I first met Tim a couple of years ago and wasn’t quite ready to go through bankruptcy. I held on to his card because I knew that once I was ready, I would be coming back to see him. The attorneys, and paralegals we’re always great to work with and communicated information honestly. Reception and front desk staff are not the nicest people to deal with. They usually would seem very irritable when answering the phones. That’s the one negative experience I had and it was very consistent through my bankruptcy process. If it wasn’t for the attorney and paralegals professionalism I would not have recommended anyone to King and King. The front office is the first line of communication....they need some training on communication and phone etiquette.

I found King & King online and called them with a stressful situation. I started looking for a lawyer after the sobering reality that after a divorce, and looming foreclosure on my home, bankruptcy was my only option to get back on my feet. I first chose a large bankruptcy firm in Atlanta. After a half hour meeting at their office, I literally sat in my car and cried, overwhelmed with the cost and process, not to mention I felt like I had just been hurried through an impersonal meeting about a very personal matter. The next day I started calling smaller bankruptcy firms, and King & King was the first one to call me back--personally. At our first meeting, after I explained my somewhat complicated financial issues, they took the time to explain the best options and recommendations for my case. Good morning, my name is Manuel Puello and this is my story. My paycheck was garnish in early September because of a credit card that I honestly forgot about. I was confused and I had absolutely no idea on how to begin the process to stop the garnishments. I was listening to 97.5 “The Steve Harvey Morning Show” when they promoted a commercial about King and King Attorneys At Law. I called them around 1:30 PM, I left a brief message explaining my story, and two hours later, they contacted me back! We scheduled an official appointment date for the next following day. Throughout the whole entire process, whenever I would get confused or not understand one of the forms I had to sign, I will contact one of the many lawyers at the Atlanta office and they would always be there, explain to me what the form is about and would not let me hang up the phone until I completely understand everything. I will gladly refer friends and families to King and King Attorneys At Law to anybody who needs assistance with paycheck garnishment issues.

I agree with Shelia, Diamond, and Anyone else who has given King and King a low rating. I've heard the commercials all over the radio and decided to give them a call to explore my options. The first time i called, the receptionist was very quick to respond without even taking my name but quick to tell me how much the fees would cost me. Mind you, she never asked me my name or my situation..just when could i pay. I was taken aback that i had to explain to her that she had not realized she didn't ask me for ANY information, just when i could pay. I explained to her my situation and the first thing she said was i'll send the fees to your email. I waited for weeks, and it wasn't in my spam which she explained the first time might happen. Finally after weeks of no response from an attorney or email, i called backed and was passed around at LEAST four times in ten minutes. I couldn't even explain to any individual i spoke to what i was calling about before they kept putting me on hold. The last person spoken to was the receptionist i INITIALLY spoke to the first time. After explaining to her who i was just said "okay okay i think i spoke to you already" and hung up the phone. Mind you people... I'M NOT EVEN A CLIENT..just calling to learn more about the services!! Thank you King and King for allowing me to dodge a bullet and that's why i took my money Elsewhere. **I also gave this a 5 star so everyone could read as well.**

I agree with Kimberly Mason. DO NOT USE THIS LAW FIRM FOR ANYTHING. A friend of mine used them and she has had a worst experience with them than with dealing with the bank in essence to the foreclosure on her home. I called King and King for her because she was so distraught over her home possibly being foreclosed and the receptionist hung up on me because I was asking questions (very politely) on my friends behalf. I called back and spoke to one of the attorneys who was just a rude because I guess the questions was too hard for her, Samantha, to answer. My friend had already given consent to speak on her behalf; however the attorney just hung up the phone simply because she was more concerned with going home than answering questions (it was close to 6 pm). Their filing fees for bankruptcy ARE NOT competitive with other bankruptcy lawyers in the Atlanta or Metro Atlanta area and every time you go to them for anything, it's another charge they add to your case. Dang these people are already in bankruptcy which means they are struggling to make it. Shouldn't all charges be included in that almost $3000 they charge to file your case? King & King received documents for my friend dated 10/03/15 that she did not receive from King& King until 11/10/15 which was beyond the due date the bank was suppose to receive them from my friend. I gave this 5-stars so it can be seen and viewed by everyone. RUN FORREST RUN...DO NOT USE KING & KING...for anything. They do not return phone calls, answer email mails, or submit documents that they received timely to you the client. I too like sheilagary07 on behalf of my friend said I wanted to voice a complaint about the service received and she actually LAUGHED & HUNG UP. At least she offered to send Sheila's call to voicemail. During financial difficulty, you are already going through a lot of stress; why use a law practice that will put you through more HELL than you are dealing with? DO NOT USE KING & KING!!!!!!!!
