We've purchased major appliances at Gerhard's on two occasions and have been very pleased with our experiences. We found sales staff to be very knowledgeable about the products they sell and they also made some good recommendations. In both cases the appliance we wanted was in stock and delivery was very timely. To top it all off we found their pricing to be the most favorable in each case. Doesn't get much better than that!

I've had two excellent appliance purchase and delivery experiences (GE electric range and microwave, Frigidaire dishwasher) this year with Gerhard's. I did my homework before coming into the store, that is key, it helps to know what you REALLY want w/in your budget bracket first. The sales person, a different one each time, knew their products well. I asked them to upsell me if they thought I'd get more value for my money. They didn't push, just presented great choices in a matter of fact way. Gerhard's prices were competitive with all others, sometimes better. Delivery, install and takeaway went great. I had plumbing issues for the dishwasher install and the guys handled it there and then. Yes, I had to pay for that extra work but the cost was fairly close to what a plumber would charge --should I even be able to get one w/in a month. Gerhard's has got the entire appliance buying experience covered very well. Need a fridge later, I will get it from them. Done deal.

We had a great experience with Gerhard’s in Ardmore. We called and spoke with Rachael, who was able to answer questions about a dishwasher we were looking at online. She helped us purchase and set up delivery very quickly. We were glad to learn their delivery fee was lower than big box stores. They supplied tracking and updates for the delivery and the technician was patient while I finished prepping the house for him to come in. Installation went smoothly. We’d certainly recommend and use Gerhard’s again!

Gerhard's provides a top notch experience from beginning to end. A professional sales and delivery team with great communication and no third party services which is where the issues usually arise. Our installation crew delivered our new refrigerator, hooked up the water line, and took our old one away all in about ~20 minutes. They were on time, friendly, experienced, efficient, and I couldn't have asked for a better outcome on something that I spent hours stressing about for no reason at all. Thank you Gerhard's for everything, I hope our next appliance doesn't die soon but when it does there's no doubt about where I'll be taking my business.

We purchased the set of stainless steel Frigidaire major kitchen appliances from Gerhard's in Ardmore. The installation was on-time and speedy. We are very pleased. The installers were pleasant and thorough. I had to subtract a star from the rating because the delivering installers left our storm door wide open the entire time and house flies and mosquitoes took full advantage to invade our house! I've taken care of the flies, but I'm allergic to mosquito bites, and they LOVE me! Fortunately, I have plenty of anti-itch cream available so it was not as bad as it might have been. Had I seen earlier that the door was propped open, I would've held it open for the installers and closed it after they brought in each appliance--but it is the door to our enclosed porch so I failed to notice it until they left. Otherwise, we were quite pleased with the purchase, price, delivery, and installation of our S/S refrigerator, stove/oven, dishwasher, and microwave oven! What an improvement to our tiny, 100-year old kitchen!

From a washer and dryer to a microwave, to a dishwasher, they have what I need in stock (except with the dishwasher: supply chain issues), competitive pricing, and easy and fast installation. My washer had a problem within the warranty deadline, and they sent a technician quickly to replace a defective part. I would highly recommend.

Gerhard's in Ardmore, especially Rachel, understood our size limitations for a washer/dryer because we have an older home. She helped us find what would work at a reasonable price. It turned out we had to wait some time for the items to arrive from the supplier but Rachel took care of us in that regard, too. The delivery team was excellent - prompt, pleasant, and careful with our narrow doorways. All in all, I'll go back when we need another appliance.

My husband purchased a new refrigerator at gerhards and it was delivered today. It has two big marks on the refrigerator door. My husband called the salesperson Rachel and she told him its probably glue. However it is not glue as it won't come off. After speaking with the salesperson Rachael on the phone, she said gerhards would order a new door but she asked me to check to see if there was a plastic film still on doors. There was plastic on the doors and we removed it and the marks were not underneath. I am happy to know gerhards would have ordered a new door to make sure we were satisfied with our purchase.

I was very impressed with the whole experience. The sales person was very knowledgeable and well aware of warranty issues when placing appliance in a business. We went with their recommended commercial washer (Maytag) which was cheaper than Speed Queen (which was the one I originally wanted) because Speed Queen did not have a warranty for commercial use. Also the delivery process was perfect. Right on time and they kept us well informed of their time. After dealing with other places (Home Depot namely in past), I will only purchase my appliance from Gerhard's in the future. You have a lifetime customer here.

I needed a simple washing machine for a rental unit - just knobs, no electronic panels to break and an old time agitator in the middle of a top loader, as I think they clean better. Knowledgeable and IN STOCK! I worked with Rachel in the Ardmore location. She was a fountain of information. She really knows her washers and dryers, did not pressure me with any particular product, just gave me the honest pros and cons and let me make the decision. I never felt rushed or that I didn't have her full attention. And the best part, everything was in stock! I went there on Friday and I had everything was delivered on Wednesday. The delivery guys were respectful and didn't waste any time. Went to a "big box store" first and the person working there couldn't tell me anything about the machines and next to nothing was in stock. I have to admit I was skeptical at first - you hear so many war stories about ANY appliance purchases these days. Gerhard's had what we wanted (wall oven) and was able to install in 3 days. Matt, the sales guy in Ardmore, was professional, knowledgeable, and a joy to work with. The delivery team came within the window they had specified and were in and out in 20 minutes (wearing masks and protecting the work area). I would not hesitate to use Gehard's again for any future appliance purchases. Highly recommended. Follow-up to my earlier review (1/26/2022) ... After such a positive experience last October with our wall oven we decided to go to Gerhard's for a washer / dryer combination. As was the case before, the staff was very courteous and professional, and explained all the features to us clearly (who knew washers could be so complicated - LOL!). We scheduled delivery for 5 days later and the crew came on time and did a great job. Oh - and their prices were equal to or better than Home Depot. I can't think of why I wouldn't go to Gerhard's for all of my appliance needs. Highly recommended!!!

Our washing machine broke and for what they charge to fix it we decided to buy a new one. I first stopped at Lowe’s since it was on my way gone from work. While I was looking at washers I was sending pictures to my wife to see which one she liked. I was probably there 20 minutes and the entire time the salesman , who was just standing at his register talking to another employee, never even approached me. When he finally did come over he was short with any information and rude. You could tell he didn’t want to be there and he had no desire to make a sale. I finally just left thinking I’m not going to give this guy my sale after being treated like that. The next day I was at work in Ardmore and I was telling my co-worker what had happened. He told me about Gerard’s Appliances and he told me that he had purchased several appliances there and that the sales people were friendly and knowledgeable. He also said that the prices and the service were much better than Lowe’s or Hone Depot. I took a ride later that morning and he was right. The minute I walked in the door I was warmly greeted and they asked how could they help me. Even though they didn’t have the washer I was looking for in the showroom, I showed them a picture and right away they knew which one it was. I got an excellent price and with taking out the 5yr extended warranty it was still cheaper than Lowe’s. Gerhard’s has earned my business and the next time I need an appliance Gerhard’ will earn my business again.

So far I have given this place money for a refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, a washer/dryer set, and a grill. While I have in the past had regrets over financial decisions, none of those times have been with Gerhards. I can only speak for the Ardmore store, as I haven't been to any of the other locations. That being said. The selection of appliances are alright (it is 2020 after all). The sales staff knew their stuff, all my questions were answered. No pressure from them either. Even the people working at the counter and answering phones are polite and professional. Everything was shipped and was delivered or was ready for pick-up in a timely fashion. They even reach out through phone/email to give you notice of your deliveries and have you confirm them the night before. The delivery/install crew was super nice, knowledgeable, efficient and was utilizing their PPE and maintaining a 6' while working. All and all why would you go anywhere else.

Our dishwasher of 20+ years (came with the house) stopped working and needed to be replaced. I stopped by Gerhard's in Ardmore and looked in the showroom. The salesperson told me that many of the dishwashers were on backorder but we found one that I liked in their inventory. Since we were without a working machine at home, I asked for the quickest install option. They were able to schedule me four days later with a private contractor. The contractor was great, he removed the old unit, made adjustments to install the new unit and left everything in wonderful condition!

I recently purchased a gas dryer from Gerhard's with delivery and installation after an appalling experience trying to do the same through Lowe's. I didn't see exactly what I wanted on their website, but the salesperson in the store helped me find the style I was looking for. All of their communication was straightforward throughout the process. Their delivery team showed up early in the 4-hour delivery window and had the dryer installed in fifteen minutes. They were courteous and professional. The whole thing took less time than the Lowe's sub-contracted delivery service took to rattle off 15 excuses for why they couldn't complete the installation. I highly recommend Gerhard's, and I will definitely be going there first in the future!

I recently ordered a refrigerator from Gerhard's and had a fantastic experience from first contact to delivery and installation. We've bought appliances from Gerhard's in the past and had good experiences. However, we made the mistake of ordering a fridge from a big box store this year. The big box stores do not use their own delivery company and they claim they can't take the appliances out of the box until it arrives at customer location. For us, this meant spending an entire morning emptying out fridge & disconnecting water line only to have a dented-up fridge show up. Realizing our mistake, I immediately cancelled the order and called Gerhard's, who had the fridge we wanted in stock and at a better price. Their delivery staff was fantastic - on-time, personable, and professional. They removed the old fridge and delivered the new one without incident. They set up the fridge and gave me a quick overview of how it worked. Just a perfect delivery experience, which I would argue is maybe the most important part of any appliance purchase.

I have become a big fan of Gerhard's. At different times I have bought a microwave, oven, washer, and dryer. Each time I got very helpful advice, excellent installation, and once even an unexpected big rebate. This time I bought a small GE refrigerator to provide a little more storage. With the virus around I had them just leave it on our porch. But I discovered later cosmetic damage to the freezer door and latch. Got a little nervous when Gerhard's said they would see what GE might do. I had--totally unwarranted--visions of people dodging responsibility. Nope, Jessica Formichelli at Gerhard's talked with GE, and simply gave me a new refrigerator and removed the damaged one. All I expected was maybe a couple bucks towards my next purchase. Talk about exceeding expectations. I see reviews that have panned Gerhard's. Have no idea how that happens. I could have bought the refrigerator for just a couple bucks cheaper at the big chain. But I doubt I would have gotten such satisfying service elsewhere. I am staying with Gerhard's.

I had a fantastic experience with my dishwasher purchase and installation. I previously ordered the same dishwasher from Home Depot and cancelled the order after the technicians complained that the dishwasher was too hard to install and I’d need to call a “handyman”. They ended up breaking the dishwasher and bringing it back. I was able to call Gerhards and have the same dishwasher delivered (at the same price) within 2 days. The entire call took less than the amount of time I was on hold waiting to cancel The Home Depot order. When it arrived the technician was fantastic. Christian immediately introduced himself to me, was professional, and courteous. He was able to install and test the dishwasher within an hour. I would absolutely recommend Gerhards.

This is my first time purchasing an appliance from gerhards. I had so much trouble dealing with another large company, that i cancelled that order and decided to see what I could find at gerhards. The agent online, David Reece, was so helpful in answering all of my questions and was able to get the order completed quickly, efficiently and even with a discount. My dryer broke. I had bought other appliances with them through a referral and, during quarantine, I was worried about ordering anything. To my surprise, they answered on the 1st ring and even checked an in-stock sale item that was returned because it didn't fit for another customer. Saved me hundreds and had the most amazing setup for their warrantee. I was sold! Delivery was quick(offered next day even), safe and friendly. I couldn't have been more happy. Both excellent (and I'm very sorry I don't know either one's name). The salesman was knowledgeable, helpful without being pushy, efficient, courteous, accommodating. I know I'll be buying a washer and dryer before too long and I asked about them, and even knowing I wasn't going to be buying then, he gave me a ton of good information about washers and dryers. I realized not all research can or should be done online; it pays to talk to people in the business. The installation was scheduled the next day, and the installer kept me informed of his arrival time and was on time. He was also efficient, pleasant, knew his stuff. He had to contend with poor contractor work from the prior installation, and he just figured out what to do and did it. He cleaned up everything and left the kitchen spotless. Gerhard's is the only place I will buy appliances from.

So we went to Gerhard’s - they were super helpful especially because of everything with COVID making it more difficult. Purchased a Bosch dishwasher from here just a few weeks ago. I had done my research on what I wanted (a Bosch or Miele model with a water softener) and thought I was completely set to order when I walked in. This is where talking to a professional helps. I realized, after all my research prior, that I had picked an ADA model out that if purchased would not have looked right in my existing space. Frank Kromer was my salesperson, and did a fantastic job of making sure I made the perfect choice on the exact dishwasher that would do the job and be reliable. Frank is friendly, not pushy at all, and just helps you get what you want to get. He was also very good at letting me know about available rebates. It was a busy Sunday, and I noticed the other sales people weren't quite as "cheerful" as Frank. Perhaps they were overwhelmed. However the woman who rang up the order (I forget her name), scheduled the install date and did the paperwork was extremely friendly, helpful and exact. They could have done the install as soon as a couple days from then, but we scheduled it for the following week. Their window of "between noon and 4" was a little rough (I understand this is standard though) for us, and they did come pretty much right at 4, but the installers were very friendly, knowledgeable and left the kitchen perfectly clean. They did a perfect install job. We were very pleased with the overall experience.

Everyone at the store was very helpful, but my wife was pretty sure of what she wanted so we just purchased an LG refrigerator the delivery team Vince and Jose were amazing they had to take the front door off to get the refrigerator in and everything was done within 15 or 20 minutes cleanly and neatly. it looks like the refrigerator would be a really tight fit under the top cabinet but they were able to just flip it up and get it back in there and everything works well. I had recently had an appliance delivery from one of the major box stores, this was a dramatically different experience. Thank you guys.

Lee, the salesman, was attentive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. He answered all of my questions and made recommendations based on my needs. I was given spec sheets on all of the appliances (washer, dryer, dishwasher) that I considered. Rebate opportunities were listed on signs next to the appliances when they applied and I received an email from Gerhard’s on how to process the rebates. I compared prices at a home improvement store and another local large appliance store. Gerhard’s prices were $40-$150 cheaper per appliance! My appliances were delivered in a few days. The installers removed three old appliances, installed and tested the new ones, cleaned up, and were out of the house in less than an hour. They were professional and efficient. I would definitely buy from Gerhard’s in the future!

We purchased a new Kitchenaid refrigerator from Phil and everything went smoothly except unfortunately the refrigerator would not cool. I had a large event planned at my home the same week and Phil worked very hard to have a replacement sent as soon as possible. The replacement is working perfectly and Phil was very attentive to our worry of having a non working refrigerator during our event. He stayed in communication with us throughout and arranged the delivery and removal of the non working refrigerator. I would have given them 5 stars but during my exchange I was due a refund and that process is antiquated. I had to keep calling for an update and was given different answers whenever I did reach someone and I was promised a return can which never happened. Finally, I called accounting and that woman was very rude nevertheless she did process my refund. No one could tell me why it took nearly 2 weeks. Overall my experience was great! Everyone in the store was helpful and I would shop here again. I would just recommend tightening up the exchange/refund process.

I came to Gerhard's Ardmore store to take a look at the washing machine (Miele WWH860) that I already chose over the internet. The guy who showed me the machine was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I was very satisfied with his answers and bought the machine right away. It was delivered on a scheduled date, and all seemed to be good. However, when I started using it, I was shocked to see that the machine was literally dancing on the floor when going to spin. I figured out that the people who delivered and installed it did not level it. I called the store, and they sent a different pair of workers to level the machine. All people in the store with whom I talked directly or on the phone were very polite and nice to me, and I would give all five stars to Gerhard's Ardmore store if my machine was leveled during the first installation.

We bought a stove and I love my stove. If you go there for the appliances just concentrate on that because nobody there seems interested in whether or not you buy anything and they're not very helpful. Go with an idea of what you want or if you see what you want just Google it it'll be more helpful. Also wish they had told me they were sending me the floor model. I find it hard to believe the grill plates had the same scratch.
