So far so good, I have yet to even pay the fee for legal service but I like the down to earth and honest feel I got from them in our initial call. I will raise the rating to 5 star upon completion of services, regardless of outcome, provided a high standard of ethics and stewardship of my legal issues are met. I have high hopes for this lawyer, having been burned hard in the past by leon cannizaro and bruce netterville.

I had no idea what to expect having to find an attorney but I definitely lucked out with Mr Meyers. He was open and very fluid in communication, was able to explain the process of what would need to be done to tie up my legal matters. He had a very affordable fee, was very responsive ( even on Easter weekend), was able to quickly take care of a bench warrant & get the case dropped. Would definitely highly recommend. Townsend is the way to go if you need any help in New Orleans. One call and he was already on it. Well, this guy had 5 star reviews for as far as I cared to go down the line and read...”Impossible” I said to myself. So, I had a situation where I needed some legal advice, and maybe needing an attorney to be present, so I say “Okay, let me give this place a call and see how much I’ll have to go in and pay”. So i call the number and guess who answers... TOWNSEND! So I tell him about my legal situation, and guess what he does... GIVES ME ANSWERS! Then proceeded to tell me that he didn’t think his services would be needed to move forward, BUT, in the event that I just want him there to make me feel more comfortable with the matter at hand, that he’d be more than happy to assist me. Then to make things even more unbelievable, he gives me this awesome price, just in case I decided I wanted to use his services. I’d dealt with attorneys before in the past, and NONE of them measures up to Townsend. If you need an attorney, stop wasting time, your search is over, give the man a call.

My Wife and I went to New Orleans for spring vacation to spend time with some family who was in the area and have some Drinks on Bourbon St. It was an enjoyable time until we found out how crooked NOLA PD cant be. Long story My wife got a battery charge and public intoxication, and I wasn't leaving her alone with the cops so they charged me with interfering with a police investigation.She just taped the cop on the arm to get his attention and they charged her she is no criminal. When our vacation was coming to a close we decided to drive back to Wisconsin. We had the decision to make either we drive back down to go to court just to plea guilty or not. At that point we tried to talk the courts in to letting us take care of this over the phone, ya right that wasn't happening. So we sought out legal advice. Townsend Myers listened and basically said sounds like you could just stay home and let me take care of this. He came up with a price which we found to be a very fair. Townsend also was confident at trial he could see to the charges getting dropped. When the court date came to just put in a simple plea, he read the police report and worked on the prosecutor and actually had the charges dropped on the spot. To think we were considering driving down to plea guilty just to not have to deal with this issue and put it behind us. We are both more than happy with the results this man achieved, he saved us money,time,and the stress of dealing with the courts. Not only that,but he got the case dismissed and we don't have the charges on our record. Oh and it also feels pretty good to fight back against crooked cops from a city that makes plenty off of tourists like us.

I was staying in the French Quarters with my daughter and one of her friends. I had purchased a drink and my daughter was carrying it for me and walked out the door before me, I am legally blind, and I had purchased her a drink as well.
