Great service. Got greeted as I entered. Friendly service. Came in for an oil change and they topped off my coolant letting me know I should get it flushed sometime. In and out within an hour. I'll be back in 5000 miles ! I'd recommend this location. Edit: says they close at 7pm. They close at 6. I guess when they got my oil change, they didn't change the maintenance light to not turn off. Went out of my way to get it turned off and they were closed at 6pm.

I used to bring my Chevy here when I lived in the area. Having moved across town, and driving a newer car that I bring to the dealership for service, I hadn't been to Firestone in 3 years. Well, yesterday around 9pm, I won't say how, but some unleaded fuel made its way into the diesel tank!! I happened to be just down the block from the friendly neighborhood Firestone, so I called a tow truck, dropped off my car, and left my keys and a LOT of notes that said DO NOT TURN ON CAR! (Running unleaded fuel in a diesel engine will destroy it) I called right when they opened this morning, asking if they'd seen the VW yet; they said they found all my notes, had already diagnosed it, and were ready to get my approval to work on it. They had dropped the tank, flushed the fuel system, and had my car ready by 1pm; I was SHOCKED! So happy to still be able to rely on this Firestone! Thank you.

If you are looking for honest, personal staff, qualified mechanics, and fast service this is the place to come too. I got a rental car that had a slow leak in one of the tires. They had me in and out in no time so I could continue my trip back to Tennessee. I want to thank all the staff for the great job and I would recommend this shop to anyone. If you are in the area give them a try and tell them I sent you.

I drove to Las Vegas from Phoenix over Memorial Day. Apparently I got a flat tire on the drive but didn't realize it until Sunday (the day before Memorial Day). I went to several tire shops before I got to this one and everybody said there was nothing they could do and a new tire would have to be ordered. Benjamin Stephen was the only person who went out of his way to help me. He explained that the reason I was having trouble is that my tire is a run flat tire (which is why I was able to go to several tire shops before coming to this one). He offered me an alternative tire given the stress I was having about getting back to Phoenix. He got it done very quickly and I was able to travel home without any problems at all. Job well done!! Thank you so much!!

THE KING OF BAKERSFIELD

I have been bringing my vehicles here for two years now, I have always been treated well and offered coupon price for their services. The building is always kept clean and very spacious. Be prepared to wait at least an hour or just drop your vehicle off. Friendly well trained staff. The only thing I miss is the water and coffee they used to provide.

Searched online on who can fix the hor air blowing from my car's a/c. I decided to schedule an appt w/ them. They told me that they'll diagnose what the problem is then they'll tell me if they can fix it. Everybody was so courteous & friendly when I got there. They told me what was the problem w/ the a/c & was able to fix it. They also did a thorough diagnosis that they recommend I take the car to the dealer because of current recalls that was found that needs to be fixed. Or they can get it fixed if I decided to let them fix the recall issues. I told them I'll just take it to the dealer. But the a/c problem that I came in there for they were definitely able to fix. My car's a/c is now blowing cold air. From the online quotes from the other companies, they were cheaper. It will really help to do your research & it won't hurt to ask questions.

This is partly a 5 star review, and partly a 1 star review, based on two different back-to-back experiences. I needed a brake pad replacement + oil change, and also had an issue with my car overheating when idling with A/C on. The brake pad and oil change was great. 5 stars for that. Pretty standard. I'd do that part again with them if need be. I am very upset with how they handled the mechanical issue. They charge a $70 diagnosis fee for any coolant related issues. My first visit, they actually waived this because they recommended a coolant flush to fix the issue after looking at it and I gave the go ahead, charging me $114 for that instead. That would be great, except it didn't fix the issue at all. When I returned and explained this, they now insisted on charging me the $70 diagnosis fee to reinspect AFTER they already misdiagnosed it and gave me a pointless repair. So now I have the same issue after wasting $114 on their recommendation. On top of that, the attendant was pretty rude on my second visit. Totally apathetic to my issues and adapted a confrontational tone when I questioned their charges given the situation. Just find a local mechanic. There is no reason to use a place like this.

Very professional and honest. I went in expecting to need a new alternator, and while they ordered it, they found that my belt was simply loose. They tightened my belt and did not change my alternator. They easily could have done both without my knowledge and charged me a lot more but did not. Mark is a nice guy, and while I didn't get the mechanics name, he was a really good guy as well.

I set a 3pm appointment for an alignment and they had it up on the lift by 3:02pm and out the door by 3:45pm. The service rep was professional and courteous. The only drawback I had was watching their porter be less than courteous with the way he drove and parked customer vehicles, never hit anything or the like, but it’s like he had two speeds 1) stomp the skinny pedal to go or 2) stomp the fat pedal to stop. It didn’t happen with my whale and overall a good experience, although I feel the porter should show a little more respect for the property that customers depend on and have entrusted to have maintenance work done.

Fantastic price and service for diagnosing my brake noise, however I was a little concerned when the associate had forgotten to reset my cars oil tracker. I also ran into low tire pressure on the way home, which should have been including in the full service check that I paid extra for. Unfortunate missteps definitely marred my experience for this particular location, and i'll be sure to get the job done locally next time.

Got new tires and alignment here and the staff was friendly and helpful. There was a little wait, but that's what happens when other customers get there before you. The thing that impressed me most was an employee called me after hours to let me know I had left a bag there and they'd put it in the manager's office so I could pick it up the next day.

Been using this location for a couple years now. Always have a good experience. Had tires installed and my oil changed today. Was completed in less than 2 hours.

Told us they could put on a tire in about an hour but the technician was in no hurry. Took 3 hours. They also drove my vehicle into their advertisement banners. They did not torque the lug nuts although another technician brought them the wrench. The only reason I gave them 3 stars is because they let us apply a $40 coupon even though we were a few bucks from qualifying

I gave Five stars because they fixed my all leaks under my oil pan and anything they see thats leaks coming up they give me a good advice to do this and to do that Now Im very satisified they solved the problem in very good amount than other Auto shop around in Vegas. You can trust all the mechanics and adjuster Carl is a very good employee that you can trust than anybody in the front. Coming everytime if need oil changes.

I walked into Firestone today to get a new set of tires. I spoke with the store manager , Bing. I told him what I wanted and what my price range was. He supplied me with a set of tires that had a great warranty, at a price I could afford. He told me it would be about an hour for installation. An hour or so later, bing tells me my car is ready-and gives me some tips about tire maintenance. Everyone knows that cars are expensive from the time you drive them off the lot. Tires and car maintenance are required for safety, and with all of the mail in rebates that are available, it amazes me how many people put a price on their (and their family's) safety. I plan on seeing Bing again for my back brakes. Thanks Bing and Firestone !

I stopped by for an oil change yesterday, and I was blown away. Shelby was an amazing service advisor, did a great job making sure my car was done on time, even though they found a nail in one of my tires - which they patched for free. When I mentioned I was going into another shop in a couple weeks for tires, and asked for a comparison price, Shelby didn't just give me a price like they did. Shelby asked for information about how I drive, and actually quoted me a tire suited to that driving style, and my car. Shelby ALSO lowered the price by $50 to beat the other guys, even though the other guys' quote was for a lesser-quality tire. I couldn't be happier with this visit, and will be back in two weeks for those tires. As long as Shelby's working here, this Firestone will be my mechanic.

Me and my girls came to Las vegas for the weekend and we were ready to take off on a sunday, and noticed that our car had a flat tire. We saw that Firestone was 15 mins away, so we decided to go with them so they can fix the flat tire. The guy who attended us was very generous and supeeer nice in helping us. We had called before that we were heading with them, and they were waiting for us already. They finished in less 40 mins. We were in life crisis!! And im thankful that we decided to go with them. 5 Stars!!!!!!!!!!!

went there for smog which got "Rejected" a week ago at a different place and again today at firestone. they did a drive cycle test @ 100 bucks which is probably very expensive. but i believe they r reliable. car passed after they completed drive cycle test which i attempted couple of times...still the monitor wont reset. anyways...my car is 13 years old and i am happy that they made it pass the smog without any repair. this is the first time my car got rejected in smog though...

In response to the previous reviewer, it is to your benefit when a mechanic offers you the opportunity to have your water pump changed at the same time you are changing your timing belt/chain. The reason being as the manufacturer suggests replacing both of these items near the same time, depending on your specific vehicle, usually it is around the 80,000 mile mark. You need to remove the water pump to change the timing belt/chain so you might as well do it while you are in there to save yourself on the labor you would be charged when you would eventually have to change the water pump anyway.

Great attitudes and always a clean waiting area with lots of room and seating - Prices pretty good - Catch a tire sale and then add road hazard warranty - I also suggest lifetime balancing, alignment and rotation, it pays for itself - Long wait can be spent in the Boulevard Mall
