Where do I even begin? I grew up seeing trantolo & trantolo on tv and at events. In my mind, they must have been the best and found out they had a great reputation. I had never thought I would need an injury lawyer but sadly we should always be prepared for the worst and hope for the best. After going more than 30 years with no accidents I was rear-ended on my way to take my sick two-year-old to the doctor. In 2019 I was left with a back injury and doctors who failed to do their part with such a serious injury. To make matters worse I went to my family’s lawyer who should be retired and did very little to help me. Once a brilliant lawyer unfortunately he caused more problems than resolutions as I was never prepped or spoken to until a few hours before my first deposition where I was torn apart by the driver’s insurance company. I was so upset and didn’t know what to do. Luckily the universe aligned and my lawyer had my case transferred to Brian Parrott. Little did my old lawyer know this was such a relief because I felt a stone could do more for me than he had. However, little did I know how much Brian would be able to do for me. Brian stuck with me and kept on me when I felt like giving up. I never felt judged or less than for things that were brought up in my case that were made to make me feel just that awful and take away from the actual issue (my injury). After 3 years we were faced with a lot of roadblocks and were facing going to trial. The insurance from the defense team was ready to do whatever they could to discredit me. With doctors who didn’t do their jobs to help me and document my injuries and visits, it left us with very little to work with and a serious lower back injury that I will suffer for the rest of my life. It’s very sad how low insurance companies will go to win and I learned a very valuable lesson. One I pray I will never have to go through again. But if I do I will know all the proper steps and who to go to because of Brian. Brian did an exceptional job at communicating with me when I was not feeling the greatest. So come January 2023 it was time to either go to trial and face extremely harsh ridicule and humiliation (when I’m the victim suffering) or try to get a settlement. I’m in no place physically or mentally to handle a trial. Because Brian is so easy to talk to he knew this. He assured me he would try to get what he could for my injury which I knew was not going to be easy. We spoke about what they offered and I just wanted him to be compensated and the bills to be paid. I was happy to get anything after that knowing this injury will cost me the rest of my life and course wanted the bills to be paid. Brian shocked me when I went to finally sign and be done with this case yesterday. I had such a positive experience when I finally physically went to Brian’s office at Trantolo. Their office is like one you would see on tv based out of New York in a fancy skyscraper. I was greeted by a lovely receptionist and offered a drink. Tynisa was wonderful and put me at ease when I was speeding there after being late due to dropping my son at school. She was so pleasant. I hugged her twice before I left and cried happy tears when I left his office because this was such an unexpected blessing. If I could change anything it would be that I had Brian as a lawyer from the beginning of this case. Trantolo & Trantolo is so lucky to have him on their team and i was lucky to have him on mine. I was hit by a car by a motorcycle in September of 2019, we settled out of court for the maximum amount in May 2020. I worked with an attorney named Chris and his paralegal partner Anne. They were both amazing throughout the entire process. They constantly we calling and checking in on me over the months where I had multiple surgeries and medical set backs. They took care of practically everything when it came to the insurance companies, which was a huge burden off of me, allowing me to focus on recovering. They called and updated me on information concerning the accident, police report, insurance dealings and their plan of action. All throughout the process, they ensured that we were all on the same page about what we wanted to get/go after. In the end, Chris and Anne were able to get me the maximum amount of money possible for my case and we settled out of court, which saved me a lot of money. This has been an 8 month process from start to end, and there was never a time during that period that I felt I couldn't call either of them and ask a question. Their fee is pretty standard when it comes to attorney fees, nothing higher than what you would pay anywhere else for experienced accident attorneys. All and all, Chris and Anne in the Hartford Trantolo office were extremely helpful, kind, knowledgeable, and experienced enough to get me the maximum settlement without going to court. After my first denial for SS disability I went to Trantolo and Trantolo for their opinion on my case.
