Myself and my fiancé cannot thank the YWCA enough. We had recently faced a hardship and were behind on our utility and rent. We were trying to catch up on our our own when our apartments forced us to seek assistance or move. The same day we applied, we were approved and a huge weight was lifted off our shoulders. I do not even have the words to describe how thankful we are and we will truly never forget the help that we received.

I owe my life to this place. They have helped me in every way possible! From helping me and my husband get a ruff over our heads , right on down to gettin ID cards , even help get your debt in order and back on track! Which is a big win for me. They also help you (family) with food, medical needs for yourself And your minis. They help with EVERY SINGLE thing with children!!! School clothes, doctor visits, theu even help pay for children's median's or glasses things of that nature. They help with schooling for yourself and your kids!!! Also just discovered they are willing to help get your license back as well.
The only thing they ask in return is too follow their simple guide lines, and work on bettering yourself, future and current situation!
I'm so thankful I found this program to help. Its a great stepping stone for those of us who just need an extra hand while we get caught up!

The YWCA Building was opened in 1914 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006. Cool looking Building!

Although the Location is great people are unfriendly. The building has many problems including pest issues. Although the landlord is very considerate and has a heart for people. She is a great asset to the community.
