I was involved in a car accident where the other party was 100% at fault. Despite the fact that their insurance accepted the fault, their insurance was not treating me fairly. I initially thought that I would deal with them myself, but ended up being lost in the process and felt stuck with how the insurance was treating me, which is why I decided to retain an attorney. I worked with Kevin Zwisler with Slocumb Law Firm. Kevin helped me understand the laws surrounding my case and helped navigate the insurance system. He was able to increase my settlement to a fair amount that covered my expenses and that I felt comfortable with. Although I hope that I am not in another car accident again, if I am in that situation, I will not wait to call Slocumb Law. After this experience, I would urge anyone who is involved in a car accident to seek legal council instead of trying to handle the insurance run around themselves.

Please Make sure that if you do receive a settlement to make sure that EVERYONE IS BEING PAID!!!! I had a slip & fall case in 2018. I don't know if because they are a big firm but it seems as though attorney's come & go. I had two different attorney's who were handling my case. Now I did win my case which is why I gave them a 3 star rating. However after my case was settled in 2019, then I started getting letters from people saying that I owed them. I have had personal injury lawyers before but they were very professional and I did not have to pay any parties after a settlement was won out of my own pocket. I had to pay one insurance company over $1,000 dollars When my attorney left that firm they gave me the run around. I can't tell you how many times that I had to call them and make online complaints. The 1st attorney that I spoke to was extremely rude and I looked him up on Avvo and apparently I was not the only client who had problems with his behavior. Then I got a dear john from another attorney who said because of what I signed that they were not responsible for any future payments. And I noticed that several people on here mentioned this attorney as being a great attorney, but that was not the case for me. I even asked them for a final accounting of everything. I wanted to know how much did my attorney receive and who exactly was paid. But I never received a thing. I don't care what I signed the attorney that I had at the time never said that to me that any future payments that I would be held responsible. What I had to pay for was doing the time period of my injury anyway and they should have paid whatever parties were involved that was owed monies by my lawsuit. I am not satisfied with how I was treated as a former client and I am seriously thinking about going to the bar about this matter. That is why I am telling anyone who is a client to please make sure that all parties are taken care of before you sign your name on the dotted line. I do not want want happened to me to happen to you! Even after I posted this review they still have not gotten back in touch with me. I stand by what I am saying & I have the e-mails to prove it.

I was in an accident two years ago right before the pandemic. Needless to say everything was going ok with my previous firm until then. Once Covid-19 hit, my previous firms workload because extremely heavy and with my permission they transferred to the Slocumb Law Firm. I was assigned to Mr. Bradley Hines, who in our first conversation assured me that they would take care of me and move as quickly as they could. He answered ALL of my questions and gave me worse and best case scenarios. It wasn’t even a week before the first Insurance Company settled, and literally days after the 2nd company. After TWO Years. my case was finally settled and I received a VERY GOOD settlement. They were even able to get my medical bills negotiated to a lower payment. I am so grateful for the Professionalism and quick response to my case. I recommend Slocumb Law firm, especially Mr. Hines and his assistant.
