We have worked with Duerden's in the past and always had a good experience. Our refrigerator died yesterday and we needed to replace it fast. When we went in, Brent helped us find the best fit for what we needed and with a quick delivery! He was so patient with us without any pressure at all! We had specific needs and he matched us up with a great new refrigerator at a very, very good price! Brent went above and beyond to help us and was always cheerful and positive! We highly recommend shopping at Duerden's and will definitely be back! The freshly baked chocolate chip cookies on the counter made it especially sweet!

I’ve lived in Davis County—Bountiful, Fruit Heights— most my life, so I was always aware of Duerden’s but rarely considered them relevant when buying appliances because they had the perception of being expensive, and a bit arrogant. But then my daughter recently told me of their experience buying a washer/dryer from Duerden’s. They were very friendly, highly knowledgeable about their products, and offered guaranteed lowest prices and customer satisfaction. Plus, there was no pressure sales people and they made it easy to buy. My daughter was right…We ended up purchasing an LP washer/ dryer combo, and we know they will stand behind our purchase if we have any issues. They are worth a visit!

In the past, we have always used big box stores out of what we thought was convenience when purchasing appliances. When doing an extensive remodel, I knew I wanted to do a better job researching appliances and where to purchase them. I saw Duerden’s pop up as carrying the line of appliances I was looking at. Not being located very close to me, I decided to start by calling to ask some questions first. I was lucky enough to have Brent help answer my questions. I thought I had a pretty good idea browsing the website, and sent him a list of what I was thinking of buying. He looked over everything, called me and walked me through all of my choices and even found a couple of better options based on either features or pricing. It’s not very often you have such great attention and commitment when you’re first calling or telling a place you’re starting to look. I came into the store the next day, and he took as much time as I wanted going through every appliance and option. He was very honest and upfront about estimated shipping dates, and how they can be adjusted by the manufacturer. After ordering, I received my spec sheets not even 24 hours later to send for our cabinet specs. Even though we are months away from a few of the appliances, I feel like we got competitive pricing and amazing customer service to match. When our old refrigerator suddenly stopped working we were in a jam. Our neighbor suggested checking out Duerden's Appliance. As a local company, they may have inventory and could be very helpful. Well, they were 100% right. We worked with Todd. He was quick to assess our situation and what we needed in a refrigerator. He then proceeded to show us several models that were all in stock. The best part was when the new appliance was delivered in <48-hours. The delivery team set it up, gave us a quick demo and hauled off the old refrigerator. It was a great experience and will be the only place we go in the future to purchase an appliance.

Stopped by Duerdens before heading to HD. Really prefer to support local retailers. Brent was so courteous to work with. He noticed my covid mask and proceeded to get one. He was able to price match for a BETTER refrigerator, plus get it delivered in a few days. When the new fridge arrived it wouldn't fit despite being listed as a smaller height than the replacement. No problem, the guys offered to leave it so I wouldn't be without while we figured what to do. Went back to see what would work, was advised they would call me with my options. When Brent called he felt like this new fridge would work and offered at the SAME price. Still a better fridge than original or the larger one. No mention of additional costs for delivery. As dumb luck would have it there was an accident while delivering this fridge and they fixed it same day and if unable they would have loaned the damaged fridge. Delivery was so great with a call the night before and again when enroute. I'm a Huge Fan of such impressive customer service, THANK YOU Duerden's

We have been buying all of our appliances from Duerdens for almost 15 years and have never been disappointed. I would not even consider anywhere else. Their employees are like family to each other and follow on service is impeccable. Brent in the sales force makes sure your have made the right choice and has amazing knowledge and patience. Tim as head of installation will drop what he is doing at the office and come to your house to solve any installation questions. He even gave us his favorite steam oven recipes! Finally, the receptionist Laurie actually googled my questions in her free time and called me back to help me learn my appliances better. This type of service is priceless. We had the most positive experience here! We were greeted warmly, offered drinks and fresh cookies, and showed around to only appliances that fit our desires. We really felt like they had our best interest in mind and we’re trying to help. Then they delivered as soon as possible because we were out a fridge. The delivery guys were quick and respectful. After having Home Depot lie about our delivery 4 times, kept us waiting almost 2 weeks before I finally just decided this business doesn’t deserve my money. Then having lowes cancel our delivery because they were out of stock. I decided to come here and just see how it went, Brent was wonderful! I was there less than hour and they had everything I wanted in stock and a deli every date in 2 days! Also was about $500 cheaper than lowest and Home Depot! Give them a shot! Thank you!

I bought a new box spring and mattress extra firm mattress they deliver to my place and take the old box spring and mattress with them very nice and enjoyable experience I also bought a pillow from them specialty type it is too firm for me and I hope they will take it back and give me a refund other than that I am pleased with their service

Duerden's is the Mercedes of appliance retailers! My fridge broke down on a Utah holiday and they offered to lend me a fridge and deliver it until mine was fixed as I bought mine through them. They made sure I had my sale's receipt so it was all under warranty, did not charge me for the rental. Absolutely awesome people they brought it out that day and picked it up the day that they got my fridge fixed awesome awesome thank you!

My experienced at Duerden's confirmed the perks of buying appliances from a local vendor rather than a larger franchise. The employee who treated us was exceptionally knowledgeable about every product on and off display, he saved us hundreds of dollars by knocking down prices to fit our budget a little bit better, and the entire process was simple, straight-to-the-point, and relatively painless (spending lots of money will always be a little painful...Haha). As you know, most everything is difficult to get right now. We couldn't find a dishwasher to replace our broken one in all of the Salt Lake valley. I happened to call Duerden's and he started to say no until I asked if he had a white one. He was surprised. They had one white dishwasher that had never been picked up and everyone wants stainless steel. It was a small miracle for us! Brent and the staff were absolutely amazing and the drive was worth it! AMAZING. 11/10. We waltzed into this place 30 minutes before closing on a Saturday, and were completely BLOWN AWAY by how kind and helpful and efficient the people are here. Immediately offered a soft drink, shown exactly what we were looking for, given options with honesty, and when they found out we needed the appliance that night - they loaded the floor model into our truck. We were in and out in under 30 minutes. I will only be going here for appliance purchases from now on!!!!! Don’t waste your time anywhere else….this is the place

Update: Duerden's did right by us when the Bertazzoni company would not. It took a little bit of time but they allowed us to return the defective range and we paid more money to upgrade to a GE cafe. We love it! Would not recommend Bertazzoni or their customer service to anyone. They would not acknowledge that their range was a lemon. We WOULD recommend Duerden's to everyone, including our daughter who we just took there. She bought 4 appliances from them for her kitchen Reno. A+. Sales and buying experience was fine and the gentleman was knowledgeable. However, that said, I was shocked that we spent over $5,000 for a range (and microwave) and the range was dropped off without any kind of wrapping or protecting. No box or cardboard, or even some bubble wrap or plastic to protect it. Nothing wrapped around the feet. ???!!! Imagine if you ordered a new cell phone or something and the delivery guy just showed up and handed you the phone. No packaging materials or box, just "here ya go." It was like they were delivering a box of laundry detergent and not a beautiful appliance. Ridiculous. First and last time at this retailer. Minor scratches and we have to figure out how to keep it protected until we are ready to install it when the kitchen is finished. =( Response to owners reply: Hi Todd. You misunderstand. The item was not installed but delivered/left in the garage. It came off the truck without packaging. It was not unpacked/unwrapped and then left. It was delivered in this state.

We ended up placing an order elsewhere for an appliance package of a new home build. We did have a positive enough experience here at Duerdens however that I wanted to leave a review. My wife and I walked into the showroom mid-morning on a weekday with both our toddlers with us. Kathy was great to help show us around the showroom (which is large, and well stocked). She was patient with our kids, helped educate us on things we wouldnt have known to ask about. I would highly recommend a visit here if you are in need of any appliances. We hope someday to be back and have a need to order something with Kathy!

This is why you buy local. Also, the installers were FANTASTIC. It was challenging, but they never gave up and got it done. A+. DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM THE BIG BOX STORES! I made this mistake and had a terrible experience. I ended up returning my appliances to the big box store due to my appliance being defective (don't get me started). Then a friend introduced me to Duerden's. My experiences have been the polar opposite. I've purchased from Duerden's on two separate occasions now. Each instance saved me at least a hundred dollars compared to the competitor's equivalent. In addition, the ease of service was superior. Their customer service is second to none! They've gained a customer for life.

My old refrigerator went out suddenly, leaving me in quite a bind. I tried Home Depot but they said they were at least 8 days out on delivery. I was frustrated, but I'm sure glad because I decided to try Duerden's. The salesman, Travis, was awesome. He helped me find a better fridge than the one I had looked at over at Home Depot, and it cost less too! He had originally told me that delivery would be the next day, but in the end he hustled and managed to have my new fridge delivered just 30 minutes later!!! The delivery guys were super cool. They were very careful not to hurt anything and they cleaned up after themselves. They were fun to chat with too. I will never go anywhere else for my appliance needs. Save yourself the trouble and the dent in your pocketbook and skip Home Depot, Lowe's and RC Willey. These guys are better AND they're local!

Duerden's is the best (and only) place to purchase appliances. I am a long time resident of Bountiful and have been buying our appliances from them for over 17 years. The reason I keep coming back is because of their excellent customer service and fair prices. Last year, they provided a whole home package for our remodel. Not only did we get great prices, but they worked with us to have the appliances delivered and installed on our crazy remodel schedule. Todd and his team are excellent, responsive, and very helpful with even the smallest request. I don't even wast time shopping elsewhere because I know I will get the best value and service for my money at Duerden's.

I've been ordering from Duerden's in Bountiful for a number of years. What a great company to work with. They're always so helpful and knowledgeable and on top of that, extremely accommodating. I had a very difficult refrigerator install and their guys made it work and did it without damaging the appliance or the home. Such a great place to purchase kitchen appliances and mattresses. I have purchased several times here and they have great customer service and installation. I purchased a French door refrigerator about 9 months ago and this past weekend we moved. The movers we hired could not figure out how to get the doors off the fridge to move it. I called Durden's and they had 2 guys there within a hour of my call. They quickly took the door off and didn't even charge me for it! Now that's going the extra mile for customers.

I went in today and they were incredibly busy due to the holiday. Despite that Brent made sure to acknowledge that I was there and they would be with me soon. He ended up being the one to help me and apologized for the wait saying that they never want to have anyone waiting (which was only 10 min - much better than it would have been anywhere else on an appliance buying holiday). He helped me purchase the appliance I needed and had it loaded in my truck about 5 min later (the whole trip was less than 20 min). They are friendly and have great pricing. I have a family member who worked here a few years back and they really took care of him. That translates into how their employees treat customers so well. We had 7 kitchens with one being custom. Duerdens is wonderful. Starting with the sales, Kathy and Todd helped with finding just what I needed and wanted. Chris was extremely helpful in making sure we were ready to install. So gracious to move things around when we were not ready. Then the delivery of all the appliance went so well. The men are so respectful of the project. They also left no trace of them being there.(they took the packaging with them) Awesome job. They worked with me even when I was wrong. I always start at the big box stores but airways end up at Duerden's. Always more willing to work with you and they match pricing of the box stores or are less expensive than the box stores. No pressure from sales staff and they always know their stuff. Went for a dishwasher and ended up also getting a Bosh mixer.

Brent helped us pick out the very best appliances, never pressured us or felt "salesy" and educated us on the different features of the appliances. He saved us when our builder dropped the ball and forgot to order our range hood which happens to be back ordered a whole month! I told Brent the situation and he saved the day by getting the exact range hood (for a better price) right away! His installation team came out to install appliances and found that our builder had not prepared the spaces correctly and without any complaints they came back out a second time (without charging us) to install the appliances again after the spaces were properly prepared! Brent helped us get a big rebate on our appliances, filled out all the paperwork and gave it to us to mail in. Throughout our stressful building experience, Duerden's was so wonderful to work with and made this part of the experience a breeze! You can count on getting A+ service, the best quality and amazing prices. Don't waste your time going anywhere else.

We had a combination build-in. They came out and measured at no cost. Home Depot, Lowes charge, locking you in to buying from them to get charge applied.` Duerden's price checks, they match. They check all sales promotions that are going on by manufacturers. They install professionally and are very careful, was opposed to delivery who get paid on being fast (think R.C. Wiley ). Duerden's found a dent in a dishwasher, went and got another one. They did not try to hide the defect, which was slight. You will find them helpful, professional (extremely) and great installation.

WOW! I’ve driven by this place for years, but have never stopped in until today. I regret waiting so long to visit this store. These guys have an excellent selection. A wide range of appliances, including high end SubZero and Wolf. My wife and I walked out amazed by the service, knowledge, speed and friendliness of the staff. While I’d expect and be willing to pay a premium for this kind of service and speed, their prices were very competitive and they had the hard-to-find appliance we were looking for IN STOCK! We were in and out of the store with everything we needed in 10 minutes. After recently making a few purchases at big box stores who messed up our order, drug the purchase process out for hours (if youre lucky enough to find someone to help you) had it delivered weeks later in multiple deliveries by installers who didnt know or care and no one to call without waiting 30 minutes on hold, we just assumed that was the way appliance shopping was supposed to be. When I purchased a Mattress here back in 2010, I would have rated it 5 stars that year and the next 2 years after. I loved our mattress. They had fantastic customer service from the guys in the store to help you figure out what you wanted, and after shopping at about 10 other mattress stores and mostly being ignored by the employees, this was a nice change. The reason I'm not still rating it 5 stars is because I've moved far enough away that I feel the need to buy a mattress for my child from somewhere closer... and my NEW research indicates I paid too much for my Duerden's Serta Mattress. I bought a queen size Serta that was close to or was the least expensive mattress they had in the store. It's a solid wire coil, rather than individual pockets. They sold me on the superiority of that type of mattress and how you can't feel the other person roll over. It seemed true when we first got the mattress, but I've come to find out that that's not the case after 5 years of use (it's suppose to last 10 years). This mattress had no extra pillowtop layer; just a basic mattress. On top of that, I need a softer mattress than I use to need. When purchased, I needed a firm mattress for lower back support, but now I have achey hips and shoulders in the morning and I need a softer bed. But for having paid $1000 (mattress, low profile box spring, & basic frame), I feel like I need to use this bed for the full 10 years, or even longer to get my moneys worth. Consumer reports say mattresses are marked up so high, you should only get them on good sales for about 50% off or more. With all my mattress shopping this year, I would compare my current mattress with the ones I'm finding in about the $350 range. I paid about $800 for the mattress. So, all in all, they're a good place, but definitely be ready to argue the price down.
