As a Disabled Veteran who was medically separated from the US ARMY in 2010, I've spent over a decade struggling between getting my VA records, service records, physicians and psychological information and records to the Social Security Administration. I've had 2 Congressman attempt to help me and countless Veteran Service Officers, I needed an honest and understanding, serious attorney. Elizabeth was not only candid and honest, she understood my conditions and was understanding and empathetic. My disability is primarily from PTSD suffered from over 3 years of direct combat, as an Army Combat Infantry Platoon Sergeant, but my physical limitations were not explained well in the past claims that I presented to the SSA. Elizabeth was a consummate professional in her presentation of all of the evidence both physical and psychological to the deciding judge presiding over my hearing. I was not comfortable during this process, as the subject itself is extremely stressful for me, however Elizabeth is caring and understanding, most of all patient...and that helped me overcome my discomfort and anxiety going into my hearing. It was a Saturday morning when I first called the Tanis Schultz offices, fresh off the heels with a stay at Grand Rapids finest (on a DUI charge).
