also stamp your hand and sign you in (men) my son runs back and forth sometimes several times a day for a buck entry fee-you cant beat it -- I dare you to find a better deal! I read some comments about mexicans and bias toward white people which is way off from true.......there are a lot of mexican mechanics on the lot that I noted but that is because they are the best mechanics in town and know where to find the deals. There are a lot of signs in spanish but there is also the same signs written in english as well. No way is this place biased toward anybody..... its a junkyard for gosh sake! Anyway I love the mexican food served outside in the "roach coach" its delicious, authentic and great prices too!.

phone didnt even work for henderson. had to call 4 times to get the one on lamb to go through. Though the guy that picked up at the lamb location said he was able to check the inventory at the Henderson location as well, which was nice. Though "he"/ "they" didn't have the vehicle I was looking for he gave me a phone number where to try. And he was very polite on the phone. My first review was a one star, but the guy on the phone at the Lamb location brought my experience up to a 3. If I hadn't been upset about the Henderson phone line not recognizing the buttons I push and just looping over the menu over and over and over I would have had a better rating for you all.

This place is awesome I've been coming here for years have saved a lot of money over the years they have hundreds of cars and trucks to pick from and you pretty much help yourself with everything you need staff is great Securities are little strict but that's understandable when they're trying to protect the business wealth will definitely recommend it to everybody who needs used they're family-friendly I've seen girls and kids coming in although I don't recommend kids coming in because they can hurt themselves but overall I do recommend this place to everyone.

Enormous collection of parts cars and trucks laid out in neat rows on concrete, not dirt and gravel. Many late model European cars - more late model Jags, for example, for example, than I've seen anywhere! Much larger and more comprehensive than many major metropolitan areas such as Seattle. Highly recommended.
