4 years ago I was in a car accident and sustained a serious head injury. Without Sawaya it would have ruined my life. I was fired, I couldn’t find the way to the grocery store, couldn’t remember how many donuts I ate today. I was referred by a close friend. His wife works at sawaya. I can't imagine how my life would look if they had worked at any other law firm. Here is the pitch on frank azars website “Largest in Colorado” which is code for - We can't volume, not quality. That is true for most firms. Which means less care, attention to detail, and a focus on finishing cases fast. Mcdonalds is the largest fast food restaurant, billions and billions served. I won't have life changing pain handled by the Mcdonalds of lawfirms. So I go to their offices, my friend makes sure I have a ride (more on that later) and I know where I’m going. It is not because she is a friend. She manages the department that makes sure everyone gets that level of treatment. When I talk to her about her work and her team she will often say things like “I have to have an amazing staff” or “I usually can’t have someone managing our clients until they’ve been here for almost two months because my team holds people's livelihood in their hands on a daily basis.” Sawaya’s first focus was on making sure I recovered from my accident. There is a concern in law that the legal team tries to “manage” your doctors. Find less expensive ones to keep the recovery costs low, or more expensive ones to push the amount they might get in a recovery, and that can have ramifications if a trial goes to court. Sawaya made sure I had any and all information on what “might” help, and where to get started. Without that I would not be able to type this right now. I would not have the mental capacity without a world class team of specialists and I would have never worked with any of them without going to Sawaya. A family member works in a hospital on severe head injuries and broken neck patients; her opinion was that the specialists I worked with were outstanding. Next in the story, my doctors say about 6 months I should feel about 90-95% better. At 6 months that was true.6 months and 1 day I was in a nearly identical accident, however this time the car that hit me was going faster. One of the amazing specialists was also in a car accident once and then a second shortly after. She did NOT go to Saway. She said her lawfirm was a mess and couldn’t handle it and they gave up. Too much to cover it all, here are some examples of what makes them the best. They are always patient, a rare virtue everywhere. They needed information from me at times, they needed responses, I was never rushed, I was never being annoyed. They are able to do that because they have their records straight. If they needed a document they would fill out every detail for me. You list your phone # for a doctor appointment every visit? I met with Mr. Sawaya and he knew my friend. He knew the name of a case manager’s husband. There are probably 20+ case managers. They gave me a way to pay for care and I never had to track bills, or tracking personal loss. Anything I got I simply sent a copy or a picture and they made sure that it was recorded. I have a backpack full of bills, and invoices, and receipts that I’ve only put things INTO and never had to go back and find something. They will pay your cab. Other lawfirms see drunk accidents a steak dinner. Sawaya pays for less clients. Search for Sawaya Cab program My wife had a grown man with the mental capacity of a 5yr old, AND 2 kids. She would say our life is impossible without Sawaya. More examples: my kids got a lunch box and book, and my lawyer knew their names and ages, My lawyer spent 2 hrs on a call with me during her vacation, they were ALWAYS following state regulations on covid protection, they were willing to help with any request related to my care - not just my lawsuit, and on and on. If you are reading this you are in the situation that I was, feeling like life is ruined and no hope. A lawsuit seems like the only. Sawaya is the best choice.

At the time I didn't have health insurance and it happened 2 months before I would be layed off due to covid. So things were not looking up for me to say the least. Adam Kielich was in charge of my case and I couldn't have asked for anyone better! He was able to get me the maximum settlement and got my $70k hospital bill down to nearly $20k!! Thank you Adam! This firm was recommended by my employer who had already vetted them so I felt comfortable in using this firm Overall, they did what I expected from a law firm -- advocate for me as needed, gather evidence, build a case, take their fair share, and handle surprises and cruddy stuff without involving me if I didn't need to know. Zach E. and his paralegal(s) did a great job with my case. I wish there had been better communication when my case had to move towards a trial (and therefore it was passed between hands) and some things did not get passed to him. But things were quickly fixed on his end. The communication from the Firm was pretty good -- responsive, thorough, and honest. I appreciate Zach's honesty in telling me that though we could go to trial and win a large judgment, if the defendant can't pay, then it probably won't be collectable, and it would just be an expensive moral victory. I think Zach did a good job negotiating with all the insurance companies and providers who wanted a piece of the small pie offered by the defendant's insurance. And even though we have completed the case, Zach is still helping me and looking into some new bills I have received from a few places that had told us my balance with them had previously been 0.00. I also appreciate Mr. Sawaya holding onto his pledge that they would adjust their fees if necessary so that I could have more reasonable compensation.

Sawaya Law Firm Review My case involved an assault, theft, and destruction of personal property outside of a garage that I was moving out of. A friend of the rental property owner took it upon himself to enter the locked garage and steal several thousand dollars worth of tools and recreational equipment. When I approached the owner, the friend shoved seal and struck me while yelling obscenities. The owner and I talked and she said she would take care of it. 10 days later I was attacked, beaten unconscious by the ex-marine while the owner went through my things stealing everything she considered of value and breaking/discarding what she didn't want. The Denver DA's Office prosecuted the man that attacked me but never served the owner. The DA's Office was only interested in getting the Felony Assault. The Jury found him guilty and he was sentenced to 7 years with 3 years probation. The DA's Office failed to file for restitution in a timely manner so I was never compensated for any of my loses. I first went to Rocky Mountain Victim Law whee Kazi Houston put a great deal of time into compiling a list with valuation to the owners Insurance company, Chubb insurance offered an insulting $1k from the $18k value of the loss of tools, art, recreational equipment, etc. The trip alone to the ER was over $8k. RMVL can't represent me in court as they are a Non-Profit but Kazi did line me up with Zach Elsner of the Sawaya Law Firm. Zach and the Team (Stacy and Ethan) worked diligently for me in a battle that took over a year. Two weeks before trial. Chubb Insurance came back with an offer 2 1/2 times what I would have settled for with RMVL. I recommend Zach, Stacy, and Ethan and would use them again. As I'm reading all these great experiences and great out comes of their case and trying to figure out what happened with mine that i was told that it wouldn't be beneficial to the firm to continue with my case I acquired Sawaya Law firm after feeling like i wasn't a priority to another firm. I had Kristina Vasold and i don't how my decision came back unfavorable i had med 9's that stated that it was impossible for me to return to the work force and other documentation from several specialist and how i am currently in physical therapy and will continue to be in physical therapy for various reasons and when i was denied the first time and was ordered to return to the work force i had a heart attack that same year and yet i tried to work till i was unable to due to the pain which there was evidence of & the fact that i stay heavily medicated after being diagnosed with fibromalgia & chronic pain syndrome,anxiety& panic attacks & mental health issues, Severe Carpal tunnel syndrome,sciatic back pain, Neuropathic pain & and still they found that i can work 4-6 hours a day with restrictions and they even had pulled up jobs that i am eligible for,not knowing if i had any kind of experience or not. As i read the decision (exhibit 8F/4)States mental status examination have confirmed a euthymic mood, a restricted affect,a cooperative attitude,a clean appearance,appropriate dress, normal speech and psychomotor activity, fair eye contact and no suicidal idealization so does that mean I'm not i pain so i hope and pray that Kristina did her best in handling my case...the reason for 3 star rating

Well first of all if there was an option for 5 more stars this firm would deserve those too for a perfect 10 star rating! I was a sceptic at first because I was running out of patience because on my own I was denied twice. Once I got Sawaya Law Firm in my life things just turned for the better for me. I'm so disabled that I wasn't able to track down my medical records or do any of the foot work. Sawaya Law Firm took care of everything for me. It took close to 3 years but Social Security finally gave me a hearing in front of a reapectleble judge who granted me Disability and gave me back pay for 5 years. Since my Accident life for me has been very hard. I've had a total of 10 operations and I'm still in need of a couple more surgerys. I'm guilty of being impatient and calling Sawayas and blaming them for not getting my court date sped up. Turns out. They have no control of the government you just have to wait your turn for Uncle Sam to be ready to see u in Court. I felt really bad when I Did finally meet my Lawyet before The day before Court. There just ain't no need for them to see you until then. My lawyer's name is Jason. I have to tell you. If you have your life in someone's hands. I recommend you put them in Jason's hands. He's very down to earth. Very Smart, and also a very good Lawyer. He spoke to myJudge in my behalf and was very thorough. So to the people who have no patience like I did and decided to give them a low review. I ask you to reconsider your review and please have patience and take my word that there doing everything possible for you and they have no control of the court Docket. It's a Federal Matter so there dealing with Millions of Claims annually. Please don't give this Firm a bad opinion and have the patience and give them the chance to represent you. I guarantee you will not regret it. They even took my case with no Money down. And only get paid if you win. Social Security will deduct there fee from your settlement automatically. And pay them directly. The Fee was worth every penny. They also helped me qualify for SSI which increased my Monthly Paychecks along with my Disability to a reasonable amount which I will now be able to afford to survive and have a place of my own. After as many Couches and relatives I've had to live with over the years because I wasn't able to work due to my injurys. This is like a second chance at life. And I wouldn't of had this opportunity with out Sawaya Law Firms Help. So Thank You Jason. Thank You Michelle. Michelle is One of the lawyers assistants that was assigned my case. She was wonderful. A person would think that such a big time law firm you would just be another number but that is NOT the case with Sawaya Law Firm. I was involved and baldly injured in a car accident when a car on the highway next to me lost control. My own insurance company was no help from the day I reported it. Nobody wants to be in an auto accident, most specifically not when it involves personal injury. I had the misfortune of suffering through the aftermath of a senseless rear-end collision. Clear skies, dry roads, medium traffic and I sat at a Red light on Bowles Ave.when a young teen-ager rear-ended me. I was pushed into a mini-van.
