Donors... please don't overlook United Way. In doing Research for our Family Foundation, I reviewed their Financials and found them to be EXTREMELY efficient in their ADMIN / SERVICES ratio. Upon further investigion, I found out why. Here's the answer, from their own Website... " [United Way of King County] benefit from the Gates Administrative Endowment. Begun by the Gates Foundation and generously funded by thousands of donors, the earnings of this endowment help us offset our expenses. On average, 95 cents of every dollar donated goes to meet community need." For comparison, 80% efficienty is really good. They are at 95%. It's almost like you're giving your money directly to the Poor and Needy. Pretty amazing. Thank You United Way. Keep up the Great Work!
