Needed a fridge and range, and Juan came through! I visited one afternoon when he was there and he was so helpful. He asked me what I needed and showed me everything he had that matched. He went out of his way to try to help me, messaging me a few days later when he had something for me that matched my requirements and budget. Delivery was great, he came out less than a week after I purchased them and hauled my old appliances away. Cannot recommend a better place to get appliances if you're in the market for something that's going to work so well, even if it has a scratch or dent.

Rather than going thru my whole story, I just want to say that Juan and his family are people of high standards and principles. He was unable to service my dryer because of his instore repair schedule. He was inundated with appliance repairs, but was able to find a way to help me out. He himself couldn't respond to my service call request, but he took it upon himself to find someone that could. He sent his son-in-law Alex, a very friendly and capable individual who did a great job! Juan is a man of integrity which is very rare these days. As it appears, so is his family. Great people!

This is my second purchase from them. They are awesome. I needed a washer. They brought it right away, hooked it up, and left me with no worries. Shalom means Peace. They Definitely gave me Peace. I know i have nothing to worry about. I will be getting a dryer next week.

I had a fantastic experience here! For a small store, their selection of used appliances was much nicer and cleaner than a lot of other pre-owned appliance stores I visited with very reasonable pricing. They offer a wide range of high-quality used appliances with a few new ones mixed in. Juan was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They offer a limited warranty and delivery so we didn’t have to do anything but pay and pick a delivery date - super easy. I was fully aware I was purchasing a new scratch-and-dent refrigerator and range, hence the great price. When they were being delivered, Juan told me he switched out one of the fridge doors before bringing them over, so it actually ended up looking even better than when I saw it in-store! All-around, everything works and looks great and we got a fantastic deal. Check here before shopping around for used appliances or big-box stores - I could have saved myself a lot of time and headache had I gone here in the first place. Very glad I found them and will definitely shop with Shalom Appliances again when we’re ready for a new washer and dryer!

The owner and staff are courteous and helpful. I'm happy to refer them to anyone wanting to deal with straight forward, honest and honorable folks. I've purchased there now my third time and plan to continue. I needed a specific size refrigerator to fit into a unique space and within a week, the owner called and said he located a like new one for me (2016) model at nearly half the price of new, which also included delivery. A warranty is given, but never needed to use it as quality and like new condition prevail at this store. Stop by, you won't be disappointed...

I went here in search of a refrigerator. When I walked in the store immediately I noticed how clean and organized they were. I looked around and they had some really good merchandise. I ended up picking out a refrigerator. He gave me a really good deal on it plus delivery!! I was so happy!! This was a month ago and I have no problems and he even gave me a extra month warranty!! I had an issue not knowing how to work my washer with the water setup in my apartment so I thought it was broken (didn’t know that was the issue ) and though I was pretty far away the owner himself came out and helped me the very next day. Extremely professional and easy to work with. Interacted entirely via Facebook and Juan found the exact appliance I wanted. They even delivered a little outside their normal delivery area (for a little extra $$ of course). The guys carrying the appliance into the house were also really courteous and professional and took care when moving the appliance through the house. Shalom secondhand appliance store delivered it and transferred my cord off my old stove to the new one at no additional cost. They also were gracious enough to remove my old stove as well. Although they were about to move to a new location, Shalom, had a really nice selection of second hand appliances. My wife and I were able to get a washer, dryer, fridge, and stove for something that fit into our budget. They even were able to come by in a few days and do a delivery and install. They offer a 3-month warranty and test the products they hook up, Shalom is definitely a place to check out if you're in the market for appliances or need an appliance repaired.

I went to this place after I moved into a house with no appliances. I was extremely impressed. My wife and I went to several different places and we found much better appliances here for much better prices than anywhere else. They were very friendly and accomodating. They even answered all my wifes questions and sent pictures of their inventory via facebook. But what impressed me the most was their honesty. You almost never see that especially from someone that is trying to sell you something. We ended up buying a washer, dryer, stove/oven, and refridgerator. They delivered everything at a day and time that worked for me. I'll never buy appliances anywhere else.

The man who runs the place is fantastic!!!! I picked out a nice fridge for a good price. I really wanted a beautiful Samsung refrigerator, but it was out of my price range. Before it was to be delivered, he called me saying it didnt seem as cold as it should be so he offered me a different model. He was swamped with deliveries that day and he called me to apologize for being a few hours behind and for the inconvenience he brought me the Samsung I had my eye on. What a sweet thing to do!!!! My wife and I recently purchased a washer and dryer set from this company.. in short.. Juan went beyond with coordinating my delivery because I have a very hectic work schedule.. he literally kept in touch until he arrived at my home so I could ensure someone would be there.. when he completed setting it up for me(again.. my work schedule being crazy.. he went ahead and hooked everything for me) he noticed my neighbor who already had a washer and dryer.. had their dryer vent hooked up wrong and was just kinda hanging there.. he went and got some supplies from his truck and reconnected it not only for free.. but without even being asked to do so.. this type of service is rare nowadays..I feel incredibly confident with the set we purchased because Juan will take of anything that happens within the confines of the set and normal use.. he was very professional.. on time.. and it was a really good experience.. he found a nice set with the budget I gave him and we're very happy. Don't waste your time going elsewhere.. Juan stands by his products and will ensure you are not only satisfied.. but he will save you a lot of money like he did for us..

Found this place on Google and saw the great reviews. Needed an electric dryer with basic functions and found exactly what we needed for under $200 and inside of 5 minutes.
