We’re extremely satisfied with our experience with Friedman’s, from customer service to the delivery technicians. Gena Wilson was our sales rep. She was knowledgeable and very patient with us. She knew we didn’t have a refrigerator for over a month now due to very bad experience with Lowe’s, so she went over and beyond in helping us find the refrigerator we wanted, ordered and delivered days well ahead of the scheduled delivery date. Now that’s what I call great service!!! Same five-stars rating goes to their delivery technicians. Their courteous and professionals, installed the ref, put all trays in place (not every delivery technicians do that these days) and gave us additional information about the product and temperature usage. Good customer service is hard to find these days. We highly recommend Friedman’s appliances and service. From now on, we will always buy our appliances from Friedman’s and never again from Blue Box store Lowe’s.

We needed a new washer and dryer immediately, as our washer had died and our dryer was not doing well either. Debi was so helpful, and gave us all the information we needed to make the right choice for our needs. The washer and dryer we wanted were in stock, and they were able to deliver them in 2 days! The delivery personnel were very professional and did a great job with the installation. We love our new washer and dryer and would very highly recommend Friedman's(and Debi)for your appliance needs. Mr Trout is the Sales Consultant that I worked with. He was professionally recommended for me by Mr Troy Reiner owner of Knoxville Cabinets & Floors. When I met Mr Trout he listened to me more than he talked. I explained my reasons for renovation & what I wanted in each appliance. I’m not a wealthy woman but Friedman’s carries a wide range of companies & styles in various prices. One criteria I was firmly set on was USA made/USA assembled. GE is USA assembled which was acceptable. In 4 days he had a proposal printed out for me to study, check other places/companies/styles. I went back to meet with Mr Trout; had some questions about different features on the stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, & hood vent. We walked around the showroom as he pointed out features & choices. He went over the financial portion explaining that maintenance & repairs are done through Friedman’s with an appliance technician trained in the appliance company. He explained the extended warranty on each appliance. I decided to use Friedman’s Appliances based on Mr Trout’s knowledge of brands, features, availability; he never talked down to me, good eye contact, professional and really wants to please his customers, he doesn’t push the higher priced items, he made good choices to offer me within my financial situation. Love Friedman’s Appliances! I have bought several appliances from them. From start to finish they have you covered. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful when deciding the best fit for your needs. I have worked with Debi on several projects. Most recently had some service issues with a range, unfortunately it was found more cost effective to replace unit. She coordinated the entire process and everything was stress free. My only critique on the replacement process was the delivery staff. No masks were worn by delivery staff, fortunately I had mine. Also the driver advised me good luck on the replacement as this particular product had numerous service issues. That statement did not give me the most comfortable feeling, however I was reassured by Debi that statement was simply untrue. Other than that I want to say Thank You and look forward to purchasing from you all again!

Two days before Thanksgiving our refrigerator went out, needless to say I was in a panic! I stopped by one of the "big box" stores and couldn't even find someone to wait on me... I went to Friedman's, was greeted immediately and was introduced to Steve Carmichael. I told Steve the predicament I was in and told him the measurements of our refrigerator "cubby". He showed me what he had available and even told me that he could have it delivered the next day. SOLD!!! My refrigerator was delivered and installed the next day. This was honestly the best customer experience I have ever had and Friedman's has gained a customer for life! I am already planning to purchase a new oven in the very near future. I actually heard about Friedman’s from several contractors. The name “Debbie” kept floating around as I was obtaining estimates. I hired Shae Design Studio for my kitchen and master bathroom renovation and Shae raved about Debbie too. I ordered premium products from Friedman’s. I ordered a Wolf induction cooktop, Wolf oven, Wolf steam oven and a nice dishwasher. Everything came out wonderfully. For the most part, things went off without a problem but when there were issues along the way, Debbie handled them with ease and I am very happy with my purchases. I would definitely recommend Friedman’s for your appliance needs. I’ve dealt with another salesperson there but honestly, it was Debbie’s attention to detail that would bring me back.

Service dept.is excellent- Corey, Larry, and Lashad . They all give especially Fast, efficient, and friendly service. I especially give a shout out for Corey. He detected an electrical problem in our house and recommended we call an electrician. It could have been a dangerous situation and we appreciate so much his extra efforts.

Long review but hopefully worth the read.... To be honest, I almost did not purchase from here due to a few bad reviews and a pre-conceived assumption that they would be over-priced.... but they were the only place I could find the washer and dryer I wanted in stock. I was desperate and needed them ASAP. After working with our sales rep (from across the country... we just moved here), Gary, he gave us a very reasonable deal that was not far from big box store price. THEN we found out they were back ordered. Gary understood I couldn’t go without a washer and dryer with two babies so he went to work and found a way to get me my dream washer and dryer. After being delivered, we called for service as something was wrong with my dryer. Turns out, our vents were clogged (not Friedman’s fault) but this is where the magic really happens. Mark, the service repairman, was awesome. Could not have been more friendly and knowledgeable. I ended up hiring Friedman’s to look at my VERY old fridge. Mark was again so knowledgeable and kind. We decided to not repair the fridge and purchase a new one. I could have gone anywhere but could not get over how excellent the service was. You do not get that at a big box store.... ever! So back to Friedman’s to buy a fridge. Things then got even better... Gary, again, hit it out of the park by helping us find the perfect fridge for our budget and family. I would not have even considered the brand we purchased at a big store but it’s amazing. I just called with a few questions on my new fridge and they were so incredibly helpful and are sending someone out to help me. No big store would ever do this and to be fair... I really did not pay much more (if any) for my appliances! Hoping to see Mark’s friendly face on Friday. He’s so nice that I don’t think I will even mind if my appliances break down in the future if it means I can shoot the $&@! with Mark (kidding.... sort of). I will hands down purchase all of my appliances from Friedman’s..... specifically from Gary as he is an appliance expert AND mostly because I know that if something happens that their service after they take my money is top notch. There is no way I would get the same service at Costco, Lowe’s, Home Depot... etc. I would sit on the phone for hours begging for them to help me all for them to tell me I’m SOL. Instead... I make a 2 minute phone call and Friedman’s to the rescue. Note: we are new to Knoxville and have no affiliation with anyone from Friedman’s. This review is my way of saying thanks to them for being awesome. PS.... someone should tell Janice below that she is lucky the service department is coming. She might even make a new friend and stop being so grumpy.

We needed to replace our washer and dryer and stopped in to ask questions and see the actual models. The entire staff was friendly, helpful and fun. Debi Timm answered all of our questions and showed us another option after listening to our needs. The delivery and set-up was hassle-free. They showed up on time, were very careful taking out the old and bringing in the new. Not a drop of water was spilled, no scuffs on doors, floors or walls. They showed me how to use them, gave me some helpful tips and I am very happy with my purchase!

We purchased a Bosch dishwasher from Freeman's appliances in 2019. It was the best dishwasher we've ever had in terms of cleaning power, loading capacity, and noise level. This last January we noticed that the dishwasher was not cleaning as well as it had been, and an error code, E09, would appear after a wash was completed. I called Friedman's and a repair person was sent out. The problem was with the heater that needed to be replaced. Being that the appliance was out of warranty, the cost to fix this issue was about two thirds of what we had paid for the appliance originally. I called and spoke with Russell Greer, owner of Friedman's, to see if there was anything he could do to help. Russell called the manufacturer and worked some kind of magic. He then sent his repair person back to fix the dishwasher, and I was charged a very small amount for the repair. It works like new now. The kind of customer service that Russell provided is what will bring us back to Freidman's Appliances for our future purchases. Customer service means everything, and Friedman's provides it!

We went to Friedman's because we were interested in a Speed Queen washing machine and they are a retailer. We were surprised at how reasonably and competitively priced their appliances were. The sales woman we talked with was very knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. All the employees were very kind and friendly. Debi was very helpful in showing us different brands and pricing levels of appliances to meet our budget (and also helpful in maximizing the available manufacturer rebate and discounts). She spent a lot of time putting together quotes for different options that we were considering. Debi was quick to respond to phone calls and emails throughout the buying process. All appliances were delivered and installed to meet our schedule. I generally do not like retail stores but I can honestly say that I had an enjoyable experience at Friedman's. Highly recommended!

During this time of COVID, it seems everyone is short on everything. Stock is depleted and on order but most models are months out from delivery. We purchased a dishwasher from another store on the last day of a Black Friday Sale at a greatly reduced price, but on delivery it was found to have a badly dented side panel for which we refused delivery without knowing it was the last model in stock. They could not sell their floor model and delivery of that model was expected in February. We found the exact same model at Friedman's. It was their last in stock as well. So, we lost the sale discount, but found Friedman's to be more than helpful with allowing us to take their floor model (last one in stock), deliver it within three working days and provide service immediately on the following day to correct a minor problem with a panel beneath the dorr which was binding when the door was opened. The problem was quickly resolved, the washer is very quiet and cleans extremely well. Friedman's will be my first stop next time I am shopping for an appliance.
