Staff were very helpful in answering questions during our appliance search via the website chat, email, and phone. We needed to replace our broken dishwasher and the Bosch model we originally wanted was indefinitely out of stock due to supply chain. They were able to help us identify an alternative. Then, a model similar to the one we wanted restocked and we were able to get it from Yale when nobody else had it! Delivery and install was so easy. It took about 3 weeks from the order date to the install. The delivery and install team worked around unexpected road work and limited parking like it was no big deal and took great care delivering and installing our new dishwasher. They had it up and running smoothly and did a great job explaining everything. I'm so happy with my new dishwasher and my Yale appliance experience. Thank you!

Yale was so easy to work with and installed my new washer/dryer within days of me calling them. Darnell assisted me over the phone as I live out of state and was replacing a unit in a rental property. He helped weigh my options and gave me all the pricing for several suitable options. I was able to do everything over the phone and my tenants love the new unit and said the installation was very quick and efficient. Would definitely use them again.

The delivery crew called ahead and came early to deliver and install the new refrigerator. Upon arrival, the crew measured doorways and checked with me as to where the unit would be installed. They unpacked and removed all packaging outside, then carefully moved it into the house where it was designated. Everything went very well and the refrigerator is in good working order. We are very pleased with the service provided so far.

Unreal service. Anthony is the sales and service department is phenomenal. Our oven broke 2 days before my wife's Baby Shower. Initially I was told 3 weeks, which is normal and understandable. He went the extra mile after our call to find an earlier date. By a bit of luck and persistence on Anthony's behalf, he found a space on a truck the same day. It was delivered within 2 hours of ordering it. Unbelievable. Disclaimer: Don't expect this, I think it was 1 in 1,000 this would happen, but if there is a chance YALE will figure it out!

My experience with Yale appliance was 5 star all the way. I had a smaller than average space into which to fit a new refrigerator. The sales representative helped me quickly find a model to work with that space. Yale was very proactive in terms of communication about the delivery time. And, I cannot say enough good things about the actual delivery. Yale communicated well in advance about when the delivery would be coming. The driver was running a little bit of head of schedule so he called to ask if it would be OK to come early. Once they got here there was an issue with the floor and the driver and his team pulled the materials out of their truck to create a level surface for me. They went above and beyond to make sure the installation went very smoothly.

Unfortunately we took the next day delivery promised on the website for granted. Too good to be true! But we totally understand that delivery and install of a new dishwasher can't be arranged overnight. From there on everything worked like a breeze! We found our own plumber who was available for a costumer of 20+ years. Yale refunded the installation costs right away, The promised delivery was taken care of in a brilliant way. We got a link to watch the driver on his way - great tool! We are shopping at Yale for 20+ years - never a disappointment! First time shopping online, but we knew exactly what we wanted!

The team that installed my Washer / Dryer were amazing. My delivery had been termed too difficult by another store. Cruz and his associate from Truck 14 knew exactly what had to be done, went about the delivery as experienced craftsmen, were intent on making sure everything was done right, and had the washer / dryer in place and running in a surprisingly short period of time. We ordered a Fisher &Paykel refrigerator 2 months ahead of time to make sure we would get it for our new condo. It arrived in the warehouse within a few weeks. They kept it for us and then did an on time delivery. They communicated and were helpful throughout the process. The delivery men were careful with the new floor. They set everything up and made sure the water worked, no leaks, etc. we were incredibly impressed with the service and since the price is the same everywhere, it was great to go with a local company. Since 2007, we have had 3 appliances purchased from and delivered by Yale. Their staff, from sales to delivery professionals, are courteous and competent. We were reminded of how excellent their service can be when our neighbor went through three attempted to have a washing machine delivered (not enough crew, wrong parts, etc.) last month. In contrast our new washing machine was delivered (second floor walk up) and installed on a Saturday within 35 minutes. They even called to see if arriving early would work for our family. Highly recommend!!

As long-standing customers of Yale, we were again very happy with them! When our 12 year old dishwasher sprung a leak, we contacted Yale immediately and, after a few back and forths, they were able to find a machine similar to what we wanted that was in stock and at a good price. Mark and Jordan installed my panel ready Bosch dishwasher and did an absolutely outstanding job. Fitting the panel was not straight forward, but they were so knowledgeable, capable and fixed all the problems. This is nothing like the experience I have had with other big companies. They even showed me best practices when using my new dishwasher and provided the basic familiarization. There is absolutely no comparison to places like Home Depot and it made me realize that you can have excellent service and folks that actually take real pride in their work. I will definitely get all my appliances from Yale in the future and ask for Mark and Jordan to do the installation. They are a real asset for Yale Appliances.

Mine was not an easy install. My Beacon Hill home is on a narrow street and the door and the stairway are difficult to navigate. We had just repainted the house and were concerned the washer/dryer would be impossible to bring down the stairs without some dings and scratches. To our amazement and delight, Yale sent 4 very competent and pleasant movers who patiently removed the old appliance and reinstalled the new with nary a scratch to our stairs and hallways. They took the time to ensure the unit was level and installed and working properly. I would not hesitate to recommend Yale's delivery service to friends and neighbors, particularly those who live in our dense and difficult to maneuver neighborhood.

For the last couple of years I have had no interest to spend. Everything we bought had heres and theres. We had to spend time to return, exchange, fix, etc.
This is not the case with the purchase from Yale Appliance . Everything was above the expectations. We were pleasantly surprised with the service.

In the past year we have chosen to give our business to Yale Appliance for several appliance purchases and installations. Those items include a Bosch dishwasher, LG washer & dryer, Cafe’ cooktop, and a BEST downdraft.
Recently we had an issue with the BEST downdraft and after they came out twice to fix it- it was still broken. Instead of leaving us with a lemon, they ended up taking action to resolve the issue. We now have a working unit installed and appreciate the excellent customer service we received. Big thanks to the people behind our care and customer satisfaction.

I believe Yale has the right products and good intending people. However, after 3 attempts at delivery, and then having to sign a release of liability because they didn't bring the right parts, I don't think they are good at the service end of things at all! Given their prices, and if they want to keep customers, they need to work this out.

The store in Dorchester is beautiful. The salesman, Tran, was very knowledgeable about the inventory; pleasant and thorough . The delivery and installation was awesome. They showed up within the two hour time block. My installation was a bit more complicated, but they completed it all in a professional and timely manner. No extra or hidden costs. Michael was very helpful. He was early and diagnosed the issue with our oven within 20 minutes of being here. This was the third time someone from Yale came for the same issue. On his first visit he fixed the oven. Additionally, our dryer drum was malfunctioning and he ordered a new one. Michael should have a 5 star but giving a 4 because Yale has been out here 3 times.

Excellent experience from beginning to end. Ordered a range on the website, and was contacted by someone at that afternoon to arrange delivery. Delivery came right at the beginning of our two hour window and went exceptionally smoothly. Our old range was out of the house in less than five minutes and the new one in 10 minutes later. They were very careful with our floors and our doorways, and made sure the new unit was perfectly level before leaving.

Jaylon has come to our home on two occasions; mostly for issues related to learning the best way to use the appliances. He has been early than scheduled both times and he calls ahead to make sure it’s ok. He is a pleasure to work with and imparts his knowledge of the appliances in an understandable way.

Repair service: My fridge squeaked and wouldn’t close all the way without a push, so I called for help. After describing the issue, I was asked to send some photos. After waiting a few days, I was informed that their assessment was that the gasket needed to be replaced (that’s the rubber that goes all the way around the door. The part takes 6-8 weeks. I asked are you sure? Yes, we’re sure.
Almost 2 months goes by (squeeeeeeak EVERY time) and I called right before the new year. Are you sure it’s 6-8 weeks? Are you sure that’s really the problem? Don’t you want to come out and see it? Yes, we’re sure. We’ll come out when the part arrives.
A Yale service rep (very nice guy) came around the 8 week mark and COULD NOT figure out why the door wouldn’t close and was sure it WASN’T the gasket that we waited 8 weeks for. (Plus if it HAD been the gasket, the whole door would have to be taken apart!).
After much hemming and hawing we realized one of the shelves on the door was hitting the drawer! Move the shelf up, and the door closes perfectly. Some silicone and the squeaking is done.
If they had JUST ordered the part and then come out to see, we could have saved so much time and annoyance! Sigh. Service rep: 5. Service department: 3. KitchenAid: 1 for making a fridge whose shelves bang into the drawer.

Our delivery experience and the three (so far) subsequent service visits for our brand-new Miele 24" washer and dryer have all been stellar, although the dryer continues to malfunction in a couple of ways, so I believe we have a lemon. But I'm reviewing Yale here, not Miele. Yale's customer-service, delivery, and service teams are extremely skilled and professional, take great care with their work, and are a total pleasure to deal with — and I've gotten to know them rather well now. I'm also grateful for Yale's fabulous service plan. Let's hope they fix my dryer's rather odd issues soon, or persuade the higher-ups to swap it for one that works correctly. Here's a tip: Always make sure you get an owners' manual during delivery. I somehow got a Beko manual instead, and it is proving impossible to get the right one. I've been begging about five people at Yale and also a few at Miele, and it's like asking them for a Jane Austen first edition. Scrolling through a PDF on a phone isn't nearly as quick and handy as using a book, and appliance companies print manuals for a reason. (My washer is quite simple and its manual runs to 85 pages, all in English, so the dryer manual must be pretty thick.)

We were beside ourselves at the thought of replacing cabinetry surrounding our ‘dead as a door nail’ KitchenAid refrigerator in order to put a new fridge in the same spot...all the newer refrigerator models are taller and some are wider than the older models like mine. But Brittany had a G.E. French door model in stock that was taller, but close in size to what we needed...and Yale had a wonderful team of professionals to remove my useless KitchenAid, modify the existing cabinet above the fridge and install the new G.E. Profile appliance. Problem solved!

The sales rep we worked with, Ariela, was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to help us find the right appliances even in the midst of major back order issues. We were very limited in our fridge options, and even though we ultimately had to buy through a big box store (snapped up an “open box” returned unit because the brand is on indefinite back order everywhere), Ariela was so helpful, informative, and patient throughout the whole process, I was committed to buying our range and microwave through Yale. Yale arrived in the time window that they committed to but did not call 30 minutes before as discussed so it created a bit of stress. Details of the delivery were not shared with the team that brought the refrigerator so it caused unnecessary steps. The experience would have been five * if there had been some advanced planning/communication. The Delivery team rolled with it and pivoted easily. It all worked out, but there was unnecessary angst involved with the delivery. As with most appliances these days there was extended wait time for this one but that seems to be an industry wide challenge.

1. Too long of a wait for a service call. This service call was for my dryer. In the past I had another service call for my Dishwasher. Again, I had to wait over 1 month for a service call. Yale’s Service Department leave a lot to be desired. Not sure if my next appliance purchase will be from them. I used a small local appliance store in the past. The longest I had to wait was 4 days for a service call.
2. My dryer is still not drying. I have to run a batch of clothes 2 or 3 times at over and hour. Something is wrong.
In the future, I will not purchase anything from Yale.

We knew we wanted a Miele dishwasher, so there was no sales pressure, at least on Yale's part. They delivered the new and took away the old at the time projected. I did the installation myself without much problem as the old dishwasher was similar and all the hook-ups were in place.
The salesman suggested a supply of dishwasher salts in case our water was hard. We are on MWRA/Quabbin water, which research shows is quite soft, so we declined the salt.

The delivery day process was amazing. First I got a text linking me to a site where I could follow the status of the driver with my refrigerator. The site continues to have updates of projected time of arrival. I then got a call asking if they could arrive early which was great. The delivery guys were the best. Extremely polite and we’re extremely careful to not damage anything from the door frames to a lamp that might have been a little too close, to the final installation of the refrigerator. They can not get payed enough for the job they did. I was really impressed and appreciated the efficiency and care with which they moved.

I posted a one-star review (listed below) couple of weeks ago. The day after I posted it (a Saturday) the sales manager called me and said he was sorry to hear about my experience. He said he would do whatever it takes to make it right. Two days later (Monday) he had a service technician come to the house to adjust the stove burners. The technician spent close to two hours checking out everything on the range to make sure it was working properly. It is working as it should now. The sales manager called back the next day to ensure the stove was adjusted properly. And he said he would send a box of pots and pans to replace those that had blackened bottoms from the poorly adjusted burners. He did that. And he said if I had called to express my disappointment with the initial range conversion he would have sent out the service technician right away to readjust it. I had gone through the regular channel for requesting service for an appliance bought from Yale so I figured I had done what could be done. Out of frustration I wrote the one-star review below. Given the recent response of Yale and the fact the sales manager gave me is personal cell number to call if I had any other questions or concerns I'm revising this to a 5-star review. I encourage anyone who has difficulty with a Yale-bought appliance that can't be resolved through normal service channels to seek the manager for a remedy. I will buy appliances from Yale again.

I am really disappointed in Yale, Boston MA. I ordered a natural gas Blue Star range and sales accidentally ordered one for propane. They said they could convert it to natural gas which they attempted to do. Well it didn't work The flame is too big and yellow. The flame blackens the bottom of pots. About the only way to prevent that is to turn the flame down very low. But then why have the high BTU burners? The service technician came twice and suggested I partially close the valve at the wall. That did not work. It's essentially all or nothing. So now I have an expensive range that can't be used in the way it was intended without blacking the pot bottoms. :(

After spending a weekend researching refrigerators and being frustrated at not finding quite what I wanted, I decided to start from scratch and seek help from experts. Yale Appliance seemed to have great reviews, and I was able to get an appointment that same day (Monday). Although I had to wait on arrival despite the appointment (the scheduled person had had to bail, it seems) I was eventually given full attention by Laurie, who guided me kindly and patiently through the thicket to just what I wanted. (She introduced me to a brand that I'd not heard of but which seems first rate and came at an extremely reasonable price.) And -despite the horror stories I'd heard about having to wait months for an appliance delivery , I was able to get my refrigerator within a few days. It's already here! Now I'm just adjusting to the new, slightly smaller size (which I expected; I just have to cure myself of water bottle redundancy!) Anyway, I had been dreading this whole process, but Yale Appliance truly eased the way for me. And the delivery link which let me know where the truck was proved extremely helpful, as it looked like my delivery would come a lot sooner than scheduled and I was able to be set to go when the call came a full hour before expected. If I need any other large appliances, I will for sure head to Yale Appliance again! (And I'm not being paid to say that, honest!)

First of all, in the assessment of my wife who shop for the appliances in 2020, Yale was the one with highest number and quality of supplies in the greater Boston area. Later I've dealt with them a couple of times regarding service requests.. in this regard, they have been professional, efficient, and friendly. For example,. my new fridge was a few months past its one year warranty, when its ice maker stopped working. When I called for service, the very nice scheduler, after scheduling the service, called the manufacturer and got them to pay for the repair and the parts, and afterwards credited back to my credit card the $100 home visit fee. During the week of the visit I received several text messages, one to determine the exact time window of the visit, one to check the safety of my home regarding covid-19, and a few text messages on the scheduled day to update me about the whereabouts of the driver and his eta. The service person Derek arrived on time, was efficient and professional, and replaced the ice maker quickly. I highly recommend this store.

We had an in-person appointment over the tax-free weekend after I had done the research to choose a couple of refrigerator candidates. In the end we found just what we wanted in the Yale Outlet. We always appreciate the expertise of the staff; they did not pressure us in any way to settle for something we did not want. The help service on the website was, in fact helpful. The woman who took my call about the Outlet fridge was quick and very warm. We have to call out especially the delivery experience with Enio, Guillermo, and Cesar. They were actually a bit early than the promised time frame. All wearing masks and very careful. I was impressed that three of them came which ensured safety. I found Yale Appliance on line, and it was love at first sight (site)! I rely on their reviews. They have extensive experience with the reliability of the appliances they sell because they are one of the rare appliance showrooms THAT PROVIDE SERVICE FOR THE APPLIANCES THEY SELL. This is critical because they have years of data on frequency of repair, performance, and customer satisfaction. And they are up to date on the new technologies being incorporated into kitchen and laundry appliances.
But here's my personal heartbreak: I don't live in Massachusetts and therefore am out of Yale's service area. Over Thanksgiving week, I visited my daughter in Boston, and we took a trip to the Dorchester showroom. It's huge and beautiful. The salesman who helped us was an appliance genius with information at his fingertips about how the appliances compare in performance and price. Other useful information he provided which you can't get from appliance websites is who makes what. E.g., the cooling equipment in a refrigerator/freezer may be made by a different company than the box.
I am currently renovating the kitchen of a Manhattan apartment. I know because I have searched: there is no comparable appliance sales and service company in the New York City area. Lucky you, citizens of Massachusetts!

I ordered a Speed Queen washing machine online at 9pm-ish after a whole lot of research. The website was terrific, noting which items were in stock and available for delivery. The order was followed up the following day with an email of the order to sign and delivery was scheduled for a couple days out. When I couldn't make that day (Thurs), they scheduled for the following Monday morning at 10:45am. At 9:24am on day of delivery I received a call that they were ahead of schedule, asking if it was ok to delivery at 9:40am. How exciting to have an earlier delivery! My dryer stopped working and it took a few days for a repairman to tell me it's the control board that was broken and it was not worth repairing an old machine. I was concerned the wait for a new one would take too long. My laundry was already piled up to the ceiling from 3 teen boys. I called Mark at Yale and not only did he quickly set me up with a new model to match my washing machine but he moved the delivery up to just a couple of days.

I did some research on their website and narrowed it down a couple different models, then made an appointment to come in and see them in-person. I met with Taylor, who was helpful, knowledgable, and low pressure. I left with a quote and took a couple days to mull it over. Overall, I have been pleased with Yale. The sales people are terrific, the service folks professional. My disappointment is that my new oven failed after just five months of use; timing was terrible just two weeks before Christmas. The computer blew, the latch to close the oven failed. The pandemic caused many delays in getting parts which eventually came in stages. The oven was finally fixed today, nearly 8 weeks after the initial fail. So, now, I don't know if I trust the oven and wish I could just get a new one. This was an epic wait - even my Whirlpool warranty failed to help! Thankfully Yale stepped in to make the repairs...but really! I can't wait to bake now!

After a nightmare experience with Best Buy that left me with scratched walls and no refrigerator for three months, dealing with the lovely people at Yale Appliance was a breath of fresh air. Their customer service is top notch. The refrigerator I ordered from Yale had been damaged during shipping, but the customer service team managed to find me an undamaged refrigerator in just two days despite there being a one month wait for a new refrigerator. On top of all that, they waived the service fee for the inconvenience. The installation of my appliance was easy and fast (thank you Axel, Henry, and Gerber; you guys are the best!). Purchased an LG refrigerator on April 10 and it was successfully delivered on April 15, 2021. Overall, great experience purchasing from Yale Appliance. The delivery team was super careful removing and installing the new fridge. The delivery team made sure the fridge was level, the water was working, and reiterated to flush the water and throw away first bucket of ice (as mentioned in the LG owner's manual), which I appreciated and showed that they cared.

The delivery arrived on time; the old dishwasher was removed and the new dishwasher was installed smoothly and quickly. COVID protections were observed. The new dishwasher worked as we had hoped. Danilo and Marco, our delivery personnel, were polite and helpful. They even returned a magnetic notice that had inadvertently been taken away with our old dishwasher. While I waited 9 months for the fridge that I ordered through Yale appliances to come in, I realize that the delays were not their fault.
The communication regarding the delay in the beginning was not great, and I wish that I had known about the delays when I placed, and paid for, my order (which is why this is 4 stars and not 5).
But, they did redeem themselves, and our new fridge, which is quite literally like our new baby, is great.
The delivery crew was top notch. Quick, efficient, and they even had to take off multiple doors to fit the fridge into our 200 year old farmhouse. They replaced a water line that was bad and made sure everything was hooked up and working and they cleaned up, before they left.
I would definitely recommend Yale Appliances.

Update: 11/16/18. It's now been nearly 5 years and for the first time we've had to use Yale's service team for a couple of small repairs. Kevin Marshall was our service tech and did a fantastic job. He was friendly, fast, knowledgeable and fixed our issues to get our appliances back to new again (replaced a rusting dishwasher rack, a cracked seal on our fridge, and the noisy damper control).

The fridge model I wanted wasn't available anymore, so I got a call from Brittany at Yale. Before she called me, she found another fridge that had all the same features and dimensions (ok, it was 1/4 inch deeper than the model I wanted). I bought the fridge and the service plan and she scheduled delivery around some electrical work I was having done in the kitchen. The fabulous delivery folks arrived ten minutes before the promised delivery window, took my old fridge out, put the new one in (and hooked up the ice maker) in about 15 minutes, nice and neat, and very friendly. Although we bought our our fridge only a few months ago it wasn’t cooling properly, which was deeply disapointing and caused some of my family some gastrointestinal disconfort, the process was quite seamless. They were able to come the very next day after our service call and the technician who came to our house, Tim, was very diligent in identifying the problem and ordering the new part and he was very professional. I then called customer service to request a loaner, and it was delivered the next day. Even tough we thought the replacement part, the mother board, would take forever to arrive due to the current supply issues caused by the pandemic, it arrived in less than a week, was promptly replaced and the fridge is working fine so far, less than 24 hrs so fingers crossed.
One of the main reasons we chose to purchase
from Yale was their customer service, as opposed to many other stores that will sell the fridge, but don’t provide customer service. Yale did not disappoint. All around, it was a great customer service experience and I’d highly recommend Yale.

I had high expectations of this place, based on the experiences of friends. Unfortunately, my experience was different than theirs.
First of all, the good:
The showroom is very large, and there are tons of models to look at when deciding. Sales staff is friendly and knowledgeable and pricing is reasonable.
The bad: My dishwasher arrived dented. Luckily the dent was on the side where it would be tucked under the counter, and I did get a small discount as a result. The installation, which I had arranged for on delivery day with the salesman somehow did not get scheduled, so I had to stay home another day for that.
My refrigerator and stove which were ordered at the same time at the end of December 2020 were delayed, and they were upfront about that. I was fine waiting until February when they were supposed to arrive. The February deadline came and went. I called the store and they told me it was delayed until March. I called them a few days after the second deadline and I was told it was now April. The April deadline also came and went without any word from the store. When I called them they now said June! I expressed my unhappiness with this, and the lack of communication from them. and they said they could change the order for other comparable models and they would have my salesman call me. He called me later that afternoon, on Saturday April 17th, said he would look and see what was available and get back to me later that afternoon. I wound up calling him on Wednesday since he neglected to call me back. The options I was given cost me an extra $266 dollars. Hoping to have them soon.
Update: Their customer service representative called me and was very pleasant and professional. He agreed their communication could have been better and they are making operational changes so that customers will get updates on delays. He also refunded my $266.

I recently purchased a new stove from Yale Appliance and I was very pleased with the entire process from their extremely well stocked and well laid out show room, and helpful sales staff. The delivery process was also very easy and professional. We had a slight issue with the stove after it was installed and Yale sent out a technician in a very timely manner and replaced the part immediately. It was unfortunate that we had to replace a part on a new stove but overall I was extremely impressed with Yale and their professionalism and would go there again for future appliance purchases.

Today I had an old refrigerator removed an a new one installed, and Eric and his crew in Truck #10 were amazing. Then they battled with the old fridge which was not cooperative, yet they were patient and professional and pleasant the entire time. (Had my husband and I been on the job, we would have been swearing and yelling at each other!) Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the washer I was replacing was sold to me by Yale and was a lemon (beware of Samsung top load washer). The did not give me any consideration for the replacement despite the lemon and long time relationship. Only way they earn a 5 rating is if they rise to more than an optimized transactional relationship. That may be too much to expect from an appliance business but as a business owner myself, I believe it is the ideal worth striving for.. customer relationships vs. transactional relationships.

We ordered the specific Bosch 300 series dishwasher by calling the store. It was out of stock, but to our surprise it arrived nearly 2 months before the expected delivery date. Installation by Yale Appliance is HIGHLY recommended. They gave us a 2 hour delivery window, but updated us the progress of their delivery vehicle, and then gave us a precise ETA. The installation personnel were courteous, knowledgeable and quick. Yale appliance is the best place to buy any major appliance!

Smooth transaction from order to installation. I am very impressed with Yale's communication and service. I received a call confirming my order and my delivery date shortly after I placed my order. I also received and an email with preparation steps. The day before the scheduled delivery I received a text to confirm the delivery date and time frame along with a photo of Peter, the installer who would also be making the delivery. On the delivery date I received a phone call from Yale informing that the delivery would take place in 15 minutes. Peter and his partner were careful to protect my wood floor and woodwork when they removed my old dishwasher and delivered its replacement. They installed the new machine and my custom wood panel. The matching kick plate was too large for the new machine's door to open properly. I asked them to trim the kick plate to fit. They did a beautiful job. Lastly, they tested the dishwasher and answered my questions about it. In sum, I highly recommend Yale Appliance.

My washer/dryer were in the house when we moved in and quite old. The washer died this week and I contacted Yale about a front load washer and gas dryer pair that had to be in stock. They had the pair I wanted and delivered them 3 days later so that my plumber could disconnect the gas dryer. The delivery came on time on the coldest day of the year and the men took my old ones out of my basement and set my new ones in place in the basement. The were very nice and really efficient. The new washer/dryer are both amazing! I’ve done 4 loads and the results are great!

Our experience with Yale from initial visit to final installation was great. We needed to replace a 15+ year old washer and dryer and went to Yale, who was easy to work with when we replaced our microwave, refrigerator and range. Eddie Jacob, the salesperson, was not pushy at all and knew the available products well. He arranged for a technician to do a site visit to ensure that the new washer and dryer would fit. After the visit, we placed the order over the phone and scheduled installation two days later. The entire process took only two weeks. It would have been quicker if we were able to accommodate Yale’s schedule between the site visit and final purchase. The installation people, Eddie (a different Eddie!) and another person whose name escapes me (but starts with a J), were great to work with as well. They gave advance notice that they were on the way and gave a demo and tips on the washer and dryer once installed. They also took the old ones to be recycled.

Over more than a year and a half of planning and construction, Yale sales staff, customer service staff, and delivery folks were consistently knowledgeable, patient, resourceful, and efficient. The final phase of our renovation occurred during the pandemic, but nothing deterred Yale's team from remaining professional and immediately available to assist us. I also frequently used their website articles for great advice on choosing types of appliances, lighting, etc. Appliances were delivered efficently this afternoon, with frequent updates on the truck's arrival that enabled our builder to work around the delivery schedule. Overall a great experience. Yale asks for a personal appointment, which I appreciated during the pandemic. The prices and availability were comparable to a big box store. The delivery was extra but worth it to have great knowledgeable customer service and careful delivery, instead of crowds of people, no customer service, and too many choices! I’m a fan!

Every experience that I have had over the years with Yale have been consistently professional and always informative. It’s horrible to have to spend a large amount of money for an appliance and deal with an associate at a big box store that have not been educated and don’t seem to truly care. The Yale website provides an enormous amount of information that is written so that you are able to make and feel confident about a decision. The staff that I spoke with a few times on the phone and the sales team are always extremely pleasant as well. My refrigerator was delivered the other day by a team headed up by Kevin. He made sure that his team was careful and installed everything perfectly and the unit wiped down and clean. Before he left he pointed out a few features that he thought I should be aware of and even called me after he left because he remembered something about the ice maker that he thought I should know. From talking with him I could tell that he’s proud to be part of the Yale organization which is so nice to see. Sales person was very knowledgeable. The real deal maker with Yale is the customer service, delivery and installation. For a reasonable price, a team of three people arrived on time (at the beginning of the window we were given) and removed our old washer and dryer, installed the new machines, cleaned up and were gone in about a half hour. Installation was flawless.
We've also used Yale's service department and that was a very good experience as well.

We purchased most of our appliances for our kitchen remodel from Yale appliances. Their sales team were very knowledgeable and helped us make some very good choices. We recently had an issue with the new dishwasher not draining. They were very responsive on getting someone out to look at the issue and resolve it in the same day. This was covered under the extended warranty and it is well worth that coverage, in my opinion, due to experiences with failed appliances in the past.

As a real estate agent, I understand the importance of value. Yale did a great job at explaining the differences between two different sets of equipment being considered. On installation day I received a phone call 10 minutes prior to arrival as promised. The guys were all polite and took great care in not scuffing our floors. In and out in about 45 minuets. We are doing a complete Kitchen renovation. We had 2 deliveries of a total of 7 appliances. The workmen were prompt, respectful, careful with our appliances and wore masks the whole time. The nice thing about buying from Yale is that they offer extended warranties and service on many of their appliances. We were able to buy the refrigerator we wanted because of its features even though we knew Consumer Reports noted some problems with its rate of repair. We would work with Yale again without hesitation.

We bought all new appliances from Yale and the experience was really exceptional! We worked with Patrick Dillon and he was outstanding, very informative and took the time to explain all the options. He even stayed late after closing one night to make sure I had all the info I needed to make my decision. I never felt that I was being upsold on anything and appreciated his willingness to answer my many questions. I emailed him multiple times and always heard back within an hour or two. When it came time for delivery, our contractor wasn't ready and we ended up moving the delivery date 3 times. It was never an issue for Yale, they handled it with ease and came through on the final delivery date at exactly the time they said they would be there. After the appliances were delivered I received an email with all the serial numbers of our new appliances reminding me to apply for a rebate that we qualified for. Yale staff was very good about the situation and was able to quickly order another refrigerator that was delivered within 4 days. I have worked with a smaller, more local company in the past - and would have gladly given them the business if I didn’t need a dishwasher stat. Where my other company couldn’t keep the dishwasher I wanted in stock (thanks, COVID) Yale had one on hand - and they delivered exactly as promised. Installation was crazy quick - maybe 40 minutes? - and after cleaning up, they took away the old broken unit.
One-year service warranty is delivered by them; will wait and see if / how that experience is - but thus far I’m fully satisfied.

I am so impressed with Yale Appliance. From the woman in sales in Boston to Justin who came to look at the hookup for the fridge we were getting I could not be happier. Justin gave me a day when the fridge would be in and that day he scheduled a delivery. My fridge was delivered on the day he told me and they came at the perfect time. I just knew I would be the first delivery of the day and lo and behold I was. I had a problem 4 years ago with a fairly new fridge I had bought from Yale and a manager of all the stores had a brand new one delivered. I am especially grateful for such amazing service because I had a recent experience with other people in a similar business that was not so great. So do yourselves a favor and don't go anywhere else if you have any appliance needs. I will never do business with anyone else. That's a promise.

We have bought our appliances and some of our lighting from Yale for many years. Recently, we bought a washing machine that banged like the devil himself was trying to escape every time the spin cycle started. I placed a warranty service call and the fellow that came to look at it was very friendly, on time, and careful in our house. He ordered a new suspension system and booked me into the next time slot when he'd be in my neighborhood. Yesterday, he returned with a colleague, and they replaced the suspension parts and tested the washer several times. All seemed to be well, so they put everything back and made sure the washer exterior was cleaned and sanitized.
Both technicians were friendly, careful, respectful of our space, and the fact that there was a zoom meeting going on in a nearby room. We appreciate their good work and recommend them without reservation.

Finding appliances was more challenging than I imagined during the Covid Days but Yale offered an excellent virtual sales experience, set reasonable expectations in regards to availability, and keep me informed on progress.
The virtual visit was not rushed, Anthony took me through several options in the show room over a Zoom session and did a good job of differentiating the units. Yale's prices were very competitive, I bought several kitchen appliances and a new washer/dryer, and I price shop the heck out of stuff so this was a nice surprise from a full service store such as Yale.
Delivery was on time and everything was in perfect shape, no issues what so ever. I like the 2 hour window Yale provides a couple of days in advance rather than the large service/delivery windows most others have.
I had one minor service call as a follow up. I contacted Yale in the first place for the service experience so price was a nice benefit, and service was as good as the reviews you will read. I would have no issues recommending Yale.

I had a problem with my gas cooktop, Easy to schedule an appointment using their website to contact them regarding needing service for my gas cooktop. Buying high end appliances, you don’t realize that service calls are not well-supported by any manufacturer. This I was very impressed by Yale’s commitment to their customers - despite being under-compensated for these service calls they do them to provide a high level of customer service. I would definitely buy from them again.

Salesperson Kathy Alves is a seasoned professional with her years of knowledge, patient and expert guidance in product lines, price considerations.. We had Justin come to house to evaluate and measure and issue report for installation in kitchen so salesperson could guide us for final item decisions and alert us we needed our electrician to upgrade our electrical line before our desired oven could be installed. Finally we have been amazed at how efficient the team who tracks product delivery from manufacturer and our home delivery/ installation schedule is. Great use of personal calls and electronic messaging to keep us informed at each step and on day of delivery. Highly recommend this quality organization for appliance needs. Well coordinated one stop shopping for every step involved for final installation. Delivery/installation team highly skilled at problem solving but honestly Justin's presale evaluation at house ( well worth the fee to avoid purchasing wrong appliance) identified everything up front so install was easy. Kudos to the whole organization!
