We cannot express our gratitude enough for the tireless hours and work that Jarrett, Greg and staff put into saving our son! We were referred by another criminal lawyer in Norfolk to McCormack and McCormack. From the moment we retained their services for our son we knew we now stood a chance to prove his innocence. Our son was due to meet with NCIS the following morning, Greg immediately had a letter drawn up and prepared our son for what he was about to face with NCIS. Jarrett and Greg were very professional but also very to the point on explaining how serious the charges our son was facing and the severity of a life sentence if found guilty. That’s a lot to hear when you’re a parent and know your son is innocent. Over the next 10 months Kat Hensley always kept us well informed regarding any changes, upcoming court dates, ect… Being out of state we could always call when we needed to, even after hours. Our son had emotionally, mentally, and physically been drained. Our family sickened and tormented by the way he had been treated and his case handled by the Norfolk investigators. Trial was here and it felt like a horrible nightmare we all couldn’t wake up from. Both Jarrett and Greg again walked our family through what was about to happen over the next couple of days and right into it we went. The amount of support from the entire McCormack and McCormack family and staff in that courthouse from legal to emotional was heartwarming to say the least. What unfolded in that courtroom the next couple of days was unreal, but Jarrett was so confident and calm that it was contagious. Jarrett dominated that courtroom with facts and evidence. His closing arguments left nothing to question. He is the BEST! Without McCormack and McCormack our son could be in prison and our family torn apart. From the absolute bottom of our hearts we recommend McCormack and McCormack.

I highly recommend this law firm to you who in the midst of your life crisis facing charges and trials. I am an international student studying in the US for almost 4 years, my life here had been positive and fulfilling. I dated a peer at school for a very short of time. It started beautifully but ended very dramatically. I ended up being served with a criminal charge and 2 protective orders from my ex and his family after walking away from the unhealthy relationship. It was purely bizarre, vindictive, and mind-boggling. Since I am not a US citizen, if being found guilty, I will be deported. I can sum up my experience with McCormack & McCormack with simply three words: Professional, outstanding, and blunt. Six months ago, I happened to get into a spot of trouble. At the time, I was unaware that such a situation could possibly have severe consequences on my career as a Naval Officer. I was haphazardly searching for counsel on the web in the event that I needed an attorney, (and, needless to say, I very much did so). To much of my good fortune, I stumbled upon McCormack & McCormack. Upon first contacting Jarrett McCormack via email, I received a lightning response back informing me of the consequences that could befall me if I did not take any action regarding my situation. He immediately set up a meeting in which I could speak to him the following day. Once at the office, I was given the costs of his service upfront; the additional costs were never veiled during my time conducting business with him. Additionally, I appreciated Jarrett's and his father's blunt and straightforward manner in regard to all of my questions - I quickly realized that a simple night out on the town could quite possibly bring an end to my fledgling career. If I had to do it all over again I would choose Jarrett McCormack without a doubt. He and his paralegals are very understanding, well mannered, and more importantly, extremely smart. Jarrett and Kat, I cannot express how much they exceeded my expectations. Despite charges and warrants being dropped, then submitted the next day with new wording, or new charges added the day before trial. Despite the lies and outright bizarre behavior of those trying to persecute me. Jarrett and Kat not only handled it, they never once made me feel like they should not have to. I was nervous to say the least but once mr mccormick made his opening statement to the board i immediately was rejuvenated and had an extreme sense of hope. He wasnt just there to characterize my service he was there to call into question any of the people who made statements against me. His cool demeanor and agressive cross examination demolished the personnel who were out to end my career. He was able to prove collusion and catch them in a web of lies it was definately a blood bath. Once he made his closing argument we felt it was game set match. I have been retained in the United States Navy and will move on to see retirement. I will forever be grateful to Greg McCormick and Kat Hensley.
