It was my first time giving blood, I'm happy that I could help somebody and yes I would do it again. If you have rolling veins like I do make sure you tell them what you're going to end up with the very ugly bruise

I think this organization is very good! When I donated blood it went very easily and really good. It was at a mobile blood drive. I haven’t been back since my initial visit to the facility. It’s kinda my own fault since I have a higher platelet count. I kept clotting the machine. The needle was so far in my arm it really hurt. I understand they were doing what they felt was right but I actually am kinda scared of needles but do this because I think it’s a great cause. Don’t let me deter you I’m just telling my story. I just wish the amazing nurse who was able to help adjust it the last time and take it out of my arm was the initial one who helped me. She really saved me.

I wasn't able to donate blood when I was there due to my small and hard to find veins (I usually stay hydrated). It was the 1st time I tried to donate in years because of that reason. I refuse to blame Red Cross for my small veins. The staff tried very hard to find my veins, but were unable to. The staff was very nice and I loved my nurse, Summer, she was kind, reliable, and patient. *Side note: If you want to donate blood, but have difficult and small veins, don't let that stop you. Just ask for someone who is really good at finding veins. It doesn't hurt to try!

I am a regular donor. I like this location. It is easy to find (clear signage on outside of building) and there is designated parking for donors. I am taken at appointment time, the process is quick and efficient, staff are pleasant and good at sticks! It is a positive experience here.

So glad my husband david white and I were able to give blood today at waverly . Great experience. They worked him in. Today is good friday. Sooo good for us yet so hard for Jesus. His blood donation required laying down his life. Buy now He lives and I really do because of Him.

I donated platelets and it couldn't have been a better experience! I have to say I was a bit surprised there wasn't an area designated for donors to have a snack before leaving the building. Snacks were available on a counter in the (empty) front lobby.
