So I got an oil change here a few weeks ago and also had my tires rotated. I found some subsequent damage on my rims and was very upset at the time. I had initially left a 1 star review. The next day John reached out to me and immediately wanted to make things right. He asked me to stop by so they could set up a repair. I did and he was very kind and open to my comments. The damage wasn't substantial (i can be a bit nit picky about this stuff) and I acknowledge that there is no definite way to correlate it directly to my experience here. Regardless, they wanted to make it right and STILL offered to have them fixed to the best of their ability. I change this to a five star review because of this. Not a lot of places would reach out, let alone be so understanding and want to fix it. If you take your car here, I can tell you that they will do their very best and will take every effort to ensure your car leaves better than it came in.

I moved to Fargo in August from a state away, and the stress of finding a place to go as a female is a little worrisome. You just don’t want to get ripped off. Thankfully this was the first place I went to and it is AMAZING and anyone seeking that home feeling come here! Fix it Forward is a trustworthy shop. They are honest about repairs you may need done in the future, rather than bullying you into getting them fixed right that day. I feel like they have an honest conversation with you and help you decide what's best. The staff is all super kind and helpful as well. Engine replacement : I had major work done by Fix It Forward like having a different engine installed. I found the guys to be a very competent and honest. I highly recommend this place. We had recently purchased a vehicle that was “inspected” took it back to the original shop where it was inspected as the vehicle was not driving properly. I had just left the Drs when my right front CV joint dumped on me. They got my truck in right away and had it repaired sooner than they had previously advised. I am very thankful as I was a bit stress regarding the events but they were kind and friendly without treating me as "just another customer" and that made me feel much better. Came there to have work done. Couple days later, Kevin, Fargo shop, let’s me know what the price was gonna be and I came to pick up truck. Upon arrival the tire was flat. And with Kevin’s assistance we changed it out with one of my spares. The following Sunday I changed out the Master Cylinder, and bled the front brakes. I now have 60% in front & 0% in rear. Eventually, I will have to have rears rebuilt, bled out, but I ain’t pulling a trailer & don’t break the speed laws, so stopping is easy. 2 weeks before that, I applied to the “MINISTRY” & Tuesday was informed that the “MINISTRY” green lighted ALL WORK THE SHOP HAD JUST CALCULATED IT NEEDED. Only since it’s all volunteer installations, there’s a waiting list! But you ask if I enjoyed the work??? I enjoy the “people”, but I really haven’t seen the work yet. When “people” make the experience enjoyed, is a direct reflection of the quality of the work, so I am sure I will enjoy that as well

I moved to Fargo about two months ago and needed and oil change pretty badly. I called around and couldn't believe the prices here in Fargo. I called Fix It Forward and found the best price around by a considerable amount. After making an appointment with them I heard nothing but good about them, and a little about their company being Christian operated. Something you could tell when you walked in the door. I was greeted with warmth and friendliness, and treated well all the time I was there. I was told how long it would take and they called me before that time was up. I went in with a bad tire and with the price of the oil change and the tire repair the total wasn't much more than what other places would have charged for just the oil change. I found my new regular place to go from now on.

We had never been to Fix it Forward before, but we called to get it in, hoping for the next day, to get fixed. They did a detailed inspection of the entire vehicle. Explained an issue that’s been ongoing with my car for the last 9 months in a matter of 10 minutes, whereas other mechanics I’ve been to never bothered and seemingly “fixed” the issue only for it to pop back up again. One of the techs looked at it without pulling it into the shop and confirmed it was engine lock up and let me know so I could get it to local dealer for engine repair! The master cylinder i installed is working fine. But the brakes, rotors are not sounding very well. I had to wait until the “ministry” gave me the green light to have the repair completed, and now that the “ministry” has cleared me, I am on the waiting list. While my truck was at the shop, I was kept informed about its condition and when the inspection was completed, an estimate of $1500. was provided. I knew the master cylinder was needed. So I replaced it and bled both front wheels. But now a week later, there’s a sound from the front wheels!!!!!!!!

Everything was explained to me and I had the option to approve all repairs or not. Complete descriptions of everything that was wrong and why were given including (never ever seen this before but it was fantastic) video of how the wheel performed during a live test and why it was wobbling. I was also given a very detailed list of parts and repairs needed and what the cost would be for each. Everything was top notch and the staff was great, courteous and gave me a tour of the facility when I came to pick up the vehicle in South Fargo. I would HIGHLY recommend Fix it Forward!!

Put in for oil change and tire rotation, but knew we had something wrong with oil leaking. Got a call and was informed of issues and we gave go ahead for repairs. They also provided us a loaner car free of charge, which was incredibly helpful. Really like that they texted us all the information for the quote on parts and labor so that we could be aware of the cost in real time. When I went to pick up my car, they spent extra time discussing with me what had happened, what care would be needed for an older car, showed me maintenance steps. The techs at Fix It Forward correctly diagnosed the issues we were experiencing when the other dealerships in town could not and made the repairs in a timely manor. They also offered a loner vehicle while repairs were being made to our vehicle and kept us informed on the progress being made. I would definitely recommend and use their services again!

I honestly kind of ambushed them in the morning, and I knew I needed a new coil in my Nissan Xterra. They were luckily able to give me right in. I was worried about how long it would take since I had to get out to western North Dakota to chase storms…. and they got me out in time, and the price was fair. Not a bad shop in the FM area, I trust them the most because they are honest and own up to their mistakes if they make them. They told me my transmission cooler lines were bad, went and looked at it myself and found out that it was a fitting and not the lines. They had already sold me the parts but when I went back and told them they took the parts back and gave me a full refund as well as an apology. Very professional and nice about it. I definitely recommend going here as my bad experience is very rare, and when it did happen they were very nice about it and were willing to correct their mistake. Not a lot of shops do that so a lot of respect for these guys.

These guys are awesome!! I had been having issues with a check engine light and power limitations on my Chevy Duramax. After 3 trips to the local Chevy Dealer there was no solution in sight as they said they couldnt replicate the problem to fix it even though the light was still illuminated. The truck went into fail safe mode with power limiting as I was passing the shop so I turned around and went back to see if they could check it out. Although their diesel mechanic was on VC, Kevin, a manager there took the time to see if he could do anything for me. Within a few hours he had identified the problem, got the part from That same dealership and had me back on the road. No issues since!! Great job Kevin and the Team at Fix It Forward!! Best mechanic in fargo hands down. I brought in a journey and a volvo and will continue to bring my volvo in for as long as I may live here. They've been completely transparent with me from the start. They don't try to upsell and even told me actively stuff that I didn't need so that I could save money. I completely recommend here and will continue to recommend here for as long as they stay honest. They charged me $100 for an electrical diagnosis and found that the reason my volvo was slipping and wouldn't accelerate is that my ac compressor blew a fuse. It was on the same fuse as my accelerator. Rather than giving me a quote for an entire new ac compressor and labor they unplugged the ac and moved the wire to a safe spot and replaced the fuse. They told me i wouldn't have ac but to bring it back if I wanted to get that working again. They are a bit more expensive for labor but well worth the money. 10/10
