What truly takes a business from Good to Great is committed customer service. After doing some research which consisted of reading reviews on OTR microwaves, I narrowed my look go see to three local companies with in stock inventory. A nice young salesman presented me with loads of wonderful options. He was on his A game —knowledgeable, direct, and efficient. The store was clean, well stocked and everyone seemed very professional. The sales prices were spectacular, and what was most important to me was installation and recycling my old microwave — trading up — plus getting all my OTR Microwave options with a great warranty. Thank you Austin S. for making my first time visit very productive.

Purchased a washer over the phone after finding what I wanted online. Steve, my salesperson was very helpful and gave me tips and advice for using my new washer when it arrived. The washer was in stock and was delivered to my house within a few days. The delivery people were prompt and polite. My wife and I purchased a speed queen washer dryer set. The sales team were very helpful. We had the whole store to ourself. When our merchandise was delivered to our home the dryer was damaged. The delivery driver noticed the dent and made us aware. He offered us a discount or a replacement. The replacement dryer was delivered the same day. You get what you pay for.

Low sales pressure. Personable salesperson. Delivery was early, quick, and responsible. Treated my property and purchase with respect. Wasn't sure I would even try the company, but thought I would just look (had already done my research and knew what I wanted). The salesperson was respectful of my prior research and made sure I had more information before I made up my mind. So, I bought from Warner's Stellian instead of another big appliance store.

Buy local! What a breath of fresh air after playing “Where’s Waldo” looking for help at the big box store and previous big box warranty designed to frustrate every claim. Austin answered every question I had, provided straightforward information, and assured me that if I called the warranty 800 number I would get a live person in three or four rings. The installation guys were prompt, polite, and professional. After installation I called the warranty number to test it and spoke directly with a helpful young woman named Ashley. Yes, I would highly recommend Warner Stellian!!

Okay. So. We bought a washer and dryer back in March. We had some communication and user issues right out of the starting gate. After some time, we ended up with appliances that worked fine, but that didn't really work with our lifestyle (mainly issues with wi-fi and rural-ness). So I did what every good, non-confrontational, passive aggressive Midwesterner does and I wrote a detailed and snarky public review. Never in a MILLION YEARS did I expect this company to give a rip about one irritable review. But guess what? Within about 36 hours of my post, a big boss had called me up. She was so nice and so very concerned and wanted to hear all the details. So I told her. And she never once blamed me or made excuses. She just said, "This is totally not typical of our company and we want to make this right." And within two hours, our original sales rep/manager had called me and we had a plan to get back on track. At my convenience, I was able to go back to the store (which I was nervous to do- I had to face the people I had called out 🤦‍♀️) and had the opportunity to find machines that fit our lifestyle in the way we needed. Brian, the manager who had helped us from the very beginning, was amazing. And he could've been cold and abrupt (my review really wasn't nice). But he was warm and welcoming (and such a fun guy to talk to!) Upon hearing the issues we'd been having, he had put effort into finding something that would really work for us and he totally redeemed our faith in the company. Not only was the return experience easy, we probably spent more time there than was necessary, just visiting and joking with Brian. He said he wanted us back in the Warner Stellian family and he treated us so. I can't believe how above and beyond these guys went to salvage this situation and I am absolutely more than satisfied. In fact, if I'm not completely blacklisted from the store at this point 🤞 I'll be stopping in again soon because our dishwasher's on the fritz. 😬 Thank you, Brian, and the crew at WS, for caring and supporting us. You demonstrated exactly what the difference is between a client-focused, family-run business and a big box store. Unfortunately for ya'll, you've made a lifelong returning customer out of me! 😉

Buying a stainless steel appliance during the pandemic is not easy…Warner Stellian sales made sure we understood the possibility of delays and that they don’t get commission until we get our fridge. When they finally got it in they called immediately and scheduled delivery! The delivery tracker was excellent to let me know when they would be here and the delivery team was above and beyond. They did way more than I expected to get my dream fridge into our home! 100 stars all around!

The biggest selling point for me is the service after the sale. To start off, I was very impressed that they not only require masks for Covid prevention, but also have latex gloves to use while looking at products. The salesman here was very helpful. I provided requirements, and let him know that we needed a new fridge asap, as our old one had rather suddenly become unpredictable. He looked up what was in stock that met my needs, and showed me the floor models. We were even able to get a delivery scheduled for the next day. The delivery team called as expected, and showed up right when they said they would. They removed our old fridge and brought in the new one, performing the installation and hooking up the water line. They leveled the fridge as well, and made sure everything was working. They, too, work masks the entire time, which I appreciated. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this store for appliances.

Bought a new range from them. The sales person was nice enough. Not pushy. Gave me the information I needed to make a decision. Unfortunately, the range we ordered I’ve been damaged in their warehouse, so they had to order a new one. Fine. I had to follow up with them, after a week to check on the status of put purchase. Set up a time for delivery. They didn’t show during the window. Called an hour afterwards and made no apology for being late. Until I brought it up, of course. I’d probably go with Archer Appliance next time. We’ve purchased from them in the past and have had good customer service. They just didn’t have the range we wanted in stock and couldn’t order it.

I am extremely frustrated with this company. I bought a brand new refrigerator 2 weeks ago and the freezer has not been working wince day1. Our ice cream keeps getting soft/melting despite turning the temperature to the maximum. We have called the store multiple times and the store states the "salesperson no longer works there". They sent us to customer support and are refusing to trade out the refrigerator. They want us to exchange or return only with a re-stocking fee. This is the first and last time I will use this company. I thought being a smaller company there would be a heightened attention to customer service, but I've been disappointed to discover the opposite. I was feeling nostalgic when we went to purchase this refrigerator the day after Black Friday as it was "small business Saturday", so rather than go to the big box appliance store we normally use, we decided to support a local business down the street from the big box store. Unfortunately, I feel we've been burned as I am certain the big box store has a 30-day guarantee. Update: We were able to remedy the situation with a planned exchange for another item.

Decided to finally replace an old stove and have been watching sale prices at the big box stores. On a whim, decided to look at Warner's Stellian's website and realized that they had the stove I had been looking for at a cheaper price. I was a little surprised given their location. I assumed everything there would be pricier than most places. Stopped in last Saturday, ordered the stove with help from a great salesperson ( Shea I think his name was) and was able to get delivery scheduled within a few days. It was nice to be able to do all of it in one seamless stop unlike what we have experienced elsewhere. Their installation team works for them and is not outsourced so I expected everything to go smoothly. The delivery team, Kevin and Dante, arrived within the time frame expected, introduced themselves and went straight to work. I loved not hearing"oh this or that isn't correct" or "you need one of these and we don't have one on our truck". Smooth as silk! Very professional gentlemen who knew what they were doing. Very happy with everything. This area needed Warner's Stellian!

Making a double oven from two units means needing two outlets. I didn't know that and have only one. Don't know yet if the second unit is 110V or 220V, nor do I have the actual measurements for my product, so it is difficult to know where exactly to install a platform in the cabinet to support that second unit. These were potentially foreseeable and avoidable issues if salesman had asked questions about the existing wall oven. An inconvenience and unexpected expense will result but not something that will have ruined the overall experience. Just do some research ahead of time, know what to ask and be prepared for possible changes. This is true of ALL home projects, even minor ones. I do recommend these guys as they've been helpful, flexible and understanding at every stage. I can only hope that continues as I work through my issue with this second unit.

This is a great store! We had a washing machine go down and went back to where we originally bought it from. Well needless to say, they didn’t have it in stock and then they decided to not delivery or install it the day after confirming they would. We never received any communication from them, I had to wait on hold for 60+ minutes the next day for them to tell me they had cancelled all deliveries. Went to Warner’s Stellian website, placed the order and it was delivered and installed all within 3 days and at a lesser price. I would recommend them to any and everyone. Thank you.

But Warner's made it so easy and the process was so smooth that I honestly kind of want to buy a house I can't afford just to go back and look at new stuff. Two days after having my new GE stove installed by Warner Stellian, the oven stopped working though the stovetop worked beautifully. It took a few days to get through their customer service and schedule a repairman. The WS customer service has been swamped lately as demand for new appliances has gone up dramatically during the pandemic. A week after the initial oven install, a repairman was able to look at my oven and found that the ignition was faulty. Because it would be faster to swap out the oven for a different one rather than wait for the new part to arrive, Warner Stellian replaced my GE oven free of charge.

10-21-2020 Unfortunately, Warners' Stellian tore up my counter top when installing a dishwasher that cost $1250. After one in-person visit and 3 phone calls later, they still will not fix the counter and instead ignore us. "My manager will get back to you," is all we are told. Unfortunately, they have 48 hours before they end up in small claims court. We bought the dishwasher 6-8 weeks ago, I think they've had enough time to return a call. You might be able to stay in business in Minnesota doing stuff like this, but it won't work for long in Iowa. In addition, they charge all Iowa customers $20 for an anti-freeze type plumbing part (called a hammer arrestor) that they don't install. It's required by code in Minnesota and not needed in Iowa but they charge you for it anyway. I was going to let that go, but if they aren't willing to fix the countertop I'll have the Iowa attorney general investigate how many people have fraudulently been charged for that part too. I would skip Warner's Stellian store and go elsewhere. 10-22-2020 Update. Pro Tip: It's more effective to write a Google Review than communicate with Warners' Stellian directly. Like Magic we were scheduled for a countertop repair visit today. God Bless Google reviews. After 45 days of being ignored we got a call today. Then later today the sales manager (Dom) called and stated that he can't see where I was charged for a Hammer Arrestor. That's weird because I never called him about a hammer arrestor - I was planning to wait until my damage claim was handled properly before bringing that up. I can also attribute that to this Google Review. Since they prefer this format, will the marketing and spin control folks please show Dom in West Des Moines the picture of my receipt where I was charged for a Hammer Arrestor and send me a check. He can't seem to see where I was charged for it. I've attached the photo to this Google review. 10-23-2020 The store manager (Dan I think) called me to tell me that I was not charged for a Hammer Arrestor. I have posted a picture below this review of my receipt and paperwork. He said he's going to mail me a new receipt instead! Nice try, I don't need a new one. I still have my original. Refund the $19.99 plus tax for the Hammer Arrestor. 10-26-2020 The store manager Dan called and said "I got a call saying I should refund the Hammer Arrestor, what card do you want it on?" So I gave him my card number and got a refund for the Hammer Arrestor that was never installed. To whoever reads these and told him to issue the refund, thank you. I added a star to the review. 10-28-2020 A sub-contractor that is in charge of the dishwasher install crew came out and looked at our countertop today. He said he would mail a check for $500 so we can get the countertop fixed. Waiting for check now. 11-5-2020 Check arrived and cleared the bank. Adding a 3rd star for the company finally getting around to doing the right thing.
