My car got broken into while I was at work during the night shift. Thanks Portland!Five star glass was able to get my car in right away and have the repair done in about an hour for a windshield and a side window. They were very professional and did a great job. Extremely friendly staff. I hope I don’t have to use them again, but if I ever did I would in a heartbeat.

My vehicle had a paper temporary tag in the back rear-gate glass and a criminal smashed the glass to grab the paper tag. Grrrr! The security guard noticed the damage at 7:45 am; by 10:30 am, we had coordinated with my Insurance Company and the repairs were completed. I was on my way with a new OEM Subaru rear-gate glass. Five Stars Auto Glass was quick to respond and did excellent repair work.

My and my husband's cars were broken into on Saturday and Five Stars was able to fix my husband's that day and mine today. They were fast and professional, and our windows look as good as new. On Saturday, they were right on time. Today, when they were running a bit late to fix my car, they called to give me a head's up and asked if it was still okay to come. I know it can be difficult with an afternoon appointment to get to a client in a two hour window, and them calling ahead so I was not concerned showed me they respect their customer's time. They also emailed our invoices within an hour or so of us paying, so submitting those to our insurance was easy. Quick, professional, friendly, and prepared.

I called at 8 AM after my car window had been smashed the night before. My window was completely replaced by noon (the actual replacement took about 30 minutes). Other companies I got quotes from were all going to have to order parts or couldn’t get me in till tomorrow. They are also way cheaper than their competitors. Safelite quoted me at $450. Local competitors quoted me at $350. This company replaced it for $265. Seriously the cheapest and fastest place in town.

I rent my car out on Turo, and the person who rented my car called me to let me know someone busted the side window out while it was parked in downtown Portland. This is apparently a very common occurrence in Portland. It was a Saturday morning and I called around to get a quote and find out if I could get it in ASAP for repair. I had to leave a voicemail at most of the places I called, but Albert picked up right away and gave me an appointment for the same day. Compared to Safelite AutoGlass who I got an online quote from, Five Stars Auto Glass was about $100 cheaper (total was $285 for the front passenger side window). They only took around 45 minutes to do the job while I waited in a small tent in the back. The place is small and you might miss the driveway if you are going too fast. Customer service was great. Hopefully I won't need it, but if I do I'll definitely come back here! Thank you Albert and crew!

Don't let looks deceive you. I was a bit skeptical about it being a house but they are literally OUTSTANDING!! Customer service was amazing and friendly and they got me in the same day. They were able to repair my rock chip very quickly and they cleaned my window too!! 🥰 They are highly-qualified and professional! I definitely recommend! (4 before photos; 2 after photo included) Side note to include: I've had rock chips before and a broken window. Been to several places and over the years I've learned that when the rock chip is deep enough and causes small cracks, it will be impossible to fully repair. They can prevent it from cracking further and they can make it less noticeable but you'll never be able to fully get rid of a rock chip that is really severe. I'm very pleased with the results of my repair considering the rock chip was very large.

This is a wonderful business. They were able to get my window fixed within a couple of hours of meeting them… and for half the price. I called all over town and nobody could find the window I needed. Apparently we’re in a window shortage. The people at five star were able to find what no one could. After a week of calling so many businesses I found five guys. I am so grateful. Our car got broken into while we in Portland for the weekend. I started messaging businesses on Saturday evening but couldn't get to anyone as most auto shops were closed on Sundays; Albert responded quickly on Sunday; he had the glass available for our make and model and said he could get it done by Monday morning and offered us a safe space to park overnight at his shop. We couldn't be more grateful that we found his shop - the speed, quality and price at which they fixed our side window was 10/10. It was around 270~ to get our window fixed which was extremely reasonable. Albert and his team were also very professional and service was outstanding.

I left a message after hours Saturday. They called me back Sunday and had the glass in stock. Came to my house on Monday and replaced my front passenger window for better than half a much as every other quote I got. The best I could find before them was $463 two weeks wait. These guys charged me $225 and came the next business day. Friendly and fast. What else can I say, awesome experience. Wish I had not had my car vandalized to begin with but these guys made the experience a bit easier to swallow.

They came to me first thing Monday morning, were on time, and insanely affordable compared to quotes I was seeing online. I can’t recommend Five Stars enough! They replaced my rear quarter glass. I probably called at least 10 glass repair shops in Portland. Some were quoting $400+ and some said it would take two weeks before I could get an appointment. It was ridiculous. I called Five Stars and they quoted me the best price in town and was able to come to my job and replace it 5 hours later! The installer was super kind and professional. The instal was super cleaned and he vacuumed up any broken glass. 100% recommend this place to anyone in the Portland area!

Wow, 5 starts is right! I was really impressed. I called and got an appointment the same day. Our car had been broken into and the side window shattered. I didn’t have time to clean up all the glass because it was raining and I wanted to get it fixed right away. They replaced the window and vacuumed all the glass up. Great experience here! Visited Portland for the weekend and 9 AM Saturday morning I found someone had smashed in my rear passenger window overnight in a parking garage. Called all the Ford dealers nearby and no one could have my window fixed for another 2 to 7 days. I called Five Stars and spoke with Julio and he let me know he could have it done by 12:30 that day. Like others have said, don't be fooled by the location or surroundings. These folks are outstanding! They found an out of stock part for me and got it the following day, the installation was quick and looks great, they even vacuumed my car so well that it practically looks detailed. I was driving home from work tonight and a huge chestnut fell off a tree and hit my windshield. HARD. A couple of months ago I had to have my whole windshield replaced because of a rock chip that turned into a large crack overnight, and I was not excited at the possibility of that happening again. I called 8 different glass repair places, and Five Stars was the only one who would see me after 5. He also quoted me a very reasonable price. I drove over and he took a look, then told me the windshield was only scratched, not chipped, and that there was no repair required. He was super pleasant and professional, and even made sure my windshield was spotlessly clean before sending me on my way with no charge. I'm not gonna say that I hope to need auto glass repairs in the near future, but if I do, I know that I'll be going to Five Stars.

I got a rock chip on my windshield on my brand new car. I was really upset because I know how expensive the windshield for my car is because of the technology it has. I called and spoke to Julio and asked him if he could repair my rock chip. Julio put me down for an appointment the same day. My car was too low for me to drive up the driveway into his business so he met me around the corner with all his tools. He was very fast, professional, and accommodating. The rock chip is barely visible now and I don’t have to replace my entire windshield. I am a repeating customer and I would recommend him to anyone. Great work!

Great service! My car window was smashed during a Friday night. Most places aren't open on weekends, but this place is. Julio was great. Got me right in and fixed a ding in my windshield at the same time. Both jobs were done for less than just the glass (without service) was going to cost elsewhere! I woke up to a smashed in back windshield and called around to about 12 places for quotes. Julio was extremely helpful and friendly. He negotiated a price far below what anyone else had quoted me and was able to get me in immediately. He had a clean new window installed in about half an hour. If you are in need of immediate help this is the place. He also let me know that they offer mobile service if you are unable to make it in to their business. They were extremely professional and explained everything to me with the possibility that they might not be able to repair it due to the size of the chip and spread. Julio at Five Star got my window replaced on a Saturday, within an hour of my calling them. They were fast, courteous, and professional. I really appreciated that they explained what they were doing. They got the job done whereas my insurance company's "preferred vendor" only tried to pressure me into waiting another two rainy days to have it fixed by them. It's obviously a family run business, so don't expect a big shop or waiting room if you go to they're 82nd Ave location.

I called and Alberto was so great and helpful on the phone. My back glass was smashed by vandals in the middle of the night. He quoted me a fair price. It was the 1st place I called because I googled and called the places closest with the highest reviews. I explained that to Alberto and he said he wanted to see if he can get me more discounts and call me back while I shopped. I called a bigger place and they never answered. But since Alberto was so awesome over the phone I just called back before he did and I told him I just wanted to bring it in. He initially told me 1030am but when I called back he said I could bring it in right away. Just 5 stars for phone service immediately. When I arrived he came out to the driveway and greeted me right away. I love the small mom and pop feel of the business. My car isn’t done yet but I have no doubts I’ll be giving another 5 star review after my car is done.

I couldn’t make it in their driveway because I have a lowered car. They told me to park at the next street over and they’ll have someone come to me. They also included a brand new weather strip mold on my replacement windshield they forgot to mention to me. It was an additional cost. I ended up paying for what we had agreed upon before the additional cost and they told me since it was their mistake, it was okay. It felt like it took less than 30 minutes for the install. Quick. Easy. Painless. Friendly. 10/10 recommend.

These guys are total pros. They also go above and beyond. I had an automatic window stuck down, shortly after noon on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. I reached their voicemail, but while I was frantically searching for someone else to do the work, they called back from the missed call. Even though they were closing soon, one of the guys (Julio, I think?) found someone who could meet me remotely, and then fix my window for an incredibly fair price. I went from being faced with the prospect of a window stuck down for two days, to having it fixed within two hours. I I would absolutely recommend this place!

After a Blazer game I found my 2017 F150 passenger window smashed in. I've never had anything like this happen. With little sleep the following morning I called Five Star Auto Glass. I talked with Julio who booked me an appointment for that morning. The business is in house and may not look like one of those chain places but they have a very talented tech in Jose who has over 23yrs of experience. They had my truck window replaced with a new one and vacuumed out in about an hour. If you are like me and just want to get your window replaced quick and done the right way this is absolutely the place you want. This was my 1st time here and they made a customer for life.

Highly recommend. Had my quarter glass broken into while hiking. Spoke to Julio, who was able to price match the other shop AND get it done same day (called 5+ other shops, which ranged from 3-7 days because no one had the piece in stock). This is a small, family owned business (waiting area appears to be their living room, with adorable "house rules" posted by a child) but don't let the humble surroundings fool you - excellent service, top notch customer service. Friday night (two days before my wedding) I had my flip side window shattered on my van. Nice folks, but the rock-chip crack in my glass looks a bit worse now than when I came in this morning. The hole they drilled is completely visible, as well as they cracks that were there. Ive done this myself with store bought kits and have had a better result.
