The group of individuals that are at the Gulfport location really helped me out. I had a work vehicle that went down while in Gulfport. I was 5 hrs away so I had it towed to their shop. They did everything they could to tell me what the problem was. Unfortunately for me it was a blown motor. I didn’t have the funds to take care of it right then so they let my car sit there for 2 weeks before I could come get it. Upon arrival the car wouldn’t start to get it on the trailer to pull back home. The staff helped myself & my husband get the car on the trailer. I couldn’t say more about how grateful I am for the staff there. They went above & beyond to help me out with the unfortunate situation. Thank you to all the staff at Gulfport Meineke.

Had to tow my SUV to Meineke. They told me I needed a total replacement of the transmission. I couldn't afford 7k but they let me keep the SUV in their parking lot for a few days as I had to figure out how to get my SUV back to mobile. Joy was really nice. And when I was able to come back to get my car they helped me push it onto the car dolly.

The swing carrier bearing bracket broke on my 1967 C-10 Suburban while I was in town for Crusin the Coast. I Googled mechanics near me and found this Meineke shop in Gulfport. It was rated very high with over 500 feedbacks. If I could give them 10 stars I would. The guys got right on it and repaired it quickly. Super friendly and very fair on the price. First time using them it was awesome service leaving that piece at the bottom. This last time had an appointment at 9am to wait and didn't start on my car until 3 hours later. 4 hours total for an exhaust diagnosis. Not acceptable with an appointment. This was first review. Able to set an early appointment on a Saturday which was very convenient. Friendly service. Very knowledgeable staff and took the time to really find out what sound my son was looking for in his performance exhaust. Son is super happy with his loud Jeep. It was also fast insulation we were able to wait while completed.

It was a very frustrating situation for me thieves tried to steal my catalytic converter good news was they did not get it bad news was the cut through half of it. I wish the Honda dealer had not charged me way too much to say there’s a hole in your catalytic converter. Meineke charged me a fair and reasonable price thank you

I had an unusual problem with a piece of custom trim on my Mustang GT, but they took care of it in less than an hour like it was an every day request! Their customer service rep Heather and mechanic Michael did what I needed but then also came up with creative ideas for an even better solution. And it didn’t cost me $400 like it did at a local Ford dealership to get my spark plugs changed! I will be back for everything I need related to my Mustang GT Beast. Great customer service, but word of advice... Schedule an appointment!!!! If you plan on being a walk in: a). Be sure to ask how many tickets are ahead of you and how long you may be waiting before your ticket is started. b). Be sure to ask how long your services may take. c). If at all possible have alternate transportation, because if not you may be sitting there all day, they are very busy. Overall they are very helpful.

Very nice and friendly staff . I live in La.and went to Mississippi for the weekend my spark plug went out they changed the plug and coil in a timely manner. I just feel it was a little higher than it should have been . When I changed the other one at home it cost around $100. for plug and coil . I was charged $164 for the coil . Other than that it was a pleasant experience.

I have visited this Meineke location a few times for oil changes now. The staff & manager there have always been very helpful & pleasant to interact with.. I will say that this last time I got my oil changed there, after sitting in the waiting area for a while, I overheard the employee mention that their internet was down. I did not think much of it, until I overheard the employee tell another customer that they were only accepting cash at that time for payment. Upon asking I was informed no checks would be accepted, which in this day & age I understand why, but it is still an inconvenience. After that I noticed they put a sign on the entrance to let people know.. Quite a few people, including myself, ended up having to use an ATM (having to pay $$ service fees) at a fuel station across the street to be able to pay for services. Which is the reason I only gave 4 stars.

Never have I ever had to deal with handling car business. I am happy that gentleman at the desk was helpful and knowledgeable. My only complaint was the guy who came to get the car could have let us drive to the door at least only due to the fact that it was pouring down raining and I had to run with my 3 year old son and pregnant wife. Other than that it was a great first experience.

They seemed overwhelmed with business and possibly short on staff because they wasn’t able to fix my car , they had it almost 2 weeks and had to pick it up not fixed! They couldn’t take my truck to be serviced for at least 2 weeks!! The manager seemed very stressed and was showing through his customer service! He normally is friendly but not this time! I set an appointment for 9am and showed up at 8:30. They didn't have the parts ordered which is understandable. I waited 4 hours for my vehicle to be serviced which I was told at 8:30 it'll only take an hour. Very discouraging but understandable. I think what really made me take a step back was the first tech stopped and gave up on my vehicle. He only worked on it long enough to take the lug nuts off. That's a red flag on it's own. Overall not a complete bad experience.

They wanted to charge me a lot of money for a starter that I didn’t need. I was pretty sure that the alternator was the problem. The other work they did (an oil change and changed the battery terminals) was great. I got a second opinion from elsewhere and they were able to change out my alternator for half the price Meineke was going to charge for the starter I didn’t need.

I went to this location and they saw me within 10 minutes, diagnosed the issue of a screw in my tire, plugged it, and inflated it within another 15 minutes. About a month ago I let Joe and his guys mount, balance and install the TPMS sensors on the new wheels and tires for my Dodge Charger and they did an amazing job. 2 days ago I picked up a screw and had them repair the tire, again.. amazing work. They took good care of my wheels to not damage them, the guy even cleaned his hand prints off when he finished. I was in and out in about 25 minutes. These guys at Mieneke Car Care have impressed me. Meineke is top knotch! There has yet to be a single time where I have had a rude interaction, a slow turn around on my vehicle, or even just a welcoming face. Joe is phenomenal at what he does. I don’t know his exact title but I’ve seen him behind the desk answering a phone, taking care of a customer, and walking out to the shop clean and coming back in dirty. He’s good at what he does. My car started unexpectedly stuttering on my way home from the Harrison fairgrounds on a Saturday so I needed to find someplace open. Thankfully Meineke was open and only 3 miles away. I had my large dog with me as well and worried that would be a problem. They allowed my dog to stay with me in the waiting room, got me squeezed in even though they were busy, and their prices were decent. Very friendly as well. Another couple on vacation from Canada came in right behind me, their fuel pump went bad. Even though the time to fix their car would take them past closing on a Saturday Meineke employees were willing to stay to get the couple back on the road so they could make it to their next destination 7 hours away were they already had hotel reservations. I highly recommend this Meineke location!

The wife and I were on a long road trip when our car began to overheat and the check engine light came on, so we pulled in with no appointment. They were kind enough to take us right away, and not only solved the problem, but took the time and went far above and beyond anything we could have asked for. In town for a short vacation and car started acting up - steering wheel vibrating while driving/braking. Called around to get it inspected and Meineke had an opening. Rotors were warped so they were replaced along with worn brake pads and car was instantly back to normal, if not better than normal. Total time for inspection, parts delivery and installation was 1-1/2 hours (I also added an oil change). Guys at Meineke were professional and knowledgeable. If I lived here, this location would definitely be my go-to for auto maintenance.
