Last year my son got in some trouble and I was looking for an attorney so he can turn himself in. I contacted Birc and he advised me on what to do before I even retained him. During the court process Birc was always hands on and kept me informed of everything that was going on due to me living in a totally different state. My son was facing life in jail without the possibility of parole or the death penalty, Birc made it where my son only has to do 8 years...8 YEARS! I was hit with life-destroying false allegations. I was being attacked on all sides and had no one to turn to, no one to talk to and nowhere to go. Helpless and alone, I thought my life was over - until that fateful night when I called Birc. It was just past midnight when I called him, an emotional mess. Since it was past midnight, I was expecting to leave a voicemail, but he answered the phone. I had never been in trouble before and never in my entire life had I needed the services of a criminal defense attorney. Birc and I did not know each other, but I quickly discovered that didn't matter. Even though I was a mess, he was the calm within the storm. Confident and assertive, he explained everything on the front end, gave me advice on my next steps and we set up a meeting the next day. When I arrived for our meeting, he and his staff had already started working on it. This nightmare lasted a whole year, and even though at times I felt like giving up, he and his staff never stopped fighting. They turned over every rock and poured through everything relentlessly. Birc kept me updated every step of the way, and often provided emotional support as well. He was so adamant in my defense, I felt as if I was being defended by my own family. In the end, not only was I completed exonerated - I was redeemed. We all hope we never need the services of a criminal defense attorney. He handled the emotional ups and downs with that human touch. Leading up the trial was easy and he was open to my suggestions. Driving home from Texas we were pulled over going 88 on the interstate. This was a first offense for me, and that day was just trying to keep ahead of the heavy truck traffic, that was when the officer clocked me. I did not need the headache of pleading guilty to the charge Arkansas levels for going 18 over the limit. Risking higher Insurance costs, and having that on my record. I reached out to a few Attorneys. "Birc" had contacted me back, and gave me the reasons why it would be to my advantage to hire a lawyer. After a day of deliberation I hired him. I believe him to be a good family man, and certainly a busy attorney. During the course of my be his client, we stayed in touch via text and emails. His legal assistant Kim also helpful.
