I have been working with Kyle for almost 2.5 years on my case. We literally had a court appearance in the morning and they told us to be available for when they call us to come in for free trial that's how far I took it because I believe in my case was one that I could win. Kyle put in diligent work all throughout the two and a half years and he called me about an hour before court closed and I thought he was going to tell me what time to show up in the morning for jury trial but it turns out he was calling with good news they were dropping the charges because they I lost two of their credible witnesses. Rolled a red light after Happy hour and got pulled over. Refused field test and went to police station and called Gerald Miller P.A. They answered immediately and advised me to take the breath test. Tried breath test several times but they were having problems with their machine. After several more tries they said I burped and they consider this a refusal. They drove me downtown to Henn County Jail. Spent less that a full day there until I was offered bond which Jerry set up. Needless to say , I was expecting 30 days jail time and who knows what else. After Kyle and Gerald finished negotiating with Prosecutor, I was fined $1500 and 10 days community service. I had 7 charges and was dropped to 2 charges. So, you are possibly reading this review because you, or someone you know, were stopped by the police and received a citation for a DUI or something similar. Now you know you need a lawyer and are dreading the entire process of finding the right attorney. You wonder if one attorney is any better than another? Should you “shop around” for the best deal? And how do you know you have the best deal and the right attorney? Based upon personal experience through a close family member I can unequivocable tell you that YES, you should shop around for the best deal – with one major caveat. THE BEST DEAL IS NOT NECESSARILY THE BEST PRICE. Let me repeat that, I can promise you; the best price is NOT the best deal. The “best deal” is getting the best lawyer to handle your particular situation. Like it or not, the infraction that you are accused of is a major deal and can lead to serious financial, workplace, and social difficulties. While going through this entire process, we learned that having a lawyer that not only specializes in DUI (or similar issues) but has also racked up YEARS of experience in this field gave us the best chances for a better than anticipated outcome. Gerald Miller is that lawyer. It is almost unbelievable how much time he and his team will devote to understanding you and your situation. Each court in the various jurisdictions in our metro area all have their slightly different idiosyncrasies. Gerald Miller and his team know these courts, their systems, their processes and the personalities within each of these jurisdictions and will use their knowledge to gain the best possible outcome for you. Sometimes you have to realize that once the damage is done (your DUI) your best course of action is to not exacerbate the situation by not having the right representation. Do yourself a favor, have a conversation with Gerald Miller and his team, you will be thankful that you did.

DOWNWARD DEPARTURE GRANTED!! Facing 7-10 years in Prison for Felony DWI & Felony Fleeing (my 7th DWI with two prior Felony DWI's), I called Gerald Miller. I have never in my life been so impressed with an attorney! This man gave me two hours of his time during our initial consultation and told others he would have to call them back when another phone line rang or his cell phone went off. Obviously being in and out of the court system for 20 years, I've called several attorneys and 99% of those calls have resulted in the attorney showing very little interest in talking to me and a "hope everything works out for you" end to the conversation once they find out you might not have enough money for them. Gerald Miller gathered all the details and told me he wanted to meet with his team before making a decision of whether or not they would take on the case. Mr. Miller called me an hour later with the good news. From this moment on, Kyler Dreger was appointed to be my personal attorney through the proceedings. And he absolutely nailed it! Obviously facing this much prison time, there were a lot of questions I had and Mr. Dreger always took the time to make sure everything was covered when I would call, email, or text him. He really took the time to get to know me and built a strong defense based on our conversations. There was a plan made and he executed it exactly as he told me he would. I've been represented by several attorneys who say they will take a certain approach and never follow through with it. Mr. Dreger educated himself on the Anxiety and Depression I had been deaing with and how I was using alcohol to treat it. He beautifully articulated my struggles in a way that I had not been able to.Having legal representation that can advocate for you in court is something I have never experienced. Painting a picture of my life, struggles, and choices since this incident was key and Kyle did it flawlessly. He was also able to argue key points in the Prosecutor's testimony that played a huge role in the sentencing. There were discrepancies he pointed out that I didn't even catch, the main one being that a previous sentence of mine was a STAYED prison sentence, not the downward depature the Prosecutor was claiming it to be. The open guilty plea allowed the Judge to use discretion for sentencing and he did so thanks to Kyle's hard work as he accurately displayed to the court who I am, not what I did. I was sentence to 60 days in jail and 120 days on house arrest. To be quite honest, the way Kyle Dreger powerfully, professionally, and emotionally defended me, it was as if he was the one facing prison time and needed the court to understand the complexity of the situation. That's how impressive this young man is! His calm approach to an aggressive Prosecutor allowed him to point out mistakes and strengthen the defense. Honestly the best representation I have had, I would highly recommend Gerald Miller. He had several attorneys working on my case including himself to ensure nothing would be missed and they could look at it from every angle. He was very personable and accessible while being very efficient and effective. Along with that, he's great at being able to stick up for you in the court room with the prosecutors- I had a multitude of charges he got dropped down. He got me 5 days of Community Service instead of doing jail time for a probation violation for a DWI, to name one and on multiple other probation violations got the court to dismiss it entirely. I also had a Driving After Revocation hearing where he got the court to keep it off my record if I just paid a fine even though I had already had multiple others. Along with that he kept on top of organizing all of the court appearances and documents and even went out of the way to get the documents directly by contacting people himself so I didn't have to.
